Abstract

Indonesian Archery Association (PERPANI) is the national organization of the sport of archery. Archery is an Olympic sport that should be competed in every Olympic Games. Indonesia has the opportunity to win a medal at the Olympics because it has won a silver medal which was the first medal for Indonesia at the 1988 Olympics. The main challenge for the Indonesian Archery Association (PERPANI) is the slow regeneration of outstanding athletes. The phenomenon that entering the world of sports as a profession for teenagers is still considered a field that cannot promise a good future. This study aims to identify and analyze the marketing public relations Strategy of the Indonesian Archery Association (PERPANI) in developing archery among teenagers. The theory used in this research is Thomas L Harris' Three Ways Strategy, namely Push, Pull and Pass and Major Tools of Marketing Public Relations Phillip Kotler & Kevin Lane Keller. The Indonesian Archery Association (PERPANI) applies Push, Pull and Push strategies, including by: (a). Produce a movie (Film) entitled 3 Srikandi, about the struggle of the trio of Three Indonesian womens archer to get Indonesia's first medal in the Olympics; (b). Invite important figures, one of which is the President as one of the participants in the archery competition; (c). Incorporating archery scenes in the opening ceremony of the Asean Para Games (Opening Ceremony of the Asian Para Games); (d). Organizing the Olympic Movement In Actions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method using a paradigm. The research data were obtained through in-depth interview techniques. Sources of data or informants are structural officials at the Indonesian Archery Association, technical data analysis using analysis from Mile and Huberman. The Indonesian Archery Association also implements Major Tools of Marketing Public Relations which consists of Publications, events, sponsorship, news, speeches, public services, identity media, event activities are activities that greatly affect the target.

Abstract

The Saudi government's decision to close access for Indonesia to be allowed to enter its territory made Indonesia for the second time cancel its annual pilgrimage, namely the pilgrimage. This study aims to identify and describe the communication strategy of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) so that Indonesia is not included in the 20 countries that are prohibited from entering Saudi Arabia. Because some countries whose COVID-19 numbers are higher or equal to Indonesia are not included in the 20 banned countries. To what extent is the communication strategy developed by the Ministry of Religion in order to convince Saudi Arabia that the implementation of Indonesian health protocols is very strict. Are the policies of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in line with the policies of the Government of Saudi Arabia. This study also took samples of several news reports according to media/media framing from Republika.co.id and several news stories from other media that were relevant to answer this research. This study shows that the Ministry of Religion's communication policies and strategies have not optimally involved civil society groups. And the communication strategy developed by the government and organizations does not show good organized interests.

Abstract

The phenomenon of online journalism requires that some providers of news content in conventional media transform themselves into multiplatform. It aims to be able to survive in the competition of the media industry. Not surprisingly, most of the conventional news media that still survive today have sites on the internet. Some only follow content from the parent company, but some others only provide additional material. These related sites operate to the same standards of practice and professionalism as their parent company does. It could be said that journalism is entering a time called a period of disruption. A period of disruption is a time when change occurs so unexpectedly, is fundamental and touches almost all joints of people's lives. And the presence of online journalism has revolutionized news where speed is a major factor. News is no longer an 'already ongoing' event, but an 'ongoing' event that should be broadcast by the media. Some features in online journalism are actually cited as a variety of causes of the erosion of idealism and credibility in online journalism. The impact of internet technology caused the online news media to undergo a radical revolution that made it different from journalism in the mass media in general.

Abstract

Game is an entertainment facility that contains games using electronic devices which involve players who make decisions through control of game objects for certain purposes, known as users. The game growth industry has developed especially in a variety of types of games which include Maze Game, Board Game, Card Game, Battle Card Game, Quiz Game, Puzzle Game, Shooting Game, First Person Shooting (FPS), Side Scrolling Game, Fighting Game , Racing Game, Simulation, Strategy Game, Role Playing Game (RPG), Adventures Game, Sport Game, and Edutainment Game. In Indonesia itself, there are a variety of online games that have sprung up, among the many types of online games that are currently being talked about is the "Among Us" game. In the process of designing and developing the concept of a game, it is very important to get to know the user who is expected to be able to play the designed game. So that it can be seen the user's process in interpreting a game, this can be explored with various approaches, one of which is using reception analysis theory. Reception Study (study of acceptance) is one that develops in cultural studies, which focuses on messages or communication discourses and has implications for audiences. In this study, the game "Among Us" contained a narrative or storyline that was presented as well as a visualization of the character design of this game. The goal to be achieved in this research is to find out the meaning of players towards the Among Us game by using a Reception Study (acceptance study) which will focus on interpretive meanings and experiences of users or game users in interacting with game media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze sales promotion strategies on the Shopee marketplace. This study uses a qualitative research methodology with library studies obtained from the media, books and journals. Shopee is still in the first place in e-commerce with the largest number of website visitors in Indonesia in the fourth quarter of 2020. The average monthly visit to Shopee in the last quarter of last year was recorded at 129.3 million. Shopee’s success is inseparable from various marketing strategies and sales promotions that attract the attention of sellers and buyers. Through sales promotions, Shopee has achieved 560 million transactions during the Covid-19 pandemic or the second and third quarters of 2020, with details of transactions reaching 260 million in the second quarter and 300 million in the third quarter, while the average transaction per day is 2.8 million. E-commerce companies like Shopee are aggressively providing sales promotions. This strategy is considered effective to attract new customers. Shopee routinely holds campaigns every month, with program names that are adjusted to the time and items being promoted.

Abstract

The shooting incident that occurred between members of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) and the police caused the death of six members of the Soldiers, which became an interesting national issue to be reported on, because from the beginning of this case there were two versions released by both parties involved so that the media would construct their reality through what they see. The construction itself is part of the framing or media frame based on ideology, political views, and the vision and mission of the media itself and can be seen through the use of language as a highlight of meaning. This became the basis for a research entitled "Construction of News on the Shooting of the Six Laskar FPI on Media Tempo.co (Analysis of Framing Robert N. Entmann, period 7 December 2020 - 27 March 2021" with the formulation of the problem of how Tempo.co framed news of shooting cases six FPI troops on Tempo.co media. One research method that is able to support researchers in analyzing this case is a qualitative research method using the framing analysis method introduced by Robert N. Entman. Researchers want to see and understand how the construction of reality and other aspects built by the media to be conveyed to the public. The object of this research is the news of the shooting of six FPI soldiers published by the online media Tempo.co for the period 7 December 2020 - 27 March 2021.

Abstract

The role of online mass media is very influential in providing information about news of acts of thuggery crimes, so that someone knows and obtains information that is happening on the phenomenon of thuggery crimes that have recently disturbed traders and visitors. This study aims to determine the effect of mass media coverage on the level of anxiety of traders and visitors to Panatayudha Sports Center. The method in this research is descriptive and verification method. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study included 100 traders and visitors to Panatayudha Sports Center. The analytical tool used in this research is simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that News of Thugs Action had an effect on the level of anxiety of traders and visitors at Panatayudha Sports Center, Karawang Regency.

Abstract

The struggle for power is actually not a new problem in Indonesian politics. Being the general chairman of the party is not only a determinant of various party policy decisions, but has a strong opportunity to be nominated in the presidential election or enter into important structures in Indonesian government institutions. So, it is not something new anymore if the position of the general chairman of the party is a position that is always contested by the party elite. Regarding news, the media must have their own way of framing news. This study aims to find out how Kompas.com frames the news of the Extraordinary Democratic Party Congress for the period 5–6 March 2021. This study uses a constructivist paradigm with a qualitative approach. The research method used in this study is Robert N. Entman's framing analysis, which has two major dimensions, namely selection of issues and highlighting aspects and has four framing elements, namely define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgments, and treatment recommendations. The results show that Kompas.com places the news of the Extraordinary Democratic Party Congress into political issues. This can be seen from the selection of sources and statements made, as well as the highlighting of the aspects shown, Kompas.com shows the contra side of Moeldoko as the Presidential Chief of Staff, then there is Marzuki Alie who is the Secretary General of the Democratic Party and Darmizal as the Deputy Chair of the Democratic Party Supervisory Commission. Moeldoko was placed as an actor causing problems that have caused a public uproar.

Abstract

In business communication there are many strategies in promotion, one of which is the promotion mix. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Promotion Mix on Brand Awareness on websites, social media, and Pricebook's YouTube channel. Pricebook is a startup company engaged in technology and information. Pricebook conveys information about product availability, online and offline stores, which are packaged in a unique and practical website. The method used is to conduct a survey that will be given to the object of website visitors as well as viewers and subscribers of Pricebook YouTube that will be studied. This research design aims to find the effect between two variables, namely Variable (X) is the Promotion Mix, while the variable (Y) is Brand Awareness. Respondents involved in this study were website visitors and Pricebook YouTube viewers/subscribers who had visited or watched Pricebook 3 times or more as many as 97 people. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling with the sampling technique method using purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate the Promotion Mix which consists of Advertising and Public Relations has a significant effect with 0.739 > 0.05, a strong correlation with a value of 0.686 and a positive effect of 47% on Brand Awareness which is supported by survey results and statistical calculations using SPSS software, in other words some of Pricebook's Brand Awareness is influenced by the Promotion Mix.

Abstract

Communication has various types, one of which is organizational communication. A person or institutional member can be influenced by his motivation through the communication of an organization. In this study, the motivation in question is learning motivation. The purpose of this research is how big or strong the influence of organizational communication on the learning motivation of students at LPK Chakra Dian Utama. LPK Chakra Dian Utama is a Japanese Language Job Training Institute (LPK) from basic level to attainment of N3 level and equips the institution with all necessary Japanese language learning facilities, in accordance with international requirements. The design of this study aims to find the effect between two variables, namely Variable (X) is Organizational Communication while Variable (Y) is Learning Motivation. Respondents involved in this study were 80 students and alumni of LPK Chakra Dian Utama graduates. The sampling technique in this study uses total sampling. The results of this study indicate that organizational communication has a sufficient influence on the learning motivation of students at LPK Chakra Dian Utama. The correlation coefficient between the two variables is 0.789. This shows that the Organizational Communication Mix on Learning Motivation has a sufficient relationship because it is between 0.60-0.799. While the coefficient of determination is 0.623, which means that 62% of Organizational Communication variables affect Learning Motivation, while the remaining 38% is influenced by factors not found in this study. The final result of this research is that organizational communication has an effect of 62% on learning motivation.
