Abstract

Saving money as a form of investment action is very useful for achieving the desired goals, especially for women. This study aims to analyze the extent of the behavior of female students studying at the Faculty of Economics, Tidar University in carrying out money-saving actions as an investment intention. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The source of data used is primary data, which is obtained by means of semi-structured interviews with incidental sampling methods and focus group discussion (FGD). The sample data taken was as many as 20 female students from various study programs of the Faculty of Economics, Tidar University. The results of the study show that respondents have good awareness of the importance of financial management and investment. However, there is still a tendency to spend money on non-essential items, influenced by factors such as prestige, trends, lifestyle, FOMO (fear of missing out), and self-love. Therefore, respondents need to improve their knowledge and skills in managing personal and family finances, such as financial literacy, and consider other factors that can affect financial management behavior, such as environmental and social influences.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the competency of the resources owned by the Pekanbaru Senapelan Pratama Tax Service Office in implementing the strategic management model of the resource-based view. The capability of the Pekanbaru Senapelan Primary Tax Service Office in implementing strategic management model resource-based view. The strategy used by the Pekanbaru Senapelan Pratama Tax Service Office in implementing the resource-based view strategic management model. Based on the data obtained from the Senapelan Pekanbaru Primary Tax Service Office, it is known that the number of employees who are also the population in this study is 102 people. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, while the data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study is the data analysis used in this study is SWOT. The results of the study show that the resource competence of the Pekanbaru Senapelan Pratama Tax Service Office shows a strong position, meaning that the organization has DGT apparatus resources which are dominated by employees with strong technical competence, which includes service functions, supervision and law enforcement. Then the capability possessed by the Pekanbaru Senapelan Pratama Tax Service Office is included in the strong category. The Pekanbaru Senapelan Pratama Tax Service Office strategy that has been implemented so far shows a strong category and the position of the Pekanbaru Senapelan Primary Tax Service Office is in quadrant V position. In quadrant V, the most using both hold and guard strategies. This position indicates that the Pekanbaru Senapelan Primary Tax Service Office is in a defensive position and maintains that internal environmental conditions remain in a position to maximize strengths and minimize weaknesses by taking advantage of existing opportunities and preventing external threats. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of skill and competence simultaneously and partially on employee performance at PKS PT. SewangiSawit Sejahtera Kampar, Petapahan. The population in the study consisted of all employees working in the field of sorting and grading, processing, maintenaince, laboratory and administrative and finance fields which opened 60 employees. Determination of the sample in this study using the saturated census method so that the number of samples in this study were 60 respondents. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression model. Based on the results of simultaneous hypothesis testing, the skill and competence variables have a very significant influence on employee performance. Based on the results of partial hypothesis testing, skill and competence variables also have an influence on employee performance. The close relationship that occurs between the skill and competence variables on employee performance is very strong with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.868. While the contribution of the independent variable to the variable is 75.4% while the remaining 24.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Pergantian auditor (auditor switching) mengacu pada pergantian akuntan publik atau kantor akuntan publik. Fenomena ini menjadi perhatian dalam dunia akuntansi karena memiliki implikasi yang signifikan terhadap kualitas pelaporan keuangan dan kepercayaan investor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh opini audit, financial distress, audit fee, ukuran perusahaan klien terhadap auditor switching, baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial. Penelitian ini menggunakan data laporan keuangan dan tahunan pada perusahaan sektor transportasi dan logistik yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2018-2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 10 perusahaan. Data observasi yang digunakan adalah 50 data yang diambil dari rentang waktu 5 tahun. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif dan regresi logistik dengan bantuan program Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Secara simultan, hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa opini audit, financial distress, audit fee, dan ukuran perusahaan klien tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap auditor switching. Sedangkan secara parsial, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hanya opini audit yang berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap auditor switching. Abstract

Adanya kebutuhan bagi rumah sakit untuk melayani kebutuhan atas persaingan layanan non medis pada saat ini, disamping dengan kualitas pelayanan medisnya mendorong industri rumah sakit untuk terus berbenah. Temuan awal pada penelitian ini menunjukkan kurang optimalnya kinerja karyawan non medis disebabkan oleh kurangnya kesempatan karyawan dalam mengakses pelatihan dan pengembangan diri. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 70 Orang Karyawan non medis di Rumah Sakit, yang datanya diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat faktor yang secara eksplisit mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, yang mengkonfirmasi peran kompetensi karyawan yang didapat melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan, yang kemudian berdampak pada beban kerja yang semakin besar dan berkurangnya etos kerja dari karyawannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh service quality dan capability terhadap keunggulan kompetifif dan kinerja organisasi. Dan menganalisa pengaruh keunggulan kompetifif terhadap kinerja organisasi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien yang datang pada tahun 2021 sebanyak 1576 orang. Sedangkan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 234 orang. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sem. Service quality berpengaruh terhadap keunggulan kompetitif pasien. Abstract

This paper aimed to analyze the economic development including its macroeconomic variables in Sumatra during 2014-2020 by using simultaneous equation model with panel data. The results showed the existence of two-way relationship between economic and human development in Sumatera. The government spending and net export have significant and positive impact on economic growth. Household consumption and mean years schooling have significant and positive impact on Human Development Index in Sumatera. In brief, two determinants of economic growth of Sumatera are government spending and net export. Meanwhile, household consumption and mean years schooling have the indirect effect on economic growth. Keywords: economic development, human development, growth’s determinants

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of profitability, leverage, IOS and CSR on company value with dividend policy as an intervening variable. The population of this research is all Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Sub-Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2021. The statistical tool used in this research uses the structural equation modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 4.0. From the results of this research it can be concluded that profitability influences dividend policy and company value, but profitability does not mediate company value through dividend policy. Leverage has no effect on dividend policy and company value and dividend policy does not mediate company value through dividend policy. IOS influences dividend policy and company value and dividend policy mediates IOS on company value through dividend policy. CSR has an effect on dividend policy and not on company value and also dividend policy does not mediate CSR on company value through dividend policy.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of training, commitment and communication on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 4 Mandau. The data collection technique used a questionnaire that was distributed to 73 teachers. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on research analysis, it is known that training has a significant effect on performance. This is because the training time is appropriate and is carried out outside working hours so that teachers can focus entirely on training. Most of the training methods involve practice rather than lectures. The preparation of training supporting facilities and infrastructure is also good so that teachers can participate in training calmly and comfortably to improve their performance. Commitment has no significant effect on performance. Even though teachers have shown commitment to schools, academic activities, and students, the majority of teachers are still unable to accept and consider the 2013 curriculum to be much more efficient than the independent curriculum, even though teachers' commitment to accepting changes and understanding of this curriculum is an essential aspect of teacher performance assessment. Communication has a significant effect on performance. This is because teachers can express the meaning of the message correctly, have harmonious relationships with fellow teachers, and have a mutually motivating attitude to exchange experiences in overcoming teaching difficulties and learning problems experienced by students. Training, commitment, and communication together have a significant effect on performance. Teachers demonstrate good performance by conveying subjective student learning outcomes, as well as having good knowledge in handling the character and psychology of students who have difficulty learning so that they can understand and respond to the individual needs of each student

Abstract

Welfare is a very important element in life. Referring to the meaning of welfare in general terms, welfare refers to a good condition, a human condition where people are in a state of prosperity, in a state of health and peace. Welfare is a measuring point for a community that is already in a prosperous condition. The level of welfare in Tanjungbalai City which is known to be still low and the factors that influence it are the low level of education, the low level of community income, and the level of financial literacy that is not yet high. So the problem formulation of this research is how the influence of education, income, and financial literacy on community welfare in Tanjungbalai City, North Sumatra. This study uses quantitative descriptive research methods with the population used is the people of Tanjungbalai City who are over 20 years old with a total of 108,177 people, the number of samples used is 100 people with purposive sampling technique. The results of the study through the significance test show that the variables of education, income, and financial literacy individually and together affect the welfare variable in Tanjungbalai City.
