Abstract

This article discusses the urgency of leadership with must-have skills and management capabilities in Islamic education. This article uses a qualitative descriptive analysis of the object of discussion by utilizing reference sources for related themes and using library research methods. This article argues that leadership is very much needed in Islamic educational institutions today, where the leadership in question must have visionary skills, personal risk, sensitivity, broad insight, charisma, communicative, exemplary, and not egotistical. Furthermore, with good management where management is meant is the art of completing projects, activities with an epic collaboration and understanding what you want to do and then doing it in an effective and efficient way. Therefore, this article offers idealistic leadership with good Islamic education management in shaping the golden generation in the future.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know how much effectiveness of online learning during the pandemic 19 for the students of SMK Mandalla Entrepreneur School Karawang District. The study used quantitative models with survey methods. The sample of respondents of this study are the students of every level randomly amounted to 73 students. The results of this study showed that 8 students or about 10.96% of respondens have not felt the benefits of online learning. Students' responses to online learning are also less enthusiastic, as seen from the data of about 37 students or 50.68% of students feeling bored. Then the desire of students, learning is carried out face-to-face directly with data showed about 65 students from 73 respondents or about 89.04%, about 5 students or 6.85% learning in a block system, namely one day of online learning and one day face-to-face learning, and 3 students or 4.11% who want online learning so it could be concluded that continuous online learning during the pandemicera is very ineffective.

Abstract

In an effort to reconstruct past events that occurred once in human life and analyze their influence on Islamic education, in this case the life of a character and his role in people's lives as well as knowing the resulting influence in the world of Islamic education. So this study uses a historical approach, historical methods and qualitative descriptive analysis of the object of discussion by utilizing reference sources on related themes and using library research methods. By using this approach, researchers can uncover historical facts about the role of Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX in the formation of the Scout Movement in 1960-1961 AD and the resulting influence in the world of Islamic education. This historical research and analysis is intended to make a systematic and objective reconstruction of the past, by collecting, evaluating, verifying and synthesizing evidence to support the facts in obtaining strong conclusions and analyzing the literature. Researchers explore and collect data related to the discussion of this research. The results of this study are: 1. Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX has a very important role in the formation and development of the scout movement so that he is trusted to serve as chairman of the Scout Movement Quarter and has been named the FATHER of Scouting because of his services and thoughts on the Scouting Movement. 2. Abstract

Learning is not merely a relationship between stimulus and response, but learning from the point of view of cognitivism is a deep thought process. Cognitivism prioritizes the learning process rather than learning outcomes and reveals that there is a need for learning methods that can activate student cognitive in the learning process. Jerome Bruner provides 3 stages of learning that can influence children's cognitive development, namely through active, iconic and symbolic learning. Bruner, who is an expert in cognitive developmental psychology, contributed discovery leaning learning theory or often called discovery learning. Bruner has also provided a cognitive learning step that he designed with six learning steps, starting from stimulation, problem identification, data collection, data processing to verification and conclusion drawing. The research was conducted qualitatively through observation and interviews by looking at the role of discovery learning theory in Islamic Islamic education learning at SMPN 3 Kalasan Sleman Yogyakarta. The results of the study reveal that discovery learning theory is very beneficial for students' cognitive development which is also well implemented, although not all learning materials can use this theory.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to determined the influence of resilience attitudes during the covid-19 pandemic on student academic abilities in Learning Evaluation course. This research is based on low academic achievement of students in evaluation of learning course. Students find difficulty and easily give up in solving the problem. The method used in this research is survey method with correlation technique sampling. Population in this research is all student in study program of Islamic Education, STAI Thawalib Jakarta. Research sample is taken by purposive sampling technique as many as 17 students who take learning evaluation course. The Instruments in this study are test description of academic ability questions and non test questions in the form of attitude of resilience scale. The results showed that there was a positive influence between resilience attitudes and student academic ability, with resilience attitudes influence of 59,4% to student  academic ability and 40,6% by other variable.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the not yet achieving the massive goals of education, especially being faithful, pious and noble. The decadence of altruism can be seen in MA Sunan Pandanaran, an example of which is apathy among students. The solution is to "Strengthen Altruism" through the Scout Movement at the base of MA Sunan Pandanaran. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, the sampling of data sources was done by purposive and snowball. Data collection techniques using documentation, observation, and interviews. By taking data sources from PAI educators, scout coaches and scout members, as well as the implementation of PAI learning, and scouting that has been programmed by MA Sunan Pandanaran scouts. Furthermore, it is analyzed using data analysis methods by Miles Huberman. Then test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study indicate: First, the implementation of the curriculum used by the base is the integration of Islamic Education and General Skills Requirements. Second, the Scouting at the base is going well, through a planned work program. Third, the linkage between Scouting and Altruism at the base lies in the Scout Movement's code of honor which is applied through Islamic education and scouting. Fourth, the implementation of scouting activities that strengthen the altruistic spirit at the base lies in Dasa Darma and Tri Satya which are applied with PAI education and scouting which is carried out regularly.

Abstract

Talking about classical Islamic education basically cannot be separated from the historical background of the birth and development of Islamic education itself. This is because Islamic education which is now developing is the result of the metamorphosis of previous education. When Islamic education during the time of the Prophet and Khulafa al-Rasyidin emphasized more on the cultivation of faith, sharia, and morals as the basis for fostering the people, classical Islamic education reached its peak during the reign of the Abbasid's which was marked by an openness to foreign cultures and thoughts. Therefore, during the Abbasid era, the scientific tradition developed rapidly and gave birth to many Muslim intellectuals, both concerned with philosophy, religious knowledge (tafsir, fiqh, language), and the realm of education. This period by historians called the golden period (The Golden Age), in which, philosophy, religion, and other sciences, especially education developed rapidly with its unique models and characteristics that distinguish it from previous models and characteristics of education.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of organizational culture and job motivation as independent variables toward the teacher’s work productivity of state junior high school teachers as dependent variable, both individually and collectively. Among 60 senior high school  teachers were surveyed and 52 respondent were selected as samples for the research. Normality, homogenity,linearity, multiple regression,and multiple correlation are several data analysis method that were used in this research using the SPPS 21.0 program for Windows.The result of this research imply that: Firstl,  a positive and significant effect was found Teacher’s Work Productivity by Organizational Culture and Job Motivation collectivelly and expressed in coefficient correlation  ry1.2 = 0,672 (a = 0,05) and regression equation as Y = 43,0378 + 0,603 X1  +  0,273 X2 and  determination coefficient is  r2y1.2 = 0,451.Secondly, a positive and significant corelation was found Organizational Culture toward Teacher’s Work Productivity  can be found and  expressed in hypothesis testing that the value of Sig = 0.000 and t = 5.767, while t table = 2.021. Because the value of Sig <0.05 and tcount > ttable, H0 is rejected, it means that there is a significant effect of the independent variable X1 (organizational culture) on the dependent variable Y (Teacher’s Work Productivity). Thirdly, this research also found that there is a positive and significant corelation was found Job Motivation toward Teacher’s Work Productivity can be found and  expressed in  the hypothesis testing, it was obtained that the value of Sig = 0.000 and tcount = 3.881, while ttable = 2.021. The value of Sig <0.05 and tcount > ttable, so H0 is rejected, it means that there is a significant effect of the independent variable X2 (job motivation) toward the dependent variable Y (Teacher’s Work Productivity). According to result of this research that improvement of Teacher’s Work Productivity  can be in creased by Organizationalal Culture and Job Motivation interest.

Abstract

The research is aimed at evaluating the lecturer performance in teaching the methodology of Islamic economics based on the students’ observation during the online course as the effect of COVID 19. The measurement of the performance refers to the concept of satisfaction related to the educational service by comparing the performance to the expectation adopted from Parasunaman’s five quality dimension: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The data is collected from the questionnaire. The descriptive quantitative research is used to map the strengths and weaknesses in four classifications: first, what aspects a lecturer should prioritize because the lecturer performance is low and the student expectation is high; second, what aspects a lecturer should maintain because the lecturer performance is in line with the student expectation; third, what aspects a lecturer should maintain but think again about weighting them because the lecturer performance is low and the student expectation is also low; fourth, what aspects a lecturer should reduce their emphasis because the lecturer performance is high but the student expectation is low. The result shows that with the four classification the lecturer performance related to the service quality can be managed well.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interest in entrepreneurship using social media on business among students of the University of Pamulang.The object of this research is students who use social media as a medium for entrepreneurship at Pamulang University majoring in management. In the 2020 period with a population of 448. The number of samples taken with the Slovin formula in order to obtain a sample size of 84. The data in this study were processed by regression analysis to obtain the objectives of the study.The conclusion obtained in this study is that there is an influence of entrepreneurial interest in entrepreneurship on students. There is an influence of the use of social media on entrepreneurship in students.
