Abstract

ABSTRAKPencemaran merupakan suatu ancaman yang benar-benar harus ditangani secara sungguh- sungguh. Pencemaran terjadi pada saat senyawa-senyawa yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan manusia ditambahkan ke lingkungan, menyebabkan perubahan yang buruk terhadap kekhasan fisika kimia. Kondisi kualitas air suatu perairan yang baik sangat penting untuk mendukung kelulushidupan organisme yang hidup didalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa tingkat pencemaran lingkungan perairan di ekosistem mangrove Socah dan Ujung Piring Bangkalan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan mulai bulan Januari di dua stasiun penelitian, kemudian hasilnya dibandingkan dengan baku mutu air laut untuk biota laut berdasarkan KEPMEN-LH No 51 tahun 2004. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga parameter yaitu parameter DO, Nitrat dan Fosfat hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode Storet yang melebihi standart Baku Mutu. Hal ini dikarenakan banyak masukan bahan organik dan anorganik ke dalam perairan.Kata Kunci: Tingkat Pencemaran, Metode StoretABSTRACTPollution is a threat that really needs to be taken seriously. Pollution occurs when compounds produced from human activities are added to the environment, causing adverse changes to the peculiarities of chemical physics. A good water quality condition is very important to support the survival of the organisms that live in it. This study aims to analyze the level of water environment pollution in the Socah and Ujung Piring Bangkalan mangrove ecosystems. Sampling was carried out starting in January at two research stations, then the results were compared with sea water quality standards for marine biota based on KEPMEN-LH No. 51 of 2004. The results showed that there were three parameters namely DO, Nitrate and Phosphate parameters calculated using the Storet method which exceeds the quality standard. This is because a lot of input of organic and inorganic materials into the waters.Keyword: Pollution level, Storet method

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe coastal area of Lamongan Regency is an area that has a high population density so that it is possible for many organic and non-organic materials to enter the waters. Phytoplankton are aquatic organisms that can be used as indicators of water quality parameters because they are primary producer in the waters. This study is to determine the density of phytoplankton with diversity index, uniformity index and dominance index. This research was conducted from December 2018 to January 2019. Then identification of phytoplankton and analysis of the laboratory of marine science at University of Trunojoyo Madura. Sampling is done at two different stations. Analysis of phytoplankton density using haemocytometer and T test for analysis of phytoplankton density statistics. Phytoplankton found consisted of 3 classes (Bacillarophyceae, Cyanophyceae and Dinophyceae) with 22 genus. Total density of phytoplankton 2,896 cells / l, where station 1 (point A 4,125 cells / l, point B 2,750 cells / l) and station 2 (point C 3,125 cells / l, point D 2,500 cells / l, point E 2,625 cells / l and point F 2,250 cells / l) fall into the mesotrophic category. The diversity index is 1,864-2,494, the uniformity index is 0,750-0,945 and the dominance index is 0,0917–0,27551, where phytoplankton is still stable between the two stations. With the value of environmental parameters temperature 28.9 - 31.3 ˚C, Dissolved Oxygen 5.6-6.2 mg / ml, Salinity 27.6-30.3 ppt, pH 6.97-7.32 and brightness 26, 6-100 cm.Keywords: Lamongan, Phytoplankton and DensityABSTRAKDaerah pesisir Kabupaten Lamongan merupakan daerah yang mempunyai kepadatan penduduk yang cukup tinggi sehingga dimungkinkan banyak bahan-bahan organik dan non organik yang masuk kedalam perairan. Fitoplankton merupakan organisme perairan yang mampu dijadikan sebagai indikator parameter kualitas perairan karna bersifat produsen primer di perairan. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kepadatan fitoplankton dengan indeks keanekaragaman, indeks keseragaman dan indeks dominasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan desember 2018 sampai januari 2019. Kemudian dilakukan identifikasi fitoplankton dan analisis dilaboratorium ilmu kelautan Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di dua stasiun yang berbeda. Analisis kelimpahan fitoplankton menggunakan haemocytometer dan uji T untuk analisa statistik kepadatan fitoplankton. Fitoplankton yang ditemukan terdiri dari 3 kelas (Bacillarophyceae, Cyanophyceae dan Dinophyceae) dengan 22 genus. Total kepadatan fitoplankton 2.896 sel/l, dimana stasiun 1 (titik A  4.125 sel/l, titik B 2.750 sel/l) dan stasiun 2 (titik C 3.125 sel/l, titik D 2.500 sel/l, titik E 2.625 sel/l dan titik F 2.250 sel/l) masuk dalam kategori mesotrofik. Indeks keanekaragaman sebesar 1,864-2,494, indeks keseragaman sebesar 0,750-0,945 dan indeks dominasi sebesar 0,0917–0,27551, dimana fitoplankton masih setabil antara kedua stasiun. Dengan nilai parameter lingkungan suhu 28,9 – 31,3 ˚C, Oksigen Terlarut 5,6-6,2 mg/ml, Salinitas 27,6-30,3 ppt, pH 6,97-7,32 dan kecerahan 26,6-100 cm.Kata kunci: Lamongan, Fitoplankton dan Kepadatan

Abstract

ABSTRAKWilayah estuari merupakan daerah semi tertutup yang mempunyai batasan langsung dengan laut terbuka dan daerah-daerah muara sungai. Estuari merupakan suatu komponen dari ekosistem pesisir yang terkenal sangat produktif dan mudah terganggu kestabilannya akibat aktivitas manusia dan proses alamiah. Dalam hal ini terdapat hubungan ekosistem yaitu biotik dan abiotik. Salah satu komponen yang berperan dalam ekosistem adalah fitoplankton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas perairan dari segi produktivitas primer dan kelimpahan fitoplanktonya. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga bulan yaitu dari bulan Januari sampai Maret dan berlokasi di estuari Bancaran, dengan tiga stasiun. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan metode botol gelap-terang Wingkler, sedangkan metode kelimpahan fitoplankton yaitu dengan sampling acak dan metode sensus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat produktivitas primer di perairan estuari Bancaran yaitu 31-190 mgC/m3/jam, dengan nilai tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun 2 yaitu 190,625 mgC/m3/jam dan nilai terendah terdapat pada stasiun 1 yaitu 31,641 mgC/m3/jam. Kelimpahan fitoplankton di estuari Bancaran berkisar antara 611-4666 ind/l dan nilai suhu 29,1-32,7 oC, pH 6,04-7,64, Salinitas 0-8 ppt dan kecerahan 40-84 cm.Kata kunci: Produktivitas primer, Fitoplankton, Estuari, Kualitas perairan.ABSTRACTEstuary region is a semi-closed area that has direct boundaries with the open sea and estuary area. Estuary is a component of the coastal ecosystem which is known to be very productive and easily disturbed due to human activies and natural. Between biotic and abiotic ecosystems component. One of the most important component that take role in those ecosystems is Phytoplankton. The main purpose of this research was to know water quality. The research was conducted for 3 months namely is January to March and located in Bancaran estuary, with three stasion. The method that used for primery productivity measurement was Winkler’s dark-light method, while for phytoplankton diversity was random sampling and census method. The result show that primery productivity in Bancaran estuary is 31-190 mgC/m3/hour, with 190,625 mgC/m3/hour as the highest productivity value in two station and then 31,641 mgC/m3/hour as the lowest productivity value in one station in Bancaran estuary. Phytoplankton diversity in Bancaran estuary is 611-4666 ind/l and 29,1-32,7 oC temperature values, 6,04-7,64 pH, 0-8 ppt is salinity and 40-84 cm is a brightness values.Kata kunci: Primery productivity, Phytoplankton, Estuary, Waters quality.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMangrove forests are ecosystems dominated by trees that grow in salty waters and there are zooplankton. The density of mangroves consisted of 3 element, namely density ≥1500 trees/ha, medium ≥1000-˂1500 trees/ha and rarely 1000 trees/ha. The purpose of this study was to determine the community structure of zooplankton in mangrove ecosystems which was differed in density in Gresik Regency, East Java. The study was conducted in two locations. They are Kebomas and Manyar in January 2019. The sampling of mangroves using the method of line transects and sample plots. The zooplankton samples were taken by each mangrove with different densities. The study used the method of t-test and one way ANOVA test. The Zooplankton abundance is categorized from moderate (mesotrophic) fertility to low fertility (oligotrophic). The zooplankton diversity index is categorized as medium. The zooplankton uniformity index is categorized as high. The zooplankton dominance index is categorized as low. There is a significant difference in the t-test because the sig (2-tailed) value is 0,05. Then, one way ANOVA test does not have a significant difference because the value of sig 0,05. Keywords: Zooplankton Community Structure, Mangrove Different from Density, Gresik RegencyABSTRAKHutan mangrove merupakan ekosistem yang di dominasi pohon yang tumbuh di perairan asin dan didalam nya terdapat zooplankton. Kerapatan mangrove terdiri dari 3 yaitu rapat ≥1500 pohon/ha, sedang ≥1000-˂1500 pohon/ha dan jarang ˂1000 pohon/ha. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui struktur komunitas zooplankton pada ekosistem mangrove yang berbeda kerapatannya di Kabupaten Gresik, Jawa Timur. Penelitian dilakukan di dua lokasi yaitu Kebomas dan Manyar pada bulan Januari 2019. Pengambilan sampel mangrove dengan metode transek garis dan petak contoh serta sampel zooplankton diambil setiap mangrove yang kerapatan berbeda. Penelitian menggunakan metode uji t-test dan uji one way anova. Kelimpahan zooplankton dikategorikan dari tingkat kesuburan sedang (mesotrofik) sampai tingkat kesuburan rendah (oligotrofik). Indeks keanekaragaman zooplankton dikategorikan sedang. Indeks keseragaman zooplankton dikategorikan tinggi. Indeks dominansi zooplankton dikategorikan rendah.Uji t-test terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan karena nilai sig(2-tailed) 0,05. Abstract

ABSTRAKIkan pelagis kecil merupakan sumberdaya ikan yang paling banyak dimanfaatkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia. ikan merupakan bahan pangan yang mudah mengalami masalah dalam mempertahankan kesegaran sehingga terjadi kerusakan mikrobiologis yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan hidup mikroba. Salah satu mikroba yang merusak ikan di beberapa Wilayah di Perairan Sampang Madura disebabkan oleh bakteri Escherichia coli. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-Desember 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek pencemaran bakteri Escherichia coli pada ikan yang berada di Perairan Sampang Madura dengan menggunakan metode MPN (Most Probable Number) dengan seri 3 tabung yang meliputi beberapa pengujian yaitu, uji pendugaan coliform (Presumptive coliform), Uji pendugaan Escherichia coli (faecal coliform, presumptive Escherichia coli), Uji penegasan Escherichia coli (confirmed Escherichia coli), Uji morfologi Escherichia coli dan Uji Biokimia. Pengambilan sampel ikan di lakukan pada tiga lokasi yang berbeda, yaitu Ketapang terletak di wilayah Perairan laut terbuka, Tanglok terletak pada Perairan yang berdekatan dengan aliran sungai, sedangkan Camplong terletak berdekatan dengan permukiman. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan bakteri Escherichia coli pada daging ikan di Perairan Ketapang sebesar 3,6 MPN/g pada sampel ke 3. Perairan Tanglok terdapat bakteri Escherichia coli pada sampel ke 2 dengan nilai sebesar 3,0 MPN/g. Sedangkan di Perairan tidak ditemukan adanya bakteri Escherichia coli. Fish is a food that is easy to having a problems in maintaining freshness so that microbological damage occurs in accordance with the needs of living microbes. One microbe that damages fish in the some territorial waters in Sampang Madura is Escherichia coli. This research was conducted in October-December 2018. The purpose of this research is to know the contamination effects of Escherichia coli bacteria on the fish by using the MPN method (Most Probable Number) with a series of 3 tubes including several tests such as, Presumptive coliform, faecal coliform, presumptive Escherichia coli, confirmed Escherichia coli and Escherichia coli morphological and Biochemical Test. Fish sampling was carried out at three different locations, namely Ketapang located in the open sea area, Tanglok located in the waters adjacent to the river, while Camplong is located adjacent to the settlement. The results of the analysis showed the presence of Escherichia coli bacteria in fish samples in Ketapang waters of 3.6 MPN/g on 3rd repetition. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenentuan status mutu air dan penentuan arah kebijakan Pengelolaan Limbah Domestik yang slama ini menjadi permasalahan di pesisir kamal. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari dan hasil di bandingkan dengan baku mutu perairan berdasarkan KEPMEN-LH No 51 tahun 2004. Hasil penelitian dengan metode storet menunjukkan bahwa perairan pesisir kamal cenderung Tercemar Berat. Pengambilan Keputusan dengan metode AHP dapat dijadikan acuan karena hasil yang didapatkan fair, konsisten karena nilai CR 0,1 atau 10%  sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Pengambilan Keputusan dengan metode AHP Pada Kriteria hukum menunjukkan nilai tertinggi terdapat pada peningkatan pengawasan dan pemantauan buangan limbah domestik dalam pengelolaan limbah domestic di pesisir kamal dengan nilai 3.148. Pada Kriteria ekonomi pada tabel menunjukkan angka tertinggi pada perilaku masyarakat dalam membuang limbah domestic dan pemantauan terhadap buangan limbak domestik di pesisir kamal dengan nilai 4.512. Pada kriteria ekologi pada tabel menunjukkan angka tertinggi pada peningkatan pengawasan dan konservasi lahan pesisir dengan nilai 3.830. Pada kriteria sosial pada tabel menunjukkan angka tertinggi pada  peraturan pengelolaan limbah domestic dan perilaku masyarakat membuang sampah domestic dengan nilai 7.026. Adapun alternative dengan bobot terbesar dianggap mampu merepresentasikan strategi pengelolaan limbah domestic  di lingkungan pesisir kamal.Kata Kunci: Limbah Domestic, AHP {Analytyc Hierarchy Process)ABSTRACTDetermination of the status of water quality and determination of the direction of this longstanding Domestic Waste Management policy are problems on the kamal coast. The study was conducted in January and the results were compared with water quality standards based on KEPMEN-LH No. 51 of 2004. The results of research using the storet method showed that kamal coastal waters tend to be heavily polluted. Decision Making using the AHP method can be used as a reference because the results obtained are fair, consistent because the CR value 0.1 or 10% as needed. Decision making using the AHP method The legal criteria show the highest value found in the improvement of supervision and monitoring of domestic waste disposal in the management of domestic waste on the Kamal coast with a value of 3,148. The economic criteria in the table shows the highest number of people's behavior in disposing of domestic waste and monitoring of domestic waste disposal on the Kamal coast with a value of 4,512. The ecological criteria shown in the table show the highest number of improvements in supervision and conservation of coastal land with a value of 3,830. In the social criteria in the table shows the highest number in the regulation of domestic waste management and the behavior of people disposing of domestic waste with a value of 7,026. The alternative with the biggest weight is considered capable of representing domestic waste management strategies in the kamal coastal environment.Keywords: Domestic Waste, Analytyc Hierarchy Process

Abstract

ABSTRAKRumput laut jenis Eucheuma cottonii  merupakan salah satu jenis rumput laut penghasil karaginan. Karaginan sangat penting peranannya sebagai stabilisator (pengatur keseimbangan), thickener (bahan pengental), pembentuk gel, pengemulsi, koloid pelindung, penggumpal dan pencegah kristalisasi. Sifat ini sangat dimanfaatkan dalam industri makanan, obat-obatan, kosmetik, tekstil, cat, pasta gigi dan industri lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas karaginan rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii di Desa Aengdake, Desa Lobuk dan Desa Pagar Batu Kecamatan Bluto Kabupaten Sumenep. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii pada stasiun perairan Desa Pagar Batu memiliki kualitas karaginan terbaik diantara sampel rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii yang didapat pada masing-masing stasiun penelitian. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan kadar air sampel karaginan terendah dengan jumlah 16,67%, nilai viskositas tertinggi dengan jumlah 63,33 cP dan nilai kerapuhan sampel terkecil dengan jumlah 5,68 cm.Kata kunci: Eucheuma cottonii, kualitas karaginanABSTRACTEucheuma cottonii seaweed is one type of seaweed that produces carrageenan. Carrageenan is very important in its role as a stabilizer (balance regulator), thickener (thickener), gelling agent, emulsifier, protective colloid, coagulant and preventing crystallization. This property is widely used in the food industry, medicine, cosmetics, textiles, paints, toothpaste and other industries. This study aims to determine the quality of carrageenan seaweed Eucheuma cottonii in Aengdake, Lobuk and Pagar Batu, Bluto District, Sumenep Regency. The results obtained from this study indicate that the Eucheuma cottonii seaweed at the Pagar Batu water station has the best carrageenan quality among the Eucheuma cottonii seaweed samples obtained at each research station. This is evidenced by the lowest sample water content of carrageenan with the amount of 16.67%, the highest viscosity value with the amount of 63.33 cP and the smallest sample fragility value with the amount of 5.68 cm.Key words: Eucheuma cottonii, carrageenan quality
