Abstract

This is evidenced by the results of the study, which showed differences in results, before and after the action was taken. That's why researchers try mind mapping methods to overcome them. This method is quite interesting, because it uses images created by students, which can be colored and decorated as students want and can come up with ideas in writing. The results of observation during the study, showed that students looked enthusiastic once the mind mapping method was introduced to be applied to writing. When doing any task, all can collect tasks. From the results of data processing, the percentage of mastery learning obtained in Cycle I was 39%, in Cycle II it was 100%,. These results indicate an increase in each cycle. Based on these results, the researcher suggests that MTs English teachers try to use the mind mapping method for learning aspects of writing as well as other aspects of learning. Researchers believe that exceptional student creativity will be seen in the results or mind mapping picture. Besides being able to foster creativity and interest, this method also contains various methods and can generate ideas.

Abstract

Reading is a window to the world, but the level of interest in reading in Indonesia is very low. This is exactly what encourages the writer to create a literacy program in schools in accordance with the GLS program that is required to be done. Reading and writing can reduce student problems and can even solve problems that are being faced by students. Students who are diligent in reading and writing will certainly have high discipline. In accordance with the vision and mission and the motto of SMP Negeri 3 Barusjahe, students are expected to be able to realize "MEKAR-BERSERI" that is to be Independent, Educative, Creative, Active and Clean Disciplined, Healthy, Neat and Beautiful. To measure the successful implementation of this GLS Program researchers used descriptive qualitative methods. The results of this study indicate that literacy in the scope of schools is the ability of a student to develop what students get from reading and writing so that students become more creative, productive, competitive, characterized, and nationalist and foster good character for students. In addition, by reading and writing students can increase obedience and compliance with school rules and regulations

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the program problems and extracurricular implementation in Langsa City High School. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The results showed that one of the problems of extracurricular activities at Langsa High School was that some students had not enjoyed the ideal extracurricular program offered and sought after. In extracurricular activities, there were diverse student disciplines, some of them were always absent, less enthusiastic about participating in activities. Extracurricular achievements have not been evenly distributed between high schools. Motivation and enthusiasm of students have not developed significantly. Not all high schools develop supporting factors for maximal extracurricular progress. Supervision and assessment have not been developed by the coach as a whole. Suggestions submitted are pleasing high schools in Langsa City, working together to develop quality programs and implementations for the development of students' interests and talents.

Abstract

This research departs from the background of the need for renewal in improving the creativity of teaching teachers in the PKN learning process in junior high schools in response to increasing the shortcomings of students learning. In learning activities, both in the process and learning products can improve understanding. It is expected that the teacher is able to play the role of an innovator of learning, increasing the creativity of teachers better developed. Abstract

The learning process will run well if it is supported by several things, including student discipline in school as the order, ethics, and norms that must be upheld to succeed the learning objectives. Educators must apply wisdom in choosing and using the most appropriate method. Among them there is enough by example and advice, so there is no need for punishment for him. But psychologically the students were not all the same, some of them also needed to be raped or punished, namely those who made mistakes. The assumption that has developed so far in society is that every mistake must be punished; God also punishes everyone who is guilty. From one logical path that theory has a point. It is logical, everyone who is guilty must be punished; every person who does good must be rewarded. Actually punishment does not always have to have a negative connotation which results in misery for the convicted but can also be positive.

Abstract

Meskipun menerapkan syari?at Islam, kota Langsa, melalui Universitas Samudera, mampu menjadi magnet baru bagi mahasiswa non muslim sebagai destinasi pendidikan di Aceh. Di sisi lain, sebagai minoritas, keberadaan mahasiswa non muslim itu sendiri perlu untuk lebih di dalami, baik itu dari segi keseharian atau pun dalam dunia perkuliahan, serta bagaimana bentuk-bentuk toleransi yang mereka terima selama ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bentuk-bentuk toleransi yang diterima mahasiswa non muslim dari dosen mata kuliah keagamaan, menjabarkan dampak toleransi terhadap keseharian mahasiswa non muslim serta mendeskripsikan relasi kuasa antara para dosen dan mahasiswa non muslim.. Penelitian ini berlangsung dari bulan Mei hingga Oktober 2019 dan melibatkan lima orang mahasiswa non muslim, dua orang dosen mata kuliah keagamaan dan seorang perwakilan otoritas kampus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis etnografi. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga metode yakni observasi (fieldnote), wawancara (open-ended questions) serta Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik reading, describing, and classifying. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa bentuk toleransi yang diberikan oleh dosen mata kuliah keagamaan terhadap mahasiswa non muslim yaitu; adanya opsi untuk tidak ikut ujian semester dan mengambil nilai dari gereja, diberikan kebebasan untuk mengerjakan tugas sesuai perspektif dan keyakinannya, serta diberikan hak bebas aktif dalam diskusi dan mengikuti pembelajaran. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa toleransi yang diterima mahasiswa non muslim memberikan kenyamanan dalam belajar dan berinteraksi dengan teman dan lingkungan tempat tinggal. Dan terakhir, meskipun dosen memiliki kuasa untuk menggiring mahasiswa non muslim ke arah Islamisasi, namun dosen keagamaan menjalankan tugasnya sebagai pendidik dengan professional, usaha islamisasi yang mereka lakukan adalah dengan cara yang sangat halus, berupa penjelasan yang benar mengenai Islam dan disertai dengan bukti-bukti kebenarannya. Tidak ditemukan cara-cara mencolok dan langsung oleh dosen mata kuliah keagamaan kea rah Islamisasi.

Abstract

In a number of junior high schools based on the Islamic boarding school in Lhokseumawe city do not have Arabic teachers with educational backgrounds according to their fields of expertise, this will affect the professionalism of teachers in teaching Arabic subjects. The purpose of this study was to explain the leadership style of  principal?s Junior High School (MTsS) in carrying out their duties, to descripe the professionalism of  Arabic  Junior high School (MTsS) teachers in carrying out their duties and to know the influence of principal leadership style on the professionalism of  Arabic Junior High School teachers in Islamic boarding school in Lhokseumawe City. The method used  is a survey method with a quantitative approach, the sample is 27 respondents. Data analyzes using simple linear regression. The results showed that 81% (22 teachers) favored the principal's leadership style and 70% (19 Arabic language teachers) were able to develop their professional competencies. Simple linear regression test results show the significance value for the influence of  X on Y is 9,308> 2,055, thus there is a significant influence of school leadership on the professionalism of Arabic MTsS Islamic boarding School teachers in Lhokseumawe, then H0is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the data analysis it was found that the performance of  the MTsS Islamic Boarding School principals in Lhokseumawe was already good, the majority of school principals understood their managerial duties in managing schools and directing Arabic language teachers to improve their competence, but the level of teachers professionalism was not it is only influenced by external factors (principal's leadership) but is also greatly influenced by internal factors such as self-motivation and teacher competencies.

Abstract

The problem on this study is that it is still lack of child creativity particularly in the arts. This can be seen from children who are not yet able to discriminate color and name color precisely as well as the use of less supportive game media in the development of child creativity. The purpose of the study was To figure out how to increase child art creativity through coconut amply collage games. The type of research used is qualitatively descriptive. Paud Al-Faiz's child research subject Paya Bujok Tunong Langsa numbered 10 group B children and research objects increased creativity through coconut dregs games. The instruments used on research through observation, interviews and documentation. As for the research results in this study that is, there is an increase in child art creativity while playing collage game. 90% of children who have started to be able to work on activities according to teacher intruction and are able to work according to indicators.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika pada sekolah dasar hendaknya menggunakan beberapa strategi pembelajaran, tujuannya adalah untuk memudahkan proses belajar mengajar. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal pada kelas IV MIN Peureulak menunjukkan bahwa siswa tidak mampu menghitung pecahan yang berpenyebut sama dan pecahan berpenyebut beda. Penggunaan strategi CTL ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung siswa dan untuk mengetahui aktivitas yang dilakukan siswa khususnya pada materi pecahan di kelas IV MIN Peureulak. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus pada siswa kelas IV/A. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan observasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan terhadap tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal pada siklus I berjumlah 42%. Pada siklus II meningkat mencapai 77%, serta terjadi peningkatan terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa yaitu pada siklus I berjumlah 73% dan pada siklus II meningkat mencapai 87%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran CTL dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung pecahan siswa serta dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada materi pecahan di kelas IV/A MIN Peureulak.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mengeksporasi Sejarah Pendidikan Islam telah berlangsung kurang lebih 14 abad yang telah lalu, yakni sejak nabi Muhammad diutus menjadi rasul. Pada awalnya pendidikan berlangsung secara sederhana, dengan masjid sebagai pusat proses pembelajaran, Alquran dan Hadis sebagai kurikulum utama Rasulullah sendiri berperan sebagai guru dalam proses pendidikan tersebut, tetapi setelah Rasulullah wafat Islam terus berkembang sampai ke ujung jazirah Arab. Lembaga pendidikan Islam merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam mencapai keberhasilan proses pendidikan, karena lembaga berfungsi sebagai mediator dalam mengatur jalannya proses pendidikan. Dewasa ini tampaknya tidak bisa disebut pendidikan apabila tidak ada lembaganya. Karena pendidikan memainkan peran sentral dalam Islam. Ilmu menjadi tulang punggung (backbone) ajaran Islam. Lebih dari 800 ayat Alquran menyebut, menyinggung atau membahas tentang pentingnya keilmuan. Sekedar perbandingan, hanya 90 ayat Alquran yang membahas tentang fiqh atau ilmu hukum Islam. Pendidikan Islam, sangatlah erat hubungannya dengan lembaga-lembaga pendidikan karena suatu pendidikan Islam meliki lembaga yang membantu. Lembaga pendidikan Islam adalah wadah atau tempat berlangsungnya proses pendidikan Islam yang bersamaan dengan proses pembudayaan, dan itu dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga.
