Humans need communication to help survival, one of which is by using language as a means of communication. Language is the most effective communication tool in conveying messages, thoughts, feelings, goals to others and allows for creating cooperation between humans. So that the role of language becomes very dominant in various human daily activities. The purpose of this study is to describe matters relating to language as a means of communication and communication in everyday life. The method used in this research is the literature review method, the data are collected from relevant literature data. The result of this research and discussion is to explain about language as a communication tool which discusses the function of language as a human communication tool which includes five basic functions, namely the function of expression, the function of information, the function of exploration, the function of persuasion, and the function of entertainment. And explain about communication in everyday life which discusses why we communicate and the language used when communicating in everyday life. As social beings, of course humans in their lives need communication to be able to establish relationships with other humans. Language is the most effective tool or medium for conveying thoughts, with human language being able to interact and talk about anything. For this reason, every human being communicates to get or convey information or messages

Hoaxes are becoming one of the things that are increasingly found in todays digital era. The types of hoaxes circulating in the community are also very diverse, one of which is the Ministry of Education and Culture quota phishing link hoax. This hoax is targeting the personal data of students and people who need internet quota during this pandemic. For this reason, we want to find out how aware Uninus students are about the importance of personal data security. This study uses descriptive approach, and data collection technique is through interviews and questionnaires. This type of research data is primary data, and the research subjects are Uninus students. The object of this research is the awareness of Uninus students towards personal information, the informants are class A students of the Communication Studies study program. As a result, the informants admitted that they had received phishing links from the Ministry of Education and Culture quota and knew that phishing links could threaten personal data and could also cause material and non-material losses. They also know the steps to avoid becoming a victim of phishing links and the informants admitted that they are very aware of the importance of personal information security.

Path occupies the fourth position with the dominance of users ranging in age from 20 to 25 years. We will conduct research in the form of a survey. The survey is a quantitative basic form". The object of this research is "The Influence of Instagram Social Media Use in the Kandaga Village community". Researchers conducted a survey on the influence of Instagram social media use in the Kandaga village community. Our group used a survey with questionnaire research which was used to collect research data containing questions and statements answered by respondents. In addition, other words of influence are a state of reciprocity, or a causal relationship between what affects and what is influenced. The Internet significantly influences the way people live by changing because of its technology. We get There are 12 informants who use Instagram among teenagers and we asked some questions regarding the influence of Instagram media.There are 80% of them prefer to interact with friends face to face or directly and 70% of them get information and insight from them. he's the instagram.

Research on this problem aims to understand the interpersonal communication of parents on the character of their children to build an effective communicative attitude, and to develop children's communication skills in the family environment and in the community, so that parental communication can be open and easy to understand. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of qualitative data. The data used is through in-depth interviews with two informants, namely the father and mother. The results of research conducted from the results of theories associated with the results of interviews that obtain and explain that some parents want their children to be more open and consider their children as friends to improve the quality of two-way interpersonal communication in children towards the character of the child so that interpersonal communication is always always done by parents, the child's character becomes more confident and always open.

Internet makes it easy for people, especially young people to communicate. Advances in Internet technology and mobile phones, social media is also growing rapidly. Young people in the modern era are proficient in managing and utilizing computer technology in using the Internet. The modern era can be said to be an era where there is a lot of development, be it the development of culture, the development of education and technology. It is very regrettable if the use of the internet even make the younger generation has no moral value in itself. The emergence of social media is one of the developments of the entry of globalization which makes humans connected to each other. With descriptive qualitative research, researchers can see the views of parents in Simpen Kidul village, Balubur Limbangan sub-district, Garut district in dealing with their children who have been involved with social media. This parent’s view is indispensable for this study to measure how big the role of parents in supervising their children playing social media.The role of parents for underage children who play social media is very important, because parental education and supervision greatly influences children's behavior and development. Although the ways of parent’s to educate their children are different, the goal they want to achieve is that parent’s do not want their children to have, miscommunication, especially to become addicted to playing social media which will later have a negative impact on their children, not only harm the child, of course detrimental to parent’s as well.

This study aims to reveal how the lifestyle of the students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Islam Nusantara after carrying out activities on Instagram social media. This study uses a descriptive approach with quantitative research methods. This method provides an overview of how the influence of Instagram social media on the lifestyle of the students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Islam Nusantara. The quantitative descriptive research method instrument that the researcher uses is a questionnaire (questionnaire). This study seeks information about the impact of Instagram on student behavior, as well as how respondents respond to Instagram which is currently booming.

This study aims to determine the teaching style of lecturers on student learning motivation at the Islamic University of Nusantara Bandung, the study program of communication science. The type of research used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection method in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 15 Uninus students of the communication science study program at random, and conducting a survey on the answers from the 15 resource persons. From the results of this study, almost 100% of the informants agreed that the teaching style of lecturers in the new normal era was very influential on understanding a material and their learning motivation. The more attractive the lecturer's teaching style, the easier it is to understand the material.

This research was conducted to see more clearly the impact that child’s receive due to drastic changes in the learning system in Indonesia since the Covid-19 pandemic. In the online learning process conducted in unison this certainly has a very impact on students who live it including children who should be more limited in their use in order to maintain the physical and psychic condition of the child.Therefore, we are working with parents to see how children are progressing in dealing with these changes in the learning system and how they see the impact of parenthood. From this we see that this online learning has a profound impact on the child's own life, either directly or indirectly and it depends on the economic condition of the family and the family's parenting patterns
