Abstract

The teaching learning process done by teacher plays important role of its success, but some of them still see it as just a knowledge transfer from teacher to student. Sometimes learning strategy used was just to give information and teacher-centered without involving the students to be active in the process. So, the teacher found his/her student sleeping or playing around during the class resulting their low study result in the subject Basic Job of Automotive. This research purpose is to know the difference of the teaching model Quantum Teaching and direct teaching on the study result of subject Basic Jobs of Automotive of Tenth Grade student of TKR SMK karsa Mulya 2014/2015. Based on the research results, it is known that there is a different study result when students taught with Quantum Teaching model in the posttest of experiment group where the average is 77,21 while the kontrol group had 68,25. From the normality test the data was found normally distributed for both group. For the t test, the tcalc > ttable (3,11 > 1,7). Hence, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Abstract

Interactive multimedia in the learning process is a learning system that present the subject material as animations, pictures, recorded videos with computer control to the student who is not only listen, watch videos and voices, but also to give active responses that determine the speed and sequence of the presentation. The purposes of this research are: (1) to develop media on the subject material fuel engines in the tenth grade of TSM smk Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya 2014/2015; (2) to describe student study results after the learning using interactive multimedia developed for fuel engines; (3) to describe students response on the learning by using interactive multimedia for subject material fuel engines. This research is a procedural development research in which a development that shows steps to be followed to produce a certain product. In this research a learning tool which is an interactive multimedia is developed for the subject material fuel engines. Instruments to be used are material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, classroom observation sheets, final tests, and students response. Validation sheets are obtained to determine whether the media is good enough to be used as learning media. Based on the research results, it can be concluded: (1) interactive multimedia produced is good and can be used as learning media; (2) from 16 students who join the learning, 14 students passed while 2 students did not pass, based on the KKM that should be ? 75; (3) students response on the learning using interactive multimedia got the score 738 with average 4,61 which means very good. It is then concluded that the interactive multimedia developed in this research can be used as a learning media.

Abstract

The use Based on obsevation by doing interview with productive teacher show that learning approach which was implemented still use conventional method, that was discourse which commonly used although when completing the task discussion model was implemented among classmate only. It was because the teacher could not yet adjust himself with 2013 curriculum which just implemented of Xth grade student’s SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya. It couse learning process became monotonous and sends to be centered on the teacher only. So, by these problems, in this research cooperative learning of snowball throwing type was implemented to increase student’s learning result. The research using experiment quasi method by nonequivalent control group design research. The researchpopulation was whole the student of Teknik Gambar Bangunan grade X of SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya ini academic year 2014/2015 which amount 28 students consist of 16 students as experiment class and 12 students as control class was determined by the teacher of building contruction. The design approach that used ini this research kuantitative approach. This researc had done on November 2014. The data is taken from the data of student’s learning result. The result of the study showed that experiment group and control group work well (2,68 < 5,99) and the homogenoun (1,333 < 2,72). The average post test result of exsperiment group was 83,125 and control group was 68. The data technique analyze that used in this research was Uji-t, and based on the Uji-t calculation of the post test data showed that thitung 5,404 and ttabel 2,05 at 5% siqnifikansi level which mean thitung > ttabel (5,404 > 2,05). So H0 was refused and Ha was accepted. So, it can be concluded that the average student’s learning result on the parts of building construction material which taught by cooperative learning model of snowball throwing type was higher than the Student’s learning result which taught by discourse method. Therefore cooperative learnig model of snowball throwing type influenced the Student’s learning result on the part of building contruction material.

Abstract

The difficulties encountered by the students to understand the material using Tools-Measuring Instrument (Measuring Tools) learning model Conventional can be seen on the learning outcomes of students who reach a level of mastery learning by 52% and 48% of student learning outcomes are not reached KKM that existed at the school is 70. This study aims to determine the effect of the learning model TPS student learning outcomes on the material using Tools - Measuring Tools (Measuring Tools) in class X SMK Karsa MulyaPalangkaraya Academic Year 2015/2016. This study uses pretest and posttest control group design. The study population was a class X Lightweight Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Motorcycle A. This study sampled by simple random sampling classes and class X results obtained as a class Light Vehicle Engineering Experiment with the number of 40 students, and the class X Motorcycle Engineering A as a control class with the number of 38 students. Data is collected using the test, which consisted of pretest and posttest. The collected data were analyzed statistically using the average - average pretest, posttest and the difference in the two - average. Based on the results of data analysis of pretest value, there was an average class experiment (53.36) and the control class (51.76). It can be categorized not good, because it has not reached the KKM. Posttest data value - average class experiment (81.30) and the control class (71.34) were meaning that the class has reached KKM with a considerable level difference between before and after the treatment given deberikan Treatment (treatment). From the results of the analysis showed that the results of class X student of SMK Karsa Mulya Palangkaraya Normal distribution. Based on statistical analysis we concluded that "There Influence Learning Model TPS (Think Pair and Share) on the material using Tools Measure (Measuring Tools) in class X SMK TKR Karsa Mulya Palangkaraya". Based on these results it shows that the effect of student learning outcomes that occur in class experiments with learning model TPS is better than than the control class with conventional learning models on the material using Tools Measure.

Abstract

Jobsheet is a printed media by which the making process is by printing or offset. This printed media delivers its message through letters and pictures illustrated to make clearer message or information in order for the students to learn independently with or without tutorial. The purposes of this research are: (1) to develop jobsheet media for the practice of manual electric welding for tenth grade of TKR SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya 2014/2015; (2) to describe practice results after learning using jobsheet media developed for manual electric welding; (3) to describe students response on the learning using jobsheet media. Development model used here is procedural model that is a descriptive model that shows steps to be followed to produce certain product. In this research something to be developed is a learning device in a jobsheet of the study material Manual Electric Welding. Instruments to be used is a validation sheet from a material expert, a validation sheet from a media expert, and student response questionnaire. Validation sheet obtained to determine the appropriateness of the media to be used in learning. Based on the research result it can be concluded: (1) development result shows jobsheet can be used in the practice of manual electric welding, and from the material expert it is obtained score 49 with average 4,08 which means good. From the media expert the score is 47 with average 4,7 which means very good. (2) student study results using jobsheet shows all students finish, as per the KKM which is ? 75; (3) student response results on 8 aspects were presented to the students. From the field assesment score 533 is obtained with average 4,16 which means very good. It is then concluded that jobsheet development can be used in learning media.

Abstract

The low students study results in the learning activity using mechanic measurement devices is a background of the problem, caused by teacher’s teaching method is still using a conventional approach which is just a verbal lecture without using computer media, it can be seen from student’s low study results. This research aims to find out the level of students’ comprehention on the subject material with the number student of 30. The research is designed in three stages which are pretest stage, learning stage, and post test stage. Data collecting method to be used are documentation, dan test method. Instruments to be used are test and questionnaire. This research is a descriptive research that had been done on the tenth grade student of TKR SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya tahun ajaran 2014/2015. The student achievement level reached 83,4%. It means that learning process using tutorial video on the subject material Using mechanic measurement devices is achieved as per the achievement level criteria of learning process which is 80-100%. It can be concluded that learning model CAI (Computer Assistance Instruction) in the form of tutorial video can be used as an alternative in delivering subject material Using the mechanic measurement devices.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the compressive strength and split tensile strength of concrete using the waste of ceramic sherd. Ceramic was used to replace gravel as coarse aggregate with percentage of 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. This study was an experimental study using cylindrical test objects measuring 15 cm in diameter and 30 cm high. The total number of specimen are 50 pieces consisting of 30 test specimens for compressive strength testing and 20 specimens for testing the split tensile strength. Testing was done by using a Universal Testing Materials at the age of 14 days and 28 days.Based on the test results of compressive strength at 14 days old, the values obtained compressive strength of an average 8.77 MPa, 9.84 MPa, 10.27 MPa, 11.07 MPa, 12.07 respectively for the percentage of ceramic sherd 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Results of testing compressive strength at 28 days obtained the compressive strength average 12.47 MPa, 12.20 MPa, 8.67 MPa, 11.57 MPa, 12.00 respectively for the percentage of ceramic sherd 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Results of testing the split tensile strength at 14 days old values obtained for tensile strength an average of 4.80 MPa, 6.30 MPa, 4.75 MPa, 6.30 MPa, 6.15 respectively for the percentage of ceramic sherd 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Results of testing the split tensile strength at 28 days showed that the value of tensile strength an average 5:55 MPa, 6.50 MPa, 4.90 MPa, 6.35 MPa, 7.55 respectively for the percentage of ceramic sherd 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%
