Abstract

Panti Asuhan bertanggung jawab memberikan perlindungan, pendidikan bagi anak-anak terlantar dan kurang mampu, tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kemitraan pengembangan keMuhammadiyahan di Panti Asuhan Putri Aisyiyah untuk memberdayakan anak-anak panti asuhan melalui kegiatan pendampingan pembuatan souvenir berbahan dasar resin, sehingga mereka dapat mengolah resin menjadi produk berupa gantungan kunci, leontin dan softcase HP, metode kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah dengan sosialisasi, peningkatan pengetahuan tentang bahan dan peralatan teknologi resin, peningkatan ketrampilan untuk pembuatan souvenir berupa gantungan kunci, leontin, softcase HP, dan evaluasi dari sebelum dan setelah kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan,  dari hasil pre-test dan post-test diketahui adanya  peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan anak-anak panti asuhan, mereka sudah dapat membuat souvenir secara mandiri dan dapat dijadikan peluang usaha

Abstract

The use of a Water Pump at the initial start is the use of electricity with a large capacity which sometimes faces various kinds of efficiency problems. These problems include an increase in current that occurs in the channel by improving the quality of electric power, especially in the electrical system in the area of the use of the Water Pump, which is expected to be able to improve the quality of electric power. The purpose of the research was to design an inverter starting energy saver as an effort to improve power quality for electricity savings, electric power efficiency in water pumps. This improvement is also expected to be able to reduce the cost of using electricity bills, especially in the use of water pumps. To be able to carry out the improvement of the quality of the electric power, it is necessary to calculate the active power and apparent power when the water pump is used. After performing these calculations, the installation of the inverter starting circuit saver electricity will be used. By carrying out these steps by installing a series of inverters that can improve the quality of electrical power. And by using the inverter circuit starting Energy saver, it is clear that it produces an active power efficiency value of 82% of the active power before using the 272 Watt inverter circuit and active power after using the 223.9 Watt inverter circuit, and also produces an apparent power efficiency value of 83% before using the circuit. inverter 275.18 VA and apparent power after using the inverter circuit 227.94 VA

Abstract

The sun shines on the territory of Indonesia for about 10 to 12 hours every day, so that solar power plants can be developed in Indonesia, the government has launched the movement of one million PLTS roofs in 2017, this research uses solar panels with a capacity of 200 Wp, which consists of 2 solar panels connected in parallel, solar charge controllers, batteries, inverters and as an AC load a fan, soldering iron and LED lights, the research aims to determine the output current, voltage and output power of the inverter when given an alternating current load that is inductive, resistive and capacitive, the method used is to measure the intensity of the sun, temperature, voltage, electric current, power factor, when the load is large the voltage drops depending on the given load, the inductive fan load has a voltage drop that is greater than the voltage drop that occurs in the soldering load and the LED lamp, the large current flowing on the output side fan load wants to be bigger than output current flowing in the solder and LED lights, the low efficiency of the inverter used can shorten the life of the electrical equipment used.

Abstract

Permasalahan lingkungan perkotaan khususnya di Kota Medan semakin meresahkan. Peningkatan jumlah penduduk tentunya menjadi alasan yang paling mendasar terhadap permasalahan lingkungan dengan naiknya pos pembuangan sampah liar hasil rumah tangga. Berdasarkan informasi media cetak maupun elektronik saat ini Tempat Pembuangan Akhir Terjun atau yang lebih dikenal TPA di Kota Medan saat ini sudah tidak mampu mengelola limbah rumah tangga dengan cepat akibat meningkatnya volume hingga mencapai 2000 ton sehari. Melihat ancaman terhadap keterbatasan teknologi maupun sarana pengelolaan persampahan tersebut, masyarakat memilih membakar sampah sehingga menghasilkan polusi diudara. Proses pengelolaan sampah yang dilakukan hampir sebagian besar masyarakat dikota medan menimbulkan bahaya yang sangat besar untuk kesehatan. Pengelolaan pembakaran sampah dengan rancang bangun Insinerator merupakan solusi dalam menyelesaikan hal tersebut. Muhammadiyah di Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan terdapat lebih dari 10 ranting. Pimpinan Ranting Muhammadiyah An Nur dan Al Furqon diharapkan dapat menjadi mitra binaan dalam melakukan pengelolaan sampah yang ramah lingkungan sehingga dapat menjadi percontohan ditengah masyarakan padat penduduk khususnya Muhammadiyah akan menjadi lebih berkembang

Abstract

In essence, an explosion from LPG gas cylinders can be avoided if precautions are taken early, when gas leaks occur through cylinders, regulators, hoses or gas stoves. Along with the development of increasingly modern science and technology, a security system is developed by providing an Early Warning System. If this system detects a system leak, it will give a signal to the LCD or buzzer. A gas leak gives a signal to the sensor to work, MQ-6 and a 2360 microcontroller to work detecting a gas leak which is then read on the LCD screen, and in certain circumstances the buzzer will sound. And turn off the relay so that the inlet voltage to supply the solenoid gas valve is cut off, and the gas line is closed. The maximum distance that the gas sensor can detect in this paper is 18 cm, if the voltage on the sensor is greater than 2.33 volts, the LCD will give a signal of a gas leak and the buzzer will sound.

Abstract

In general, the water pump is often used automatically, according to the use of the water faucet when it is opened. This automatic water pump system often triggers a surge in electric current when the water pump is on or off. This surge in electric current will increase compared to the nominal electric current. With increased current capacity, sometimes we face problems with the quality of electrical power in the electrical system, and will also increase electricity bills. The purpose of this research is to improve the quality of power to save electricity, reduce electric current when the water pump is used, so as to reduce the cost of using electricity bills, especially for water pumps. The use of Varistors in the Inverator Starting Energy Saver circuit is very influential in protecting the load when there is a surge in current even though it is momentary or long, so that it can improve the quality of electrical power at the water pump load. The data is carried out on measuring current, voltage, cos phi and frequency when the water pump is used without using an inverator. After making these measurements the measurement data can be saved as a comparison for the measurement data, which uses the installation of an inverator starting energy saver which is connected in parallel with the power source and also connected to the water pump. By installing the inverter starting energy saver circuit to improve the quality of electric power. The use of a varistor in the inverator starting Energy saver circuit clearly produces a current of 1.274 A and the voltage is 216 V without using an inverator. Furthermore, when using the inverter circuit, it produces a current of 1.098 A and the voltage drops by 207.6 V. The decrease in the working voltage of the water pump is still within the standard 5%.

Abstract

Motor  induksi  adalah  motor  yang  paling  banyak  di  gunakan  saat  ini, karena memiliki konstruksi yang sederhana, relatif murah, lebih ringan dan memiliki efisiensi yang tinggi serta mudah dalam pemeliharaannya di bandingkan dengan  motor  DC.  Namun  dalam  hal  pengaturan  kecepatan  dan  torsi  motor induksi bukanlah suatu permasalahan yang mudah untuk di lakukan. Pengaturan putaran motor induksi dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan inverter 3G3MX2 dengan merubah arus, tegangan, daya dan frekuensi. Penelitian ini menganalisis karakteristik kerja dari arus, tegangan, daya, frekuensi dan kecepatan putaran motor induksi,  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa ketika tegangan dinaikkan maka frekuensi akan semakin besar dan putaran akan semakin cepat.Bila frekuensi diubah lebih besar maka daya yang terukur juga akan semakin besar dan putaran yang dihasilkan akan semakin cepat.

Abstract

Motor induksi adalah motor yang paling banyak digunakan saat ini, karena memiliki konstruksi yang sederhana, relatif murah, lebih ringan dan memiliki efisiensi yang tinggi serta mudah dalam pemeliharaannya dibandingkan dengan motor DC. Namun dalam hal pengaturan kecepatan dan torsi motor induksi bukanlah suatu permasalahan yang mudah untuk dIlakukan, dengan berkembangnya Teknologi sistem kontrol salah satu cara yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan  Inverter satu fasa dan frekuensi 50 Hz untuk digunakan mengatur kecepatan  motor induksi tiga fasa.   Pengaturan frekuensi tegangan motor induksi dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan inverter. Inverter mengkonversikan sumber tegangan AC 3 fasa maupun sumber tegangan AC 1 fasa yang memiliki frekwensi 50 Hz konstan menjadi sumber tegangan AC 3 fasa yang frekuensinya dapat diatur antara 0 – 50 Hz. Pada penelitian ini program Ladder diagram dirancang menggunakan CX-Programmer pada Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) yang digunakan sebagai pengendali kecepatan motor induksi tiga fasa melalui inverter. Frekuensi yang dikendalikan mulai dari 5 Hz sampai 60 Hz dan putaran yang dihasilkan 124 rpm sampai dengan 1441 rpm.  Semakin besar data frekuensi yang disetting ke PLC, maka kecepatan putaran motor induksi akan berubah semakin cepat.

Abstract

Abstrak — Mesin stirling merupakan suatu mesin kalor yang digerakkan melalui siklus kompresi dan ekspansi pada fluida kerja dalam wujud gas. Pada prinsip kerjanya ada 3 tipe mesin stirling yaitu tipe Alpha, Beta dan tipe Gamma. Secara Umum Skema Kerja Mesin ini, pada suhu yang berbeda fluida kerja terjadi perbedaan tekanan yang dapat menimbulkan perubahan energi panas menjadi energi kerja mekanik yang akan menggerakkan roda flywheel yang dihubungkan dengan generator DC sehingga dapat menimbulkan energi listrik. Bahan yang digunakan adalah Metanol yang dapat diperbaharui sehingga dapat menghemat bahan bakar fosil yang masih tersedia.Listrik yang dihasilkan kemudian dapat digunakan setelah melalui joule thief inverter dan dapat diterima pada lampu 3 watt AC, bahwa saat berbeban kecepatan putaran yang dihasilkan jauh lebih kecil dimana pada saat tanpa beban pada waktu 20 detik putaran yang dihasilkan 491 rpm, sedangkan saat berbeban kecepatan putaran yang dihasilkan 334 rpmKata kunci :  Striling Engine, Methanol, Joule Thief InverterAbstract — Stirling engine is a heat engine that is driven through a cycle of compression and expansion of the working fluid in the form of gas. In principle, there are 3 types of stirling engines, namely Alpha, Beta and Gamma types. In general, the Machine Work Scheme, at different temperatures the working fluid occurs a difference in pressure that can cause changes in heat energy into mechanical work energy that will drive the flywheel wheel which is connected to a DC generator so as to cause electrical energy. The material used is renewable Methanol so that it can save fossil fuels that are still available. The electricity produced can then be used after going through a joule thief inverter and can be received on a 3 watt AC lamp, that when loaded the rotation speed produced is much smaller where at when no load at 20 seconds the rotation generated 491 rpm, while when the resulting rotation speed is 334 rpmKeywords :     Striling Engine, Methanol, Joule Thief Inverter

Abstract

Abstrak — Sel surya merupakan energi listrik terbarukan, dengan adanya potensi sinar matahari yang umumnya merata dan tersedia sepanjang tahun, dimana radiasi surya rata-rata sekitar 4,5 kwh/m2 sangat berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai pendukung kebutuhan energi listrik kita. Sel surya dapat dimodelkan dengan bentuk paralel ataupun seri, jika sel surya dirangkai seri tegangan akan berubah sementara arus tetap dan jika diparalel tegangan tetap arusnya berbeda. Bentuk karakteristik tersebut dipengaruhi cahaya matahari. Perubahan tegangan sel surya yang dirangkai seri jika cahaya cerah 39.6V namun jika sel surya diparalel 19.8V. Sementara arus keluaran maksimal jika sel surya dirangkai paralel 2.45A dan jika diserikan 1.78A. Dari data diatas disimpulkan bahwa selisih perbandingan antara tegangan sel surya yang dihubung seri terhadap paralel adalah 100.05% dimana tegangan pada hubungan seri lebih besar sedangkan selisih perbandingan arus antara seri dan paralel adalah 83.19% dimana arus pada hubungan paralel lebih optimal.Kata kunci :  Sel Surya, Karakteristik Arus-Tegangan, Rangkaian Seri-Paralel.Abstract — Solar cells are renewable electrical energy, with the potential for sunlight that is generally even and available throughout the year, where the average solar radiation of around 4.5 kwh / m2 has the potential to be used as a support for our electricity needs. Solar cells can be modeled in parallel or in series, if the series solar cell voltage is changed while the current is constant and if the parallel is fixed the voltage is different. The characteristic shape is influenced by sunlight. Changes in the voltage of the solar cell are arranged in series if the light is 39.6V bright but if the solar cell is paralleled 19.8V. While the output current is maximum if the solar cell is arranged in parallel 2.45A and if it is transmitted 1.78A. From the data above, it can be concluded that the difference in the ratio between the voltage of the solar cell in series and parallel is 100.05% where the voltage in the series relationship is greater while the difference in the current ratio between series and parallel is 83.19% where the current in the parallel relationship is more optimal.Keywords :     Solar Cells, Current-Voltage Characteristics, Series-Parallel Circuits
