Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of students' perceptions on the learning environment and vocabulary mastery of English speaking ability at Balaraja Private High School. The method used in this study is a survey with correlation and regression analysis, which is connecting data that shows the level of students' perceptions of the learning environment and vocabulary mastery with the ability to speak English in Balaraja Private High Schools. Sampling is done by random sampling technique. Total population of 806 with respondents in this study was 60 students. The research instruments used were questionnaires and multiple choice test questions. The results showed that: 1) there was a significant influence on students' perceptions of the learning environment and shared vocabulary mastery of the ability to speak English in private high school students in Kec. Balaraja, Banten. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig. 0,000 <0.05 and Fh = 14,160. Together, the perception of the learning environment and vocabulary mastery contributed 33.2% to the variable in English speaking ability. 2) There is a significant influence of perceptions on the learning environment on the ability to speak English in high school students in Kec. Balaraja, Banten. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig. 0.013 <0.05 and th = 2.578. Perception variable on learning environment contributed 14.32% in improving English speaking ability. 3) There was a significant influence on vocabulary mastery on English speaking ability of private high school students in Kec. Balaraja, Banten. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig. 0.003 <0.05 and th = 3.144. The vocabulary mastery variable contributed 18.90% in improving the ability to speak English.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effect of work-family conflict on job satisfaction through organizational commitment (affective, continuence, normative) as mediation. Data collection was done by simple random sampling to 215 population of woman employee in a packaging industry in Tangerang. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 170 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that work-family conflict have not significant effect on job satisfaction, work-family conflict have significant effect on organizational commitment (affective, continuence, normative), and organizational commitment (continuence and normative) have mediating effect on relationship between work-family conflict and job satisfaction, except affective commitment have not significant effect on job satisfaction. This new research proposed a model for building job satisfaction among woman employee of packaging industry in Tangerang through enhancing organizational commitment and by manage the work-family conflict. This research could pave the way to improve woman employee readiness in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Salah satu model kepemimpinan yang telah dikenal di antara khalayak adalah kepemimpinan demokratis. Pemimpin yang fleksibel, mampu menerima masukan dari anggota dengan posisi yang ada di bawahnya. Namum pemimpin tipe ini sulit jika usia pemimpin tersebut telah masuk usia tua atau madya. Ia sulit untuk menerapkan gaya pemimpin secara demokratis, karena dengan sifatnya yang egois mampu memengaruhi gaya kepemimpinannya. Dan bagi anggota muda mereka mudah menerima dengan adanya pemimpin yang lebih tua usianya, mereka masih membutuhkan banyak pengalaman dari seseorang yang lebih tua darinya.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is an Islamic movement, a daqwah amar ma'ruf nahi munkar movement and even a tajdid movement. Therefore, those who deserve to win Muhammadiyah are the ones who really determine the goals of K. Ahmad Dahlan to establish Muhammadiyah.Association in Muhammadiyah is charity and plays a total role with Islam and for Islam itself. Islam is a rule that covers all fields such as creed, worship, morals, justice, culture, art, science, love, law, power, work, wealth, politics, social, economy, as well as da'wah, jihad and thought. Understand that Al- The Quran is a reference for every Muslim to know Islamic law. Given the role of muhammdiyah as an Islamic movement that is so important and is associated with the emergence of the COVID-19 virus which has caused unrest in many countries around the world. COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered type of coronavirus. This new virus and the disease it caused was unknown before the outbreak in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. COVID-19 is now a pandemic that has occurred in many countries around the world. Including in Indonesia the spread is very fast.

This study aimed to measure the effect of organizational justice and transformational leadership on organizational commitment of the lecturers of a privat higher education institution in Tangerang which are mediated by intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction. Data collection was done by simple random sampling to 151 population of employees. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 102 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that organizational justice have a positive and significant effect on intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction. Intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Organizational justice have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction have a significant effect as mediator between organizational justice and organizational commitment. This new research proposed a model for building the organizational commitment among the lecturers of a privat higher education institution in Tangerang through enhancing organizational justice with intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction as a mediator. This research could pave the way to improve the lecturer readiness in facing the era of education 4.0.

Data collection was done by simple random sampling to 151 population of lecturers. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 102 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded: first, the dimensions of transformational leadership: idealized influence, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration have positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, except inspirational motivation. Second, the dimensions of transformational leadership: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, and individualized consideration have not significant effect on organizational commitment, except intellectual stimulation. Third, job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Fourth, the dimensions of transformational leadership: idealized influence, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration have positive and significant effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction as mediation, but inspirational motivation have not significant effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction as mediation. This study proposed a model for building the organizational commitment among the lecturers of a privat higher education institution in Tangerang through enhancing transformational leadership with job satisfaction as a mediator. This research could pave the way to improve the lecturer readiness in facing the era of education 4.0.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan survei dan bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menganalisis secara empiris pengaruh persepsi siswa atas pendekatan komunikatif terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris. Populasi terjangkau adalah siswa dari 2 sekolah di Bekasi, sebanyak 60 responden. Sampel penelitian diperoleh melalui metode simple random sampling yaitu peneliti mencampurkan subyek-subyek di dalam populasi sehingga semua subyek dianggap sama. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan melalui teknik korelasi dengan dua variabel yang terdiri dari variabel bebas, yaitu persepsi siswa atas pendekatan komunikatif serta variabel terikat, yaitu prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik kuesioner dan data sekunder untuk semua variabel. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi dan regresi linier berganda. Sebelum data dianalisis, terlebih dahulu dilakukan analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji persyaratan data (uji normalitas dan uji linieritas). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris dipengaruhi oleh persepsi siswa atas pendekatan komunikatif.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the efforts of parents of factory workers in guiding children's learning at home during the current Covid 19 pandemic. The emergence of the threat of a pandemic such as Covid 19 which affects all aspects of human life such as health, economy, social, environment, education that has hit and hit the lives of poor parents, schools are closed and causes children to learn from home which must sue parents to accompanying children's learning. The role of parents greatly affects the learning process of children. Support and guidance from parents can motivate children's enthusiasm for learning. In this research using qualitative descriptive research, because the qualitative descriptive method is a problem solving procedure that is observed by describing the condition of the subject and the object of the study. Data collection techniques in this study using observation techniques, interviews, documentation. Parental guidance is very important because it is a process of assistance provided by parents to their children by utilizing existing facilities in order to be able to solve various problems in their child's life.

Abstract

Setiap perusahaan membutuhkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi kemajuan perusahaan. Dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia yang ada, perusahaan tidak hanya membutuhkan kesejahteraan materi tetapi juga membutuhkan penguatan nilai-nilai spiritual yang telah menjadi strategi besar dalam kajian bisnis. Salah satu faktor penting dalam yang menentukan keberhasilan suatu perusahaan adalah kepemimpinan. Seorang pemimpin harus bisa membuat karyawannya dapat menerapkan atau meningkatkan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan dengan cara membangun spiritualisme di dalam diri seseorang guna untuk membangkitkan mental atau rohani berupa keyakinan, ideologi, pedoman atau tuntutan, iman dan etika tidak hanya merubah karakter dan perilaku karyawannya saja, salah satu upaya yang dilakukanseorang pemimpin untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawanperusahaanadalahdengan menerapkan gaya spiritual. Oleh karena itu, kepeimimpinan spiritual terhadap kinerja karyawan sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan.
