Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam bidang studi IPA, kegiatannya dilaksanakan dalam proses pembelajaran, dengan memaksimalkan keaktifan siswa, guru hanya sebagai fasilitator dan motifator. Dalam pembelajaran guru menggunakan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif. Siswa diharapkan memiliki aktifitas belajar yang tinggi sehingga segala kesulitan yang di hadapi siswa dapat teratasi. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitiannya kelas VII4.  Adapun data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan nilai tes dan observasi. Dari hasil kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan dan berdasarkan pembahasan serta analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif memiliki dampak positif yaitu dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa yang ditandai dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam siklus I 6 siswa atau 22,22 % yang tuntas dan pada siklus dua diperoleh nilai siswa yang berhasil tuntas sesuai dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM 70) sebesar  25 siswa atau 92,59 %. Maka dapat disimpulkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan Strategi Belajar Aktif  pada siswa kelas VII ? 4 di MTs Negeri Langsa tahun pelajaran 2013/2014.

Abstract

Kehidupan keluarga tidak terlepas dari sistem nilai yang ada dalam masyarakat yaitu agama, adat istiadat, nilai-nilai sosial, dan nilai-nilai kesakralan keluarga. Dimana sistem nilai tersebut sering mengalami degradasi, misalnya degradasi agama yaitu pada saat ini banyak umat yang kurang taat beribadah sebagaimana diperintahkan oleh agamanya. Untuk kondisi keluarga modern sendiri mempunyai ciri utama kemajuan dan perkembangan di bidang pendidikan, ekonomi, dan pergaulan. Dalam keluarga ada kalanya mengalami krisis maksudnya kehidupan keluarga dalam keadaan kacau, tak teratur dan terarah, antara suami istri tidak harmonis, kadangkala orang tua kehilangan kewibawaan untuk mengendalikan anak-anaknya, kondisi seperti ini sering terjadi dalam keluarga modern saat ini. disebabkan mereka tidak begitu paham dengan makna berkeluarga itu sendiri, dalam keluarga tidak hanya finansial, semata yang dibutuhkan tapi lebih dari pada itu juga keharmonisan, saling menghargai keterbukaan, saling menjaga dan saling menghormati sehingga terciptalah keluarga yang sesuai dengan ketentuan-ketentuan agama. Oleh karena itu keluarga merupakan kelompok terkecil dalam sebuah tatanan masyarakat. Keluarga yang baik adalah awal dari masyarakat yang sejahtera. Sebaliknya, keluarga yang amburadul adalah pertanda hancurnya sebuah masyarakat. Keluarga-keluarga yang harmonis akan mewujudkan masyarakat yang aman dan damai. Mengingat begitu pentingnya peranan keluarga dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang baik dan sejahtera, maka Islam memberikan perhatian yang sangat besar bagaimana mengelola sebuah keluarga yang sakinah, mawaddah, warrahmah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui implementasi strategi pembelajaran mastery learning with quiz team, dan (2) mengetahui ketuntasan belajar siswa melalui implementasi strategi pembelajaran mastery learning with quiz team. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dikelas IV SD Negeri Sukarejo Kecamatan Langsa Timur dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 17 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan terhadap tes hasil belajar, aktivitas guru dan siswa, Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan : (1) implementasi strategi pembelajaran mastery learning with quiz team dapat meningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran  matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan pada siklus I sebesar 58.82%, siklus II 76.47%, dan pada siklus III sebesar 88.23%, dan (2) ketuntasan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan terhadap pembelajaran matematika sebesar 29.41%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan melalui penggunaan strategi pembelajaran mastery learning with quiz team pada siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri Sukarejo Langsa. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, maka disarankan guru matematika SD Negeri Sukarejo Langsa mengajarkan pecahan melalui strategi pembelajaran mastery learning with quiz team. Hal ini dapat dipahami karena terbukti dalam penelitian ini, strategi pembelajaran mastery learning with quiz team dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan.

Abstract

This article has a purpose to discuss about character building for students in elementary level by developing positive attitude and positive opinion towards mathematics. Indonesian government today continuously has tried to improve the quality of education by revising curriculum to all levels of education starting from elementary school to senior high school. The new implemented curriculum focus on the implementation of character which is integrated with all school subjects including mathematics. Character building at elementary level becomes main concern by all people because the main focus at elementary level is more on building good attitude rather than on knowledge and skill. This paper describes about on how to develop performance character and mathematics positively which includes confidence, positive view towards mathematics, improve students? patience, improve student?s competence, praise for the student?s effort, develop student?s cleverness and gives motivation. By developing performance character and mathematics positivity could create an effective mathematics class, improve student?s behavior, avoid student?s constrain in learning mathematics and enhance student?s interest in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Understanding the concept is a benchmark students can proceed to the next stage in the learning process and the stage of thinking Van Hiele is a good solution to direct students to the actual concept of geometry. Stages of thinking Van Hiele specializes in teaching geometry. There are three main elements in teaching geometry, namely time, teaching material, and the teaching methods applied. If the three elements are arranged in an integrated manner, they will be able to improve students' thinking abilities to the higher stages of thinking. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in understanding of the geometrical concepts of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Langsa through the Van Hiele thinking stage. This research was classified into quasi-experimental research. This study uses a One Group Pretest-Posttest Desaign research design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Langsa. Samples were taken using simple random sampling technique and students of class VIII I were selected as sample classes. The instrument of this study is the ability to understand concept tests. This test was arranged in the form of a description consisting of 6 questions. From the results of the calculation of the percentage understanding of students' geometrical concepts showed an increase of 48%. The results of data analysis obtained that count> t table is 12.59> 2.08, this means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in understanding of students' geometry concepts through the stages of van hiele thinking at SMP Negeri 8 Langsa.   Keywords: Stages of thinking Van Hiele, Ability to understand concepts and Geometry.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to explain how education that understands the uniqueness of each student in individual learning or individual instruction. This writing method uses a descriptive analysis approach from a number of literatures from journals, books and other documents. There are four aspects of individual differences that must be considered by teachers and principals in a teaching and learning process that includes physical-motor differences, intelligence differences, differences in language skills, and psychological differences. Understanding individual differences here is by carrying out individualized instruction (individual learning). Also provides opportunities for children to learn independently (Independent Study) by developing individual learning (individual instruction) in accordance with the level of their needs.

Abstract

Education has a strategic role in the human resources development. There are many things that have being done to improve the quality of education. Because of that, it needs an expedient to increase the profesionalism of teacher, in this case, one of them is the Islamic religion teacher. Increasing prifesionalism of  Islamic religion teacher is through in-service and on-service training. This reseacrh disscusses on-service training through MGMP in the order to see , doing and evaluating the program of training by MGMP forum. This reseacrh uses kwalitatif approach with descriptive analysis and collecting the data through interview, observation and documentation. The result from this reseacrh shows that MGMP program has made in the early year of teaching and arranged based on guidence book and according to the needs. In the program inserts the activity to increase the profesionalism of teacher like filosofy-threority of Islamic religion teaching, text type (genre base), curriculum systematical and syllabus development, lesson plan arrangment, scientific writing development and classroom action research. Doing once a week and guided by the instructor, use discussion method, answer guestion, problem solving and teaching simulation. The evaluation process was doing by seeing the attendent list, observation, evaluation program and meeting of the teachers that was done by the head of MGMP, prinsipal and supervisor.

Abstract

This paper contains the psychology orientation of Islamic education. Each education level is different in how to educate and how to overcome the problems that occur, the age of the kindergarden is different from elementary school age, as well as elementary schools are different teaching systems with secondary schools, and also level schools. middle school is different in how to teach and how to deal with the problem with upper level schools. All levels have a phase that must be passed as an educator, if the wrong application results in misorientation, or lose direction. So that education is only a formality without any spirit that shapes the ethics of students to become human beings who are desired by Islamic education itself. The success of education depends on the initial orientation of the establishment of an educational institution. Where students will be taught at the institution. There is a lot of moral degradation in education because the empty psychology orientation of Islamic education in educational institutions, if there is an Islamic name is only a label without content, if from the beginning the educational institution has lost its orientation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes after being taught with the question and answer method. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach and the type of research is classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles. Data analysis uses comparative descriptive analysis techniques by comparing initial conditions with the results achieved in each cycle and qualitative descriptive analysis of observations and reflections in the first cycle and second cycle. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII-1 MTs Negeri Langsa with a total of 36 students in the class. Based on this study it can be concluded that there is an increase in the ability of students to master the material of the human circulatory system by using the question and answer method in the State of Langsa State in 2015/2016. Improved student learning outcomes can be seen in the tabulation of the data obtained, namely the first cycle of 10 students (27.78%) who completed and 26 students (72.22%) did not complete. Then in Cycle II there were 35 students (97.2%) complete and 1 student (2.8%). incomplete. On this occasion the researcher wanted to give some suggestions to be conveyed as follows: The need to use methods when providing subject matter so that students are easy and the learning process becomes fun.

Abstract

Data obtained in this study include: student learning outcomes taken from giving daily test questions given at the end of the cycle, the ability of teachers in learning taken from the observation sheet, student activities in learning taken from the observation sheet, and data about student reflection on lessons learned from the questionnaire at the end of each meeting. Indicators of success in this study are: (1) if ? 70% of the total students are categorized as complete with the criteria of completion of learning if the value of the evaluation results in cycles I and II, ? 70, (2) if student activities in learning ? 70% are measured by look at the student observation sheet. The results of the study in the first cycle showed the average value of student learning outcomes of 65.29 and the percentage of mastery learning at 58.82%. Student activity 61.36%, percentage of teacher ability 68.33%. While the results of research in the second cycle the average value of student learning outcomes by 75.88 and the percentage of mastery learning by 88.24%. Student activity 84.09%, and the percentage of teacher ability by 85%. From this study it was concluded that using the NHT learning model could improve the learning outcomes of chemistry and class X.1 student activities in semester II of the 2014/2015 academic year on the subject matter of nomenclature of compounds and reaction equations.
