Abstract

Education is a very significant aspect to educate the nation's children which is developed all aspects of education, one of which is the purpose of Islamic education and the Islamic education curriculum. The purpose of this study is to analyze the objectives of Islamic education and the Islamic education curriculum from the perspective of Harun Nasution and Fazlur Rahman. This study uses a type of qualitative research with an analytical content design. The data collection technique in writing this scientific paper is a documentation technique, namely data collection by selecting data that correlates with the title of the study. The method of documentation on this writing is by collecting data, analyzing data according to the theory to obtain conclusions. The results of this study show that these two figures' thoughts are interrelated with each other. (i) From the purpose of Islamic education, where Harun is centered on the practice of knowledge and boils down to a cultured noble mind, then Rahman focuses on the cultivation of a creative personality and also boils down to good morals in order to create order and peace. (ii) these two figures' thoughts are so relevant to be realized today, because the curriculum concepts that these two figures present are also very modern and very in line with the problems of the Islamic education world. (iii) The development of increasingly modern technology, does not make the concepts described by Harun and Rahman also lag behind, but the thoughts of these figures who will answer the challenges of technological developments for the world of education. Thus, the thinking of these two figures is immediately possible to be applied to improve the system of Islamic education.

Abstract

The development and advancement of technology, human activities and behavior are not a few that have a bad impact on the environment due to the pollution produced. The concern of the educational environment is characterized by a specific environmental attitude made based on value-based theories. In the sense of environmental care for many environmental damages caused by human activities so that the surrounding environment becomes polluted and increases natural damage, this study aims to instill and increase a sense of environmental care starting from activities in schools, where schools are the initial place of an education to instill a sense of care for the environment. The method used in this study uses purposive sampling techniques with descriptive quantitative analysis techniques using interview, observation and document methods where the three methods are used complementary and equally strong in this study. The results of research that have been carried out by researchers at SMA 2 Bantul get very fulfilling results, where SMA N 2 Bantul obtained a final score of 96.49. On average, the school has supported an environmentally sound school curriculum, and has been used in the learning process, as well as the participation of school residents who maintain the school environment, and there is an interest from the school community in motivating themselves so that others are willing to do the same so that the school can achieve the goals of an environmentally sound and sustainable school.

Abstract

In the 21st century, technological developments have progressed not only in the world of work but also in the world of education. The use of technological media is not only limited to the teaching and learning process, but must also be able to penetrate into other activities such as infaq. Therefore this study has several objectives, namely to find out the use of QRIS in collecting infaq, to ​​find out what motivates the school to use QRIS, and to find out how effective it is in using QRIS. This study uses qualitative research with a type of field research (Field Research) with a descriptive approach. The data source used in this study was by conducting direct interviews with several informants by preparing several questions related to the research object. The data collection technique used was direct observation and interviews with the school principal and PAI teachers. After the interview process was carried out, the transcript process of the interview data was then carried out to then take themes that were in accordance with the objectives. Overall, the research findings found six important themes related to the analysis of infaq collection through QRIS digital media, namely: i) Production motivation, ii) Constraints to use, iii) Strengths, iv) Weaknesses, v) Effectiveness of use, vi) Targets and expectations. The results of this research can be used as a basis or reference for future research, to investigating similar problems in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

The development of technology in the world of educationencourages the educational process to be more advanced and flexible. The introduction of technology to students aims to make them have extensive knowledge and experience to be used in their lives in the future. Kuriculum 2013 emphasizes the panyof intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence. In its implementation, there are still few learning media available that can increase spiritual intelligence. So far, learning media has only been aimed at intellectual and emotional intelligence, even though spiritual intelligence has an important role in building the character of students. Therefore, it is necessary to develop learning media that can increasethe 3 intelligences, especially spiritual intelligence. The Student Learning Application (BAS) is an application that is integrated with moral strengthening in students. The type of research used is Research and development with 4D models (define, design, develop, and dissminate). In this study, it only reached the stage of developing with validity testing and small-scale testing. Thedata analysis techniques are qualitative and quantitative. The research was conducted at SDN 18 Air Tawar Timur, SDN 25 Air Tawar Timur, and SD Pembangunan Universitas Negeri Padang. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, distributing product validation questionnaires, and response test questionnaires to students and elementary school teachers. The results of the study obtained results that the media was valid and the response test obtained quite good results. This learning media can be used as an alternative in an effort to strengthen spiritual values in learning media in schools.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the most disaster-prone countries in the world as evidenced by the World Risk Index 2019 data, Indonesia is ranked 37th out of 180 countries. The younger generation as agents of change must be able to have a positive influence on the community on the importance of preparedness and mitigation as an effort to reduce the impact of disaster risk. This research intends to design the development of Augmented Reality-based disaster mitigation learning media as a means of disaster education. The method used is the development of a prototype model consisting of listen to customer, build/revise mock-up, customer test-drive mock-up. This stage is carried out with the stages of needs analysis, design, testing, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the Blackbox Fire Disaster Mitigation-AR test was successfully displayed as expected (valid) with the target user being the community and students, especially early childhood children building creative, critical, and innovative thinking patterns in solving problems about disasters. Novelty given in developing ideas about disaster mitigation educational media in order to realize quality education and handling climate change. It can be concluded that the presence of Augmented Reality-based disaster mitigation learning media is considered very useful in supporting the learning process in the 21st century and making it easier for users to implement the knowledge gained into daily life by knowing the stages before and after disaster mitigation through disaster education.

Abstract

Education is an effort made by the government to create an atmosphere in the learning process for students to be active in building their potential. In the educational process, students are expected to have religious values, be able to control themselves, personality, intelligent, intellectual, moral, and skilled. Students in schools are asked to have 21st-century skills, namely the appearance known as "4C", one of which is creative thinking skills. To realize this, the role of teachers in schools is needed as educators. In the learning process, the learning model needs to be considered by a teacher for the learning objectives to be achieved. The learning model is (Project Based Learning) which reveals whether the learning model influences the creative thinking of high school biology students, researchers conduct literature reviews related to this. The method in this study is a literature review method, namely analyzing relevant articles with a descriptive type qualitative approach by including the keywords "Project Based Learning" and "creative thinking ability". The result of this literature review is that the PJBL (Project Based Learning) learning model has a significant effect on the ability to think in high school biology class students. In addition to the syntax of the PJBL (Project Based Learning) model which can require students to solve problems in the form of projects so that students can think creatively, other things also support the use of the PJBL (Project Based Learning) learning model such as the use of interesting media-assisted or the use of supporting student worksheets.

Abstract

Children who have learning difficulties really need to be considered, so that they can realize their dreams in the future. One of the initial steps in achieving this goal is that children must be able to read, because reading is a bridge so that children can get to know what they want to know. By finding out (know) what the child likes, the teacher can re-develop how to teach the child to read. Arouse children's curiosity by telling hero characters related to the problems they are facing. This study aims to accelerate students in learning, especially for students who cannot read. Research uses a literature method with a descriptive approach to reveal something as it is. Based on research conducted by children's experts in Indonesia, the interest in reading is still far from average. So that the culture of reading is still not very applied in Indonesia. Through this study, the researcher discussed how important it is for students to use the KWL method in learning so that teachers do not have difficulty in teaching reading students, especially low-grade elementary school students. This KWL method has three stages, namely the pre-reading, reading and post-reading stages. So that students can easily understand the lessons explained by the teacher in class. In addition to being easy to understand, the KWL method also makes students remember learning easily because the reading methods used are made interesting so that students' learning motivation increases.

Abstract

The outbreak of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic that occurred in Indonesia resulted in all aspects of life being greatly disrupted, including the education sector. During the Covid-19 pandemic, various ways have been carried out by various schools for ongoing learning such as applying bold learning and alluring learning. Although sometimes the learning objectives to be achieved have not been achieved properly, but what is expected from the process is that students are expected to be able to receive learning, both bold learning and compelling learning, including the efforts made by schools to educate their students. This study aims to determine the response of students to face-to-face learning after the COVID-19 pandemic at Padang State University. The research method used is a descriptive research method using surveys with data collection techniques in the form of filling out questionnaires through google forms. The number of samples in this study was 60 people. Data collection using a survey method with a likert scale. Data analysis by calculating the percentage of data on each indicator, then interpreting the percentage score of the data and analyzed descriptively on each indicator. Research analysis shows that students' response to face-to-face learning is very effective and efficient to do and is in the category of quite good (41.5%). The results of this study are also expected to be a reference in the development of face-to-face learning in higher education and as study material for subsequent research related to face-to-face learning after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Indonesia became a plastic waste emergency country, conveyed by Deputy IV of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and the Director General of Waste, Waste and Toxic Materials Management of Self-Defense (PSLB3) of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in Kominfo.go.id. More than 100,000 animals per year die from plastic waste. The problem of plastic waste in the open environment should be everyone's concern because it has a significant impact on environmental change. School education patterns move and develop in accordance with the development of science and technology which not only teaches cognitive aspects (knowledge) but also affective aspects (attitudes) and psychomotor aspects (behavior / habits). With regard to affective attitudes, the government has established character education. One of the characters developed is to care for the environment. The character of caring for the environment is oriented to preserve the environment in everyday life by showing concern by preventing damage and acting continuously in an effort to repair the damage that has been done to nature and the environment. This research was written with a qualitative descriptive type of writing. Data collection techniques used literature review techniques. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the quintessence of the reading source. The implementation of environmental character education is to provide habituation to be able to reduce the use of plastic waste in schools with the Bring Your Tumbler Goes to School movement.

Abstract

Changes in behavior in the new normal era that have occurred since the pandemic at the end of 2019 until now have caused changes to occur from all orders of life, one of which is the world of education felt by students. All online activities have become the main material that must be adapted by students both in learning and activities or student organizations, but with the easing of health protocols, activities that were previously online beginning to gradually be transferred to offline, although not all of them. The Center for Scientific Development and Student Research of Padang State University is a student activity unit engaged in research, science, and community service which is one of the units that have changed the work strategy of the management in achieving the vision and mission and common goals in the organization. Since the easing of health protocol regulations, this organization has slowly begun to change the format of its activities that were previously full online to blended, namely some are online and some are offline. Therefore, it is necessary to research the performance of administrators from the perspective of members who serve in the new normal era in pandemic conditions like now. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research with a Likert scale approach. The data type used is primary data. The study was conducted in the middle of July to early August 2022. The results showed that after researching the performance and level of satisfaction, it was known that the overall performance of the management was by expectations and had a positive influence on the level of member satisfaction.
