Abstract

PT. Multi Artha Universindo Medan is a company engaged in the sale of socks of Mundo Brand. In its operation, the selling of socks Mundo brand decreased because customers decided not to buy goods at the company. The problems was caused by the bad distribution channels and the lack of service quality. The theories used in this research are those relating to Marketing Management, which deals with distribution channels, service quality, and purchase decisions. This research used quantitative approach. This is a quantitative descriptive research. The nature of this research is descriptive explanatory. Population and sample in this research were 123 regular customers of PT. Multi Artha Universindo Medan totaling 123 customers. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and documentation study. The data source of this research were primary and secondary data. The coefficient of determination showed that Adjusted R Square is 0.204 which means that 20.4% of customers purchase decision variable variation can be explained by variations in the distribution channels and the variable quality of service and the remaining 80.6% was affected by other factors not examined such as advertising, service quality, etc. The result of the hypothesis revealed that the distribution channel partially has a significant effect on purchase decisions of customers at PT. Abstract

The success of a development is synonymous with the creation of the rate of economic development and the high absorption of labor. One of the real sectors that can reduce unemployment is micro, small and medium enterprises or often abbreviated as MSMEs. In MSME activities, MSME actors must master good financial management to ensure effective financial management. The research consists of independent variables namely financial knowledge (X1) and financial behavior (X2), the dependent variable is the effectiveness of financial management (Y). The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the influence of knowledge and financial behavior on the development of MSMEs in. The benefits of the research are as input in improving the development of MSMEs, and as one of the requirements in the selection process for admission to the USU Faculty of Economics's Doctor of Management Science Program. This research was conducted in North Sumatra, the approach used in this study was a survey approach, the type of research was quantitative descriptive research, the nature of the research was explanatory research, the population in this study were MSMEs in North Sumatra, namely 2,857,124 MSMEs. the number of research samples is 400 respondents taken randomly by using the Slovin formula, 30 respondents used for valid tests and real tests taken outside the study sample. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews (interviews), questionnaires, and decomme. This study uses the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program with a multiple regression equation as follows: Sub Model: Y = a + b1X1 + b2X2 e. F value calculated = 17,015> F table = 3.02 and significance probability 0,000 <0,05, then H1 is accepted, meaning that financial knowledge and behavior simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the development of MSMEs. The value of t count> t table or 3,633> 0,097, and the significance of 0,000 <0,05, then Ha is accepted, meaning financial knowledge has a positive and significant effect on the development of MSMEs. The value of t count> t table or 4.142> 0.097, and the significance of 0,000 <0.05, Ha is accepted, meaning financial behavior has a positive effect and significance <0.05, Ha is accepted, meaning financial behavior has a positive and significant effect on the development of MSMEs. Abstract

Objek penelitian ini adalah PT. Berlian Transtar Abadi Medan yangmerupakan perusahaan jasa ekspedisi muatan kapal laut. Penelitian ini dilakukanuntuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja dan kompetensi kerjaterhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara parsial dan secara simultan. Model penelitianmenggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Penelitian ini menggunakanpendekatan kuantitatif, jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan sifat penelitianexplanatory. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 104 karyawan. Teknik pengambilandengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05). Secara parsial, disiplin kerja (nilai thitungdisiplin kerja sebesar 4,532 > ttabel 1,98373 dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 <0,05) dan kompetensi kerja (nilai thitung kompetensi kerja sebesar 4,052 > ttabel1,98373 dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0.05) berpengaruh positif dansignifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan23,9% dari variasi variabel dependen kinerja karyawan yang dapat dijelaskan olehvariabel independen disiplin kerja dan kompetensi kerja sedangkan sisanya sebesar76,1% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak digunakan pada penelitian ini sepertimotivasi kerja, kompensasi, dan sebagainya.

A company or any business entity feels that the absence of qualified resources will lead tounachievable goal in the company. But it is often not realized, the company only makes employees or their resources as a means to achieve its goals rather than as individuals who have a need for recognition and awards. This study was conducted to investigate and examine the effect of communication and work stress on employee performance at PT. Sinar Sosro Morawa. The theory used include definition, the essence, the factors that affect the benefits and objectives, approaches and indicators of communication variables, the stress of work and performance. The research approach is quantitative while this type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The nature of research is descriptive explanatory. The population of the study were 238 employees. By using simple random sampling, 149 samples were obtained. The results showed that simultaneously or partially communications and job stress affect the performance of employees. The results of the test showed 15.8% of determination coefficient of variation of performance ondependent variable can be explained by the independent variable of communication and work stress. The conclusion of this study states that simultaneously and partially communication and work stress significantly affect the performance of employees at PT. Sinar Sosro Morawa.

Abstract

Abstract: Human resources become­­ spotlight as well as foundation for the organization in order to survive in today’s era of globalization. This has to be supported by good training in order to improve the performance of employees that need to be strengthened by competency. The purpose of this study is to determine how much Training influences Performance while being moderated by Competency at the office of Ministry of Commerce Directorate of Metrology Regional I Medan. The methods used in this research are descriptive method and verification method. Analysis tools used are descriptive statistics, regression analysis, validity test, reliability terst and pure moderator. Research results descriptively show that Training, Competency and Performance of Employees at the Ministry of Trade Metrology Directorate Region I are in good condition. Simultaneously, results show that Training had no significant effect on the Performance of employees while being moderated by Competency of employees.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and organizational commitment on employee performance at PT. Rismawan Pratama Shining Sukabumi. The design in this study uses a survey method with descriptive-quantitative approach and associative methods. To test the analysis of the research instruments used validity test, reliability test and classic assumption test, then to test statistical analysis and relationship analysis used Pearson product moment correlation, coefficient of determination, multiple linear regression and to test the hypothesis used the t test and F test. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be seen that simultaneously emotional intelligence and organizational commitment significantly influence employee performance. By comparing Fcount with Ftable (183.9719 > 3.10), it means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so the research hypothesis proposed in this study is proven that emotional intelligence and organizational commitment together (simultaneously) affect the performance of employees. The magnitude of the contribution of the influence of emotional intelligence and organizational commitment to employee performance by 80.5%, while the remaining 19.5% is influenced by variables not examined

Abstract

Stock price is one indicator that shows investor interest in owning a company's stock. An investor always expects a stable stock price and has a pattern of movement that tends to rise from time to time, but in fact the stock price tends to fluctuate. Fluctuating stock prices become a risk for investors. Therefore, an investor must understand the issues that must be considered in determining investment decisions. The research variables are Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), Liquidity (CR), and Profitability (NPM) and Share Prices. The research populations were Trade, Service and Investment Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. The research samples were drawn by using a purposive sampling technique. The research samples were 17 company financial statements that met the criteria as a sample of the company. The datacollection was performed by documentation techniques and the research data were analyzed by using multiple linear analysis. Hypothesis testing shows that the Individual Payout Ratio (DPR) and Liquidity (CR) do not have a significant effect on stock prices. Profitability (NPM) has a significant effect on Stock Prices. The value of Adjusted R Square was 0.275 indicating that variations in the DPR, CR, and NPM can explain variations in the variable Stock Price up to 27.5% while the remaining 72.7% can be explained by other factors outside the variables that have not been examined.

Data yang digunakan adalah laporan keuangan paska Holding Company PT Pertamina periode Januari 2017 – Desember 2018. Analisis data menggunakan Du Pont System Analysis. Hasil penelitian menununjukkan adanya peningkatan rasio – rasio keuangan periode tahun 2017 -2018 .Dengan ercapainya peningkatan rasio Return on Investment , Return On Asset , Cash Ratio , Current Ratio , Collection Period , Inventory Turn Over , Total Asset Turn Over , dan Total Modal Sendiri tersebut dapat mendukung hipotesis penelitian bahwa setelah melakukan holding perusahaan induk terbukti mengalami efisiensi dan peningkatan kinerja keuangannya. Kata Kunci : Financial Performance, Holding Company, Du Pont System Analysis Abstract This research was conducted to analyze the financial performance of PT Pertamina (Persero) after the holding company. The data used are the financial statements of the post-holding company of PT Pertamina for the period January 2017 - December 2018. Analyze data using Du Pont System Analysis .The results showed an increase in the financial ratios for the period 2017 -2018. With the achievement of an increase in the ratio of Return on Investment, Return on Assets, Cash Ratio, Current Ratio , Collection Period, Inventory Turn Over, Total Asset Turn Over, and Total Own Capital can support the research hypothesis that after holding a holding company proved to experience efficiency and increased financial performance. Abstract

Capital market is one of the media which gives the opportunity for individual and insttutional investors to invest. The Indonesia Stock Exchange and Indonesian capital market has 11 types of stock priced index which as continously spread through printed and electronic mass media, as one of the guidelines for investor to invest in capital market. The development of indonesian capital market (LQ45 Index and IHSG Index) is closely related to global index and macro economy. The objective of the reseach was to examine the canonical correlation of global index (Dow Jones Index and EIDO Index) and macro economy (Rupiah Exchange Rate and SBI interest rate) with indonesian capital market (LQ45 Index and IHSG Index). The sample were limited to the period of 2011-2013 (36 months).The data were analyzed by using canonical correlation at the significant level of 5%. The result of the research showed that global index (Dow Jones Index and E10) and macro economy (rupiah exchange rate and SBI interest rate) had significant correlation with indonesian capital market (LQ45 and IHSG), with canonical coefficients perfect weight for L045 (1.00) and almost perfect for JCI (0.98). This means that the Dow Jones. EIDO exchange rate, interest rate SBI has a significant positive relationship towards LQ45 Index and IHSG Index are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2011 to 2013 Individually Dow Jones (0.67), EIDO (0.54) and Exchange Rate (0.37) has a positive relationship with the capital market indices Indonesia (L045 Index and IHSG Index), which means when the Dow Jones. EIDO, and Rupiah Exchange high, then LQ45 and IHSG will be high, or vice versa when the Dow Jones, EIDO, and Exchange Rate is low, then the Index will be lower LQ45 and IHSG. Instead SBI rate (-0.29) had a negative correlation with stock market indices Indonesia (LQ45 Index and IHSG Index), which means if the SBI interest rate is high, then LQ45 and IHSG will be low, or vice versa when the Indonesian interest rate is low, then LQ45 and IHSG will be high

Abstract

Indonesia as a developing country has experienced quite rapid development in several industrial sectors, especially in the plastic and packaging sectors, metals and components, ceramics, glass and wood porcelain, chemicals, pet food, paper and cement. In general, companies that are established by individuals or groups have a goal that is to obtain optimal profits with minimal costs, to achieve these goals, good and reliable management is needed to be able to manage the company so that production resources become more effective and efficient. Management that is not good will lead to various obstacles that have a bad impact. The study concluded that the Debt To Asset Ratio had no effect and was not significant, Working Capital has a positive and significant , Current Ratio has no effect and is not significant on Profitability..
