Abstract

Background: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is complication of progressive kidney disease. Kidney will lose its function to control volume and body fluids. Patient CKD will be at terminal illness in various term from 2-3 months until 30-40 years. Hemodialysis is needed for CKD stadium terminal when kidney is unable to excrete waste of metabolism, control electrolyte and fluids balance, and secrete hormone. This condition will lead cumulative Nitrogen as waste product of metabolism. Objective: To determine relation between protein intake with ureum and creatinine concentration on CKD patient with hemodialysis at Hemodialysis Unit in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital. Methods: This is a descriptive analytic research using cross sectional research design. It was held on August 2016 at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital. Population is all CKD patients with Hemodialysis. Subject is chosen by inclusion criteria: want to join research and has 30-60 years old. Results: There is no significant correlation both protein intake with ureum concentration p=0.438 and protein intake with creatinin concentration p=0.205 based on Rank Spearman test. Conclusion: There is no significant correlation both protein intake with ureum concentration, and protein intake with creatinin concentration on patients with CKD at Hemodialysis Unit in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital. Abstract

Background : IDD problem is a serious problem, 33% of districts in Indonesia are endemic, 21% of endemic mild, moderate endemic 5% and 7% by weight endemic. Urine Iodine Excretion (EYU) illustrates the iodine intake of a person, because 90% of the iodine that enter the body are excreted through the urine. Blocking agents are substances certain minerals such as iron, manganese and calcium, which can bind iodine in groundwater. Objectives : This study aims to determine the relationship of Fe content in ground water sources against EYU levels in school children in the village of the District Cerme Panjatan Kulon Progo. Methods : An observational analytic research with cross sectional design. Data collection is done in May - June 2015. Location research Elementary School Cerme, District Panjatan Kulon Progo. The subjects of the study as many as 34 children in elementary school classroom Cerme 3, 4 and 5 were taken by simple random sampling. Well water and urine samples taken students then tested the iron in the Central Health Laboratory test Yogyakarta and iodine in urine in Magelang BP2GAKY Laboratory. Data analysis using Spearman Range test with significancy level : 0.05. Result : Fe content in the ground water is below the normal threshold is <0.3 mg / L. While levels EYU school children who are under the optimal level of 5.9%, the optimal level of 32.4%, and the optimum levels above 61.8% (optimal: 100 - 199μg / L). Conclusion : There was no significant relationship between the Fe content in groundwater with levels of EYU in school children in District Panjatan Kulon Progo (p = 0.447). Keywords: Fe, EYU

Abstract

Background : Iron deficiency anemia is one of the most common disorders that occur during pregnancy. Factors affecting anemia there is a wide range between low intake of other nutrients (intake of protein, iron, and vitamin C). Besides the low compliance of pregnant women in consuming iron tablet is one of the causes of the prevalence of anemia remains high. Data from health center Kalasan shows the percentage of anemia in pregnant mothers in 2015 by 22%. Objective : This study aims to determine the relationship between compliance of pregnant women consume iron tablet, intake of iron, protein and vitamin C with anemia in health center Kalasan. Methods : The study was conducted using cross sectional design in health center Kalasan in September through November 2016. The sample is third trimester pregnant women who totaled 41 people who meet the criteria for inclusion and exclusion. Samples were taken by way of Systematic Random Sampling. Data collected from mothers consuming compliance iron iron tablet, intake of iron, protein, vitamin C and anemia status. The data obtained in the test statistic used in the bivariate analysis were Chi Square test. Result : After analyzed the results get most expectant mothers dutifully consume the iron tablet (70.7%), iron intake in good (65.9%), protein intake in good (68.3%), vitamin C intake in good (65.9%) and anemia (70.7%). Conclusion : There is relationship compliance pregnant women consume iron tablets with anemia, there is a relationship iron intake with the incidence of anemia, there is a relationship of protein intake with the incidence of anemia, and no association of vitamin C intake with the incidence of anemia. Abstract

Background : Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder that can not be cured but can be controlled, characterized by hyperglycemia due to deficiency of insulin or the inadequate use of insulin. RISKESDAS in 2013 the prevalence of diabetes is highest in Yogyakarta, namely by 2.6%, the results of the study in Indonesia showed that (75%) of patients was not obeying the diet recommendation. The factor affecting obedience is a social family. Objective : This study aims to determine the relationship of family support for dietary compliance of patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 in Puskesmas Gamping 1. Method : This research using cross sectional method. This research was conducted in Puskesmas Gamping 1 in December 2016. The subject of this study is patients with diabetes melitus type 2 who 27 people. Sampling method using accidental sampling technique. Family support was measured using a questionnaire support the family, while 3J diet obedience was measured using 24-hour recall for eating schedule and amount, while food frequency questionnaire for type of food. Result : Based on the chi-square analysis with p-value 1.000 (> 0,05), then Ho is accepted. Conclusion : So there is no relationship between family support with diet obedience in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 Puskesmas Gamping 1 working area. Abstract

Background : Sausage is processed minced meat which is mixed with spices. Generally, sausage is made of beef which contains high cholesterol. It is not suitable to be consumed by anyone who has high blood pressure or who has high cholesterol in blood. Moreover, the price of beef in the market is quite expensive. Thus, alternatif option is needed to replace the main ingredient in order to be affordable for all people. Objective : The aim of this research is to determine the chracteristics of sausage product with mixed variation of common snakehead fish and soybean tempeh based on phisical characteristics, organoleptic characteristics, and protein content. Method : This research was a quasi-experimental with simple random design. Observation of physical characteristics was analizeddesciptively. Organoleptic charecteristic was analized by Kruskall-Wallis Test,it was continued to Mann Whitney Test if there was a difference. Protein content was analized desciptively. The results of physical characteristic were more soybean tempeh added, the color of sausage was more brown, the fishy smell was reduced, the taste of tempe was stronger, the taste of fish was reduced, and also the texture was softer. Result : The result of organoleptic charecteristics of the sausage which gets highest positive response on color and taste was sausage which has mixture of 80% common snakehead fish and 20% soybean tempeh. For smell and texture, sausage which gets highest positive response was sausage which has mixture of 90% common snakehead fish and 10% soybean tempeh. The result of protein content was more soybean tempeh added, the protein content was smaller. Conclusion : The conclucion of this research is mixing soybean tempeh influences the characteristics of sausage based on physical characteristics, organoleptic characteristics, protein content. Abstract

Background:Moringa (Moringaoleifera Lam.) Is a plant of high nutritional value, grows scattered in the tropics and sub-tropics, but utilization is still low. Each section has its benefits Moringa one part is the Moringa leaves contain a high calcium. In 100 grams of material, fresh Moringa leaves contain as much as 440 mg of calcium in the form of flour whereas if it contains as much as 2,003 mg of calcium. One of its use in the manufacture of flakes added. Objective: Know the difference physical harateristi, organoleptic characteristic and calcium levels in flakes variations addition of Moringa leaf powder. Methods: The study is a randomized experimental design with simple, includes four kinds of treatments, two replications with two experimental units. Observations of physical characteristic were analyzed by descriptive, the organoleptic characteristic of data analysis using statistical test Kruskal-Wallis continued Mann-Whitney and methods of test calcium content using permanganometri then the data were analyzed descriptive. Results: The physical characteristics of flakes greenish-yellow, slightly fragrant aroma typical of flakes, rather unpleasant taste typical of Moringa leaves and a slightly crunchy texture. Organoleptic characteristics the color of flakes with moringa leaf powder 5%, the aroma of the flakes without addition moringa leaf powder, the flavour of flakes with additions moringa leaf powder 5% and the texture of flakes with additions moringa leaf powder 7,5% most prefered panelist and high levels calcium of flakes with additions 10% moringa leaf powder. Conclusion: There is a difference variations addition of moringa leaf powder on physical, organoleptic characteristic (color) and the level of calcium flakes.Flakes with the addition of 5% moringa leaf powder is the most prefered panelist. Abstract

Background : Scaling Up Nutrition movement is a global effort to strengthen our commitment and accelerating action plan to improve nutrition, particularly the handling of nutrition in the first 1,000 days of life is exclusive breastfeeding and it until 24 months. One of the way is with exclusive breastfeeding counselling that can reduce stunting. The counseling is addressed to brides who need special attention in improving the nutrition and health. Objective : The aim of research to improve knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding counseling the bride through the use of leaflets. Method : This quasi-experimental study was a sample of 30 person a brides with non-random assignment, the variable a knowledge obtained through interviews using questionnaires while the method of counseling does face to face with an exclusive breastfeeding leaflet. The data was analyzed by dependent t-test. Result : The results showed exclusive breastfeeding counseling can improve knowledge bride (p= 0,000) with a mean difference is 6,13 and a deviation is 3,71. Conclusion : Increase of knowledge among ‘bride-to be’ about exclusive breastfeeding could be improved through the use of exclusive breastfeeding leaflet. Each health center must be in collaboration with Office of Religious Affairs to have exclusive breastfeeding counseling, and set one of the priority programs in the prevention of child stunting. Abstract

Background : Epidemiological transition stems from a change where a decline in the prevalence of communicable diseases and non- communicable diseases (NCDs) have increased. Report in 2011 there was one billion people worldwide suffer from hypertension and in Indonesia the figure reached 31.7%. Objective : The purpose of this study was to determine the epidemiological of hypertension Gamping I Community Health Center and determine the proportion of hypertension according to age, sex, occupation, education, socio-economic, geographic, demographic and access to health services. Method : The research design was a retrospective cohort. This research was conducted in Gamping I Community Health Center in November 2016. Population and sample in this study were all patients with hypertension in Gamping I Community Health Center in 2013, 2014 and 2015. The independent variables in this study were age, gender, education, employment, social, cultural, demographic population density, geographic and ease of access to health services. While the dependent variable is the proportion of hypertension. Data analysis was performed using Chi Square to know know the proportions of age, gender, education, employment, social, economic, population density, geography, access to health services with hypertension in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Result : Based on the analysis proves the young elderly, women, housewife, secondary education, non-poor families, low-lying area, population density and access to health care were likely to have hypertension with percentages respectively 33%, 66.7%, 44.9%, 70.1%, 76.7% , 71.9%, 37.9% and 82.9%. Abstract

Background : The number of DM victims in the world increased year by year. According to Health Elementary Research in 2013 the highest number was in DIY, it was 2,6%. Then, according to Godean I Local Government Clinic data, DM was the second rank of Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) after hypertension. The increasing of DM victims number was connected by the overweight case that was influenced by unhealthy diet and lack ofphysic activities so it caused accumulation of fat tissues. In the next time it can cause complication for the victims. There are three pillars of DM management namely, diet, psychological intervention, and exercises. The first that should be done is exercises. One of them is physic exercises namely DM gymnastic. Its functions are to control blood sugar, lose weight and body fat so cardiovascular disease risk factor can be prevented and fixed. In this research the DM gymnastic was done three times in a week for six weeks in duration time of 30-60 minutes. Objective : Purpose of the research to know the influence of DM gymnastic to the change of fat body percentage of DM type II victims in Godean I Local Government Clinic. Method : Research method this research used quasi-experiment method, the research plan used pre-post design. The population was all of DM type II victims in Godean I Local Government Clinic with the subject number were 24 people. The data analysis used statistic test Paired Sample t Test with the credibility 95%. Result : Result of the research the statistic test Paired Sample t Ttest showed that there were not differences before and after DM gymnastic treatment for six weeks. According to the average of fat body percentage after DM gymnastic treatment was higher than before (32,52% > 32,86%). Conclusion : There was no influence of DM gymnastic to the body fat percentage of DM type II victims in GodeanI Local Government Clinic p = 0,59 or p = >0,05. Abstract

Background : Physical fitness, demonstrate one’s ability to perform physical activities that require strength, endurance and flexibility. Physical fitness is influenced by genetics, age, sex, physical activity, nutritional status, health status, hemoglobin levels and the adequacy of the break. The body can last approximately three days without food intake, but the body can only survive no more than one day without liquid. In addition to the nutritional needs, the athlete also needs hydration and setting a good fluid intake. Objective : The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of energy intake and hydration status of athletes with physical fitness ball voly Baja 78 Bantul, Yogyakarta. Method : This observational study using cross sectional, held at Club Bola Voly Baja 78 Bantul, Yogyakarta. A total of 14 athletes were volleyball ball menjad research subjects. The independent variable is the energy intake and hydration status while the dependent variable is physical fitness. In order to prove the hypothesis test product moment correlation. Result : The results showed that most of the subjects had moderate the rate of energy intake by 71%. belonging to the hydration status of either 64%, and 50% of subjects had a moderate level of physical fitness research conclusion; Conclusion : There is a relationship between hydration status with physical fitness, there was no significant correlation between the hydration status of athletes with physical fitness club volleyball ball Baja 78 Bantul, Yogyakarta.
