Abstract

This study aims to describe mathematics in community farming activities in the Tobu subdistrict and to develop learning tools according to the mathematical concepts found. This research was conducted in Tobu village, Tobu subdistrict with 4 informants. The type of research used is in the form of exploratory qualitive research with an ethnographic design. The results this study indicate that there is ethnomahematics in community farming activities in the Tobu subdistrict in the form of counting, measuring, locating, designing and explaining activities. Mathematical concepts related to community farming activities in the Tobu subdistrict include repeated addition or multiplication, geometry, coordinate systems, number patterns, geometric transformations, comparisons, arithmetic sequences and sets. Thus, various mathematical concepts contained in farming activities can be used as a reference in the development of mathematics learning tools in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of students to solve story problems on the Pythagorean theorem material using structured and systematic stages, namely by doing heuristic learning strategies. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in collaboration with teachers. The CAR design used is the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart which consists of planning, action, observation and reflection activities. CAR was carried out on class VIII C SMP Superior Al-Yasini Pasuruan. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively by looking at the percentage of student learning outcomes. In the first cycle, a description of the students' abilities was obtained, but this did not meet the predetermined classical completeness. So that the implementation of the action is carried out based on the reflection of cycle 1. In the second cycle there is a significant increase. Learning outcomes in cycle 1 obtained an average of 78.75, then increased in cycle 2 with an average of 85.67 so that the significant difference between the two cycles is 14.3%. Thus, it can be concluded that the action applied is declared successful and can improve students' ability to solve story problems. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of internet use and interest in learning on student achievement in mathematics education at the University of Nusa CendanaKupang simultaneously. The type of research is correlational research and is carried out at the Mathematics Education Study Program of UNDANA Kupang. The population in this study were active students of mathematics education at UNDANA Kupang. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling so that the sample in this study were active students of mathematics education in semester V as many as 82 students. Data collection techniques using online questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression. Hypothesis test using t test and significant level. The results obtained that tvalue > ttable = 2.787 > 1.99006 so that there is a significant influence between internet use on student achievement. The result of the test is that tvalue > ttable = 6.537 > 1.99006 so that there is a significant effect of interest in learning on student achievement. From the multiple linear regression analysis test, Fvalue is 21.251 while the Ftable value is 3.110766 with sig. 0.000. < 0.05 so there is a significant effect between internet use and interest in learning on student achievement.

Abstract

The poverty line is the average expenditure to meet the needs of a decent life. The poverty line data of East Nusa Tenggara has increased, due to rice consumption as a major commodity. This forecasting is expected to provide an overview of poverty line in the future and contribute to poverty-related policy making. The data used was 22 data poverty line of East Nusa Tenggara from 2011 to 2021 (Rp/Capita/Month). The data is patterned trend, so this study will compare the double moving average and double exponential smoothing methods to forecast. The data is processed using Zaitun Time Series to get the best method. The comparison of double moving average and double exponential smoothing methods based on the similarities, the level of accuracy, and the differences were the best MAPE, forecasting results, and the efficiency of the method. Based on this comparison, the right method for forecasting the provincial poverty line (MAPE=1.755638) is double moving average. The minimum average expenditure of East Nusa Tenggara to meet the needs of decent living is Rp 443,386.58/capita/month (Mar-22), Rp 454,902.04/capita/month (Sep-22), Rp 466,417.5/capita/month (Mar-23), and Rp 477,932.96/capita/month (Sep-23). Therefore, the government can increase the popularity of local food to decrease the rice consumption.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Meningkatkan sikap matematika siswa melalui implementasi cooperative learning tipe STAD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari empat komponen yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Uji coba lapangan dilakukan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui pemberian tes, observasi, angket serta wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan kualitatif yang meliputi langkah-langkah pengumpulan data, penyajian data, pengambilan simpulan dan analisis data observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada presentase ≥ 80% dan dikatakan bahwa indikator keberhasilan pelaksanaan pembelajaran telah tercapai. Sikap matematika siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika ditunjukkan dengan kenaikan tingkat presentase skor angket ≥ 10% dan minimal kualifikasi presentase skor angket berada pada kategori cukup baik. Penelitian ini sangat direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan sikap matematika siswa, juga direkomendasikan pada guru yang mengembangkan model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran matematika khususnya kemampuan afektif siswa.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the aim for improving the learning process and increasing students' mathematics learning achievement using the Two Stay Two Stray’s approach. In this study there were 20 subjects. The research was conducted in 2 cycles where each cycle consisted of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Observations of students and learning achievement tests were carried out in collecting data in this study. If there is an improvement and the activities of teachers and students in each meeting and the number of students who reach the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) increases in each cycle, the action is declared successful. In this study, it is known that on the observation sheet it is known that the activities of teachers and students have improved at each meeting. The percentage of students who succeeded in achieving the MMC on the basic score was 20% and increased in the first cycle to 40% and continued to increase to 75% in the second cycle. The results of the study provide an illustration that the cooperative learning with TSTS approach can encourage the improvement of the learning process and increase mathematics learning’s achievement of students class XII IPA 2 SMAN 11 Pekanbaru in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

Dedekind Domain and prime ideals are part of the topics discussed in the field of abstract algebra. An integral Domain is said to be the Dedekind Domain if and only if it is a Noetherian, integrally closed, and each of its prime ideals is a maximum ideal. In 2019, Maulana discussed the prime ideal’s properties of Gauss integers. At present, there is no research about prime ideals of specific Dedekind Domain, because of that reason, in this article we will give some prime ideals and prime ideals’ characteristics in the area of the Dedekind Domain Z[x]/<x^2>. In this article, it is found the conclusion I=<x> and I=<k,x> are prime ideals in that Dedekind Domain.

Abstract

Zero-divisor graph is a geometric representation of a commutative ring. Zero-divisor graph of ring R that denoted by TR, defined by a graph whose vertices are all elements of zero-divisor set of a ring R, and two distinct vertices a and b are adjacent if and only if ab=0. In this paper, we will study some of the characterizations of the zero-divisor graph of integers modulo ring ( Zn). This study aims to know some forms of zero-divisor graph of ring (Zn ) and its properties. The method that used in this paper is deductive proof, by taking some example of zero-divisor graph of integer modulo ring ( Zn), then generalized the characterization of example. The firts result is if n=p^2, with p is a odd prime number, then the zero-divisor graph of ring is a complete graph. Then the second result is if n=p1p2, with p1 and p2 are different prime numbers, then the zero-divisor graph of ring is a complete bipartite graph and the diameter is 2.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk perbaikan proses pembelajaran dan peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik menggunakan pendekatan Two Stay Two Stray. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 20 orang subjek. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dimana tiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Pengamatan terhadap peserta didik dan tes prestasi belajar dilakukan dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini. Apabila terjadi perbaikan dan aktivitas guru dan peserta didik di tiap pertemuan dan banyaknya peserta didik yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) bertambah ditiap siklusnya maka tindakan dinyatakan berhasil. Pada penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa pada lembar pengamatan diketahui aktivitas guru dan peserta didik mengalami perbaikan di setiap pertemuan. Persentase peserta didik yang berhasil mencapai KKM pada skor dasar sebanyak 20% dan bertambah pada siklus I menjadi 40% dan terus bertambah menjadi 75% pada siklus ke-II. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif pendekatan TSTS dapat mendorong perbaikan proses pembelajaran dan mendorong peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik kelas XII IPA 2 SMAN 11 Pekanbaru pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2021/2022.
