Abstract

Clean and healthy living behaviour is a behaviour that is practised in everyday life. The purpose of implementing clean and healthy living behaviour in the dormitory environment is so that the dormitory community continues to apply a clean and healthy lifestyle during the COVID-19 pandemic so as to prevent transmission in the dormitory environment. The approach to overcome partner problems is through counselling and mentoring methods as well as providing facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of clean and healthy living behaviours. The implementation of this community service activity is carried out in all dormitory buildings of Dharmas Indonesia University. Implementation of activities is counselling about clean and healthy living behaviour which includes counselling about clean and healthy living behaviour and implementation of clean and healthy living behaviour, as well as healthy exercise. Then cleaning is done throughout the dormitory environment. In addition, activities for clean and healthy living behaviour through mutual cooperation activities are carried out every Sunday. The benefits of gymnastics have been felt by the dormitory community, such as improving sleep quality, being able to relieve stress, and controlling weight.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and interpret the implementation of Digital Game Play Learning (DGPL) in elementary schools. This study used a qualitative approach. The data were collected by using in-depth interviews, participant observation, field notes, and documentation. The data validity was determined through sources and techniques triangulation. The subjects were elementary school teachers in SD IT Nurul A’raaf. The data were analyzed by using Interactive Analysis Model from Miles and Huberman. The results show: 1) the planning of Digital Game Play Learning (DGPL) program has been coordinated by the board of DGPL team. This team was to be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating DGPL program; 2) DGPL has been implemented in online class in three phases, namely planning, doing, and reflecting. Besides, DGPL  is oriented to build fun learning based digital game play for teachers and students in the pandemic of covid-19. and 3) the evaluation of DGPL implementation has been conducted by the team who has implemented online class of DGPL thoroughly in intensive discussion of reflection.

Abstract

This service aims to improve the ability to master local content in elementary schools and to actualize and develop local content materials in elementary schools. The implementation of this community service was motivated by a request for teachers of SD Negeri 193 in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, who had difficulty in actualizing local content material. This service activity was carried out in December 2019, carried out in 2 stages, namely: (1) in this first stage community service activities include mentoring local content material, where at this stage participants get material related to local content and material examples local content; and (2) the second stage, community service activities are carried out by means of the teacher making presentations and continued with discussions and providing input that involves all training participants. The results of the activities during the implementation of mulok material mentoring for teachers at SDN 193 Pekanbaru showed the enthusiasm of the participants with the various questions raised by the participants.

Abstract

Promotional and preventive activities for the community at Perumahan Taman Lestari, Kibing Village, Batam City, Riau Islands are expected to provide scientific, accurate, and reliable knowledge and understanding that will help the community to quickly implement government appeals and directives to reduce the spread of Covid-19. Methods of activity are (a) site survey; (b) coordination with local government; (c) preparation of activity programs; (d) implementation of program activities; and (e) evaluation of program activities. The results of activities carried out by a team of village volunteers against Covid-19, Riau University at Perumahan Taman Lestari RW 13, Kibing Village, Batam City, Riau Islands are guarding village entrance posts, building handwashing stations, spraying disinfectants in community residences and places. Public places, making cloth masks, distributing hand sanitizers and cloth masks, distributing cash social assistance stages I, II, and III of making banners for mandatory masks appeals to people to always carry out Covid-19 health protocols such as staying at home, always wearing masks, keeping their distance safe, and wash your hands with soap. Thus, it can be concluded that promotive and preventive activities can provide knowledge and understanding of the community to carry out government appeals and directives to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to familiarize yourself with Reading Log (Reading Journal) as a supporter of the National Literacy Movement (GLN). The method used in this service is starting with preparing books that children will read. The books provided are tiered books so that children can choose books according to their wants and needs and prepare reading corners by preparing as many reading books as many (100 reading books) of various types reading books and tiered reading. According to the target, this service is 88% of children can get used to using the reading log. This can be seen from the 25 students who filled out the reading log in full, as many as 22 children. This proves that reading logs' habit is one of the habits to support the community literacy movement.

Abstract

Profesi guru membutuhkan kemampuan menulis untuk menunjang perkembangan karir dan untuk tetap belajar sehingga guru wajib menulis karya ilmiah. Namun, dalam kenyataannya kemauan dan kemampuan guru untuk menulis karya ilmiah masih perlu ditingkatkan. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru Sekolah Dasar di daerah Kabupaten Batang dan sekitarnya untuk meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam menulis karya tulis ilmih, yang kita fokuskan pada Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalui acara workshop dan pendampingan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah bai guru Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Batang dan sekitarnya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terbagi menjadi dua tahap, yaitu tahap pertama pemaparan materi oleh trainer mengenai karya tulis ilmiah. Tahap kedua yaitu kegiatan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah yang dilakukan oleh semua peserta dengan didampingi oleh para trainer. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar STKIP Muhammadiyah Batang telah terlaksana dengan sangat baik dan mendapatkan kesan positif dari semua peserta yang mengikuti program tersebut. Adanya program pelatihan dan pendampingan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini dirasakan sangat bermanfaat oleh peserta, karena melalui program ini guru-guru (peserta) yang mengikuti program ini mendapatkan ilmu baru dalam pembuatan karya tulis ilmiah, khususnya pada pembuatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).

Abstract

In the development of the era, teachers are required to improve competence, especially in terms of learning about digital literacy. The role of teachers is very important in creating a teaching and learning process that is following the demands of revolution 4.0. In the learning process, teachers can use the internet-based e-learning method. E-learning is a learning method that utilizes web-based information technology (IT) that can be accessed remotely so that the learning done is not only glued in the classroom and within certain hours but can still be done anytime and anywhere. Ujung Batu Subdistrict Rokan Hulu has sixteen public elementary schools scattered in various from in Ujung Batu Subdistrict. Based on the observations, elementary school teachers in Ujung Batu Subdistrict still do not use the Internet to the maximum in the learning process. Teachers use limited media and learning resources. This is due to lack of information and lack of facilities The purpose of this devotion is to increase knowledge and insight into the innovation of e-learning based learning for teachers of SD Negeri Ujung Batu can be done through training activities in the application of Google meet, Google classroom and Zoom applicated. This activity was attended by 20 people in the teachers of SD Negeri Ujung Batu with the implementation method of devotion using lecture methods, questions and answers, and simulations. The results of this dedication show that (1) the trainees know the use of e-learning application Platform, (2) The trainees already have a learning class using the platform E-Learning Application, (3) The trainees have been knowledgeable e-learning used.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to provide understanding and experience about CAR writing to Pinggir Middle School teachers. It is hoped that with this service, all Pinggir Middle and High School teachers can carry out CAR writing as a teacher's scientific work later. The target of this service is teachers whose promotion is constrained due to the absence of research as their scientific work. It was concluded that there were still many teachers who did not understand the nature of this Classroom Action Research (CAR). This is because in general teachers are not used to writing CAR, even if teachers who have participated in PLPG are given CAR material, but the allocation provided does not allow them to be able to master CAR. One thing that teachers can do is imitate the CAR reports that have been made by previous teachers. So that it seems to just adapt from other people's research reports. At the beginning and until the end of the 4 days (32 hours) most of them understood and the motivation to produce the product was quite high. When carrying out the activities, no one did not understand, and sincerity was seen from time to time in both group and classical discussions. At the end of the service activity, each teacher is required to insert a product in the form of a proposal, which consists of Chapter I Introduction, Chapter II Literature Review, and Chapter III Research Methods. And Bibliography.

Abstract

Pendidikan Di abad  ke-21 ini,  dunia  mengalami perubahan yang sangat  cepat.  Perubahan ini menyangkut di segala lini kehidupan, yaitu bidang ekonomi, transportasi, teknologi, komunikasi, informasi, dan lain-lain. Perubahan ini perlu diantisipasi dengan menguasai keterampilan abad ke-21. Keterampilan abad ke-21 ini meliputi berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah, kreativitas dan inovasi, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. Pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21 ini dapat dilakukan pada semua disiplin. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah dapat tersusunnya modul pembelajaran online agar guru dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran berbasis  ketrampilan abad 21 berdasarkan manajemen pembelajaran di SMP dan SMA Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Terpadu Alkautsar Duri, dengan cara membuat modul dan melakukan pelatihan. Waktu pelaksaan selama 4 hari dengan peserta 40 orang guru. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa tingkat ketercapaian pemahaman isi modul pembelajaran online, ketercapaian materi pelatihan yaitu berkenaan dengan pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan abad 21  ketercapaian jenis aplikasi online yang digunakan, serta daya serap penggunaan aplikasi online   berdasarkan modul dalam kontek keterampilaan abad 21, semuanya dapat dikatogorikan sudah tinggi atau baik. Piohak yaysan maupun sekolah perlu terus meningkatkan dan mengembangkan pembelajaran online berbasis keterampilan abad 21 dengan berpedoman pada modul yang ada.

Abstract

Peningkatan keprofesionalan guru pengajar Bahasa Jepang sangat diperlukan. Agar kemampuan guru dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran meningkat. Oleh karena itu, perlu diadakannya workshop dan pembimbingan dalam membuat media pembelajaran kepada guru pengajar Bahasa Jepang. Khususnya media pembelajaran untuk pembelajaran sakubun. Materi workshop meliputi, 1) Pengenalan media gambar, 2) Hal-hal yang harus diperhatikan menggunakan media gambar dalam pengajaran menulis (sakubun) Bahasa Jepang, 3) Manfaat penggunaan media gambar dalam pengajaran kemampuan menulis (sakubun) Bahasa Jepang, dan 4) Diskusi dan presentasi mengenai penggunaan media gambar. Metode yang digunakan pada saat workshop dan pembimbingan yakni ceramah, diskusi, pembimbingan. Selanjutnya peserta dibimbing untuk  membuat media gambar dan sakubun. Kegiatan ini cukup berhasil jika dilihat dari antusiasnya para peserta dalam mengikuti workshop dan pembimbingan pembuatan media. Sehingga dapat menjadi motivasi bagi para guru untuk lebih kreatif dalam membuat media pembelajaran dan belajar mengenai sakubun. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini berkat kerja sama yang baik dari anggota tim pengabdian masyarakat dengan Kepala Sekolah SMA Plus Pekanbaru, Riau.
