Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze scientific articles on the theme of character education research in Islamic boarding schools. This research analysis uses VosViewer through a bibliometric approach; article references are obtained from the Google Scholar database with the publish or perish application. Character education in Islamic boarding schools is a reference in the search process. Found 996 articles that are considered relevant related topics. The research period used as a document indexed by Google Scholar is from 2019–2022. The results of the study focused on finding and analyzing topics and themes related to character education in Islamic boarding schools and other data analysis. Keywords about character education in Islamic boarding schools are associated with 4 clusters and 189 links, for a total link strength of 1754. The results of the analysis of the development of publications in the 2019–2022 period indicate that research on character education in Islamic boarding schools tends to be popular and has been carried out by many researchers. The highest number of publications in 2022 is 370, and the least is 155. Researchers analyzed published articles about character education in Islamic boarding schools and their relation to problem areas using VosViewer. This study can be a starting point for research related to further research regarding research on Islamic boarding schools and other research developments related to the world of Islamic boarding schools in general.

Abstract

The development of the era is so rapid, making technology has become part of people's lives. The world of education is no exception, which is increasingly demanded to be able to adapt to the times. Education in the era of society 5.0, which is very closely related to 21st century skills, inspired the Indonesian government to present a new breakthrough curriculum, namely the independent learning curriculum. This also has an effect on concepts and learning systems that are more advanced and flexible, thus demanding all elements of the school to continue to develop and adapt, especially to Islamic Religious Education subjects. The purpose of writing this article is to describe and analyze the problems of implementing the independent curriculum in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at SMAN 12 Bandung. This approach uses qualitative methods, through a phenomenological approach. The results of this study state that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in schools still faces various problems, especially in the aspects of teachers, students, and infrastructure. This is evidenced by the effectiveness of the learning concept of the Independent Curriculum which has not been maximized.

Abstract

Religious Education (Tauhid) is one of the important programs that parents should provide to their children. It is the primary responsibility of parents to introduce their children to their God and instill love for their God, Allah, and His messenger Muhammad SAW, so that their pure nature can acknowledge the divinity of Allah. Through this religious education, children's souls are filled, enabling them to understand their own tasks and life purposes from an early age and behave according to His guidance. However, it is regrettable that nowadays many parents neglect religious education (Tauhid) within the family. Most parents consider education only focused on obtaining higher education that will facilitate finding a job, or they realize the importance of religious education (Tauhid) but start it too late. The purpose of this research is to determine the extent of the parents' role in teaching religious education (Tauhid) within the family and its implementation in daily life. This research uses a qualitative method, gathering data from interviews with several representative respondents. The research results indicate that the parents' background does not influence the process of teaching religious education (Tauhid) to their children. It is the awareness of faith that motivates parents to educate their children in religious matters (Tauhid). The facilities available at home, such as TV and smartphones, greatly influence the success of parents in educating their children in religious matters (Tauhid).

Abstract

This research aims to increase the competency of PAI teachers in making lesson plans through continuous academic supervision at assisted schools in Lubuklinggau City. This type of research is school action research that focuses on the role of academic supervision in preparing lesson plans which consist of two cycles consisting of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Techniques and Methods Data collection was carried out by interviews, questionnaires, observation. Research results. In Cycle I, teachers who had made and collected lesson plans from the beginning were continued in Cycle I, meeting 1 and meeting 2. It was found that there was an increase from 37% to 56%, in cycle I, meeting 2, it increased again to 85%, but there was still a discrepancy between teaching and planning. It turns out that the quantity of teachers after continuous supervision has increased. In Cycle II, it can be said that the competence of teachers in compiling lesson plans increased, due to an increase in teachers from 30% to 60% at the end of cycle I, and increased again in Cycle II to 80% of teachers who received a B (Good) grade based on the authenticity of the lesson plan prepared by the teacher. due to scenario compatibility.

Abstract

The Islamic religious education system in schools is a form of elaboration of the mandate of Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, in order to prepare students to become human beings of faith and piety and morality, but in practice they have drawn criticism from the public that PAI in schools So far, it has been assessed that it only equips students with religious knowledge (cognitive) with less emphasis on practical aspects (affective and psychomotor). If it is necessary to develop PAI itself, so that PAI is not only limited knowledge but can also be practiced in everyday life both at school and in the everyday environment. Both by teachers, and students. Therefore, it is necessary to build a religious culture in religious activities in schools to enhance affective practice in harmony with educational goals. The purpose of writing this article is to implement a cultural-religious system in shaping the character of students at Assalaam Middle School Bandung. This approach uses qualitative, through the case study method. The results of this study state that the implementation of religious culture has been running for a long time and is also supported by a special curriculum, namely the greeting curriculum which is a means of religious culture in schools. Even though it has been implemented, there are still obstacles and problems experienced by the Principal, PKS Curriculum, Student Affairs, PAI teachers and students. As a form of overcoming problems and obstacles.

Abstract

History related to sequence of events and each event occurs at a certain time, likewise in Islamic history. Islamic history reveals the phenomena based on the facts of the historical development of Muslims from era to era. The purpose of this study was to analyze the contents of the teaching material of History of Islamic Culture students at the VIII grade Madrasah Tsanawiyah level published by the Indonesian Ministry of Religion in 2013 Curriculum. This study used library research, with descriptive analysis techniques through some literature. The results of this study indicate that the student book on the subject of History of Islamic Culture at the VIII grade has presented a material based on cognitive, affective, psychomotor domain, and students psychological development. Thus, it is expected that teachers can convey the material using variety methods, so that the students can easily understand and not bored, so learning goals can be achieved and improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The phenomenon of religious radicalism has become a global threat of the 21st century, the phenomenon is the result of Islam as an alleged religion and is often associated with terrorist religions. Educational institutions are often "suspected" in creating a generation of terrorists because the content of Islamic Religious Education Studies is dogmatic, indoctrination, and related to the spirit of da'wah that confirms truth claims. However, the substance of instructional materials used in high school does not contain inclusive religious content so as to create exclusive and intolerant religious behavior among high school students. The purpose of this study; 1). Provide a foothold among students of theological and sociological thought and behavior in order to have an inclusive and tolerant religiosity 2). Disseminating and seeding inclusive and tolerant ideas and behaviors of religiosity as a form of resistance ideology (deradicalization). 3). Fill the void of Islamic Religious Education literature Study of a special model of inclusive diversity relevant to mainstream Islam in Indonesia. To counteract religious radicalism among students, Islamic Religious Education Studies teaching materials must contain religiously inclusive content that includes Islamic teachings as the religion of Rahmatan Lil Alamin, a religion of tolerance supported by Qur'anic arguments and hadith. By using this teaching material model, it is expected that high school students will have inclusive religious behaviors that are relevant to the character and mainstream of Indonesian Islam in order to prevent radicalism among high school students.

Abstract

͞So far, many people think that achieving academic success is a challenge. High intelligence requires high intellectual intelligence (IQ). other factors that influence One of them is emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is a person's ability to recognize his own emotions, control them, be motivated, recognize the feelings of others and train the ability to relate to others. While learning outcomes are learning achievements from a learning activity that is carried out based on measurement and assessment of the results of learning activities in the academic field which are manifested in the form of numbers in report cards. The method used in this research is quantitative with a total sample of 32 students from class VII A SMP IT Annibras. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which emotional intelligence influences student learning outcomes in PAI subjects, which will later become a reference for schools in efforts to improve student learning outcomes. The Emotional Intelligence of class VII students at SMP IT Annibras is in a very high classification with a percentage of 92.1% as well as student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects which are also very high with a percentage of 86.8%. The correlation is 70.6% with the hypothesis that there is a relationship between Emotional Intelligence and student PAI learning outcomes in the strong correlation classification, the effect is also 50% with the statement that Emotional Intelligence influences student PAI Learning Outcomes, in the sense that student PAI learning outcomes are influenced 50% by intelligence emotional and 50% beyond emotional intelligence

Abstract

In learning Aqidah Akhlak for madrasah ibtidaiyah students it is necessary to have a way to increase students' understanding and ability towards the concept of learning Aqidah Akhlak, thus applying the simulation method in learning is an effective way. The simulation method is a technique in learning that can stimulate students to practice real situations. in a controlled environment. This study aims to be able to find out the results of the effectiveness of applying the simulation method in teaching aqidah morals madrasah ibtidaiyah students. The results of this study prove that the application of the simulation method in learning aqeedah morals can improve students' understanding and skills significantly. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the simulation method madrasah ibtidaiyah students in teaching morals of aqidah is an effective and innovative learning alternative. Therefore it is suggested that teachers can apply this method in the process of learning morals and aqidah in madrasah ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

In the current 4.0 era, literacy is one of the most important things for a person's survival to study well and be educated. Some people are only able to read textually so that the level of reading starting from literacy, interpretive, critical and creative understanding has not been seen. Research Objectives: (1) To find out the views of mufasir in understanding iqra'; (2) To find out how to read the signs of the times in the 4.0 era? This study uses the thematic interpretation method with a conceptual analysis approach. The verses are collected on the same theme as the problem raised and analyzed in detail. The results of the study: (1) The view of the mufasir in understanding iqra' is fi'il amar (read command verb). (2) Reciting iqra' (reading) the signs of the times in the 4.0 era is urgently needed in order to educate people from being consumptive to a productive society.
