Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu bagaimana orangtua memberi  motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar di Sekolah Dasar Kabupaten Maros pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga sekolah yang ada di kabupaten Maros. Metode yang di gunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah angket dan dokumentasi, data diolah dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata indeks skor perdimensi pola asuh dan rumus presentase untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian terdapat pola asuh yang berbeda yang diterapkan orangtua. Pola asuh demokratis lebih cenderung digunakan. Dengan nilai skor rata-rata indeks skor sebesar 61,3, dan perkembangan prestasi belajar anak nilai rata-rata indeks skor 81,23 ada selalu memberi pengaruh pola asuh orangtua terhadap keinginan belajar meningkat, maka hasil belajar sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Maros juga meningkat. This study aims to find out how parents encourage learning motivation and learning achievement of Primary School Students in Maros Regency for academic year 2018/2019. The sample in this study consisted of three schools in Maros Regency. The methods used in data collection are questionnaires and documentation. The data is processed by calculating the average index score for each dimension of parenting and the percentage formula to analyze the effect of learning motivation. The results of the study show that there are different parenting styles implemented by parents. Democratic parenting is more likely to be used. With an average index score of 61.3, and the development of children's learning achievement, with average index score of 81.23, there is always an effect of parenting on learning motivation to increase, so the learning outcomes of primary schools in Maros Regency also increase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan penerapan teknik Clustering, mengetahui gambaran keterampilan menulis puisi bebas siswa, menguji keefektifan penerapan teknik clustering terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi bebas siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Kelompok IV, Kecamatan Biringkanaya, Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen semu yaitu desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel yaitu variabel bebas penerapan teknik clustering dan variabel terikat adalah keterampilan menulis puisi bebas. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 121 siswa sekolah dasar kelompok IV Kecamatan Biringkanaya Makassar. Selanjutnya penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster sampling yang terdiri dari kelompok atau cluster yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 30 siswa. Instrumen pengukuran yang digunakan adalah tes, angket dan lembar observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan dua jenis statistik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Efektivitas penerapan teknik clustering dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan secara umum terlaksana dengan baik. (2) keterampilan menulis puisi bebas siswa SD kelompok IV di Kecamatan Biringkanaya Makassar dengan teknik clustering lebih tinggi yaitu 83,63 dibandingkan keterampilan menulis puisi bebas yang tidak menggunakan teknik clustering yaitu 76,27. (3) Penerapan teknik clustering dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia efektif pada keterampilan menulis puisi bebas siswa kelas V kelompok IV Kecamatan Biringkanaya Makassar. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of Clustering technique, to know the description of students' free poetry writing skill, to test the effectiveness of the implementation of the clustering technique toward free poetry writing skill of fifth grade students at Elementary School Group IV, Biringkanaya District, Makassar. This study is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental design, namely the design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. In this study, there are two variables: the independent variable is the implementation of clustering technique and the dependent variable is free poetry writing skill. The population of this study were 121 elementary school students in group IV, Biringkanaya District, Makassar. Furthermore, the number of sample is decided by using a cluster sampling technique that consists of groups or clusters, which are an experimental group and a control group, with 30 students each group. The instruments used were tests, questionnaires and observation sheets. The data obtained were analyzed by using two types of statistics. The results of the analysis show that: (1) the effectiveness of the implementation of clustering technique in Indonesian language learning which consists of several stages in general is well implemented; (2) the free poetry writing skill of elementary school students in group IV in Biringkanaya district, Makassar, with a clustering technique is higher, which is 83.63 compared to the free poetry writing skill of students who did not use a clustering technique, with only 76.27; (3) the implementation of clustering technique in Indonesian language learning is effective towards the free poetry writing skill of fifth-grade students in group IV, Biringkanaya district, Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, menganalisis dan menginterprestasi (1) Kompetensi guru di SDN 22 Kabupaten Maros, dan (2) Strategi pengembangan kompetensi guru di SDN 22 Kabupaten Maros. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 22 Kabupaten Maros. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru di SDN 22 Kabupaten Maros. Data dikumpul melalui dokumentasi dan wawancara. Data dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil rekapitulasi penilaian kinerja guru di SDN 22 Maros selama tahun 2017-2018 dari jumlah guru sebanyak empat belas orang menunjukkan bahwa pada (1) kompetensi pedagogik, semua guru masuk dalam kategori tinggi.  (2) kompetensi kepribadian, semua guru masuk dalam kategori tinggi. (3) Kompetensi sosial, terdapat delapan guru yang telah masuk dalam kategori tinggi dan enam guru yang masuk dalam kategori sedang. (4) Kompetensi profesional, terdapat sepuluh guru yang telah masuk dalam kategori tinggi dan empat guru yang masuk dalam kategori sedang. Strategi yang digunakan kepala sekolah SDN 22 Maros dalam mengembangkan kompetensi guru adalah kegiatan Supervisi khusus, Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) dan Pendidikan Pelatihan (Diklat). This study aims to determine, analyze and interpret: (1) Teacher competencies in SDN 22 Maros Regency; and (2) Development strategies of teacher competencies in SDN 22 Maros Regency. This research is a descriptive analysis using a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SDN 22 Maros Regency. The subjects of this study were the principal and teachers at SDN 22 Maros Regency. Data collected through documentation and interviews. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion stages. The results showed that the recapitulation of teacher performance appraisal at SDN 22 Maros during 2017-2018 from a total of fourteen teachers showed that in: (1) pedagogical competence, all teachers are in the high category; (2) personality competence, all teachers are in the high category; (3) social competence, there are eight teachers who have been included in the high category and six teachers who are in the medium category; (4) Professional competence, there are ten teachers who have been included in the high category and four teachers who are in the medium category. The strategy used by the principal of Public Elementary School 22 Maros Regency in developing teacher competencies is through Special Supervision, Teacher Working Group (KKG) and Training Education (Diklat) activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen murni (True Eksprimen). Contextual teaching learning (CTL) dapat menghubungkan kemampuan yang diharapkan apda suatu mata pelajaran dengan pekerjaan atau kehidupan sehari-hari. Peneliti membatasi masalah yaitu siswa merasa bosan ketika belajar, kurang berpartisipasi, dan rendahnya perhatian siswa ketika pelajaran IPS, sehingga hasil belajar yang didapat masih dibawah nilai KKM. Tujuan Penelitian penulisan ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) memperoleh gambaran tentang penerapan model pembelajaran CTL dalam pembelajaran IPS (2) memperoleh gambaran tentang hasil belajar IPS siswa yang diajar menggunakan Model Pembelajaran CTL. (3) mengetahui pengaruh tentang hasil belajar IPS antara yang diajar dengan model Pembelajaran CTL. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran CTL berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan nilai hasil belajar IPS siswa. Setelah dianalisis pengaruh tersebut disebabkan oleh: Pertama peserta didik kelas eksperimen proses pembelajaran lebih aktif dan bermakna daripada kelas kontrol. Kedua, penerapan model pembelajaran (CTL) dikelas tiga pada penelitian ini membuat peserta didik lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Ketiga salah satu prinsip pembelajaran CTL adalah konstruktivis. Esensi dari proses konstruktivis adalah bahwa peserta didik harus dapat menemukan dan mentrasformasikan suatu informasi ke situasi nyata. keempat adalah kegiatan diskusi yang dilaksanakan dikelas eksperimen.  Kegiatan diskusi dalam pembelajaran CTL membangun terciptanya Learning Community, sehingga siswa yang memiliki kemampuan lebih akan membantu peserta didik lain yang kurang dalam kekompaknya. This research is a pure experimental research (True Experiment). Contextual teaching learning (CTL) can connect the skills expected in a subject with work or daily life. Researchers limit the problem to students who feel bored when learning, lack of participation, and lack of student attention during social science lessons, so that the learning outcomes obtained are still below KKM score. The objectives of this research are as follows: (1) to obtain an overview of the application of CTL model in social science learning; (2) to obtain a description of the social science learning outcomes of students who are taught using CTL model; (3) to determine the effect of social science learning outcomes of those taught using CTL model. The findings of this study indicate that CTL model has an effect on increasing the students' social science learning outcomes. After analyzing the effect, it is caused by: First of all, in the experimental class, the learning process of students is more active and meaningful than the control class. Secondly, the implementation of CTL model in third grade in this study makes students more active during the learning process. Thirdly, one of the principles of CTL model is constructivism. The point of the constructivistic process is that students must be able to find and transform information into real situations. The fourth reason is a discussion activity carried out in the experimental class. Discussion activities in CTL model build the creation of community learning so that students who have more abilities will help other students who are less capable.

Abstract

Proses pendidikan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan peserta didik mengalami peningkatan kemampuan akademik secara kuantitatif dan memiliki motivasi untuk belajar tinggi. Kedua hal ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh metode yang digunakan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Course Review Horay merupakan salah satu metode yang diyakini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan akademik dan motivasi belajar pada anak karena dapat meningkatkan pemahaman anak dan menghasilkan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan. Jenis penelitian adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan NonEquivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Inpres Bakung II Kota Makassar. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V yang berjumlah 78 peserta didik. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 40 peserta didik kelas V-A dan 38 peserta didik kelas V-B. Penentuan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Model pembelajaran Course Review Horay dapat meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran, (2) Model pembelajaran Course Review Horay dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, (3) Terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. Dan (4) Terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Education aims to improve academic abilities and learning motivation of students. Both of these are highly influenced by the method used by teachers in learning process. Course-Review-Horay is one method that is believed to improve academic ability and learning motivation of children because it can increase children's understanding and generate a fun learning environment. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design with NonEquivalent Control Group Design. This research was conducted at SD Inpres Bakung II Makassar City. The population of this study were all grade V students, counting for 78 students. The sample of this study consisted of 40 students in class V-A and 38 students in calss V-B. The decision of the experimental group and the control group was done by using purposive sampling. Hypothesis test used was Wilcoxon test. The results show that; (1) Course-Review-Horay learning model can increase student motivation in learning, (2) Course-Review-Horay learning model can improve student learning outcomes, (3) There is an influence of the implementation of Course-Review-Horay learning model to students' learning motivation, and (4) There is an influence of the implementation of Course-Review-Horay learning model to students’ learning achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dan menganalisis kevalidan kepraktisan dan keefektifan Bahan Ajar Bahasa Indonesia dengan Mengunakan Model Shared di SD Karuwisi II Kota Makassar. Peneltian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan perangkat yang akan membantu siswa dalam memahami pembelajaran terpadu, khususnya tipe shared. Penelitian Ini dilakukan di SD Karuwisi II Kota Makassar. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Karuwisi II Kota Makassar.  Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi and angket. Peneliti menganalisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian menghasilkan produk prototipe model bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia dengan model shared. Hasil uji coba model bahan ajar baik pada uji coba terbatas maupun uji coba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia dengan model shared layak untuk digunakan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia dengan model shared yang terdiri dari buku bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia beserta panduan penggunaannya, dan buku lembar kerja siswa (LKS) dinyatakan valid, praktis, efektif dan layak digunakan. The aim of this study was to find out and analyze the validity, practicality and effectiveness of Indonesian Language Teaching Materials by Using the Shared Model at Karuwisi II Elementary School, Makassar. This study is development research. This research develops teaching materials that help students to understand integrated learning, especially the Shared Model. This research was conducted at Karuwisi II Elementary School, Makassar. The subject of this study was fourth grade students of SD Karuwisi II, Makassar. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and questionnaires. The researcher analyzed the data qualitatively and quantitatively. This study produced a prototype model of Indonesian language teaching materials with the Shared Model. The results of the trial of teaching material models both in limited trials and field trials indicated that Indonesian language teaching materials with the Shared Model were feasible to use. Thus, it can be concluded that the Indonesian language teaching materials with the Shared Model consisting of Indonesian language teaching materials along with guidelines for their use and student worksheets were valid, practical, effective and appropriate to use.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jenis kesalahan menulis karangan argumentasi dengan menggunakan kata lampau di SMAN 2 FakFak. Klasifikasi jenis kesalahan dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan pada prosedur yang dibuat oleh Dulay dan analisis kesalahan menggunakan prosedur yang dibuat oleh Ellis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis deskripsi dalam menjelaskan dan menganalisis kesalahan data yang diperoleh. Data peneltian diperoleh berdasarakan hasil tes siswa pada penggunaan kata lampau. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 2 FakFak periode akademik 2020/2021, Kelas X IPA 1 terdiri dari 12 siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi dan menganalis hasil tes siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hampir semua siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam menulis karangan argumentasi dengan menggunakan kata lampau. Siswa kurang memahami dan memperhatikan perubahan kata kerja dan bentuk masa lalu yang berkelanjutan. Mereka membuat kesalahan di bagian tambahan, kelalaian, kesalahan informasi dan salah urus. Oleh karena itu disarankan kepada siswa untuk lebih giat lagi menulis sehingga dapat meminimalisir kesalahan dalam penulisan karangan argumentasi. The objective of this study was to identify types of errors in the use of past tense in an argumentative writing at SMAN 2 FakFak. The classification of the types of errors in this study was based on procedure made by Dulay and the error analysis procedure made by Ellis. This study used descriptive analysis method to describe and analyse the errors of the data collected. The data were collected from students’ tests in the use of Simple Past Tense. The sample of this study was tenth grade students of SMAN 2 FakFak, academic year 2020/2021, the class of X IPA 1 consisting of 12 students. Data analysis was done by identifying and analysing the students’ tests. The results show that most of students made an error when writing an argumentative writing using past tense. They did not understand and pay attention on verb changes in past tense and past continuous. The students also made errors in addition parts, omission, malformation and disordering. Therefore, it is suggested for students to frequently practice in argumentative writing in order to minimize mistakes

Abstract

The objective of this research is to discover whether using The Jakarta Post newspaper could improve the academic vocabulary of UEF members in Makassar or not. The population was 100 with 40 samples. Samples were determined using random sampling technique. I used quasi experiment design where 20 members were in the control class and 20 were in the experimental class. Members of UEF Makassar in control class did not receive a treatment while those in experimental class were treated up to three meetings and given an extra article to study at home. The tests consist of 20 questions from rearranging words to translating sentences. The result shows that using English newspaper from The Jakarta Post can improve academic vocabulary of UEF members in Makassar. It can be seen from the average test scores of students before and after given treatments. The improvement was quite significant from 47.75 to 81. It was proven by the result of the statistical analysis of the significant level, p= 5% dan p= 1%, with degree of freedom (df) = 38 indicating that the t-test value of the students’ academic vocabulary (3,246) was higher than t-table value (2,02 and 2,71) or 2,02 < 3,246 > 2,71.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana sikap interpersonal guru mempengaruhi pencapain siswa dan persepsi siswa tentang sikap interpersonal guru di SMA Plus Budi Utomo (Boarding School). Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Plus Budi Utomo Makassar. Ukuran sampel sebanyak 124 siswa ditentukan berdasarkan table Isaac dan Newton. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah proportionate stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Analisi data dilakukan dengan analsis deskriptif dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku interpersonal guru yang positif dapat memberikan efek positif pada hasil belajar siswa baik ranah kognitif maupun ranah afektif. Tiga perilaku itu adalah kepemimpinan, membantu / ramah, dan pengertian. Perilaku kepemimpinan secara dominan berkontribusi pada prestasi siswa. Dalam ranah kognitif, aktivitas dan motivasi belajar siswa tergantung pada perilaku guru di kelas, karena guru adalah stimuli yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan motivasi belajar siswa. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa akan tercapai seiring dengan meningkatnya aktivitas dan motivasi belajar siswa. Dalam ranah afektif, sikap interpersonal guru juga dapat memiliki pengaruh positif. Persepsi siswa yang positif tentang perilaku interpersonal guru akan mengarahkan mereka untuk mencapai kinerja yang baik. Hasil belajar yang baik akan terwujud bersama kinerja yang baik. Dalam penelitian ini, sebagian besar siswa menganggap bahwa guru mereka adalah pemimpin yang baik, hampir setengah dari seluruh sampelsiswa menganggap bahwa guru mereka membantu / ramah, dan pengertian The aim of this study was to know to what extent the teachers’ interpersonal behaviors on students affected students’ achievements and students’ perception about teachers’ interpersonal behaviors at SMA Plus Budi Utomo (Boarding School). This study was descriptive using quantitative approach. The population was all students of SMA Plus Budi Utomo Makassar. The sample size were 124 students, determined based on the Isaac and Newton tables. The sampling technique was proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected by means of a questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis with the help of SPSS software version 20. The results of this study show that positive teachers’ interpersonal behavior can have positive effect on student learning outcomes both cognitive and affective domains. The three behaviors were leadership, helpful/friendly, and understanding. The leadership behavior dominantly contributes to students’ achievement. In the cognitive domain, student learning activities and motivation depends on the teachers’ behavior in the classroom because the teachers are stimuli who are expected to increase student learning activities and motivation. The increasing of student learning outcomes will be achieved along with the increase in student learning activities and motivation. In the affective domain, the teacher's interpersonal attitude can also have a positive influence. Positive student perceptions of the teacher's interpersonal behavior will lead them to achieve good performance. Good learning result will come along good performance. In this study, majority students perceive that their teachers are good leaders, almost half of the whole sample perceive that their teachers are helpful/friendly, and understanding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganlisis bentuk bahan ajar, kelayakan bahan ajar, kepraktisan bahan ajar, dan keefektifan bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis nilai budaya Toraja di SD Kabupaten Tana Toraja untuk mengetahui pengaruh dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar dengan model Kemp yang sudah di modifikasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas V SDN 221 Inpres Maliba’ dan SDN 297 Inpres Kambuno. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket, LKS, dan observasi. Peneliti mengolah data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model produk prototipe bahan ajar membaca bahasa Indonesia berbasis nilai budaya Toraja. Hasil uji coba bahan ajar terbatas maupun uji coba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar ini layak digunakan. Dengan demikian dapat kita simpulkan bahwa bahan ajar membaca bahasa Indonesia berbasis nilai budaya Toraja yang terdiri dari bahan ajar, LKS, beserta pedomannya. Selama digunakan dinyatakan valid, praktis, efektif dan layak digunakan. This study aims to determine and analyze the form of teaching materials, the feasibility of teaching materials, the practicality of teaching materials, and the effectiveness of teaching materials in Indonesian language learning based on Toraja cultural values in SD Tana Toraja Regency to determine the effect on the learning process. This study is development research of teaching materials with a modified Kemp model. This research was conducted in SD Tana Toraja Regency. The subjects of this study were students in class V SDN 221 Inpres Maliba' and SDN 297 Inpres Kambuno. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, worksheets, and observation. The data was analysed qualitatively and quantitatively. This study produces a prototype product model for reading teaching materials in Indonesian based on Toraja cultural values. The results of trials of limited teaching materials and field trials show that this teaching material is feasible to use. Thus, we can conclude that the teaching materials for reading Indonesian are based on Toraja cultural values which consist of teaching materials, worksheets, and their guidelines. As it is used, it is valid, practical, effective and proper for use.
