Abstract

Chili Rawit Hiyung is one of the typical Chili Pepper in South Kalimantan province which is located in the village of Hiyung, Tapin Tengah District, Tapin Regency. This Hiyung Rwit Chili has been registered with the Plant Variety Protection Center and Agricultural Licensing of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia with Number 09 / PLV / 2012 dated 12 April 2012 as a Local Chili Variety by the name of Chili Rawit Hiyung. Mycorrhiza is a symbiotic association between certain fungal myceliums and high levels of plant roots. mycorrhizae have the ability to associate with almost 90% of plants consisting of agricultural, plantation, forestry, and feed crops and help increase efficiency in absorption of nutrients, especially phosphorus on marginal land. The study also had the objective of knowing the effect of mycorrhizal administration and mycorrhizal dose on vegetative growth with hiyung cayenne pepper carried out at the Wahana Borneo Institute of North Loktabat Experimental Garden, Banjarbaru using a one-factor Randomized Design (RBD), namely four mycorrhizal treatments (ie Controls, MK1, MK2, MK3 and MK4). The mycorrhizal dose given is 10 g / po; ybag, 20 g / polybag, 30 g / polybag and 40 g / pilybag. From this study the results showed that the administration of mycorrhizae had a very significant effect on the number of flowers, but did not significantly affect plant height, leaf width and many leaves.

Abstract

Edamame  is included  category vegetable plants (green soybean vegetable) with high economic value and has a fairly good nutrient content for body health. However, soybean production, especially edamame plants in the Banjarbaru area is still minimal so the potential for the development of edamame plants is very large in the South Kalimantan region, especially the Banjarbaru area. As for one way to increase the production of edamame plants by fertilizing. The use of fertilizers is divided into 2 types, namely inorganic and organic fertilizers. The provision of inorganic fertilizers is easy to do with the right amount, but the price of inorganic fertilizers is currently still relatively expensive, so it will increase production costs. Based on the above, the use of organic fertilizers can be a solution to increase the production of cheap and environmentally friendly edamame plants by utilizing cricket manure waste. During this time cricket droppings have not been fully utilized by cricket farmers. Taking into account the factor of fertilizer prices and waste from cricket manure, fertilizer from cricket droppings is raised which is expected to be an alternative to organic fertilizer. This study aims to determine the effect of cricket manure and the effect of multiple doses on the growth and yield of edamame plants. This research was conducted in March to June 2019 in the Kebonan Mas Untung Field, Gunung Kupang Cempaka, Banjarbaru South Kalimantan. The design used is a completely randomized design (RBD) of one factor, namely the dose of fertilizer. The results showed that the application of cricket manure had a significant effect on pod wet weight, plant height and number of leaves. The best dose in increasing plant height, number of leaves and wet weight of pods was K2 treatment 5 tons / ha.

Abstract

Soybean production in Indonesia still relatively low, even though the demand for soybean in every year has increased with increasing growth population, however the demand for soybeans is unable to balance domestic production, so it must be imported in a huge amount (Ohorella, 2011). To increase soybean production is certainly not always dependent in using of chemicals, by using suitable plant spacing can reduce the growth of pests naturally, natural enemies of pests also play a role in suppressing the growth of pests, therefore it is necessary to set different of plant spacing to knowing the best spacing for suppresing pests naturally. The purpose of this research was to determine the types of pests and natural enemies in the generative period of soybean plants and to determine the effect of different spacing on pest and natural enemies diversity. This research use Randomized Block Design (RAK) 1 Factor with 5 types of treatment spacing (20 x 20 cm, 20 x 30 cm, 20 x 40 cm, 20 x 50 and 20 x 60 cm) and 5 replications so that there are 25 experimental units. The results showed that plant spacing significantly affected pest diversity, but did not significantly affect the diversity of natural enemies, in this research, the best plant spacing to suppress pest growth was treatment with a spacing of 20 x 30 cm.

Abstract

The low national chili production often makes the supply of chili in the market limited. Utilization of cow urine as a liquid organik fertilizer is useful as an addition to the nutrient elements of chilli plants and other plants is also done to reduce excessive cow manure which can cause problems for the environment because of increasing farm business. In this study the application of liquid organik fertilizer of cow urine was applied with a simple drip system using a dropper carried out continuously during the planting period.Thisstudyaims to determinethe effect of giving a dose of liquidorganic fertilizer of cow urine as a source of nutrition in a simple drip system and to knowing the best dose of cow organic fertilizer for growthandyield ofcayenne pepper (Capsicum Frutescens L).  The method used in this study uses anexperimental methodwith a single form of randomized complete design (CRD). The factors to be examined arethe concentrationof liquidorganicfertilizer from cow's urine, namely P0 = control, P1 = 35 ml of cow urine / 1 liter of water, P2 = 70 ml of cow urine / 1 liter ofwater, P3 = 105 ml of cow urine / 1liter ofwater and P4 = 140 ml of cow urine / 1 liter of water.  Variety analysis shows providing liquid organic fertilizer (POC) had a significant effect on plant height, number of plant branch books, number of fruit crops, weight of fruit crops and biomass. The conclusion obtained is the provision of treatment P3 = 105 ml of cow urine / 1 liter of water can provide good and efficient results and a simple drip irrigation system can maximize nutrient absorption in fertilizers by cayenne pepper plants.

Abstract

PGPR is a group of active bacteria colonized plant roots and well developed that is rich in organic material. This research was conducted in the laboratory of plant pathology greenhouse in the Faculty of Agriculture University of gastric Mangkurat Banjarbaru, which funded in May–August 2018. From the experiment there are five treatment four times and repeats. The treatment is A: Bacillus isolate: Marabahan, B: Bacillus isolate Kandangan, C: Bacillus isolate, Barabai, D: isolate Bacillus-Banjarbaru pelaihari, E: control (no Bacillus). Results of the study showed rice was given the inoculation with Bacillus spp. shows the number of saplings, plant height, wet weight of the plantlets, productive plants and plant dry weight was higher if compared with rice not applicable isolate Bacillus spp. isolates showed these Bacillus spp. were able to spur the growth of the rice plant.

Abstract

Onion plant are horticultural commodities and include spices, these vegetables are used every day as a complement to spices to increase the taste and enjoyment of food. The increasing consumption of onion must be balanced with increased production. One way is to give liquid organic fertilizer hump and kepok banana peel. Hump and kepok banana peel contain nutrients that have the potentiali to be used as food sources so that microbes are well developed and have nutrient and nutrient content in them. Theiresearch aim knowing influence of the type material and dosage of liquid organic fertilizer hump and kepok banana peel on the growth and results of onion plant. Research design Factorial Completely Randomized Nested Design consisting of 2 factors, factor A type of material there are 2 types, namely a1 = hump and a2 = peel, factor B dosage is 5 levels, b0 = control, b1 = 50, b2 = 100, b3 = 150 and b4 = 200 ml.Plant-1. The type of material liquid organic fertilizer hump and kepok banana peel did not have an effect on all observations, but the dosage liquid organic fertilizer hump and kepok banana peel had an effect on plant height aged 21, 28 and 35 hst, the number of leaves aged 21 and 28 hst and number of tillers aged 28,,42 and 55 hst. The best dosage of the type material hump in plant height aged 21, 28 and 35 hst, the number of leaves aged 21 hst and the number of tillers aged 28 hst and the type material peel material in plant height aged 28 hst and the number of tillers aged 28 and 42 hst dosage is 100 ml.plant-1. The best dosage of the type material in the number of leaves aged 28 hst and number of tillers aged 42 and 55 hst and the type material peel material in plant height aged 21 and 35 hst, numberi of leaves aged 21  hst and number of tillers aged 55 hst dosage is 50 ml.plant-1.

Abstract

Compost is a term for human processed organic fertilizers made from a process of decaying remains of living things (plants and animals). The process of making composter is divided into aerobes and anaerobes which support each other in certain environmental conditions, which as a whole is called decomposition (Yuwono, 2006). Hiyung cayenne (Capsicum spp) is a local cayenne pepper from Hiyung village, Tapini Tengah i sub-district, Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan. This study aims to determine growth response and i determine i the i most appropriate dose i for i growth i of i the i vegetative phase of Hiyung cayenne (Capsicum spp.). This research was conducted in experimental park of Wahana Kalimantan Institute, Loktabat Utara, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, from June until October 2018. This i study i used i was Randomized i Complete i Block i Design i (RCBD) of one i factor i consisting i of i 5 (five) treatments and 5 (five) repetitions to obtain 25 experimental units. The treatment used; T0: Without compost, TK1: 20 tons i ha-1 trichokomps, TK2: 30 tons i ha-1 trichocompos, BK1: 20 tons i ha-1 biodecompost, and i BK2: 30 tons i ha-1 biodecompost with observed variables, plant i height i, leaf width, number of branche and age of flower. The results i showed i that i on the observation of plant height, leaf width and i number i of branches in the administration of dose treatment TK1, TK2, BK1 and BK2 significantly different from the control treatment (T0. While the observation of flowering age showed that flowering age by giving TK1 treatment was significantly different from the control treatment (T0) but not significantly different from other treatments, namely TK2, BK1 and BK2. Giving doses of trichocompost and biodecompost as much as 20 tons ha-1 and 30 tons ha-1 did not give a different influence on the vegetative growth of Hiyung chili plants. This means that both the use of trichocompost and biodecompost can be applied to chili plants with only a dose of 20 tons ha-1.

Abstract

Shallot is a horticulture plant that is best known to the public because it has a very important meaning in life, one of which is as a kitchen spice or a complete spice. One effort that can be done to increase shallot production is by cultivating shallots varieties that are in accordance with climatic and soil conditions and by applying organic fertilizers in order to reduce the high price of shallots in the market. Organic fertilizers are developed in order to create quality fertilizers that are able to restore land productivity and can reduce the application of chemical or synthetic fertilizers. The purposeeof this study wasnto determine the effectiveness of giving several types of organicnfertilizers to the growthnandnyield of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). This research was conducted using one factor randomized block design (RBD), which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely P1: control; P2: organic fertilizer based on chicken manure 2 kg / plot; P3: organic fertilizer made from cow dung 2 kg / plot; and P4: organic fertilizer made from water hyacinth 2 kg / plot. The results of this study indicate that there is effectiveness in the treatment by providing several types of organic fertilizers made from chicken manure (P2), cow manure (P3), and water hyacinth (P4) which have a significant effect on plant height, leaf number, and wet weight tuber on red onion plants, and the results obtained that fertilizer made from chicken manure are better organic fertilizers to increase the growthnandnproduction of shallots.

Abstract

PGPR is biological product which it has functions as growth improved, nutrition provided, pest control and it can be plant growth acceleration. Chicken manure is an organic fertilizer which it can improving soil fertility and it can be plant growth acceleration. Ultisols is a easier erosion soils, therefore it has less of an organic matter and nutrition. Soybean is one of foodstuff which always increasing of necessary year by year. The pupose of this research was knowing an interaction of the treatments and the best treatments of PGPR and chicken manure towards growth and yield of soybean which planted on ultisols soil of Batakan. This research was using Split Plot Design two factor of treatments. First factor is PGPR concentration (J) as the main of plot, it has 4 levels there is control (J0), 7,5 ml PGPR/l of water (J1), 15 ml PGPR/l of water (J2) and 22,5 ml PGPR/l of water (J3) and the second factor is chicken manure (H) as the sub plot, it has 3 levels there is control (H0), 10 t/ha-1 (60 g of soybean) (H1) and 20 t/ha-1 (120 g of soybean) (H2). This research showed all of variable has not interaction between PGPR and chicken manure. The best treatment of PGPR is on 15 ml/l of water concentration (J2) towards plant’s height and towards harvest age. While, on treatment of chicken manure 20 t/ha-1 (H2) is the best dosage of plant height, root nodus, pods of plant and 100 of seeds weight.

Abstract

Cayenne pepper by including the horticulture and fruit very popular community.The research was carried out in a site faculty agriculture, Kel. Big river, Kec .Banjarbaru south in July 2018 - November 2018. Research in flats in the design environmental factors random complete singular to 6 standard 4 times test. Treatment consisting of : without fertilizer (s0), 100 % chicken cages (s1), 75 % chicken cages + 25 % bokashi is siam weed (s2), 50 % chicken cages + 50 % bokashi is siam weed (s3), 25 % chicken cages + 75 bokashi is siam weed (s4), 100 % bokashi is siam weed (s5).The results showed the subtitusi manure chicken + bokashi kirinyuh influential real against tall plant at the age of 42 days.Trunk diameter at the age of 28 days, 35 day, 42 days, flowering age, the number of fruit per plants, heavy 100 seeds, the yield of fruit per plants and the per hectare. But it does not affect tall plant at the age of 14 days, 21 days, 28 days, 35 day, trunk diameter at the age of 14 ha
