Abstract

One of the non-timber forest product spice groups that have economic value is nutmeg. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of a nutmeg processing business developed by the Ake Guraci Forest Farmers Group, Marikurubu Village. The research will take place in 2021. The research data is in the form of primary and secondary data. Primary data collection techniques using interviews with informants and observation; Meanwhile, this secondary data is in the form of information related to the market price of materials supporting the processing of nutmeg flesh, permits, and other related documents. The data collected will be analyzed using business feasibility analysis. The results of the feasibility analysis show that the non-financial processing of nutmeg meat based on the criteria of legal aspects is feasible. While the results of the financial feasibility analysis are based on acceptance criteria for the types of products that are feasible to develop, namely the types of crackers, paltar, crackers, candy, and jam product’s. While based on the criteria for the benefits of a feasible type of product except for candy products. So that the selling price and production riots are factors that influence the development of the nutmeg meat food production business.

Abstract

Tourism development on Maitara Island is based on several approaches, including increasing competitiveness, community involvement, environmental conservation, and improving the local economy. All of this is an effort to develop tourism to be able to increase the income of the surrounding community and at the same time increase regional income from the tourism sector. The purpose of this study is to analyze the increase in the number of tourists visiting Maitara Island amid the Covid-19 pandemic, so that it is hoped that it will be useful for the local government to maintain and even further improve services in the tourism sector. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive qualitative to explore findings in the field. The results showed that when the Covid-19 epidemic occurred in 2020 the number of tourists visiting the Maitara Island tourist attraction increased from the previous year, where in the previous year or 2019 when there was no Covid-19 epidemic the number of tourists was only 2,104 whereas when the covid-19 epidemic occurred 19 there was an increase in the number of tourists to 5,600. This increase in the number of tourists is dominated by local tourists, this is influenced by the strict enforcement implemented by the government not to travel outside the area.

Abstract

The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic has harmed many companies. But apart from the company, employees as human entities also experience various problems, such as stress. Industrial psychology is then present to help understand the impacts that occur in society. This study then aims to see the role of industrial psychology in the era of Society 5.0. This research will use a qualitative approach. The research data comes from the results of previous research and studies which still have relevance to the contents of this study. The results of this study then found that the market will always continue to grow to remain efficient and effective. The emergence of a pandemic that has destroyed many industrial sectors requires a new strategy. Industrial psychology is present and actively plays a role in developing human resource management in the Society 5.0 era. Through the presence of industrial psychology, it is hoped that human resources will survive well even though the dynamics of the industrial world continue to change.

Abstract

This research refers to the development of nuget banana marketing methods through online media. The purpose of this research is to see how far online marketing methods can be used in the marketing process. The method used is a qualitative research method in order to get as much information as possible. This research was conducted in Tulungagung Regency because in several areas in Tulungagung there are lots of bananas and this is one of the products that can be processed into nuggets so that they have added value to the original product. The results of this study, the marketing of processed bananas into nuggets, has received a positive response from the community with many small entrepreneurs in Tulungagung Regency making processed banana products using online marketing methods through grab food and other (local) delivery services, and market places. From the development of this marketing method, it was able to boost the income of banana farmers because the selling value of these bananas experienced an increase in price.

Abstract

There are many beauty products in the market competition. But there are several factors that influence consumers when making purchasing decisions. In this study using the celebrity endorsement factor and the formulation of the problem is whether the celebrity endorsement influences the purchasing decisions of Muslim consumers on scarlett whitening products in Surabaya. The purpose of this research is to find out whether celebrity endorsements influence the decision of Muslim consumers to buy Scarlett Whitening products in Surabaya. The type of research used is associative quantitative. Questionnaires were distributed to 100 respondents who were selected using a purposive sampling technique with the number of samples using the formula Heir et al. Respondents' answers were measured using a Likert scale. This study shows that celebrity endorsement as an independent variable has an influence on purchasing decisions as the dependent variable of 17.3% (R2). This study has managerial implications for producers/sellers, where celebrity endorsements are important in attracting Muslim consumers to make purchasing decisions on Scarlett Whitening products in Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the average length of schooling, per capita expenditure, local revenue, investment, open unemployment rate on the poverty rate in all districts and cities of West Nusa Tenggara Province. The data used is secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics, West Nusa Tenggara, the Central Bureau of Statistics of Riau Province and the Regional Development Planning Agency of Riau Province. The secondary data used is Panel data for 2012-2021 by Regency/City in West Nusa Tenggara Province. Data analysis using panel data regression.

Abstract

The development of human resource management will continue to change along with the times. At the same time, there have been various emerging developments in the model approach within human resource management. This study aims to look at the various models of human resource management approaches and find the most suitable approach to human resource management. This research will be carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data used in this research comes from the results of research and previous studies that are still relevant to the content of this research. The results of this study found that the researcher with the Zoroastrian approach model was the most suitable approach model for human resource management in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. This is because, in this approach, values of a fairly high work ethic, empowerment, community improvement, fairness, and good manners are important in developing business excellence.

Abstract

Intellectual competency is an important element in the successful management of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), whose applications are still not optimally empowered by SMEs in Indonesia. This case study aims to describe the forms of intellectual competence of UKM actors and their empowerment in achieving UKM performance in Nagauleng Village, Cenrana District, Bone Regency. This study involved 3 UKM actors who were selected using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The collected data is processed using a data triangulation approach with stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. This study found forms of SME intellectual competence, including: creativity skills, innovation skills, skills in preparing business plans, and job evaluation skills. Furthermore, empowering intellectual competence can improve the performance of SMEs. Following up on these findings, it is very important to implement various intellectual competencies in the management of SMEs so as to provide opportunities to achieve maximum performance.

Abstract

Changes in intellectual capital as well as knowledge management occur as a result of technological and information developments. These changes then affect human resource management in various ways. This research looked at how intellectual capital and knowledge management can influence the development of human resource management. This research will be carried out using a qualitative approach. The data used in this study is secondary data derived from various research results and previous studies. The results of this study then found that human resource management is very important in digital technology because companies need to develop according to the current era. Therefore, people who work in the shadows as people in charge of human resource management need to have strong intellectual capital and knowledge management. The existing human resource management can develop properly by having these two things.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to empirically test the effects of occupational health and safety management (OHS) and employee engagement associated with organizational citizenship behaviors (OCB). The study was conducted with 610 sewer cleaners in Jakarta Province and West Java Province-Indonesia using a survey instrument. Data analysis was done by Structural Equation Model (SEM). Three hypotheses were developed in order to determine the relationships between OHS management, employee engagement, and organizational citizenship behavior. The result of this study indicates that OHS management had a significantly positive impact on employees’ engagement and organizational citizenship behavior. This study makes several contributions to employers that by developing a systematic and integrated OHS management at the workplace, it can increase employee engagement and organizational citizenship behavior.
