Abstract

Dakwah is a demand for every muslim, because one of Raulullah saw is to dakwah among people with various characters, thus Rasulullah saw needs right methods to invite them to the right path. Dakwah composed by Arabic latter dal, ‘ain, and wawu, and command word for da’a-yad’u is ud’u, in Mu’jam Mufahros li al fadhil Qur’an there is 10 verses begin withword ud’u, they are Al Baqoroh: 61, Al Baqoroh: 68, Al Baqoroh: 69, Al Baqoroh: 70, AL A’rof: 134, An Nahl: 125, Al Hajj: 67, Al Qoshos: 87, As Syuro: 15, Az Zukhruf: 49, from all those ten verses, there is only one verse that contains meaning command to do dakwah followed by it’s methods. This research appies comparative to analyze datas, specifically comparing between two tafsir on verses or surahs, by first explaining verses of Al Qur’an namely An Nahl verse 125-127 based on two mufassir they are Saayid Quthb and Buya Hamka, then comparing and analizing their interpretation

Abstract

In the present time, study of memorizing the Qur’an is seemed to be significantly developed. Now adays, there are many non-Formal Islamic Education Institutes in Indonesia which encourages and developes memorizing Qur’an programs to the student. This shows the high antusiasm of Indonesian Muslim societies to memorize the Qur’an and make their children as the Qur’an Learners. This trend is also as assign of Islamic Education Development. Nevertheles, memorizing Qur’an is not something new in muslim Community because as we know it has been running since years in Islamic Boarding school.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an has explained that life is colored by exams. The test is pronounced using the lafazh Al-balā. exams can take the form of pros and cons. But often in the social culture of the Indonesian nation is interpreted as something that has a negative connotation. Therefore, the author will study the meaning of Al balā ', as well as display the advantages and disadvantages of the book of tafsir Al-Mishbah. In Arabic, Al-balā ' means al-Ikhtibar, it also means trials and tribulations (Al Ihtibaru wa Al-Imtihanu), Al-balā' means joy so that one becomes more grateful to Allah and also means hardship so that one can be more patient. This research aims to determine the meaning of al-bala ' in Tafsîr Al-Mishbâh . This research is a library research. The method used in this research is to use the thematic method (maudhu'i). The primary source used is the book Tafsîr Al-Mishbâh and books related to the theme of Al-balā '. The results of this study, explain that lafazh al-bala means a test that includes good and bad. As for the advantages of the book of tafsir Al-misbah, among others, using the Indonesian language that can facilitate the readers, Tafsir Al-Mishbah includes contemporary previous archipelago, its sources use tafsirs that perfect the tafsirs of the Tafsir bil Ma'tsur and bi ar-Ra'yi, always consistent in parsing the sentences in each verse of the Qur'an, the use of various references so that it is easy to understand various circles, The disadvantage is the interpretation using the Indonesian language which shows the tafsir tafsir is local, also more dominated bil ra'yi. M. Quraish Shihab also sometimes quoted the opinions of scholars, Orientalists, Western philosophers, as well as the books of the old and new testaments and Shiite commentators. repetition that can give rise to saturation. Researchers hope that further researchers will be able to study the theme of Al Balā ' in the interpretation of Al-Mishbah more widely and include verses as well as derivatives from the Qur'an to be easier to understand and useful for others.

Abstract

Penafsiran atas ayat-ayat al-Quran merupakan suatu usaha yang telah ada sejak zaman Nabi Muhammad SAW. Beliau menerangkan kandungan al-Quran, dan meluruskan pemahaman-pemahaman (penafsiran) yang keliru atas beberapa ayat al-Quran, baik kesalahan yang muncul dari kalangan sahabat, ataupun dari pihak luar Islam. Dalam perkembangannya, penafsiran al-Quran sebagaimana telah ada hingga saat ini telah banyak termasuki pemahaman-pemahaman yang dinilai menyimpang oleh para ulama, dan dikenal dengan istilah ad-dakhil fi at-tafsir.Munculnya teori hermeneutika dalam ranah tafsir al-Quran menjadi sebuah permasalahan baru yang dapat dinilai pula keotentikannya dengan pendekatan teori ad-Dakhil fi tafsir ini. Penafsiran yang tidak memiliki landasan yang valid dikategorikan oleh para ulama sebagai ad-Dakhil (infiltrasi) dalam penafsiran al-Quran. Tulisan ini memaparkan gambaran persoalan diatas, dengan memberikan contoh penerapan hermeneutika dalam tafsir al-Quran, dan mengghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa penerapan hermeneutika dalam ranah tafsir al-Quran didapatkan seringkali tidak memiliki landasan yang telah ditetapkan dalam keilmuan Islam, terutama keilmuan al-Quran dan Tafsir, sehingga dapat diposisikan sebagai sebuah dakhil atau infiltrasi yang menyimpang dalam penafsiran al-Quran.

Abstract

This research gives remedies of some questions, how is tafsir (interpretation) of lafazh (word) quwwah in the Tafsir of Maraghi, as well as the perspective of word quwwah based on the scheme of Al-Wujuhwa An-Nazha’ir. This research is considered as a library research in which it applies a comparative descriptive approach.Based on the analysis, it was found that the lafazhquwwah in the tafsir of al-Maraghi has meaning as a form of order to study the kitabullah firmly and sincerely, as a form of command to prepare weapons for war, and to show the greatness of human strength and its civilization in the form of the story of the previ- ous people having great power.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of discussion about the concept of repentance in a special theme, namely the theme of hudud. Then another reason, namely, because there are still many people who want to repent for sins and mistakes that violate this hudud, but they do not know how to repent for their sins. Thus, it is important for Muslims to know the nature of the concept of repentance in the hudud verses, so that it is expected to become a means in the process of self-improvement to become servants who are always straight on His guidance. Then it is also hoped that this research will become a means to change the bad stigma of society towards one of Allah’s commands, namely the hudud law. Where the majority of people consider the implementation of the hudud law they consider cruelty and inhumanity. The method used in this research is the library research method with the maudlu’i (thematic) approach. In collecting verses with the hudud theme, the author refers to the Minhajul Muslim book by Abu Bakar Jabir Al-Jazairi, then after collecting the verses about hudud, then explains the interpretation of the hudud verses as mentioned by Quraish Shihab in his commentary book, then analyze the verses in which discuss the concept of repentance and its wisdom. The results of the research can explain that, the core concept of repentance contained in these hudud verses is the conditions of repentance itself. Thus, this research confirms the explanation of the scholars regarding the conditions of repentance in their work, which of course refers to the Al-Quran and Al-Hadith. Then on the implementation side of repentance in these hudud verses, the researcher concludes that the implementation of the concept of repentance is the application of the 4 conditions for repenting as described in the previous concept of repentance. And there is an explanation that someone has a sign that he is serious in implementing repentance. Then, there is also a discussion about the existence of the hudud law, namely as a form of ta’dib and tarbiyyah (discipline and education), not cruelty or revenge from God.

Abstract

Islamic law is entirely simple. Even the obligation becomes a fall when one is unable to perform it. This study aims to understand how Al-Maraghi interprets the Islamic facilities in Tafsir Al-Maraghi, as well as what is the wisdom of facilitating Muslims in Tafsir Al- Maraghi. This study is a literature review with a descriptive analytical approach. The primary source of data is Kitab Tafsir Al-Maraghi by Imam Ahmad Musthafa Al-Maraghi. While the secondary data sources are tafsir books and other books that have a relevance of discussion with this research. This research uses documentation methods and thematic meth- ods (maudhu’i) as data analysis techniques. The result of the analysis of this research is that Allah Subhânahu wa ta’ala provides con- venience for His servants who are hindered in carrying out their obligations among them as follows; Sick People, Travel People (Travelers), Masyaqot, People In An Emergency. As for the wisdom he facilitated among them, one of the forms of mercy and love of Allah to His servants, Strengthen the faith and piety of Muslims to Allah Subhânahu Wa Ta’ala and Make His servants who believe including grateful people.

Abstract

Zaitun was mentioned in several locations in Al-Qur’an, and yet majority of Indonesian peo- ple don’t know its eminence and they still minor concern about its usage for their health. This reseach was designed to discover the eminences of zaitun refer to tafsir Al-Misbah wrote by Quraish Shihab and to discover its correlation to health. This reseach applied maudhu’I tahlili (thematic and analytical) methods by mean gathering verses contain word “zaitun” or verses with the similar meaning, then arranging those verses orderly along with their asbabun nuzul, then explaining each verses interpretation referred to tafsir Al-Misbah. Then analizing the eminence of zaitun and its correlation to health. The result of this reseach showed that eminence of zaitun (refer to tafsir Al-Misbah) namely: zaitun is one of Allah’s favors, it has a very long life, its tree is blessed and grow in blessed place, it contains oils that glow, it has many benefits and with it Allah make a vow in Al-Qur’an. According to tafsir Al-Misbah, zai- tun has correlation to health, namely it makes heart healthy, it slows down growth of several types of cancer, its benefical for skin, lower blood pressure, prevent aging, etc.

Abstract

Islam means surrender to God with belief (aqidah). The essence of Islamic aqidah is tawhid. Tawhid is a fundamental core of Islamic teachings. The verse which explains about aqidah is Surah al-Alaq verses 1-5. The research aims at finding out 1) the principles of aqidah in Surah Al-Alaq verses 1-5 (comparative study of Al-Maraghi and Al-Qur'anul Majid An-Nur's Tafsir) 2) similarities and differences between two interpretations. This study uses library research (library research) with a comparative interpretation approach (muqarin). The primary sources are Al-Maraghi and Al-Qur’anul Majid Tafsir. Technique of Data collection employed is documentation. Technique of data analysis used is the muqarin method, which compares Al-Maraghi's with An-Nur's Tafsir of the verses studied. The results show that: 1) Principles of aqidah according to Ahmad Musthafa Al-Maraghi and Teungku Hasbi Ash-Shidhiqie: The first principle is Faith in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'al As already mentioned in both tafsir on the Asma 'Wa the Nature of Alloh, 2) The second principle of Aqidah is Faith in Allah’s Archangel. The two books describe the history of the conversation between the Prophet Muhammad and Waraqah about the situation he was visited by Gabriel, 3) The third principle of aqidah is Faith in the Prophet and the Apostle, on the same basis, namely the inclusion of the Waraqah conversation defending the Prophet Muhammad when he assumed the apostolic duty after receiving the revelation of Surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-5.

Abstract

Allah the exalted often mentions the word bârokah in the Qur`an, if we conceiv and com- prehend it, the word bârokah has wide range meaning, the word bârokah and its derivative (al mubârak and al bârokah) emerge several times in the Qur`an. The word bârokah located in vari- ous surah in different theme, we can find many example of creation that awarded Bârokah in the Qur`an which is place (country, town, village), human, (family, individual), time, object (tree, earnings, water, etc). Indonesian people also recognize term bârokah or berkah in their life, but most of them comprehend this term with wrong understanding like phenomenon of ngalap berkah, those people assumed they could earn bârokah from graves, animals, or a certain place. Method which is used in this reaserch is maudhu’i tahlili (analitycal thematic), the reasecrher will use steps based on al-Wujûh wa an Nazhâir and adjust the steps with the object studied. In this case the compiler try to gather varses carriying word bârokah and its derivated, explain interpreta- tion of each verse, then accumulate the meaning of bârokah in tafsir al Azhar. Word bârokah has many meaning, adjusted by object studied, word tabâraka means power, ability, Allah’s strength as the source of bârokah, word kitâbun mubârokun means Al-Qur`an, word bârokna means Allah gives blessing to his chosen people like prophet, places, times, and natural resources. In tafsir Al-Azhar bârokah meaning divided in to th themes, due to adjustment of of the object of the bârokah and its derivative, namely the source of bârokah (Allah the exalted) in word tabâraka, Al-Qur`an in word kitâbun mubârokun, human being (the prophet namely Isa, Ibrahim, Ishak along with their descendants, Musa along with his followers, Nuh along with his followers), places (earth, sky, Syam, Lebanon, Palestinian, Jordan, and Iraq), times (describe n tafsir Al-Azhar2 opinions, first 17th night of Ramadhan which is the night when the Qur`an first derived and lailatul qadr), natural resources (olive tree and rainwater), god utterance (salam).
