Abstract

Dari data berpasangan (x1,y1), (x2,y2), … , (xn,yn) dimana xi tertentu atau terkontrol oleh pengamat, pengukuran xi akurat tetapi mahal biayanya atau dalam pengertian menghabiskan waktu, sedangkan yi kurang akurat tetapi lebih mudah diperoleh. Observasi yang akan datang yo dapat digunakan untuk mengestimasi xo yang tidak terobservasi, dapat diambil beberapa observasi, katakan ada k pada xo yang tidak terobservasi. Selanjutnya rumusan masalahnya adalah bagaimana menentukan admissibilitas serta inadmissibilitas dari estimator klasik dan invers. Metode penulisan dalam karya ilmiah ini adalah studi pustaka dengan mensitesa beberapa konsep tentang regresi terapan, estimasi titik, admissibilitas dan inadmissibilitas suatu estimator, kalibrasi linear. Kesimpulan akhir yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Estimator klasik inadmussubilitas yang ditunjukan dengan jalan menentukan suatu estimator lain yaitu estimator dari jenis Shrinkage yang mendominasi estimator klasik, (2) Estimator invers admissibilitas yang ditentukan dengan jalan menunjukan bahwa estimator tersebut adalah mean posterior dari 0 untuk fungsi kerugian galat kuadrat.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in this era requires teachers to be able to develop learning models that pay attention to the characteristics of students, so it is important for teachers to know learning trajectory. This study aims to describe the conception of learning trajectory and hypothetical learning trajectory, as well as presenting the design of hypothetical learning trajectories in mathematics learning. Based on the theories studied, it is concluded that hypothetical learning trajectory is a learning design in the form of allegations on student learning activities based on initial understanding and characteristics of students to achieve higher understanding. HLT has three main components namely learning objectives, learning activities, and hypotheses of the learning process. HLT is used by teachers as a guide to predict and prepare learning flow designs that are appropriate to the stages of student thinking and can improve student learning outcomes. The findings of previous studies show that to design HLT in mathematics learning, educators need to consider student obstacle learning, a hierarchy of material, and learning support capacity, so that learning activities to be hypothesized are built based on these things. It is recommended that future researchers can use the existing HLT, and also develop HLT in other materials that have not been tested by further studying HLT and whatever affects it, research with different differences can be used.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the national mathematics exam scores on grade point average (GPA), mathematics anxiety, and self-regulated learning of the second-year students of Mathematics Education study program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Nusa Cendana University in a multivariate manner. This study is a correlation research which was conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Nusa Cendana University. The population in this study were the mathematics education program students, Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Nusa Cendana University. The samples consist of 73 students. Data collection techniques used in this research are online questionnaires and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques used in this research are simple linear regression analysis and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) and also hypothesis testing using the t-test and probability level. The result shows that (1) tvalue<ttable = 0,397<1.99394 so that there is no significant influence of the national mathematics exam scores on the students’ GPA, (2) tvalue<t table = -0.270<1.99394 so that there is no significant influence of national examination scores on mathematics anxiety, (3) tvalue<t table = 0,560<1.99394 so that there is no influence between the national math test scores on self-regulated learning, and (4) the MANOVA test shows that the GPA has a significance level of 0.693>0.05, while mathematics anxiety shows a significance level of 0.848>0.05, and self-regulated learning shows a significance level of 0.540>0.05. In conclusion, the national mathematics exam scores in a multivariate manner do not influence the GPA, mathematics anxiety, and self-regulated learning. Abstract

For the presentation of the teachers' material more effectively and efficiently; therefore, it needs media learning that can motivate and stimulate students to morale in learning. One of them is by making use of ICT-based learning or media that we often call it TIK. This research aims to describe how the implementation of ICT-based learning media in learning mathematics in high school. This research is a research library. This research's nature is descriptive-i.e. decomposition analysis regularly, then the whole concept of giving comprehension and explanation to taste the result description. The analysis of the data used in this study analyzes the content (content analysis). The results of the research study this library is; (1) the existence of the benefits of ICT-based learning media in education; (2) the presence of the benefits of ICT-based learning media in the process of learning mathematics in high school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mengukur level literasi matematika siswa sekolah menengah di Kabupaten Kupang, dan 2) mengetahui perbedaan literasi matematika siswa sekolah menengah di Kabupaten Kupang ditinjau dari perbedaan gender, kemampuan matematika, dan status sosial ekonomi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA/K Kelas X di Kabupaten Kupang. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling dengan pemilihan sampel dalam tiap cluster sebanyak 1 kelas untuk sekolah. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) soal tes literasi matematika yang diambil dari soal tes PISA tahun 2006 dan 2012 yang terdiri dari 12 soal dengan konten change and relationship, shape and space, quantity, uncertainty, dan (2) angket latar belakang siswa yang berisi biodata siswa, keluarga, sekolah, pengalaman belajar matematika di sekolah. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji Mann Whitney dan uji Kruskal Wallis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan level literasi siswa berada pada level sedang (6,7%), level rendah (76,7%), dan sangat rendah (16,7%). Tidak terdapat perbedaan literasi matematika siswa yang signifikan berdasarkan tinjauan perbedaaan gender dan perbedaan status sosial ekonomi, serta terdapat perbedaan literasi matematika siswa yang signifikan berdasarkan tinjauan kemampuan matematika

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan problematika mahasiswa asing belajar statistika pada perguruan tinggi di Indonesia dan penyebabnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket bebas, teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data adalah lima mahasiswa asing penerima beasiswa KNB (Kemitraan Negara Berkembang scholarships) pada salah satu universitas negeri di Yogyakarta. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mencari subtema, kemudian menentukan hubungan antar subtema untuk memperoleh pemahaman. Adapun hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: pertama, mahasiswa sulit belajar Stastika karena bahasa pengantar yang digunakan. Kedua mahasiswa sulit belajar Stastika karena ketersediaan prior knowledge yang tidak memadai. Ketiga, mahasiswa sulit belajar statistika karena teknik penyajian materi yang digunakan ketika perkuliahan

Abstract

One of the most disturbing problems in queuing at the bank is if the bank provides insufficient number of tellers to serve the customers. It will be obviously put the customers in an uncomfortable situation. To solve this problem the bank could increase the number of tellers but it could bring some loss on the bank side if it then turns out to be excessive although it will meet the demand of the customers. Thus, to find the most optimal solution to solve the problem in queuing system we use genetic algorithm. The main issues raised in this research are how to apply the genetic algorithm in solving the problem of queuing system in PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Branch Kupang Unit Kelapa Lima with Turbo Pascal 7.0 assistance and how to determine the most optimal queuing system by using genetic algorithm with Turbo Pascal 7.0 program assistance that can be applied in PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Branch Kupang Unit Kelapa Lima. The purpose of genetic algorithm is to find the individuals with the highest value of fitness, thus the fitness function for the queuing system problem is the inversion of sum between how often a teller does not have customer to take care and the customer’s waiting time in a queue by using the genetic algorithm we could see that the sum of the optimal teller in busy hour is 4 tellers.

Abstract

Dalam menjalankan pelayanan pendidikan, Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Nusa Cendana belum mengetahui bagaimana penilaian mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan, sistem yang berjalan selama ini hanyalah mengikuti persepsi dari pihak program studi. Pihak Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika pernah mengadakan survei berkaitan dengan kinerja dosen dengan menggunakan angket yang diisi oleh setiap mahasiswa. Tetapi dalam angket tersebut, tidak ada wadah yang tersedia bagi mahasiswa untuk menyampaikan bagaimana pelayanan yang diharapkan oleh mahasiswa. Tujuan peneltian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadapa pelayanan yang diberikan pihak program studi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa angkatan tahun 2015- tahun 2019 Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, FKIP, Universitas Nusa Cendana. Pengambilan sampelnya menggunaka teknik cluster random sampling. Metode fuzzy service quality merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kepuasan pelayanan. Konsep fuzzy digunakan untuk membantu responden memberi nilai yang lebih obyektif sedangkan service quality digunakan untuk mendefinisikan tingkat kepuasan pelayanan berdasarkan perbedaan persepsi dan harapan mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa gap keseluruhan untuk pelayanan akademik adalah -0,341 dan gap keseluruhan untuk pelayanan administrasi adalah -0,141. Nilai gap tersebut menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa tidak puas dengan pelayanan yang diberikan Program Studi Pendidikan Matematikasehingga perlu ditingkatkan lagi pelayanan yang diberikan. Kata Kunci : Kepuasan Pelayanan, Metode Fuzzy Service Quality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the using cooperative learning TS-TS model on student learning outcomes in the Algebra Structure course. This research is an experimental research using a control class and an experimental class with a pretest posttest control group design. Sampling technique using strata sampling. The number of students in the experimental class was 27 people and the number of students in the control class was 28 people. The data analysis used descriptive N-Gain statistics, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing with independent t-test. The research data showed that the average post-test score in the control class was 74.47, which was higher than the average learning outcome for the control class, which was 63.46. This shows that the TS-TS type cooperative model is better than the conventional model.

Abstract

This research aims to describe perception of mathematics education students at Nusa Cendana University about e-learning course using schoology. It also describes students’ perception based on aspects and indicators of perception. It is descriptive quantitative research with survey method. Research sample consist of 41 students of semester 6 chosen with simple random sampling. The research was held on second semester of 2019/2020 academic year. Data collection was held by using instrument namely students perception scale. Data was analysed with descriptive statistics and then the findings was described. The results of this research indicate that (1) generally students’ perception was identified in very high (very positive) category with average score is 73, 39; (2) students’ perception was identified in very high (very positive) category for aspect schoology as media and in high (positive) category for aspect e-learning course quality; (3) students’ perception was identified in very high (very positive) category for all indicators of first aspect. For second aspect, it was identified in very high (very positive) category for 2 indicators and in high (positive) category for 2 others.
