Abstract

The ability of each individual to behave using his understanding of environmental conditions such as taking decisions related to the environment is important to be understood by each student.This ability is often referred to as environmental literacy. This research is the development of an initial development learning video to train students to make decisions according to their understanding of the environment.This video was developed through the Decision Making Cooperative learning procedure.The initial process of developing this video by creating scripts that are adapted to learning competencies is understanding environmental conditions that affect health, and efforts to maintain environmental health. Several videos are selected that are suitable for learning conditions.Student activity settings are also included in the video including conditions that encourage students to draw conclusions.There are a number of inputs provided by the validation team to improve the videos, among others related to the setting of problems that will be used as material for discussion for students. The initial results of the development of this video show that this video can be tested on students.

Abstract

The use of science learning media has become an obligation of learning as the implementation of active learning curriculum. This study analyzes the teachers comprehension of the use of instructional media in schools, especially the science intructional media in the high grade of elementary schools. The observed components include teacher comprehension of media, creativity, skills, objectivity, facilities and infrastructure, learning format, practicality, motivation, endurance, suitability of learning objectives, goals of science as an output, science objectives as a process, science objectives as a scientific attitude, conformity media, student learning styles and flexibility. The results of this study indicate that teachers have used intructional media, but tend to procedural according to the guidebook and learning media tend to be only as a complement to learning, does not lead to the learning objectives of science.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to uncover the process of cultivating the values the bacterium through the Boy Scout extracurricular. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects used in this study were 47 Scout students. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of nationalism character values had been carried out through Scout extracurricular activities which contained interesting, challenging, and creative activities. The inculcation of nationalism character values has received support from school culture, school programs, and available facilities. In addition there are also obstacles in the implementation of activities such as, lack of interest from students, different character of students, and lack of firmness from Scout coaches.Key Words: Scouts; Character of student nationalism.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the process of developing and using pop-up book media in learning about disaster mitigation themes at SDN 008 Tambang District, Kampar Regency. This research was conducted at SDN 008 Tambang District, Kampar Regency in October - November 2019. This type of research is development research, adapting the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages which include analysis, design, development. , implementation (implementation) and evaluation (evaluation). Two trials were carried out namely individual trials and limited trials to then be further implemented with improvements to the broad implementation test. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the pop-up book media on the theme of disaster mitigation as a whole reaches a percentage of 70.72% with a fairly good category and the pop-up book media is more suitable to be used madniri or small groups.Key Words: Learning Media, Pop-up Book, Disaster Mitigation

Abstract

Masa pandemi covid-19 menuntut perubahan pada sistem pembelajaran di dunia pendidikan. Pada umumnya sistem pembelajaran pada masa pandemi ini yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan model pembelajaran daring. Namun tidak semua wilayah memiliki jaringan internet yang memadai. Salah satunya adalah daerah di sekitar SDN 02 Buatan I khususnya Dusun Kuala Mandau. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode luring pada masa pandemi covid-19 yang dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa PLP FKIP UNRI 2020 angkatan 2017 bersama guru pamong dan dosen pembimbing. Artikel ini ditulis berdasarkan observasi dan dokumentasi yang diambil secara langsung dengan melakukan pengamatan terjun langsung ke lapangan. Proses pembelajaran melalui metode luring, guru menyampaikan materi sekaligus mengantarkan dan menjemput tugas siswa dengan cara diantar dari rumah ke rumah yang dilakukan dalam tiga kali seminggu untuk guru wali kelas, dan sekali dalam seminggu untuk guru mata pelajaran. Kelebihan dari pembelajaran luring seperti ini yaitu tidak bergantung pada kualitas jaringan, dapat terjalinnya keakrabatan dan silahturahmi antara guru, siswa, dan wali murid, dan tidak membebani orang tua untuk menyediakan handphone atau laptop dan tanpa harus mengeluarkan biaya dalam membeli paket data. Kekurangan dari pembelajaran luring ini yaitu dapat menguras tenaga, biaya, dan waktu yg lama karena harus mendatangi rumah siswa, guru harus memperbanyak materi agar kebutuhan siswa semua dapat terpenuhi.

Abstract

It aims to know character education in both online and offline learning. The method used was with qualitative research and with a qualitative approach. A data-gathering technique using closed interviews. Research is carried out at zero-one country elementary school. Data obtained through methods of observation, interview and documentation. Based on the results of research, conclusions can be drawn: (1) character analyses in online and offline learning are well under way and have already been applied to all students; (2) on this study the teacher has been enthusiastic about adding character values to the students who begin with the first class to attach themselves; (3) of the 11 aspects available, it can be seen that teachers already embed character values from the RPP design, to application of learning materials.

Abstract

Abstract: The use of learning media in teaching and learning activities is a way of supporting learning activities. The use of learning media can serve as a tool to accelerate the process of understanding in teaching and learning activities in the classroom. With the existence of attractive learning media with a three-dimensional appearance like the original, it can make students more enthusiastic and also become more interested in learning to use these learning media. The average validation obtained from material experts is 87.33% with a very feasible category and 93.81% for media experts with the conclusion that it is feasible to be tested without improvement. And the average percentage for the teacher's response to the product that has been made is 87.5% in the very good category and the average percentage of the student's response is 98.5% in the very good category.Key Words : Pop-up Book Learning Media, Hindu-Buddhist Kingdom

Abstract

Abstract: Learning difficulties are one of the obstacles in the learning process. This study aims to determine the factors that influence student learning difficulties in thematic learning in fifth grade elementary school students. The research location is at elementry school of 37 pekanbaru and the research was carried out in the even semester of 2019/2020. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. This research uses a descriptive method. The sample in this study were students who experienced low student daily test scores when they finished completing one theme. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that students' interest in following the lesson was categorized as high, learning motivation with a percentage of 37% in the medium category, concentration with a percentage of 29% in the low category, habits with a percentage of 42% in the medium category, student intelligence with a percentage of 29% in the low category. , the family environment with a percentage of 29% in the low category, and the fact of the school environment with a percentage of 33% in the low category.Key Words: Learning difficultie, thematic learning, Elementry School of 37 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Abstract: Tradition is a habit in which there is knowledge, understanding, beliefs and habits that guide people in carrying out their lives. Tradition has an important meaning for the life of a particular society. The tradition that is still maintained in the life of the Talang Mamak tribe is the Basolang tradition. The purpose of conducting the research is to analyze the Basolang tradition of the Talang Mamak tribal community. The type of research used in this study are ethnographic research methods incorporated into qualitative research. The source of data in this study is the Talang Mamak tribal community. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the Basolang tradition is an agricultural activity with various activities. The process of activities in the Basolang tradition is carried out according to the customary rules and beliefs of the Talang Mamak tribe that have been in effect since the time of the ancestors until now. This is apparent from the results of interviews conducted by researchers with the Talang Mamak tribal community.Key Words: Basolang Tradition, Talang Mamak Tribe Society

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the validity of the development of the game of Monopoly on hydrospheric science learning in grade V Elementary School. Research and Development (RD) research is used in this type of research. The Four-D model describes the research and development process, consisting of four stages: defining, designing, developing, and distributing. The study took place in Pekanbaru in the 2020/2021 academic year with four fifth grade private elementary school students. The Four-D model in this development research is only up to the development stage. The purpose of this research is to develop a product and validate by the validator then test individually. We were collecting data using a Likert scale instrument. Physical aspects, usage aspects, image aspects, colour aspects, writing aspects, and functional aspects obtained an average score of 97.78%, categorized as very valid in the assessment carried out by media expert validators. The assessment results carried out by the material expert validator consisted of the content/material aspect, and the learning aspect resulted in an average score of 90%, which indicated both were very valid. The average individual test evaluation results were 97.78%, categorized as very good. Monopoly game media was declared valid for grade V Elementary School science learning based on data analysis by media experts, material experts, and individual trials.
