Abstract

The lack of greenery and the large amount of vacant land in Wanaraja Village has caused a lot of problems faced by the local community, one of the problems faced is the problem of flooding. According to data released from the Wanaraja Village government that floods often occur in the rainy season from Sukamenak Village to Wanaraja Village RW.08 which of course these floods will greatly disrupt the lives of the surrounding community both in terms of damage to houses and the contents of goods or other public infrastructure . This tree planting work program aims to help withstand water pressure due to heavy rains besides that this work program can prevent soil erosion so as to prevent floods or landslides. The results achieved are that the environment of Wanaraja Village will become more well-maintained. Besides that, it is hoped that tree planting can prevent disasters such as floods or landslides that have occurred before.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture is a mandatory activity that combines the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education with the method of providing learning and work experience to students. Wanamekar Village is one of the villages located in Wanaraja District, Garut Regency. The area of ​​Wanamekar Village is 78.5 hectares. The rapid growth rate has made the development of settlements for the residents of Wanamekar Village so rapid. According to data obtained from the Village Head, the livelihood of most residents is traders in the market. The potential that can be developed in Wanamekar Village, especially in Hamlet 1, is MSME, including salt, knitting and noga. The method used is the ICT volunteer integration approach which consists of four stages. Based on the results of the KKN activities, several benefits were obtained in the economic field, including the knitting business getting a visual display as a form of implementing K3 in the work area. In the health sector, the results show that the environment is clean and encourages the community to carry out community service. In addition, the community is enthusiastic about visiting the posyandu and the community has adopted a healthy life such as carrying out routine healthy exercise. In the field of education, results were obtained based on data that had been collected from seminars and door to door activities of 500 digitally literate people. In the social field the KKN team succeeded in helping the community in welcoming Independence Day.

Abstract

One of the goals of community empowerment is to support regional development through improving the quality of human resources and the wise and responsible use of natural resources towards competitive advantage in local, regional and global competition. Community empowerment is carried out through the Garut Institute of Technology Real Work Lecture program in an effort to increase and foster a sense of student empathy for the conditions of society and its environment, in order to be able to solve problems experienced by the community. With the plan to have a Water Tourism Village in Wanasari Village, Group 3 KKN students participate by carrying out various work programs such as making signposts for directions and naming several location points on Google maps as a way to make it easier to find the location of a Water Tourism Village in the future. Implementation of each work program in preparing for the Water Tourism Village, students always involve the community in order to increase the participation, knowledge and skills of the community. The implementation of the activities of each work program is divided into four method stages. The first stage is location observation and problem identification, the second stage is problem solving formulation, the third stage is implementation of activities in the field, the fourth stage is evaluation and monitoring for corrections and improvements to program sustainability. Activities are carried out after students hold hearings with village officials and community leaders, so that the priority scale of activities is determined based on the conditions and potential that exist in the Wanasari Village community. As many as 41% of the total 3,902 residents of Wanasari Village gave a good response to the Group 3 KKN Student work program.

Abstract

THEMATIC KKN is an activity with a background in community service. This service is of course aligned with the background of the community in the area where the KKN is carried out. The background of the community in the KKN area of ​​Wanajaya village Most of the population are MSME managers, breeders and laborers. With this data, an increase in productivity in their business activities is an important thing to explore. Then the increase in productivity must be accompanied by an increase in human resources which basically in this day and age must be able to operate technology that contains information and be able to communicate it properly. In this way, the work program carried out aims to improve business capabilities with qualified human resources. The program is carried out in 4 stages, namely the observation stage, the socialization stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. In the socialization stage it produces data on human resources who have experienced an increase in digital knowledge of 435 people and the evaluation stage produces an effect of increasing community productivity in processing a product in the form of BOKASI fertilizer.

Abstract

Tourism villages are an alternative to accommodate the needs of tourists where the potential of rural areas in the form of rural natural scenery, historical and cultural heritage as well as various folk arts and crafts have so far attracted the interest of tourists. Cinunuk Wanaraja Village, Garut Regency is considered to have various tourism potentials that can be an attraction, one of which is religious tourism and bathing tours in Cibolerang. If natural uniqueness or activities already exist in a village, then the next step is empowering the community to be involved in developing tourism potential in Cinunuk village, but this development has not run optimally because the potential of the village has not been maximally explored and there is still a lack of utilization of technology to support the tourism potential of Cinunuk. The method used is mixed methods including qualitative methods to examine aspects of supply, community characteristics and policies, quantitative methods to examine aspects of tourist interest and observation methods. With work programs that include improving environmental quality, industrial programs and the application of technology can solve problems faced by residents and can provide benefits in achieving increasing public awareness of environmental quality, increasing public knowledge of economic activities and increasing mastery of community information technology to support the development of tourist villages kiss.

Abstract

Corn is one type of agro-industry which is a potential superior in Sindangratu Village, Wanaraja, Garut. Corn is a plant with high nutritional content and has economic value, thus corn can be an agribusiness that has added value if it is increased into several types of processed food. But there are still many corn farmers who have not been able to process corn into its derivative products, corn is usually only sold raw to the market. The purpose of carrying out this community service activity is to produce processed corn products, one of which is corn syrup and see the opportunities for corn syrup if it is produced, thereby increasing the income of corn farmers in Sindangratu Village. The analytical method used is to analyze technical and production aspects, business feasibility by calculating the cost of production, marketing aspects, and community support. Business feasibility is seen based on the profit that will be obtained in one month for making 864 bottles of corn syrup, namely Rp. 1,688,409 with a selling price of Rp. 8,061 per bottle (150 ml).

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a form of application of knowledge that has been obtained during lectures that is applied in social life. The KKN which was carried out in Sindangmekar Village, Wanaraja District, Garut Regency, West Java lasted for 1 month starting from August 1 to August 31 2022. Sindangmekar Village was the village chosen as the destination for the implementation of KKN by Group 7. The potential of the existing villages Most of them are in agriculture, where this is one of the livelihoods for the community. This is because agricultural land in Sindangmekar Village is more suitable for use in rainfed agriculture, where the agriculture relies on rainwater so that the type of plant that is widely cultivated is corn which is used as a livelihood for the surrounding community. But not only in the agricultural sector, the potential that exists in Sindangmekar Village is also in the textile sector, namely MSMEs that produce Muslim Clothing & Veils. KKN begins with the village observation process and sees the potential of the village which will be the main target in the implementation of KKN. The implementation of the KKN program is carried out in a balanced manner starting with planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results achieved from the entire KKN work program include developing community skills and helping in human resource development to increase the potential of the local village. As well as developing concepts in the processing and utilization of corncob waste for the community and students. Briefing on the importance of protecting the environment to avoid waste. And planting 1000 plant seeds as a form of greening activities.

Abstract

The majority of MSME actors in Sukamenak Village have mostly elementary and junior high school education so they can be categorized as having low education. This has an impact on increasing production and marketing capacity. The main problem in marketing knowledge starts with MSME players, especially Papandak coffee and palm sugar, who only market their products without advertising support, both traditionally and digitally. The Digital Literacy Seminar training program regarding increasing MSME marketing aims to increase the capacity of MSME actors in marketing products and improve the quality of marketing knowledge. The methodology used is the ICT Volunteer Integration methodology, where the implementation method uses the offline method. The results achieved were by increasing the knowledge of MSME actors in product marketing so as to help increase the marketing capacity of MSMEs for Papandak coffee and palm sugar.
