Abstract

In writing an argument, a strong understanding is needed to be able to understand the language or the meaning contained in it. Therefore, readers who are going to write arguments must read them carefully in order to present evidence or determine the possibility of expressing an attitude or opinion about something. Seeing the importance of the ability to write arguments, the Indonesian language and literature subjects at SMA / SMK were given writing argumentation sub-topics. The purpose of this study was to determine the students' ability to write arguments. This study only consisted of one variable, namely the ability to write arguments with a population of 51 students. Data analysis was carried out by finding the average percentage per indicator of students' argument writing ability by dividing the acquisition score of each indicator by the maximum score of each indicator. Based on the results of the research data analysis, it can be concluded that the average ability of class X students of SMK Grafika Gadingrejo in writing arguments from the observation results is quite adequate with a value of 65.25%. With the average ability per indicator as follows, the list of opinion topics is developed into arguments with a value of 82%, the ability to formulate an argumentation writing framework with a value of 80%, compile arguments coherently with a value of 74%, using conjunctions. between the sentence value 53%, using words according to Enhanced Spelling (EYD) with a value of 47%, and using words according to word choice (diction) with a value of 52%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of madrasah principals in improving teacher performance. The research uses a field research approach (field research). The results of the study showed that the head of the madrasah always carried out direct supervision or supervision by going around the class to see the teacher. In addition to supervising the teaching of the principal, the madrasah principal also plays a role in the process of monitoring or evaluating the work of all staff in the madrasa, including teachers, the madrasah principal tries to influence teachers and employees to inspire enthusiasm for work and commitment to task goals. The conclusion of this study is that the principal plays an active role in efforts to improve the work ethic of teachers, namely by establishing harmonious relationships with fellow teachers (teachers), providing welfare to adequate teachers, controlling and evaluating teachers in carrying out their duties so that they can change their mindset. in building teacher character, so that teachers participate in building madrasas to be at the forefront in accordance with their vision and mission.

Abstract

Teaching about writing drama scripts is part of teaching Indonesian. The aim of teaching drama scriptwriting at SMP / MTs is to emphasize the ability to write drama scripts in accordance with the rules of writing drama scripts. This is the hope of every educator and a junior high school student. This study aims to investigate the effect of using the Quantum Teaching method on the ability to write drama scripts in class VIII semester I SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu in 2016. The method used is an experimental method which can be interpreted as a research method used to find the effect of certain treatments on others. under controlled conditions. The experimental design used is a true experimental design in the form of pretest-posttest Control Group Design because in this form the researcher can control all the variables that affect the course of the research. Meanwhile, the different test on the ability to write drama scripts uses the Quantum Teaching method between the experimental class and the control class using the paired sample t-test. From the results of data analysis using the paired sample t-test, the t-test value is 2.556. 2,000 or 2,556> 2,000. This shows the influence of the use of the Quantum Teaching method on the ability to write drama scripts

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the principal: (1) as a leader in improving the quality of education; (2) supporting factors; (3) inhibiting factors and solutions in improving the quality of education. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results obtained from this study are: (1) the role of the principal as a leader in improving the quality of education is to monitor, mediate between teachers and students, discipline, motivate, innovate, liaise with external parties, guide students on an ongoing basis, foster and improve abilities. teachers, and make decisions; (2) supporting factors in improving the quality of education are the number of relationships, foundation support, students are free to choose, facilitate teachers; while the inhibiting factors and solutions are the clash of the system with the service, continuing to follow the service but adjusted to the school's vision and mission; frequent change of teachers, offer through a statement whether or not to continue and provide sufficient salary; certification policy, facilitating the second year by paying attention to student rights; lack of awareness of school residents, providing understanding, assignments, and motivating; the difficulty of implementing digital learning, including certified training and fulfilling infrastructure; the team coordinator is not always at school, communicating and diverting to members; calculate finances manually, using a weekly, quarterly, semester, yearly reporting system; and sometimes due to cost constraints, the program is postponed/takes the lowest nominal.

Abstract

Playing activities are a very effective way to develop the potential that exists in children. This is in accordance with the principles of learning in kindergarten education, where early childhood education is playing while learning, learning while playing. However, in reality, the teacher has not been able to develop ideas that can develop aspects of child development in learning activities, especially in recognizing letters so that the child's ability to recognize letters is still low and the way of pronouncing it is also unclear. This study aims to improve the ability to recognize letters (mentioning letters, show letters, and connect letters) by using letter cards in early childhood group A in PAUD Darusalam Ar-Rizki.This type of research is classroom action research conducted collaboratively between researchers and class teachers. This Classroom Action Research consists of four important stages, namely: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting and using 2 cycles. For the research object were students and female students of group A as many as 18 children. Data collection techniques in this study through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the ability to recognize letters of group A children in PAUD Darusalam Ar-Rizki can be improved using letter card media. In the learning process of guessing letters on letter cards, each child carries or holds the letter card directly and plays it according to the teacher's instructions, namely mentioning letters, showing letters, and connecting letters. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the ability to recognize letters, namely in the pre-cycle by 22.6%, increasing in Cycle I to 54.8%, and in Cycle II an increase of 98.2%. From this explanation, it can be understood that the increase in pre cycle to cycle I was 41.2%, and from cycle I to cycle II increased by 53.7%. So it can be concluded that the ability to recognize letters in group A children in PAUD Darusalam Ar-Rizki can be improved through letter card game media.

Abstract

Sociology of Islam is a scientific discipline that freezes its studies in the realm of Islamic community groups. Sociology of Islam seeks to portray Islamic community groups that have a social-cultural system that is built on their own system of values, beliefs, history, and morality. Sociology of religion tries to understand the meaning given by society to certain religious systems, by placing religion and human diversity as social phenomena. Sociology of religion includes efforts to develop and search for more appropriate concepts in accordance with the intent to better understand religious phenomena so that humans can understand religion as human interests and activities. Religion is related to needs, feelings, aspirations, and concerns some essential aspects of the human condition, so an understanding of the sociology of religion is concerned only with its effect on human historical experience and in the development of society. Basically, religion will give birth to society and grow to create a culture so that the dynamics of its development give birth to society and in the end can bring up religion again and this continues to rotate as well as causal relationships between one variable and another, this is because of the rotation of the three variables. interconnected and included as external factors, namely religion, culture, and society. The sociology of Islam reflects the religious attitude of Muslims in Indonesia which shows a three-phased historical and symbolic relationship pattern that can be summed up into four things, namely tensions in the formulation of the basic state, ideological tensions, state dictatorship, and majority domination.

Abstract

The mobile web-based academic information system makes it very easy to get or access information, so at MTs Miftahul Huda Sukorejo it is necessary to have a mobile web-based academic information system. Because the information has become a necessity for today's society, smartphones are the people's choice to access information on a mobile basis. The research that will be carried out is to design a mobile web-based information system that can run efficiently and effectively and can facilitate information for users. By using the SDLC method, the researcher tries to solve the problem of the academic information system at MTs Miftahul Huda Sukorejo. Abstract

Smartphones are information technology devices that are no longer an option, but have become a necessity in order to improve the learning process. Smartphone devices are also equipped with an operating system like a computer, smartphones can implement various forms of multimedia such as computers, except that they have high mobility and can be operated more effectively. Humans as technology developers who are carried out continuously from time to time have always increased, in the field of education. One of the uses of smartphone technology in educational activities is that it is used as a learning medium such as in geography subjects, materials of various kinds of rocks. However, in senior high school (SMA) class X, for geography subjects. The learning media used is very lacking, the teacher only uses conventional learning, with the lecture method so that it makes it difficult for students to understand the material. The existence of these problems, the researcher wants to make mobile learning media that will be used by students by using smartphones as a device to access information in the form of a mobile web.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe how the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in increasing the learning motivation of students at SMPN 26 Bandar Lampung. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In collecting data the researchers used several techniques including the methods of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study conclude that the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing student learning motivation at SMPN 26 Bandar Lampung include: The role of PAI teachers in increasing students' motivation to gain knowledge in PAI lessons at SMPN 26 Bandar Lampung. namely by: (a) providing guidance. (b) realizing and implementing healthy, safe, and attractive classroom conditions (c) conducting evaluations. The difficulties and solutions of PAI teachers in increasing students' learning motivation in learning Islamic religious education at SMPN 26 Bandar Lampung are caused by 2 factors, namely 1) obstacles that come from students: if learning motivation is not found in the students themselves, the desire to learn will be hard to get. Because there is no interest in learning, students will feel lazy to study, ignore lessons, disturb friends in class, skip class and come late and so on. 2) obstacles that come from outside the students themselves: (a.) obstacles come from the family (b.) obstacles come from the community environment (c) obstacles come from the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe 1) the strategy of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in instilling student character in SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung and 2) Implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in instilling student character in SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung. This research is a qualitative research by taking the location in SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and documentation and then the data is analyzed by means of reduction steps, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are 1). The strategy of PAI teachers in instilling the character of students at SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung, namely through habituation and example, while the character strategies instilled in students are characters between religious, disciplined, caring for the environment, responsibility, tolerance and independence, namely by getting used to students and motivate and exemplify from the teacher himself. 2). The implementation of the strategy of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in order to instill the character of students at SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung is one of them getting used to saying greetings, praying Zuhur in congregation, and experiencing obstacles both from the students themselves and the school environment.
