Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to the community about the gut microbiota and probiotics and their role in gastrointestinal health, especially in children with undernutrition. Children with malnutrition experience changes in the composition of the gut microbiota so that they are more susceptible to gastrointestinal infections. The gut microbiota can be positively or negatively related to influencing nutrient absorption in the gut. Probiotics are live bacteria that are able to provide health effects such as maintaining the balance of the intestinal microbiota and increasing the body's immunity. In this community service, there will be outreach activities regarding the gut microbiota and the importance of consuming probiotics as an effort to prevent dysbiosis at SDN 3 Belanting, East Lombok. This activity was carried out by Community Service Program (PKM) of Bumigora University. The implementation of this community service activity has been able to increase the knowledge of students and parents of targeted students of socialization regarding nutrition, nutritional status, gut microbiota, the importance of gastrointestinal health, especially its relation to nutritional status and the role of probiotics on digestive health.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest Muslim population, the mosque is a place intended to carry out worship and religious activities for Muslims. Activities in this community service journal are conducting community service activities which are located at the Al-Raudlah Mosque, Kasemen, Sawah Luhur, Serang. The service method used is the coordination of activities, implementation of activities and community empowerment, distribution of cleaning facilities, evaluation of activities, and preparation of reports. The problems found are the lack of public concern for the cleanliness of the worship environment, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and security that has not been guaranteed. The implementation team hopes that in order to realize the image of the Al-Raudlah mosque, which is a place of worship and a center for Muslim religious activities, it will be kept clean and safe. Because the mosque environment has a function as a place to foster society to become a united people based on faith and piety. For this reason, through communication for social change, the implementing team hopes that the purpose of their service can be achieved, namely helping the community to be persuaded and aware of caring more in the future in maintaining the maintenance of the mosque environment.

Abstract

Planting shade trees is useful for preventing landslides on the ground and can be used as a flood prevention. This greening is not only done to prevent various kinds of natural disasters, but also as a protectorof the surrounding environment to avoid bad air pollution. This is closely related to the government's policy that the Indonesian people plant 25 trees while they are alive. Considering that Indonesia is the largest contributor of oxygen in the world, quality oxygen is needed for the survival of living things on this earth. Indonesia also has the largest forests so that they become the lungs of the world. Tree planting is carried out in Kelurahan Air Dingin, Pekanbaru City, Riau. The planting of this shade tree consists of matoa trees, mahogany trees and trembesi trees. The greening activity was carried out jointly with community leaders and residents of the Kelurahan Air Dingin on Friday, December 23, 2022. The results of this tree planting activity received appreciation and support from the Lurah, RW, RT and residents of Kelurahan Air Dingin. This tree planting activity succeeded in planting 15 trees consisting of 5 mahogany trees, 5 matoa trees, and 5 trembesi trees.

Abstract

Hypertension is a public health problem in the world, both in developed and developing countries. Hypertension is called the silent killer because it often becomes a killer without any complaints, so that sufferers do not know they have hypertension and are only discovered after complications occur. In the working area of ​​the Gangga Public Health Center, it shows that the people in Jugil hamlet who have less knowledge are 65% and those who have sufficient knowledge are 35%. The results of the community service activities that have been carried out in Jugil Hamlet, Sambik Bangkol Village, Working Area of ​​the Gangga Health Center on October 25 2022 using the lecture method where participants who were hypertension patients who attended totaled 41 people. There is a difference in the average knowledge before and after education where the knowledge obtained is increasing. Education has an influence on increasing the knowledge of hypertensive patients, this is very useful so that people know how to manage hypertension independently and reduce the occurrence of complications that can occur in hypertensive patients. So that the provision of education really needs to be done both for patients who experience non-communicable diseases and infectious diseases. Health workers should provide education about hypertension prevention so that public awareness and knowledge will increase

Abstract

Gemel Village is one of the areas in Central Lombok. Most of the women in Gemel Village are housewives. There is no extra income for them. So the team of Bumigora university lecturers wanted to help improve the economy in Gemel village. The training and assistance in making Putu Ayu Cake was carried out for the underprivileged community in Bunprie, Gemel Village. The Cake Making Training was held on June 19, 2021. The participants who took part in the training were 30 people from underprivileged women in Bunprie. The training took place at the house of the Head of Bunprie. community service activities for lecturers and students at Bumigora University went well and received good appreciation and attention from the target community. Then it is hoped that the socialization and training can lead to changes in behavior so that the resulting product can help the economy of the target community.

Abstract

Perjudian merupakan masalah yang sangat sulit diberantas di Indonesia. Judi masih sangat marak terjadi disekitar kita bahkan judi berkembang pesat di masyarakat dengan berbagai jenis. Walaupun pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi membawa banyak hal baik, namun dunia maya malah menjadi sarang berkembangnya praktek judi online karena berkembangnya internet dan zaman. Di masyarakat seringkali terjadi penangkapan bagi pelaku dan bandar perjudian untuk disanksi seberat beratnya, namun belum bisa menyadarkan masyarakat sepenuhnya untuk tidak berjudi. Maka dari itu sangat lah penting bagi pemerintah untuk mengupayakan pemberantasan judi online di masyarakat. Metode Penulisan yang digunakan pada makalah ini yaitu Metode penelitian Kualitatif. Metode Penelitian kualitatif merupakan metode penelitian yang dapat digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami makna yang berasal dari masalah-masalah sosial atau kemanusiaan. Perjudian Dalam undang-undang nomor 9 tahun 1981 (9/1981) tentang penertiban perjudian. Dalam pasal 1 menerangkan sebagai berikut Pemberian izin penyelenggaraan segala bentuk dan jenis perjudian yang dilarang, baik perjudian yang diselenggarakan di kasino, di tempat-tempat keramaian, maupun yang di kaitkan dengan alasan-alasan lain. Izin penyelenggaraan yang sudah diberikan, dinyatakan dicabut dan tidak berlaku lagi, sejak tanggal 31 Maret 1981. Sehingga dapat dipahami dalam hal ini undang-undang melarang adanya praktek perjudian, baik ditempat keramaian, umum ataupun secara online karena akan mendapatkan sanksi yang terdapat dalam pasal 27 ayat 2 jo. Jadi, praktek perjudian baik online maupun tidak itu tidak dapat mempunyai izin, karena dapat menyebabkan banyaknya faktor-faktor yang menyimpang, dan akan menimbulkan kerugian bagi para pemain yang melakukannya. Adapaun upaya pemerintah dalam memberantas dan mengatasi maraknya aplikasi judi online di masyarakat : Bekerjasama dengan kepolisian. Membuat Undang-undang Penertiban Perjudian. Bekerjasama Dengan Kementerian Komunkasi dan Informatika, Ancaman Berat Bagi Pelaku Judi Online (Dalam UU No. 19 tahun 2016 pasal 27 ayat (2))

Abstract

The development of knowledge in information technology significantly influences student learning, especially in entrepreneurship subjects, thus making various digital-based learning methods develop rapidly. Starting from the idea of a team of University of Science and Computer Technology (STEKOM) lecturers providing training to Alta Integrated Vocational High School students in Semarang Regency, which aims to increase competence in the field of information technology. The material is related to branding, google my business and google trends. Lecture methods and direct practice are used in this training activity with the concept of community service. The stages of this training consist of Registration, Activity, Output, and Evaluation. It is hoped that in the future this kind of activity can be held regularly and continuously.

Abstract

Labor is the process of expulsion of the fetus that occurs in full-term pregnancies born spontaneously with a rear-head presentation without complications to the mother and fetus. During childbirth, the mother feels pain that can interfere with comfort during contractions. Labor pain appears during the first stage of the active phase. Methods to reduce pain due to labor can be done with pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. Non-pharmacological will not give side effects to the mother. Non-pharmacological techniques are usually deep breathing relaxation techniques, warm/cold compresses, music therapy, aromatherapy, and massage. Objective: to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about non-pharmacological management to reduce labor pain. Methods: counseling, discussion, question, and answer, as well as pretest and posttest. Result: there is an increase in knowledge of pregnant women who have good knowledge by 29,1%, namely from 62,5% increased to 91,6%. Conclusion: there is an increase in the knowledge of pregnant women about non-pharmacological management to reduce labor pain after receiving health education.

Abstract

Fluid and nutritional needs are physiological needs that must be properly met by the mother during the birth process. Dates are rich in carbohydrates as a source of energy, influencing the progress of labor, spontaneity in labor and reducing postpartum hemorrhage. Carbohydrates as amplifiers are sugars that are absorbed and used by the body's cells shortly after consumption. Dates also contain B vitamins, minerals, iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, saturated fatty acids and unsaturated fatty acids. Fatty acids besides providing energy also help provide prostaglandins. Fatty acids can help store energy and strengthen the uterine muscles. Dates also contain hormones that can stretch the uterus when approaching the birth of a baby. Therefore it is necessary to do counseling about the benefits of dates (Phoenix dactylifera L.) as an effort to facilitate labor. The activity of providing counseling about the benefits of dates (Phoenix dactylifera L.) as an effort to facilitate childbirth was carried out in Jempong Baru Village, Sekarbela District, Mataram City and was attended by 20 pregnant women. The results of the pretest and posttest showed an increase in pregnant women's knowledge about the benefits of dates (Phoenix dactylifera L.) as an effort to facilitate labor.

Abstract

The community empowerment is an effort to build community capacity and empower existing human resources through institutional development, facilities, and infrastructure, as well as the development of the three Ps (assistant, counseling, and service). The key to success for the community's welfare in developing villages is the firm touch of initiation, innovation, creation, and collaboration between village officials and the community to realize a shared goal. Village officials need help to carry out village development. Still, it needs support, initiative, and an active role from the community; one of the activities is empowering the community through the Pekon Sriwungu Community Development and Empowerment Program in Improving Welfare in Banyumas District. To realize the empowerment carried out in Pekon Sriwungu, Banyumas sub-district, allocating business capital participation to Pekon-owned Enterprises, taking the background of Pekon Sriwungu, Banyumas District. Based on the conditions on the ground, it can be said that BUMPekon Jaya Makmur Desa Sriwungu, in general, has played a role in improving the welfare of the community wherein carrying out daily activities BUMPekon Jaya Makmur through the management of the Village Tourism business unit has made a significant contribution to Pekon and its people where the presence of Bumpekon has created a center for the community's economic center by providing a particular area for people who have Culinary, Small and Medium Micro Enterprises (MSMEs), souvenirs, homestays and absorb labor from the Pekon community consisting of young people and people who are still productive and open up opportunities investment for people who have venture capital to build new tourist rides.
