Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce is accompanied by an increase in the number of customers of application-based online store. The use of online shopping applications that are not appropriate may cause problems that result in customer losses. This quantitative research is intended to describe the utilization of online shopping application’s user guides by the customers in Makassar City. The research uses a descriptive statistic analysis. Data is displayed in the form of graphics and tables and interpreted descriptively. The results showed that the users of online shopping applications in Makassar City were less in using the user guide provided by the online shopping application provider. They preferred to do trial & error, even though they advised other users to read the tutorial. They were more concerned about convenience and simplicity than security issues. Besides, it was also found that those using the out-application-tutorials were more risked experienced problems than those did not use the tutorial at all and/or those used the in-application-tutorials.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is very important for students to know the level of understanding of a material that has been given. Evaluation can be done by giving an exam or test. The type of exam can be multiple choice, matching, right or wrong, short answer, description answer. This study focuses on the essay quiz assessment system in the LMS VidyaNusa framework using Nazief and Adriani algorithms. The stemming algorithm is a word cutting process that makes use of basic words using certain rules. The stemming process is carried out for Indonesian-language texts which generally consist of a combination of prefixes, basic words and suffixes. This Nazief and Andriani algorithm will be processed in real time. This system will help the teacher in the assessment of answers to student essay quiz because this system is equipped with value weighting so that it reduces subjective assessors and increases accuracy in assessment.

Abstract

The Institute for the Development and Development of Al Qur'an Kindergarten (LPPTKA) in Sidrap city is an organization of the Indonesian Youth Mosque Youth Communication Agency (BKPRMI). LPPTKA BKPRMI Sidrap city is an educational institution that seeks to foster and develop the reading, writing, understanding and practicing the Qur'an through TKA / TPA units. As is known, basic religious education for early childhood is very important, where basic religious education special attention to children. The Qur'an Education Park (TPA) has become a forum for debriefing the basics of religion for children such as learning iqro ', prayer, ablution and many more. The learning method used in most TPAs in Sidrap Regency still uses a general learning system such as using prayer books or iqra books so that students easily feel bored, especially when learning is very limited so that the knowledge gained is not maximal if they do not repeat home. By using an Android-based interactive learning application, it will provide a new way of learning and know technology to students so that it can increase the interest and quality of TK/TPA students in Sidrap district.

Abstract

Plagiarism is the use of data, language and writing without including the original author or source. The place where palgiate practice occurs most often is the academic environment. In the academic world, the most frequently plagiarized thing is scientific work, for example thesis. To minimize the practice of plagiarism, it is not enough to just remind students. Therefore we need a system or application that can help in measuring the level of similarity of student thesis proposals in order to minimize plagiarism practice. In computer science, the Rabin-Karp algorithm can be used in measuring the level of similarity of texts. The Rabin-Karp algorithm is a string matching algorithm that uses a hash function as a comparison between the search string (m) and substrings in text (n). The Rabin-Karp algorithm is a string search algorithm that can work for large data sizes. The test results show that the use of values on k-gram has an effect on the results of the measurement of similarity levels. In addition, it was also found that the use of the value 5 on k-gram was faster in executing than the values 4 and 6.

Abstract

Every day billions of data in the form of text flood the internet be it sourced from forums, blogs, social media, or review sites. With the help of sentiment analysis, previously unstructured data can be transformed into more structured data and make this data important information. The data can describe opinions / sentiments from the public, about products, brands, community services, services, politics, or other topics. Sentiment analysis is one of the fields of Natural Language Processing (NLP) that builds systems for recognizing and extracting opinions in text form. At the most basic level, the goal is to get emotions or 'feelings' from a collection of texts or sentences. The field of sentiment analysis, or also called 'opinion mining', always involves some form of data mining process to get the text that will later be carried out the learning process in the mechine learning that will be built. this study conducts a sentimental analysis with data sources from Twitter using the Random Forest algorithm approach, we will measure the evaluation results of the algorithm we use in this study. The accuracy of measurements in this study, around 75%. the model is good enough. but we suggest trying other algorithms in further research.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to design and implement automatic testing of online essay examinations using the Generalized Vector Space Model (GVSM) method. This data is obtained through (1) Literature Study (2) Observation (3) Documentation. The results of this study indicate that the automatic scoring system with the GVSM weighting method and the cosine similarity similarity calculation method have the accuracy of the assessment with an average of 66%.

Abstract

Software cost estimation is important for information systems management and is generally taught in software engineering courses especially to terms of the ever-increasing development of E-Government. A significant challenge for Software Sizing (SS) is to determine cost estimates based on TOR documents that do not yet contain complete Software Requirements Specifications (SRS). This study uses Function Points as one of the measurement methods that can make cost estimates and expert needs based on the desired functional system. On the other hand, there are cases where estimation needs after the SRS document have been made. Thus in this study, the authors discuss the implementation of SS based on TOR and SRS documents for E-Government. The results of this study indicate the closeness of the actual and estimated values of 81.9% for TOR and 93.4% for SRS.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and develop a system for monitoring computer infrastructure management in real time (real-time monitoring). The developed system was a distributed system that would help IT Administrators work at the Center for Computing and Information Technology Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia (CCIT FTUI) to monitor the computer infrastructure in real-time. The Real - time referred to system that was able to do direct monitoring to computer infrastructure, and quickly able to transmit data status of the device. Limitations of the current monitoring process was that the IT Administrator checks directly into the computer lab room if there were problems related to a computer or cable that was not connected from the computer system based on a report from teachers or students.         The developed monitoring system was a client/server based system that used network infrastructure so that the computer infrastructure could be optimally monitored. The modules used in this research are computer input and output modules, and installed applications or system services. This research is expected to be able to overcome the problems associated with computer infrastructure’s performance, conduct supervision and centralized control in helping the problems that often occur during learning process or examination. Keywords: Monitoring, Computer Infrastructure Management, Distributed System, Computer Network, Real-time.

Abstract

One of the materials taught in science lesson is about human skeletons. In the learning process of the human skeletal, teachers use props in the form of human skeletal models. With the development of technology, the use of human skeletal models can be replaced with digital models. Human skeletal models can be damaged either by deliberate or accidentally by age. The correct method for replacing the model of a human skeleton into a digital form is by using Augmented Reality technology, where Augmented Reality technology is capable of projecting 3-dimensional objects into the real world directly. The use of augmented reality technology is increasingly prevalent in the world of education, health, sales, and tourism. The results obtained in this study was the application could project 3-dimensional objects from the human skeleton that was divided into 4 parts of the skull, spine and ribs, the bone of the upper tool and the bone of the motion of the bottom of the marker. Based on the tests that have been done, it was concluded that a good distance in identifying markers between smartphones with markers is at a distance between 2-6 inches and marker slope of the smartphone is 00-600
