Dinamika Bahari merupakan jurnal berkala bidang nautika, teknika dan tata laksana angkutan laut dan kepelabuhanan yang dimiliki Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Semarang yang terbit 2 kali setahun, yaitu pada bulan Mei dan Oktober. Dinamika Bahari memuat hasil penelitian, ide, dan gagasan dosen, pengajar, taruna, peneliti serta akademisi di bidang transportasi laut. Dinamika Bahari terbuka bagi masyarakat umum yang ingin mempelajari hasil-hasil penelitian para dosen atau penulis lainnya. Masyarakat juga bisa bergabung menjadi penulis (sebagai akademisi), atau menjadi reviewers sesuai dengan bidang keilmuan masing-masing yang dibutuhkan oleh jurnal ini.

Abstract

Optimized CFS warehouse for stripping stuffing activities of LCL container goods, however, because PT. Teluk Lamong Terminal wants to reduce the Dwelling Time figure so that the stripping stuffing activity of LCL containers is not carried out in the CFS warehouse. Then, because there were no activities in the CFS warehouse, PT. Teluk Lamong Terminal utilizes the CFS Warehouse for container physical inspection activities (behandle). This study aims to determine the CFS warehouse facilities that can support the behandle process, determine the factors that affect the behandle process and determine the efforts that can be made to overcome the limitations of the CFS warehouse facilities during the behandle process.Researchers use qualitative descriptive methods to describe and describe the object under study. Researchers are involved in the process of searching for data by directly observing and analyzing the facts and characteristics of the object and subject under study. Sources of data used in this study are primary and secondary data. In addition, this study also uses data collection methods by means of observation, interviews, documentation, literature study. Researchers use direct and indirect observation. The results of the study concluded that the CFS warehouse facility could be used to support the behandle process at PT. Lamong Bay Terminal Surabaya. However, the physical inspection was not fully carried out in the warehouse area because the warehouse building design was not suitable for inspection activities so that the behandle was carried out outside the warehouse area and then loaded the cargo into the warehouse using a forklift. Factors that hinder behandle activities include Internal & External Factors. Efforts that can be made to optimize behandle activities are by renovating warehouses, preparing supporting facilities for inspection of goods, and preparing competent human resources.

Abstract

The empty container depot business activity is basically a service for loading and unloading activities (loading and unloading) or export and import activities carried out by exporters and importers, especially in Central Java. The purpose of this study is to determine the management of activities carried out in an empty container depot in the operation of loading and unloading empty containers at the container depot. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method, by conducting field surveys, interviews with actors, discussions, and reviewing related literature. The strategy for the quality of empty container loading and unloading services is no less important than other operational services such as trucking, shipping, forwarding, and others. The skills and skills of human resources and equipment in maintaining and repairing container loading and unloading equipment must be continuously developed.

Abstract

This research is primarily aimed at improving the main service system in public ports regarding shipping of goods, ship documents and cargo documents. It maps the service quality dimension to a new set of service characteristics based on the current priorities of the people's shipping companies. Data collected through surveys of public shipping companies and public ports are regressed in the Linear Regression model. The results show that the top two service characteristics that affect customer satisfaction are (1) the quality of the customer service representatives, (2) the quality of digitization and (3) the quality of the sales representatives in that order. This research also shows that the ability to improve the operational system is not in accordance with the standard operating procedures applicable at Tambak Lorok Port, Semarang.

Abstract

Current weather conditions undergo a very significant change, given that it does not rule out the possibility that there are still many captains often trapped in bad weather areas even though the navigation system is quite adequate, this is due to the fact that there are still many captains not paying attention to weather news in the form of weather charts that show bad weather areas and sunny weather areas. For this reason the captain needs to learn, knowing the symbols of bad weather areas is expected to not get stuck in sailing in bad weather areas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the causes or factors that can trigger or lead to false alarms, ways to reduce them, determine the design of the alarm system that is applied, and determine the factors so that the fire system can operate optimally on board the ship. The type of research that the author presents is a descriptive type of research with a quantitative approach. Data retrieval was obtained from distributing questionnaires, interviews, and observations of locations and related crew at MV with the data obtained during the Sailing Practice. Ocean Makmur. Research location on the MV. Ocean Makmur. The results showed the cause of the false alarm on the MV. Ocean Makmur, it can be seen that the lack of input or voltage that is less than 20VDC, as well as the infrequent Routine Test (per-unit), and the lack of awareness of the crew itself is the cause of the false alarm. We should anticipate this with our care at work and awareness in our activities.

Abstract

This Research aim to to test and analyse training influence to instructor interest in Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang. To test and analyse influence motivate to instructor interest of Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang. Intake of sample use census technique that is all population made as sample so that the amount of sample counted 106 people. As for data obtained with kuesioner with data analysis use linear regression. Pursuant to research which have been done by hence can be obtained by the following conclusion of Training have an effect on to interest. Motivation have an effect on to interest. Training have an effect on to instructor performance. Motivation have an effect on to instructor performance. Interest have an effect on to instructor performance. Abstract

ABSTRACTSteam boiler is a closed vessel that can produce hot steam with the pressure of more thanone atmosphere by heating the water within it. Water in the process greatly affect thecondition of the kettle, so the quality must always be maintained. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The dataanalysis technique used SWOT method to analyze the factors causing the decreasing of waterquality of boiler and the effort made to overcome these factors by identifying the strengths,weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that water boiler degradation iscaused by: 1) Distilled water not yet widely available on board is caused by leakage ofevaporator pipe on FWG and mechanical seal damage at distillation pump. 2) Freshwaterconditions from land are not eligible for boiler water. To overcome these factors, it isnecessary to check to determine which pipe is leaking, patching the leaking pipe using acopper plug, opening and closing the inlet valve and evaporator outlet slowly to avoidthermal shock, mechanical seal replacement of the distillation pump, and testing the boilerwater , addition of chemical dosing and water boiler blowdown.

Abstract

PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) branch of Tanjung Emas Semarang is a BUMN provider of port services. One of the services provided is the operation of ships at the port, such as loading and unloading activities. One of the loading and unloading activities is loading and unloading product oil at the liquid bulk dock. During the loading and unloading process of product oil, several obstacles or disruptions may occur which cause delays during the loading and unloading process, thus reducing the performance of the Port Business Entity. This study aims to determine the inhibiting factors originating from labor and other factors and to determine the efforts to overcome these obstacles. The method of data collection was carried out by observation or direct observation at the location for 3 months, interviews, and literature study. The results showed that the inhibiting factor of labor resulted in less optimal loading space and tank washing. In addition, the inhibiting factor also comes from damage to loading and unloading supporting equipment and bad weather conditions. This study provides recommendations for each inhibiting factor to be handled properly according to the procedure so that it is expected to provide positive results, namely the smooth loading of product oil at the liquid bulk dock of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Semarang branch of Tanjung Emas.

Abstract

Semarang Merchant Marine Polytechnic (PIP Semarang) is a university that provides vocational education in the field of shipping. The high voltage laboratory is a means of supporting the practice of electrical equipment on board a ship based on a high voltage of 6.6 Kv. Based on the results of the researchers' preliminary observations and observations, it is known that the use of the high voltage laboratory during the 2019 school year is very minimal, namely 25.5 hours for 1 year. The purpose of this study is to see the use of the high voltage laboratory at PIP Semarang, what security is used in the use of the high voltage laboratory at PIP Semarang, and the efforts made to overcome the problems used in the use of the high voltage laboratory at PIP Semarang. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method. Data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires to cadets. In addition, interviews were also conducted with Engineering Study Program lecturers. Secondary data obtained from literature study, observation and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be denied that the use of the high voltage laboratory at PIP Semarang is still not optimal and effective. This can be proven by the results of the questionnaire recapitulation showing that the use of the high voltage laboratory is 32% very effective, 4% effective, 60% less effective, and 4% ineffective.

Abstract

The performance system at the container terminal at Semarang Container Terminal (SCT) is not yet good, it can be seen from the average dwelling time which is still long. Dwelling time optimization needs to be done in order to get a balance of projected increases during trading and to compensate for the various limitations of terminal facilities and infrastructure. One of them is the container handling procedure using an application, namely the cost terminal operating system application. With the qualitative descriptive method, the dwelling time and container handling procedures will be explained using a cost terminal operation system application and the quantitative method is used to find out how much use is in the presence of a vehicle terminal using the formula. There is a very significant positive effect of dwelling time on Port revenue. The long dwelling time is due to several factors, such as high volume / import demand which causes queues during the inspection procedure, 24-hour system inability to perform inspection procedures, weather conditions, and importer readiness. By implementing this system there will be an acceleration of the dwelling time so that Beneficial to importers and the impact caused by container dwelling time after using the cost terminal operation system application is that the waiting time can be reduced.
