Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan matematika terhadap kewirausahaan sehingga menjadi bekal dalam menjalani usaha. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan kepada Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas FPMIPA IKIP Gunungsitoli semester VII. Metode Penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode sampel purposif (purposive sample). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah matematika memiliki peranan yang besar terhadap kegiatan kewirausahaan, karena: 1) matematika dapat menumbuhkan kemauan yang kuat dalam menjalankan usaha, 2) dengan matematika seseorang mampu mengambil keputusan yang tepat dalam usahanya. 3) matematika memiliki seni kreatif yang mampu digunakan seseorang untuk berinovasi dan menciptakan kreativitas dalam usahanya sehingga tampak menarik. 4) ketekunan merupakan ciri yang dimiliki ketika belajar matematika yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam kegiatan kewirausahaan, 5) matematika mengandung etika yang dapat diterapkan dalam kewirausahaan, 6) matematika memiliki sifat open ended yang bisa diterapkan dalam usaha seperti melakukan perubahan terhadap strategi dan cara kerja untuk keberhasilan usaha yang dijalankan, matematika bisa membaca peluang usaha yang ada, sehingga peluang usaha yang ada tidak tersia-siakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi pada pelaksanaan studi pendahuluan di SMA Negeri 1 Lolomatua, yang selama ini siswa tidak dibiasakan mengerjakan soal-soal berbasis masalah dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis masih kategori rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri siswa SMA Negeri 1 Lolomatua Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Lolomatua dengan populasi 2 kelas sebanyak 74 orang, dan sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI-IPA1 sebagai kelas eksperimen E1 dengan jumlah siswa 38 orang dan kelas XI-IPA2 sebagai kelas eksperimen E2 dengan jumlah siswa 36 orang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental Design (penelitian semu). Instrumen penelitian ini berbentuk esai tes pemecahan masalah matematis sebanyak 4 butir soal. Data penelitian yang diperoleh diolah dengan pengolahan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Hasil penelitian diperoleh berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan software SPSS nilai Sig. sebesar 0,039 artinya Sig < ? (0,05) atau 0,039 < 0,05 maka tolak H0 terima Ha. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang menggunakan model Pembelajaran PBL dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi sosial guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi sebanyak 41 siswa Kelas XI Jurusan Administrasi Perkantoran dengan teknik sampling total (sensus). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan di antaranya analisis regresi linier sederhana, koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi, dan uji hipotesis. Diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu bahwa terdapat pengaruh kompetensi sosial guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa Kelas XI Jurusan Administrasi Perkantoran pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi Bisnis di SMK Al Wahyu Jakarta Timur.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of learning principles in distance learning through the WhatsApp chat application. The method used in this research is the ex post facto method. This research was conducted on students of the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, Indraprasta University, PGRI with a sample of 282 students. The results of this study were as many as 81.9% of students stated that they could pay attention to learning well, 52.5% of students felt motivated when participating in learning, 69.5% of students stated that they were able to actively participate in learning, 62.4% of students stated that they felt involved when learning takes place, 84.8% stated that they could re-access the material that had been studied, 49.3% said the given task could accommodate their understanding, and 54.3% stated that the complexity of learning could be solved through learning via WhatsApp. Based on this research, it can be concluded that learning principles such as attention and motivation, activeness, direct involvement, repetition, challenges, and individual differences have been implemented well even though learning is carried out remotely through the WhatsApp chat application. However, teachers seem to need to pay attention to the challenges and individual differences in the implementation of distance learning through WhatsApp. This can be seen from the results of the study that the task given with the aim of accommodating understanding turned out to be the lowest number, not even reaching 50%. This shows that there is a need for other innovations in an effort to accommodate understanding in order to facilitate each individual who has differences in understanding each material given.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether academics have implemented SNI 19-4192-2002 in writing abstracts. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. The object of this research is the abstract submitted by academics who are presenters at the national scientific meeting of Duconomics Sci-meet 2021 with a total of 48 abstracts. The result of this research is that 60% of abstracts have not implemented SNI 19-4192-2002 on Documentation — Abstracts for documentation and publication. In the SNI document, it is explained that the abstract contains at least the objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions. Abstracts are presented in a concise form, which is between 100 to 250 words, and are easy to understand. Abstracts are also written in one paragraph. Then, the abstract is presented in Indonesian, and it is also advisable to prepare an abstract in English. Only 27% of academics have implemented SNI 19-4192-2002 in their abstract writing. Unfortunately, there are still 13% academics whose abstracts do not implement SNI 19-4192-2002. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that education related to abstract writing with national standards is necessary to improve the quality of scientific writing in Indonesia.

Abstract

Online learning is distance learning that utilizes telecommunications and information technology. Online is used as a learning model during the corona pandemic to anticipate the spread of the Covid-19. In the learning process this is less effective because there is still a lack of parental roles in mentoring, supervising and motivating children while attending school from home. Parents are the first and foremost educators in the family environment. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of parents in online learning at SMA Respati Jakarta and what obstacles were encountered in assisting children during learning. The research used is a qualitative descriptive study. data collection was done through filling out online questionnaires via google form, and interviews. The results showed that parents play a very important role in the teaching and learning process during learning from home. Where parents act as motivators, facilitators in accompanying and teaching materials that have not been maximally delivered by teachers due to limitations during this pandemic.

Abstract

There are so many lessons to be learned in PAUD. One of them is counting lessons. Because counting lessons are considered quite difficult and uninteresting, this causes children's learning outcomes to be low. For this reason, teachers must familiarize children with learning to count through an approach to learning to count. This research is a survey research with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in the Azzahra Kalideres PAUD, West Jakarta. The research was carried out for 3 months, consisting of the preparation of proposals, testing of instruments, dissemination and collection of field research data, preparation and processing of data. The research was conducted in January–March 2018. Data collection was done through interviews and documentation from the literature study. The results of the study show that learning to count counting must be linked to the real world in order to make it easier for children to learn mathematics. With the help of the teacher, children are given the opportunity to discover mathematical concepts for themselves. After that, they have to apply it in their daily life or in other fields.

Abstract

Early childhood education aims to help the growth and development of children as early as possible. One that is developed in early childhood education is motor skills. The development of children's motor skills is divided into two, namely the development of soft motorics skills and the development of gross motor skills. These skills can be developed and improved through coloring activities. However, the field says otherwise. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether coloring activities can improve the soft motorics skills of children in group B of RA Al Muhsinin, South Tambun District. This research is a collaborative classroom action research. This research was conducted in RA Al Muhsinin, South Tambun District. The selection of this location was done because in that class there were problems with the children's soft motorics skills related to soft motorics skills. The subjects in this study were children of group B RA Al Muhsinin, South Tambun District, totaling 12 children, consisting of 4 boys and 8 girls. The object of this research is soft motorics skills. The CAR model used consists of four components, namely plans, actions and observations and reflections. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used a qualitative and quantitative descriptive approach. The results showed that coloring activities could improve the soft motorics skills of children in group B of RA Al Muhsinin, South Tambun District.

Abstract

Educational goals are intended to be achieved by an educational institution. This goal can be achieved if there is a role from students. However, at the early childhood education level, there are still many children who are not independent. For this reason, children's independence needs to be developed. One of the developments of children's independence can be increased through parenting. This research method is causal quantitative research – comparative. This research was conducted at PAUD Nurul Husna in the 2017/2018 academic year. The time of the research was carried out from April to July 2018. This type of research was ex post facto. The research population is parents or guardians of PAUD Nurul Husna students, totaling 60 people. The research sample is 30 students obtained through random sampling technique. Data collection uses test and non-test evaluation tools based on a psychological scale. Data analysis techniques are normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, and hypothesis testing using the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that there is an influence of parenting patterns on the development of independence of PAUD Nurul Husna students for the 2017/2018 academic year.

Abstract

Education is an important thing in life. There are three components of education that are intended to achieve educational goals. In simple terms, the basic purpose of education can be assessed from student achievement. however, SMP Negeri 4 Malingping shows low learning achievement. There are many factors that influence the low learning achievement of students at SMP Negeri 4 Malingping. One of the factors is the environment, especially the learning environment. For this reason, researchers want to know whether the learning environment can affect student achievement in SMP Negeri 4 Malingping. This research is quantitative with the research method used is causal associative. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Malingping which is located at Kp. Sangiang, RT. 001/006, Sangiang Village, Malingping District, Lebak Regency, Banten. The research was carried out for 5 months, starting from October 2018 to February 2019. The total population and sample of the study were 65 students of class VIII. Data collection techniques in the form of observation. The data source used is primary data. There is a positive and significant influence between the variables of the school environment on student achievement at SMPN 4 Malingping.
