Abstract

ABSTRACT. The purpose of this community service was to train teachers how toimplement the 2013 curriculum. The target of this program was all teachers of JabalNoor Integrated Islamic Junior High School (called SMPIT) in Medan Krio,Sunggal, Deli Serdang North Sumatera. It was hoped from this program thatthe teachers are more professional in teaching and learning process. This programuses an active learning approach, where the participants involved must be ableto actively participate in activities and assistance in implementing the 2013curriculum. The results showed a change in mindset among 30 teachers aboutthe 2013 curriculum as an effort to encourage interactive learning. Amongthem, there are 25 people who are getting better at implementing the 2013curriculum in the following aspects:) curriculum ideas and designs, 2)approaches in the curriculum, 3) understanding in conveying curriculumconcepts. Abstract

The reason for this examination was to decide the significance of Mendeley's reference to the board programming and to prepare instructors in arranging references in the planning of logical papers. This exploration is a result of network administration that has been done by teachers at the 1 Medan State Junior High School. This examination technique is subjective with a contextual investigation approach. This investigation requests that the educator record methods of masterminding logical papers in sorting out references utilizing reference the board programming, for example, Mendeley in entering references and gathering a list of sources. The subjects of this investigation were 16 instructors from SMP Negeri 1 Medan. The outcomes got from this examination are that instructors can look for references from sources, for example, Google Scholar, and add to Mendeley references, can improve definite data on the data that has been acquired, and can synchronize the Microsoft Word application. From this examination, it very well may be reasoned that Mendeley's reference the executives programming has the exactness of composing citations and arrangements of references which altogether helps educators recorded as a hard copy logical papers.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The community service is carried out in Rahuning Village RahuningDistrict Asahan Regency. Rahuning Village has a special characteristic, namely that every house yard has one or the other than rambutan trees. So far, rambutan seeds have not been used but thrown away as waste. The service provides information andinterest in using rambutan seeds to become chips. These rambutan seed chips aresnacks or light snacks that function as antidiabetes. The manufacturing process isrelatively easy. The main process is the crushing/ slab process. This chips can also be varied with the addition of herbs or spices and other mixed ingredients such as tapioca flour, wheat flour, sago, flour, cornstarch , and others. These rambutan seed chips are a light snack as an additional food that functions as an anti-diabetic and provides additional economic value for local residents. Rambutan seeds, which have been categorized as waste, can now be used as a light snack in the form of chips which function as antidiabetes. Keywords: chips, rambutan seeds, antidiabetes.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide knowledge to the community about various fish management and good packaging methods to make it more modern, durable, and hygienic. The establishment of a Cakalang fish processing product center to become Shredded, increases the ability of business management in the community. While the methods used are counseling, practice, and discussion. The result of this program is the increasing ability of the community in managing fish into various processed, nutritious and high economic values, as well as evaluation efforts such as taste quality, marketing strategies, halal certification, and product permits. This program is a medium for sharing and changing the perspective of the community to jointly increase community empowerment to be prosperous and have a better income.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The goal of this community service is to produce Imla textbok forintegrated Islamic elementary school, Pesantren Baitussalam, Simalungun. There are six teachers of Imla’ mentored in this program. The program was held at pesantren Baitussalam for 3 days. To achieve the goal, we conducted a workshop (intensive dialogue and direct practice). After doing this, we found that first, the teacher’s ability is very qualified to teach the subject i.e imla. It is because most of them were graduated from pesantren, second, the teachers have succeeded in producing syllabus and textbooks of Imla from grade 1 to 6— which is structured according to the level of students. It is hoped further activities that the syllabus and textbooks are taught by IT-based learning model. Keywords: Imla’, textbook, pesantren

Abstract

 ABSTRACT. Research on the Role of Religion in Addressing CommunityAnxiety related to the Covid-19 Pandemic was conducted from 18 July 2020 - 17August 2020. This study aims to examine the role of religion in overcomingsociety regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The subjects in this study were 14people from various regions in North Sumatra. The research used a methodbased on data purposive sampling, namely the selection of samples based on factson the sample with the aim of obtaining data that was in accordance with thepurpose of the study. The results show that total respondents have complaintsabout the Covid-19 pandemic. Where is the anxiety that arises when hearingabout the development of the Covid-19 case and the increasingly widespreadspread of the Covid-19 pandemic. Then, from the data obtained, it is also knownthat all respondents can overcome their anxiety by carrying out religious ordersand sticking to religion. Abstract

Through the Fairy Tale Method with props, where children are invited to develop their own children's affections. Furthermore, teachers play a role in orienting children to understand the moral messages contained in, a fairy tale that is conveyed by using a media that is more interesting, so that images that can enhance children's affection in the process carried out in Early Childhood Class Yasmin TK DR. Cipto Mangunkusumo, Bandar Jawa Village, Bandar District, Simalungun Regency. To obtain data through testing and observation with data collection tools such as observation sheets for children and teachers and the test as an evaluation material at the end of each cycle that aims to determine changes in the ability of children to develop affection in the fairytale method. There are several conclussions: The level of affection of children in Cycle I there were 18 children  66.67%) reached the level of completeness ≥ 70, this means the child had not reached classical completeness and was in the Fair criteria. While in Cycle II there were 23 children who had reached mastery levels ≥ 70 (85.18%). So in Cycle II an increase in affection which has reached the Good category.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This Community service was carried out at the Bani Adam As Orphanage which is located at Jalan Mangaan 3 Pasar 2 Mabar, Medan Deli District. This orphanage cares for and meets the needs of orphans and neglected children, from food to school needs from elementary to high school levels. Currently, Bani Adam As Orphanage High School students does not yet have adequate computer laboratories so that their ability to use computer applications is still very limited. For this reason, in order to increase students' abilities in using computer applications, especially to improve graphic design skills, training was conducted to improve graphic design skills for Bani Adam As Orphanage High School Students. Abstract

Pedamaran is a subdistrict in the district of Ogan Komering Ilir, South Sumatera. Its inhabitants are comprised of Penesak and lake-clan tribes. The language is a Penesak language. Penesak is a language that is also equivalent to the Ogan language. Scattered in the area of Meranjat, Tanjung Batu, and base of the fortress. Population 45,448 people with Islamic religion99.9 percent. With society's potential of the Muslim majority, it is appropriate to do social service on Islamic education financing. Islamic education financing is managed with the accuracy of education financing management. This is a strategic concept to assist in absorbing the budget of Madrasah and how to manage the school's finances appropriately. From this social service, we hope that Islamic education institutions can be more advanced, especially in rural areas.
