Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that says that education must be managed with strategic management in order to produce the most superior management to be developed. This research was conducted in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Bandar Lampung City. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative approach with a multisite study. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study conclude that: Strategic planning in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Bandar Lampung City is carried out through activities, formation of a formulation team, formulation of vision and mission, analysis of opportunities, and threats, long-term plans, annual plans, improvement of learning, opening classes Bilingualism and improving the quality of educators. The strategic evaluation is carried out through official meetings, meetings with madrasa heads, committees, and waka, special meetings for madrasa heads and waka, meetings for teachers, employees, and madrasa heads, and committee meetings

Abstract

Student management in Madrasah Aliya Miftahul Ulum has followed the concepts of student management, this can be seen directly in the implementation of new student admissions, data collection on student learning progress, guidance and guidance on student discipline and monitoring has been implemented by the madrasa component. There are obstacles to the implementation of student management. Based on the results of this study into the material of thought, information and input for organizers and coaches of students, administrators, principals, teachers, and other staff in the Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Ulum, users of education services (community, guardians of students, students) and education observers in managing students better in order to produce quality resources and generations, can produce graduates who are strong and ready to face the challenges of the future.

Abstract

SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and the Enterprise Architecture Planning Method can have a significant impact on improving the quality of academic methods in an educational institution. SWOT helps identify the strengths and weaknesses of the academic methods that have been implemented, allowing institutions to capitalize on strengths and overcome weaknesses. By identifying opportunities, institutions can develop academic methods that are responsive to developing educational trends and student needs. The impact of threats to academic methods can be reduced with appropriate planning, reducing risks, and increasing resilience to change. SWOT helps in identifying areas where efficiency can be improved, including improving teaching and learning processes. The Enterprise Architecture Planning method ensures effective integration between the various systems and processes involved in the academic method, minimizing redundancy and improving coordination. Help ensure that academic methods are aligned with the educational institution's business goals and strategies, ensuring focus on achieving the vision and mission. Planning efficient data structures, making it easier to manage academic data, performance evaluation and decision-making. The performance of the technology used in academic methods creates a more modern and responsive learning environment. With the combination of SWOT analysis and the application of the Enterprise Architecture Planning Method, educational institutions can achieve positive and sustainable changes in their academic methods, creating a better and more responsive learning environment.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is communication between two or more people face to face, and has the possibility of each participant catching a reaction to the message conveyed. The type of research used was descriptive qualitative. The steps to determine the data source were: informants who were directly involved in this research problem, including the head of the madrasah and the teachers of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Baitul Ulum Suoh West Lampung. The results of the research show that the implementation of interpersonal communication by the head of the madrasah in improving the performance of teaching and education staff at MTs Baitul Ulum Tuguratu, the implementation of interpersonal communication by the head of the madrasah has gone well, this can be seen through the communication process of the head of the madrasah which can be said to be carried out quite smoothly at the madrasah.

Abstract

Project-based learning is one approach that can be used to achieve students understanding of library management courses comprehensively, not only theoretically but also practically. This research describes the project-based learning management process in the library management course of the Islamic Education Management study program at the Tarbiyah Az Zahra Tasikmalaya College of Science. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews and documentation studies. While data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show the project-based learning implementation is carried out with the following steps: 1) determining the project, activities in this stage include delivering the syllabus and identifying the form of the project according to student needs; 2) planning for project completion, in this stage a table is prepared, library processing practices are carried out, and student groups are divided; 3) project implementation is carried out after the lecture completes 8 class meetings; 4) monitoring project completion, this activity is carried out when students practice directly in the library and monitor the library management practice table; 5) assessment of project results, assessment is based on several things, including: a) student persistence in attending lectures (theoretical discussions) in class, b) filling in the logbook table, c) filling in the library management progress table; and d) the role or status of student activity; 6) evaluation and reflection on project results, each group creates and collects videos and slides about ongoing management practices and then presents them, after which it continues with reflection guided by the lecturer who teaches the library management course.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the listening strategies applied by students in learning listening skills at MAN 1 Lampung Selatan. The research design used in this research is qualitative descriptive research using research instruments in the form of observation, interviews and field notes. The participants in this research were 10 class XII students at MAN 1 Lampung Selatan, and in selecting this sample the researcher used purposive sampling. The students were considered capable participants in this study because they had learned more complex listening skills compared to first and second grade. Based on the research results, it is known that students are asked to play the audio more than once, if they hear unfamiliar or doubtful vocabulary, they write it down and ask the teacher or friends about the vocabulary, both teachers and students provide feedback about the listening skills they have learned. Several media that they use to practice their listening skills such as videos, films, audio and music. From the results of interviews with students, it was also found that students practice their listening skills when they have free time and students want to master English because they want to implement the knowledge they learn in everyday life and based on this it is known that the listening strategies that students apply in learning skills listening at MAN 1 Lampung Selatan is a cognitive strategy and a social affective strategy.

Abstract

The development of Information Technology continues to show developments in each era. One of the information system media that is really needed today is a website-based information system. The information system for accepting new students at MTs Matlaul Anwar will use a website-based information system. The aim of implementing this online admission system is to simplify service and shorten the time for registering new student admissions. This website for online new student admissions can be used to manage student data, store it, and send it to the school admin in the form of a database or Excel sheet. The development method used in this research is the waterfall method. Online-based New Student Admission Management (PPDB) is a system designed to increase efficiency, transparency, and fairness in the process of admitting new students to educational institutions. The implementation of this system also aims to improve the quality of services to the community by utilizing information technology.

Abstract

The principal's leadership model in school payment management is a concept related to the way the principal manages financial resources in the school in order to maximize the desired results. This concept is based on the understanding that effective leadership is very important in optimizing the use of financial resources in schools. The research methods used are qualitative and quantitative research. In the research process, a survey was conducted to collect data from respondents involved in school financing management. The data obtained is then processed using data processing formulas to obtain relevant and useful information. The research results concluded that the majority of respondents had a positive view of the leadership of school principals in school financing management. However, there are still certain aspects that need to be improved to improve the performance of school principals in managing school finances. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of a better and more effective school principal leadership model in school financing management. The conclusion of this research is that good leadership from school principals can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of school financing management, thereby improving the quality of education provided.

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop a more computerized filing system at SMP N 19 Pesawaran District. The purpose of this research is to add the Correspondence feature to the existing system because the use of a mailing system that is still manual and prone to losing letters can cause loss of time, costs, and hinder administrative processes at schools. The waterfall method and programming languages PHP, Java Script, and CSS are used in the development of information systems that have correspondence features. This system is useful in the process of storing and reporting incoming and outgoing letters contained in the agenda book. The author adds a special menu to back up letters stored in the information system. This backup feature is very important to ensure the security and retention of data stored in information systems. With the data backup and agenda letter features, the process of managing incoming and outgoing mail archives can be done more effectively and efficiently. This can help improve overall organizational efficiency and productivity. In this study, the authors succeeded in developing an information system that is more computerized and integrated with the Correspondence feature which is safe, reliable, and easy for users to use. This research has the potential to improve the quality of administrative services at SMP N 19 Pesawaran District and can be adopted by similar institutions to improve letter filing and increase overall organizational productivity.

Abstract

Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) yang adil dan transparan dapat menciptakan iklim sekolah yang lebih inklusif dan merangsang partisipasi semua staf. Semua staf sekolah merasa didengarkan dan dihargai. Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia yang baik dapat mendukung pengembangan profesional guru melalui pelatihan, peluang pembelajaran, dan evaluasi kinerja yang konstruktif. Dengan Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia yang baik, sekolah dapat lebih efektif dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan mereka, seperti peningkatan hasil tes siswa, pengurangan angka putus sekolah, dan peningkatan kualitas sekolah secara keseluruhan. Implementasi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia yang baik dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang positif dan mendukung, yang berkontribusi pada kesejahteraan staf sekolah. Penting untuk diingat bahwa Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia yang efektif bukanlah tugas sekali selesai, tetapi merupakan proses berkelanjutan. Dengan menjalankan MSDM yang baik, sekolah dapat mencapai hasil yang lebih baik dalam hal pengajaran, pembelajaran, dan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan.
