Abstract

Behind this research is the problem of the English learning process in improving the quality of learners (Case Study On Speaking at Sma Negeri 1 Cicalengka and Sma Negeri Cikancung Bandung Regency) the english learning process has tended to be centered on teachers, generally teachers convey learning in the classroom with conventional methods and based on the results of interviews with English teachers aspects of Speaking Skill do not reach the Criteria of Completion so far. It has no effect on the quality of English learning. English learning is inseparable from the role of learning management where teachers plan, implement and evaluate various actions carried out in carrying out learning activities including utilizing various media and learning methods that make it easier for students to achieve learning goals, especially learning English on speaking aspects. To overcome this, what teachers can do is prepare learning by applying learning management. The aim of this study is to find out about learning planning using Project Learning methods in improving the speaking aspect recommending that the Project Learning method can be one of the preferred learning methods and apply it to improve students' English speaking

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the religious development student trought the development of religious culture at SMP Negeri 10 Bandung. The result of the study showed that the implementation of coaching student’s religious through the development of religious culture at SMP Negeri 10 Bandung has been going well and programmed, both conducted by the school as an educational institution that is intact with the wisdom which relate to the development of the religious culture in school and community activities undertaken by Rohis (The Spiritual of Islam) as a kind of special school extracurricular activities shade other religious activities. This success can be achieved due to the efforts of the principal and the support of the entire school community by showing commitment each of which takes place together and support each other

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning independence and learning outcomes of students in teaching and learning activities of Islamic Religious Education in distance learning. Based on the preliminary study, it is known that there are still around 40 percent of the average for each class, students who do not participate in learning activities. At the end of the semester assessment, it is known that there are still 50.43 percent of students who score below the minimum completeness criteria. This study aims to describe the application of the google classroom and edpuzzle platforms in PAI subjects. The research approach used is a quantitative type of experimental study in the form of a quasi-experimental model of nonequivalent pre-test and post-test control group design. The research population is class XI IPA SMAN 4 Sukabumi and the samples are class XI IPA 5 experimental group and class XI IPA 4 control group. The research instrument used was a questionnaire of 45 questions, a test of 25 items, observations, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed using statistical tests. The results showed that the implementation of the google classroom and edpuzzle platforms could be carried out properly according to the stages of learning planning. Students' learning independence with the implementation of the google classroom platform is in good category with an average pretest score of 59.25 and an average posttest score of 79.20 which has increased by 20.05 percent, while the class independence score using the lecture method is in the sufficient category. the average pretest score was 57.55 and the posttest score was 67.85, an increase of 10.29 percent. Cognitive learning outcomes of students with the application of the google classroom and edpuzzle platforms in the very good category with an average pretest score of 77.03 and an average posttest score of 84.67, an increase of 7.64 percent, while the results of classroom learning using the method lectures in the good category, with an average pretest of 77.43 and an average posttest value of 79.51 and an increase of 2.08 percen.

Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of learning require positive changes, to be able to manage learning effectively and efficiently an educator requires knowledge of learning models and strategies. Therefore, in learning reform, what should be done is how to change the pattern of learning activities that can create a learning atmosphere and the learning process feels more interesting. Quality learning strategies are one form of effort to change the pattern of learning models that have been used in the learning process. All activities of educators and students in realizing an effective learning process are formed in a combination of the stages of activities, methods, learning media and the time used in learning activities are summarized in the learning strategy. The purpose of this study was to determine the models and strategies in the learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The data sources of this research come from books, journals and scientific articles related to learning models and strategies. The results of the study show that the right learning strategy will foster students to be more creative and independent. The selection of appropriate learning models and strategies will be able to foster students to be able to think creatively, independently and adaptively to various situations that occur and may occur. Educators think about and prepare appropriate learning models and strategies so that students are able to receive and process information conveyed by educators.

Abstract

Wayang kulit is part of the form of local Indonesian culture, which has existed and survived since the time of the ancestors. Puppet shows are not only intended for entertainment, but also contain noble values ​​that can be realized in every aspect of life in the world. The art of wayang kulit has developed as a means of inculcating the value of life which is quite effective in achieving educational goals. In this day and age, there are many educational problems in Indonesia, including the education system that is not good, the quality of education is not evenly distributed, the facilities and infrastructure are very worrying, the quality of education personnel (teachers) is not paid attention to, the curriculum is always patchy. In the wayang purwa story, Dewa Ruci's play has something to do with educational values ​​that can be applied today, which tells of the obedience of a student named Raden Wijasena, who is very persistent in seeking knowledge. The purpose of this study is to describe the educational values ​​contained in the Dewa Ruci puppet story. The story can be used as a contribution to education in Indonesia. The method used is literature study. Through this method, the problems contained in this paper can be solved. The educational values ​​contained in the play include: the importance of the value of perseverance, tenacity, belief and trust in one's choice of knowledge (art), professions, educational interventions and teachers are only facilitators and means in achieving educational goals.

Abstract

Moral education is very important to be encouraged because it is part of religion, especially at this time the phenomenon of the decline in student morals is very visible and clear which illustrates the failure of the educational process in schools, the lack of role of moral education in the family and the indifferent attitude of some people so that a generation with mentality is born. thugs, irresponsible etc. This study aims to describe the values ​​of moral education in Az-Zarnuji's perspective which is contained in his work in the field of morals, namely the book Ta'lîm Al-Muta'allim Tharîq At-Ta'allum which is the teaching material for students in traditional Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. Indonesia. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research type research library with historical and philosophical approaches. The results of the study show that the book of ta'limul muta'allim explains all aspects of morality, namely (1). Student morality towards God. (2). Students' morals towards themselves, (3). Morals of students towards teachers, (4). Student morals towards parents, (5). Student behavior towards friends, (6). Student morality towards science, (7). Student behavior when studying.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the professionalism of teachers as educators in order to improve the quality of education along with efforts to increase professionalism based on religion, philosophy, psychology, and sociology. This study uses qualitative research methods based on literature review or library research. The results of this study are : (1) Being an exemplary and professional teacher, must be based on the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad and in sync with the Qur'an; (2) The philosophy of idealism is very important in education because at this stage, teachers must be able to bring out all the potential in students, both rationally and realistically; (3) Educational psychology as a tool for teachers to control themselves, and also provide learning assistance to students; (4) The role of the teacher in the perspective of the sociology of education can invite and direct the behaviour of students to actively socialize and communicate.

Abstract

The purpose of supervising education carried out by the principal is to help teachers in schools to be able to carry out their duties as educators and teachers to the maximum to create a better learning situation. This research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The technique of collecting data is observation, interview and documentation. While data analysis uses data reduction, played data and data harmony. The results of the study showed that a) The academic supervision program conducted at SMPN 2 Cimenyan Bandung Regency, consists of a series of activities initiated by determining supervision objectives, curriculum development, evaluation of learning devices, evaluation of teacher teaching methods, evaluation of learning activities, and development of student learning experiences. b) The implementation of supervision in this school is considered effective considering that the purpose of the implementation of supervision has been realized. The purpose of implementing the supervision is to achieve the development of teacher competencies, teachers are helped in developing the curriculum, teachers are able to develop MGMP (Subject teacher deliberation) activities, and teachers are helped to carry out Class Action Research (PTK). c) Supervision techniques carried out are: 1) Class visits, 2) School visits, 3) Impromptu exams, 4) Case conferences, 5) Document Observations, 6) Interviews, 7) Questionnaires, 8) Reports. d) Internal constraints in the implementation of academic supervision experienced by principals and teachers in increasing supervision including school quality competition are increasingly heavy. While external constraints include managing the demands of accountability from the higher society and follow-up supervision of the principal consists of fostering a learning process that includes direct coaching and indirect coaching. The next follow-up activity is the stabilization of academic supervision instruments, which include fostering the learning process and stabilizing supervising instruments.

Abstract

Higher education is the highest level of the education system, where graduates of undergraduate programs are expected to be competent and ready to work. Universities have a strategic role and great responsibility in the process of developing quality Indonesian human resources. Therefore, KKNI is used as a reference in creating learning outcomes for graduates of all levels of education at the national level. To achieve this, all universities refer to the KKNI in making or developing higher education curricula. The application of the curriculum that refers to the KKNI aims to clarify how individuals or graduates have a profile and learning outcomes that are expected and will be achieved by students after attending lectures. This paper aims to examine the implementation of the IQF-Based Curriculum in Higher Education. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method based on literature review or library research. The results of the study show that the implementation of the IQF-based curriculum has a significant impact both for lecturers as educators and for students, especially in improving skills and forming a better attitude. Based on this, the IQF curriculum is good to implement.

Abstract

The learning process, which usually occurs face-to-face in schools, was suddenly forced to switch to online learning to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. This kind of situation and condition greatly affects the learning motivation of students, many of the students have decreased their learning motivation. This study wants to find out whether there is an influence on communication skills and motivating PAI teachers on the learning motivation of students in the pandemic era, where at this time learning is carried out online and how much influence it has. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a survey method using an online questionnaire in the form of a g-form. The results of the study are: (1) there is an influence between the communication skills of PAI teachers on the learning motivation of students in the Covid-19 pandemic era (2) there is an influence between the skills of motivating PAI teachers on the learning motivation of students in the Covid-19 pandemic era. (3) there is a simultaneous influence between communication skills and motivating PAI teachers on the learning motivation of students during the Covid-19 pandemic era, this is indicated by the value of the double correlation coefficient of 0.650 or the coefficient of determination of 42.3%.
