<![CDATA[Disasters can greatly impact society, especially vulnerable groups such as older people, children, women, and people with disabilities due to their physical, mental, and social limitations. Disaster preparedness programs such as School Disaster Preparedness (SDP) can be a solution to reduce the impact of disasters on vulnerable groups, especially children in schools. Through SDP, students are trained to have appropriate skills, knowledge, and behaviour to deal with disaster situations. The training aims to increase people's understanding of landslides and readiness to face disasters through the SDP program. The training methods include lectures and simulation practices for evacuation. The participants are elementary school students and local communities. The selection of vulnerable groups is based on the social and economic characteristics of the local community. The training results showed that people's understanding of landslides and readiness to face disasters increased after the training. In addition, the training also improved the ability of students and vulnerable groups to evacuate safely and effectively. The SDP program needs to be continuously socialized and supported by relevant parties to ensure optimal landslide disaster preparedness and mitigation in Ambon City.]]>

<![CDATA[Amid Indonesia's large fishery potential, groups of small fishermen who play a role in this sector face uncertainty and unresolved welfare problems. This can be found in Bojong Salawe Hamlet, Karangjaladri Village, Pangandaran Regency. The fishing families of Bojong Salawe Hamlet only depend on the sale of fish without adding much-added value to their catch. There's a need for an activity that encourages the fishing families of Karangjaladri Village to process their catches. This activity begins with the observation process, followed by product research and demonstrations as well as product processing training. Based on survey data, the knowledge and skills of the community, especially fishermen's wives, towards fish processing are fairly good, so the manufacture of processed products is not difficult. The processing of wilis fish that can be made into chili sauce has very good potential as an alternative income, as a job opportunity, and also as a typical processed product of Karangjaladri Village, Bojongsalawe Hamlet, especially for fishing families in this region.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity aims to provide understanding to teachers in order to identify students who have obstacles so they can get proper teaching in conveying subject matter. This service is carried out with three activities, namely 1) preparation, 2) lectures, questions and answers and demonstrations, 3) evaluation. Materials are compiled through Special Assistance Teacher manuals and other relevant references. The result of this service activity is that teachers know how to identify students in groups with specific learning difficulties, so that teachers can improve appropriate learning to overcome those who have specific learning difficulties.]]>

<![CDATA[Cikedokan is a village located in the West Cikarang sub-district, Bekasi Regency, West Java Province. The residents and youth of Karang Taruna in Cikedokan Village certainly want to know and develop the application of technology to advance Cikedokan Village, so they need knowledge about CCTV installation. The problem faced in the Cikedokan Village environment is that there are no resident personnel and Youth Organizations in Cikedokan Village who are able to do so. We, from the Nusa Mandiri University Lecturers, provide counseling in the form of Community Service providing solutions to overcome the problems faced by residents and the Karang Taruna of Cikedokan Village to provide installation training for CCTV devices. We do this with the aim of providing full support to residents and youth organizations in mastering the devices used in CCTV installations optimally, so that this training activity is expected to be useful for implementing the use of CCTV for various purposes so that it can be implemented, especially in increasing citizen knowledge. and Karang Taruna of Cikedokan Village. The results of this Community Service activity provided an increase in understanding and mastery of CCTV camera installation as a basic step through the stages of the installation process and its application, in the Cikedokan Village environment, West Cikarang. The residents and Karang Taruna of Cikedokan Village hope that it will be necessary to hold it again to better understand and expedite the assembly of the CCTV camera installation.]]>

<![CDATA[Pedagogic competence as one of the competencies that must be owned by teachers needs to be constantly improved so that skills in managing classes become better. One of the efforts made is to take part in training on the use of visual aids as a bridge in delivering teaching materials. At the elementary school level, mathematics material requires learning media in the form of visual aids so that students are able to understand real mathematical concepts through concrete objects in the form of visual aids. The fact is that in the field the use of learning media is only for some basic material that is understood, so it is necessary to hold training on the use of mathematical teaching aids. This service activity aims to improve teacher skills in using learning media in the form of a corner clock teaching aid which is carried out in several stages, including preparation, implementation of training, and evaluation. After participating in this training, it can be concluded that the trainees understand and are skilled in using corner clock teaching aids and are highly motivated to develop their skills in using teaching aids in mathematics learning activities in class.]]>

<![CDATA[To anticipate the negative impacts of the development of information and communication technology, school-age children must be properly educated and guided, and equipped with religious activities that can instill morals and spirituality in children through the maghrib recitation movement which invites school-age children to fill the time between maghrib and isya with recitation activities at the mosque or musholla. The purpose of the maghrib recitation movement is to increase the motivation and interest of school-age children in reciting Qur’an as well as to revive and prosper the mosque with religious activities that can improve the religious quality of school-age children through the Qur’an learning assistance program, PAI tutoring, and religious literacy. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, documentation, and interviews. While the data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman analysis method where qualitative data analysis is carried out interactively and continues continuously until complete with data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of the maghrib recitation movement have a positive impact on increasing the ability of school-age children to recite Qur’an, to understand PAI lessons, and to have a high interest in religious literacy so that they can improve the religious quality of school-age children as a provision for the future.]]>

<![CDATA[Chemistry is not merely a science that only studies theory in class. Chemistry learning requires practical or experimental activities to observe and directly apply chemical concepts during face-to-face meetings in class. Meanwhile, the unavailability of laboratory facilities is one of the factors in not carrying out chemistry practice. This causes students difficulties in understanding the concept of chemistry as a whole and can potentially reduce learning motivation. This public service activity aims to implement the Hyperchem software for teachers and students of SMA Negeri 1 Mawasangka Timur as an alternative solution for chemistry labs in the form of electronic labs. The chemical topics selected and considered suitable for this type of practice were the structure and properties of chemical compounds. This activity is carried out in the form of a workshop. Workshop materials use lectures, simulations, discussions, and question-and-answer models. The activity's results showed the workshop participants' enthusiasm to use the Hyperchem software as a chemistry lab media. This is reflected in the evaluation of the workshop implementation, which is carried out by assessing the response of the workshop participants based on indicators of relevance, the ability of the presenters, ease of use, availability, and usefulness of the Hyperchem software. The evaluation results show that the workshop and the implementation of the Hyperchem software as an electronic practice media for visualizing the structure and properties of chemical compounds received a positive response from the workshop participants.]]>

<![CDATA[The preservation of Kompangan art is generally carried out in the original area of Jambi. The rapid development of settlements, especially in the central area of offices, trade and education, needs to be balanced with the development of local culture so that there is no shift in cultural values. In response to this, the Jambi University LPM through the implementing team provided assistance to the community in empowering the potential to preserve the Kompangan arts and culture of the Jambi region. The service method used is socialization and collaboration. From this service activity, the community's potential in preserving Kompangan art was obtained, namely (1) there was 19.23 per cent of children and adolescents were interested and 50 per cent were very interested in learning and practicing kompangan art; (2) availability of adequate trainers; (3) there is potential for financing sourced from community infaq and shodaqoh; (4) receive support both morally and materially from the community. From these various potentials, a Kompangan arts institution was formed in Mendalo Indah village with the name "Compangan Al Banna Group" as a place for fostering and training kompangan arts for children and adolescents.]]>

<![CDATA[The dedication activities in SD Negeri Cihanjuang 2 aimed to introduce students to animated learning videos they did not get before in class. Animation-based learning video contains whole-number four basic arithmetic operations consisting of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations. In addition, the activity also used the evaluation of Crossword Puzzle quizzes and images they commonly find in everyday life to help students visualize abstract mathematical problems. The target of this activity is students-class VI SD Negeri Cihanjuang 2, which has 23 students. The six stages carried out in this activity, namely the preparation stage, group division stage, delivery of material through animation-based video learning and emphasis on the concept of whole-number operations stage, giving the Crossword Puzzle quizzes stage, discussion stage, and evaluation stage. Based on the observations, many students showed interest and positive responses in listening and paying attention to learning videos and actively asking and discussing during solving quizzes and discussing topics.]]>

<![CDATA[The creative economy aims to develop small creative industries in the hope that an economic product produced can open up new markets and jobs. The development of a creative industry in one of the villages that has natural resource potential in the form of a bamboo forest which is still underutilized. The solution to the problem that we offer is to distribute woven bamboo products to cities or out of town, helping people produce goods made from woven bamboo that are more innovative, attractive, and modern so that woven bamboo products are not outdated and are no less interesting than other products made of metal, glass, so on. In addition to helping the village community regarding the sale of their woven products so that it is easier for the community to sell products other than to the only middlemen in the village, helping the community to earn income and providing satisfaction for the consumer.]]>
