Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze how much influence the level of Integrity has on Employee Work Productivity at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of West Pasaman Regency. The background for conducting this research is because there are still cases found in the field that the productivity of employees at the agency is not yet optimal. One example is that the target of making e-KTP for citizens has not been achieved. If it is percentaged, it is still around 10.75% of the people who have not recorded their e-KTP. This research uses quantitative methods with associative quantitative types. Data was collected by questionnaire and supported by study documentation. Using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique and using the Slovin formula at a margin of error of 3%, a sample of 60 respondents was obtained. Regression analysis is used to analyze field data, which has previously been tested by classical assumptions. The results showed that integrity proved to have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity by 70.1%.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has declared a new order to live side by side with COVID-19, through the idea of a "new normal". An interesting study to see how the Indonesian people respond to this new normal policy, especially in rural communities. So far, most discussions about the new normal have only been in the context of urban society. This study aims to identify the resilience of rural communities in facing the new normal situation. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data was collected using in-depth interview techniques with key actors. The research was conducted in Pulo Pitu Marihat Village, Ujung Padang District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province. This area was a red zone location when the pandemic took place, and most of the population worked in the informal sector which tended to be economically and socially vulnerable. The results show that people's ability to survive in the face of changes in the new normal transition period is influenced by individual resilience, social capital, natural resource environment, and social institutions.

Abstract

Registration for the 2024 presidential candidates began at the end of 2023, but the euphoria of the supporters of the 2024 presidential candidates began to be felt from the beginning of 2022. Several survey institutions released public opinions regarding several prospective 2024 presidential candidates. One of the approaches taken in the survey was by conducting direct interviews with the public. However, political dynamics can change the results of political surveys at great expense. Public opinion about the 2024 presidential candidates cannot only be acquired through direct interviews. Public opinion acquisition can also be done through social media such as Twitter. This article aims to find out public opinion on the candidates for the 2024 presidential candidate on Twitter social media. This article uses a Twitter dataset and data analysis tools using orange data mining. The crawling dataset was carried out using the hashtags #capres2024 and #presiden2024 and the keywords anies baswedan, prabowo subianto and ganjar pranowo with 10,000 tweet data in content written in Indonesian. Text preprocessing includes transformation, tokenization, filtering and normalization applied to data before analysis is carried out with topic modeling and sentiment towards the presidential candidates. The results of the word cloud analysis show a very high level of popularity for candidate Ganjar Pranowo, but the results of the sentiment analysis show that Ganjar Pranowo has a negative sentiment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Nagari Kamang Hilia Government in managing the Luak Gadang tourist attraction. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive type. In determining the informants by using purposive sampling methods and techniques. While the data analysis technique used by the researcher is data reduction, then data presentation and verification and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the role played by the Nagari Kamang Hilia Government in the management of the Luak Gadang tourist attraction, namely as a motivator, facilitator, and dynamist, was in accordance with the process. However, there are still obstacles faced by the Nagari Kamang Hilia Government, such as the lack of budget, supporting facilities for tourism objects, and also the lack of synergy with third parties. Therefore, the Nagari Kamang Hilia government must be more active in managing the Luak Gadang tourist attraction, so that this tour has competitiveness and is for the convenience of visiting tourists.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of SIPD policies in regional development planning in Bappeda, East Kutai Regency. This study uses George C. Edward III's theory of policy implementation which aims to determine the success rate of SIPD policy implementation in the Bappeda of East Kutai Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection needed is based on primary and secondary data from interviews, observations, documentation, which are analyzed to draw conclusions from the research problem. The findings of this study are that the implementation of SIPD has not been fully successful, because it only fulfills two indicators out of a total of four indicators of success. However, as a new policy, of course, Bappeda is already quite optimal in its implementation and will continue to be improved over time.

Abstract

The Sidoarjo Regency Communication and Information Office is a government agency that has the task of carrying out its authority in the field of communication and informatics. This study aims to analyze e-government governance using the COBIT 5 framework to determine the maturity level value. Applying descriptive qualitative research with case study methods and research data in the form of primary and secondary data derived from literature and document studies along with the results of interviews with informants from relevant agencies and several communities involved in the use of e-government. Based on the results obtained, the average value for the BAI01 domain (Managing Programs and Projects) is 1.36 and reaches maturity level 1 (Initial level) while the APO12 (Risk Management) domain is 2.33, BAI05 (Managing Organizational Change Activation) 2.57, DSS02 ( Managing Service Requests and Incidents) 2.57, and DSS04 (managing sustainability) 2.75 which means reaching maturity level 2 (Repeatable level). Thus, Diskominfo Sidoarjo can improve organizational performance by responding to and articulating the risks that occur, managing stakeholder compliance, monitoring and controlling program results, planning and iterating projects, instilling new approaches to the organization, and conducting continuous training to optimize human resources.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is the role of the village government in developing human resources in Lasori Village, East Mawasangka District, Central Buton Regency. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques namely Observation, Interview, Documentation and Literature Study. Data analysis techniques in research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained in this study are the role of the government in Lasori Village, Mawasangka Timur District, Central Buton Regency in developing human resources, including: 1) The government as a facilitator is to create conducive conditions for the implementation of development in order to bridge various community interests in optimizing regional development . With regard to human resource development, the village government facilitates the training community to conduct training, so that the community has good skills and has competitiveness; The government's role as a regulator is to prepare directives to balance the implementation of development through the issuance of regulations. As a regulator, the government provides a basic reference to the community as an instrument to regulate all development implementation activities; The government as a motivator, in forming a society that is obedient and obedient to regulations, the role of local government is needed as a motivator so that it can provide motivation to the community so that people have the will to obey and comply with regulations.

Abstract

Based on the research of previous researchers, the ratio of emotional intelligence has an effect on improving employee performance. The purpose of this literature study is to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and employee performance. In this study, researchers will analyze various previous studies that have been conducted in this field. Search for articles using Google Scholar with keywords used in Emotional Intelligence on Employee Performance. The criteria for the articles used were published in the last 4 years, namely 2019-2022, the title and content are in accordance with the research objectives, the entire text and its relationship to employee performance and employee emotional intelligence. The result of the impact of emotional intelligence on employee performance is important in business operations and has an impact on the success of the entire organization. One's emotional intelligence has a significant influence on one's personal communication. Emotionally intelligent people are able to recognize emotions, manage emotions, motivate themselves, empathize, and socialize so they can communicate with others. Based on the results of this literature study, which is theoretically based on scientific evidence, it is very important to pay attention to the emotional intelligence of an employee because it plays a very important role in success.

Abstract

Tourism activities are a combination of tourism products and services that provide a tourist experience. In tourism, transportation is essential because it is one aspect that determines interest in tourism. Exciting traveling experience will give satisfaction to tourism. Work culture and service quality are also determinants of tourist satisfaction. This study aims to indicate the influence of work culture and service quality in providing tourism satisfaction. Its influence is seen partially and simultaneously. Locus of this research at public transportation in the tourism area of Bukittingi. This research uses a quantitative approach. Data were taken from 300 respondents who have been selected using Slovin Formula. Data already obtained with a questionnaire that is valid and reliable. The result of the research showed that work culture and service quality partially and simultaneously influenced customer satisfaction.
