Abstract

Natural conditions are increasingly poor. The destruction of nature is happening everywhere. The water is no longer clean, the air becomes dirty, and the environment is no longer green. Unfortunately, human awareness of nature preservation is low. In the name of modernization and development, humans carry out large-scale actions regardless of their impact on the environment. This habit is considered natural. Now, nature which is the carrying capacity for human survival has become a killing force.  The method used is meta nalasis.  Two different views, namely anthropocentrism and ecocentrism are presented in the meaning of nature. Green literature is here to campaign for saving the earth. Green literature does not just contain beauty, but brings people to reflect on the majesty and frustration of humans towards the environment. The movement to save the environment through green literature is increasingly echoed. The idea raised in this article is in the form of a green literary literacy movement. Through the green literary literacy movement, the call to love and care for nature is echoed. A noble act of response to the increasingly miserable conditions of nature.

Abstract

Until now, the number and variety of BIPA teaching materials are still minimal. BIPA teaching materials that have been authorized by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia cannot be said to meet the intended communication needs. Grammar, language skills, and cultural materials are delivered integratively, but learning activities in it have not fully bridged foreign learners to be able to communicate in Indonesian appropriately by paying attention to the context, society, and culture of Indonesia. This creates problems for foreign learners. Foreign learners have found that the Indonesian learned in the classroom is different from the use of Indonesian in society. Foreign learners may get high grades in class, but lack confidence, understanding, and communication competence in Indonesian. Based on the situation, this study focuses on developing a CEFR-based BIPA teaching material model by integrating aspects of communication, cultures, connections, comparison, and communities. These five aspects are known as the 5Cs and are an important foundation in learning foreign languages, one of which is Indonesian. By integrating these five aspects in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar teaching materials, foreign learners can master Indonesian language competence better and comprehensively. In addition, foreign learners are also encouraged to master the competence of communicating in Indonesian more appropriately so that there is no missing link between the Indonesian learned in class and the Indonesian that are actually used in society. The teaching material model developed will focus on the B1 or early intermediate level because at that level BIPA learners have begun to be able to understand, discuss, and communicate about more abstract topics such as non-material cultural topics related to collective logic, habits, and traditions.

Abstract

Teachers are the most important factor for students when the learning process takes place, because student learning outcomes will be more optimal if motivation is shown directly to students. Motivation has a function to encourage students to be able to select what has been done or will be done by students, also to encourage students to achieve a good achievement, motivation also functions as a director and mobilizer. The role of the teacher is very influential to grow the management of students, namely as a driver so that student learning outcomes can run smoothly and optimally. As mentioned above, the role of the teacher is as a motivator. The teacher is an inspiration who will help and fulfill the wishes and needs of students. To motivate student learning in the teaching process, teachers should not only use one monotonous learning method such as lectures or taking notes that can cause students to lose enthusiasm and get bored quickly in receiving learning. The teacher's responsibility is to help students maximize the potential of their own students and those around them. The potential learners to be nurtured not only concern intellectual issues and skills, but it involves all aspects of personality. Teachers not only need a deep understanding or ability to learn and learning can also motivate students.
