ABDI SABHA (Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat) was published by the Center for Research and Development Indonesia (CERED Indonesia) in February, June and October this year. ABDI SABHA aims to disseminate information on scientific papers related to community service activities by academics and practitioners. ABDI SABHA accepts submissions of articles written in Indonesian and English. Determination of articles to be published is carried out through a blind review process by the editorial team by paying attention to aspects such as: meeting the requirements of scientific journal publication standards and contributing articles for professional development. The editor is responsible for providing a constructive review of the articles to be published and (if deemed necessary) as well as submitting the evaluation results of the article to the author. Articles that are proposed to be published in the journal are recommended to follow the guidelines for writing articles made by the Editor.

Abstract

Penggunaan mesin pembeku saat ini sudah menjadi kebutuhan masayarakat luas, dikarenakan sangat membantu manusia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Beban pendingin yang diberikan sangat mempengaruhi kinerja mesin Pembeku, baik dari konsumsi energi listrik maupun kemampuan yang akan meningkatkan waktu pemakaian sistem yang lebih lama. Semakin besar beban pendingin akan meningkatkan penggunaan energi listrik saat pengoperasian. Hal ini sangat megkhawatirkan dimasa kedapanya dimana isu menipisnya sumber energi fosil yang saat ini menjadi prioritas penghasil energi listrik semakin banyak  dan memenuhi media. Beberapa tahun terakhir, energi matahari diisukan menajadi jawaban dari masalah tersebut. Dimana energi panas dari matahari dimanfaatkan untuk menggerakkan proton dan elektron pada suatu media penel surya untuk menghasilkan energi listrik yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kebutuhaan masyarakat banyak. Hal ini menjadai daya tarik peneliti untuk membuat sebuah inovasi pemanfaatan energi matahari pada sebuah sistem lemari pembeku. Dilihat dari roadmap penelitian terkait dengan energi matahari dan sistem kompresi uap pada lemari pemebeku yang dilansir beberapa tahun terakhir, belum banyak dilakukan inovasi pembaruan dalam penggunaan sumber energinya. Beban pendingin yang akan digunakan akan disesuaikan dengan kapasitas dari sumber energi yang digunakan yaitu berdaya 410 WP. Dengan kapasitas lemari pembeku yang digunakan berdaya 1/4 PK yang akan ditingkatkan kemapuannya/efisiensi untuk dapat digunakan dan menggantikan lemari pembeku berenergi listrik berbayar. Hal ini diharapkan berguna bagi khalayak masyarakat dan menyumbang ilmu pengetahuan dan membantu mewujudkan roadmap universitas dimasa kedepan.

Abstract

This solar power generator system trainer is designed with a modular concept, where each component is packaged and made separately with an attractive design, equipped with the name of the component and various information about the component so that it will be easy to use, maintain and most importantly is that it can facilitate understanding the concept of the system and installation of solar power generation system units because it can be installed and assembled repeatedly, in the tests and calculations that have been carried out, on the PLTS trainer kit tool as the development of learning media for electrical installations that can be obtained at the panel surface temperature. (Tp) the average radiation is 917.9 W/m, this shows that the radiation tends to decrease because the weather is cloudy and wind gusts occur, with an average voltage of 18.97 Volts and a current of 1.8 A. PLTS is made to scale laboratory with tilt angle adjustable solar panel module and panel position to get the value of measurement parameters such as light intensity, solar panel voltage, battery voltage, battery charging current, DC output voltage, and AC inverter voltage.

Abstract

Through the service that will be carried out, namely by conducting training activities on the design of automatic clocks with solar panel resources using additional tools in the form of Arduino Uno, in order to be a solution amid the increasing population of unemployment in the city of Medan. Various Arduino Uno boards use different ± different types of Atmega depending on the specifications, for example the Arduino Uno uses the ATmega328 while the more sophisticated Arduino Mega 2560 uses the ATmega2560. The use of solar panel energy will be designed in the form of an LCD Prayer Timer and Adhan Alarm method with a 200WP solar cell resource using the Arduino Uno programming system. Therefore, the Muhammadiyah Youth Leaders of the Heroes of the Struggle Branch and Pulo Brayan Darat are expected to be foster partners in improving these very useful design skills, so that they can serve as examples to young people around in improving the economic level of skilled and creative organizations.

Abstract

The goal is to utilize the husk waste which is still very lacking, the abundant husk waste is mostly just piled up around the mill. There are also those who sell at very low prices. The husks are found in many villages. One of them is Genukwatu Village.Methods used 1. Survey of Tool and Material Availability and Reflection Product Competitors, 2 Creating Sarekamling Product Concepts and Designs, 3.Creating Virtual Product Marketing Concepts. If successfully made, this product can reduce husk waste which has been underutilized so far. In addition, this product will have a great opportunity to be developed because this product is a reflection sandal product that has several advantages over other reflection products. Sarekamling is a new breakthrough for reflective sandals using the basic material of milled husks. This sandal is combined with blackjade stone which has various health benefits. This product is expected to be an alternative health product that can be used at any time without pain but can be obtained at an affordable price. This product is pegged at a price of IDR 106,000.00.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka Program Kemitraan Masyarakat yang didanai oleh Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) melalui Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) UMSU. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat pada tanggal 26-27 Juli 2021. Adapun Peserta Kegiatan ini adalah Masyarakat Desa Perjaga dan beberapa anggota dari kecamatan yang dilibatkan untuk melestarikan kearifan local yakni gambir. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan untuk menjawab salah satu ketidaktahuan masyarakat setempat akan fungsi gambir sebagai pewarna alami dalam membatik. Peralatan membatik yang tidak ada, pengetahuan yang minim sama sekali tentang membatik merupakan dua hal yang melatarbelakangi pengabdian ini. Pengabdian masyarakat ini berjalan dengan lancar. Hampir 90 % indicator yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan peserta dalam membatik telah berhasil dilaksanakan, walaupun masih terdapat beberapa peserta yang memang sama sekali tidak mampu pada bagian-bagian membatik seperti proses pewarnaan dan mengukir kain dengan seksama. Setelah selesai pengabdian ini kami berharap masyarakat setempat sudah mampu membatik dan memanfaatkan getah gambir sebagai pewarna alami sebagai bagian dari melestraikan kebudayaan local.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa Pembuatan Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Keuangan menggunakan Management Information System (MIS) pada Koperasi Syariah Darul Adib di Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Darul Adib. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara terhadap pengelola koperasi, terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi diantaranya sistem informasi untuk mengetahui laporan stok, melakukan penjualan dan bagi hasil dari penjualan sembako secara komputerisasi. Membangun sebuah MIS yang bertujuan agar memberikan manfaat teknologi komputer dengan cara mempercepat informasi bagi Koperasi khususnya dalam pengelolaan informasi pencatatan dokumen dan laporan keuangan. Dengan adanya MIS tentunya memberikan kemudahan bagi pengelola serta anggota koperasi dalam mendapatkan informasi.

Abstract

One of the potentials owned by Desa Harang Julu, Padang Lawas Regency is livestock, especially goats. However, the excesses caused by farm animals, especially dirt, have a huge impact on health and the environment. In addition, people's habit in processing the manure to be used as compost is less optimal so that agricultural products often do not have maximum impact. Currently, during the Covid 19 pandemic that occurred all over the world, caused an economic recession and decreased income of farming families. With the activities of the training program of making fertilizer from goat manure this gives a new passion impact to farmers. This simple, effective and efficient method of making compost is a new knowledge and experience for farmers in Desa Harang Julu. This fertilizer is made by adding some materials available in nature easily and cheaply, but provides effective results, both in terms of manufacture, process and use and relatively very short use. Thus, this training provides a new hope for farmers to abandon the old way and provide solutions to the outbound economy and have a positive impact on the environment.

Abstract

The society of a nation has a vertical relationship to the quality of the nation. The high interest in reading someone's book influences one's insight, mentality, and behavior. The Indonesian nation is a nation with a low literacy level even though it has been 70 years since Indonesia became an independent country. There are many factors why Indonesian society's literacy has a low percentage. These problems must immediately get serious attention not only from the government but from all of us. How does the discourse about " interest in reading " be carried out for all people when we still have a limited number of books read? So the book donation movement is in an effort to build a culture of literacy and literacy in Indonesia and in Banten in particular. When the state of literacy becomes a culture in Indonesia, it is not impossible that our nation will be an advanced nation.

Abstract

The service carried out begins with a problem that occurs in businesses, especially Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or abbreviated as MSMEs. As a youth organization and has an entrepreneurship work program, the Serdang Bedagai Muhammadiyah Youth is not left behind in owning MSMEs. Not a few MSMEs that exist have stagnated financial conditions due to a lack of understanding of financial management. Basically, Serdang Bedagai Muhammadiyah Youth MSMEs are able to stand with the concept of manual or general financial management but not based on financial standards designed by the Accounting Standards Board – IAI on Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities. Financial management training is a tool for Muhammadiyah Youth MSMEs in Serdang Bedagai in increasing the spirit of entrepreneurship and having good and clear and accountable financial reporting.

Abstract

Violence against women is very disturbing and causes injustice to the victims. Women are often victims of violence, because they are seen as weak and unable to fight the perpetrators. One of the causes of violence against women is gender inequality which creates unequal power relations between men and women. Unfortunately, this condition is often not realized by women because of the wrong understanding of what is considered as nature, which is gender. For this reason, it is necessary to educate the public, so that women no longer experience subordination which makes them vulnerable to becoming victims. Thus, violence against women can be minimized. Through the Muhammadiyah Development Partnership Program (PKPM), training is packaged that can educate MHH 'Aisyiyah administrators’ representatives from branches throughout the city of Medan to better understand gender and violence against women. The method used in this community service activity is training which begins with orientation and pre-test to the participants. The activity ended with a post-test. The post-test results showed an increase in participants' understanding of gender, forms of gender inequality, as well as knowledge about violence against women and efforts to prevent and deal with it.
