Abstract

The development of noble character, especially the awareness of protecting the environment, can be optimized through the internalization process in learning. Children's literary media is an effective medium, especially applied to elementary school-aged children at the golden age of character planting. Stories in children's literature can dialogue life in an interesting, concrete, and contextual way. The fable entitled "The Story of a Seagull and the Cat Who Teaches It to Fly" by Luis Sepulveda is one of the translated fables with the theme of environment and family, which is considered to have the potential to be used as a learning resource for environmental education. Research that attempts to analyze the environment's value in fables and its use as a learning resource in the era of the MerdekaBelajar(independent learning) curriculum is still very limited. This research aimed to; 1) describe the value of environmental education in the fable "The Story of a Seagull and the Cat Who Teaches It to Fly" by Luis Sepulveda; 2) describe the use of fables as a learning resource for elementary school students; 3) describe its relevance to the profile of Pancasila students in the independent learning curriculum. This research is qualitative, using a text study approach and descriptive analysis. This study showed that this fable can be used as a source of learning materials for elementary school students following the theories that support student development and learning approaches, such as; meaningful learning and constructivism, as well as relevant to the proclamation of the Pancasila student profile in the Merdeka Belajar(independent learning) curriculum. The implication of this study is a recommendation for developing children's literature-based learning media to internalize environmental awareness characters

Abstract

The online learning process leaves many problems in its implementation. One problem is the teacher's unpreparedness to manage stress due to implementing online learning activities. This study aimed to improve mathematics teachers' readiness to deal with pressure during online learning activities. The method used is action research which refers to 5 aspects of stress. The subjects in this study were 30 mathematics teachers who were members of the Serang Regency Subject Matter Teacher Forum. Indicators of success are participants who experience each aspect under eight people. Activities carried out in 2 cycles. The test results showed that the average score on the physical aspect changed from 15 people at the beginning of the assessment to 9 people in the first posttest and seven people in the second posttest. Furthermore, the emotional aspects of 14 people became nine people in the first posttest and six people in posttest 2. The mental aspect changed from 10 people in the pretest to 8 people in posttest 1 and five people in posttest 2. Behavioral aspects from 17 people to 10 people in the first posttest and seven people in the second posttest. The last aspect, spiritual, from 8 people, turned into four people in the first post-set and three people in the second post-set. Based on the data, training activities can reduce teacher stress levels during the online learning period.

Abstract

The degree to which a person is seen as having the attitudes and traits necessary for success in studies in the future is known as e-learning management system (EMAS) ready. This study evaluated the EMAS preparation measure for medical students. The study's methodology makes use of the Borg and Gall five-step streamlined research design. The EMAS preparedness scale is measured using ten items and five dimensions. 117 students at the Faculty of Medicine, at a public university in Depok, Indonesia, were given the questionnaire. the relationship between the reliability test, Cronbach's Alpha, and the validity test, Pearson's Product Moment. These are the study's findings: All items had values of α .05, testing the instrument's validity on 10 item questions indicates that all question items are declared valid with a value greater than r table 0.1816. While test reliability indicates an alpha value of Cronbach 0.678, the tested instrument can be declared reliable or consistent. According to the results, ten items possessed high validity and reliability.

Abstract

Eco-literacy plays an important role in learning awareness about protecting the environment. Ecoliteracy needs to be given to children early to instill basic environmental preservation behaviors. There has been a decline in environmental quality due to low awareness of eco-literacy. This study aims to review bibliometric literature on applying eco-literacy-based learning to increase student awareness of the importance of protecting the surrounding environment. The literature review was taken from articles obtained using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application from 2017 to 2022 and obtained 67 articles. The articles are then analyzed using VOSviewer software to map and look for research gaps that are still possible to be researched. Some topics provide research opportunities, including "education", "environmental education", "environmental", "sustainability", and "ecological literacy". From the point of recent research on the application of student eco-literacy-based learning models for environment-related materials still provides room to be carried out.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the feasibility of developing a physics pocketbook mobile on Android (Phy-pockemon) to address scientific literacy skills in energy source material. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The result of the developed media is the Phy-Pckemon application. Through expert validation referring to the educational information and communication technology center, subject matter expert validation carried out by three validators obtained a percentage value of 95% with a very feasible category. Media expert validation received a percentage value of 94% with a possible category, while based on trials limited to the Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) evaluation, which was conducted on 20 class XII students at one of the Islamic senior high school in Indonesia, an average response percentage of 93% was obtained with a very decent category. The results show that using Phy-Pockemon to address scientific literacy skills in energy sources is appropriate for use in learning.
