Jurnal Pedagogi Olahraga dan Kesehatan is a journal published by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The journal is published twice a year, in May and November. Jurnal Pedagogi Olahraga dan Kesehatan biannually publishes research on various aspects of the sports and exercise sciences, including anatomy, biomechanics, performance analysis, physiology, psychology, sports medicine, sports nutrition, health, and well-being, as well as coaching and talent identification and physical education. The Journal also publishes review articles and book reviews. The Journal focuses on the human sciences, including responses to technologies such as the design of sports equipment and training facilities, athlete selection and recruitment, performance analysis or modification, and stress reduction. To be considered for publication, manuscripts must be original and relevant to the aforementioned topics. It is published by the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. However, the readership for this Journal covers academics to practitioners from a range of disciplines and topics of interest. All articles published in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi untuk siswa SMP yang layak dan efektif untuk digunakan. Model yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat digunakan guru SMP sebagai salah satu bentuk model pembelajaran materi kesehatan reproduksi yang baik dan efektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengadaptasi langkah-langkah penelitian pengembangan sebagai berikut: (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) perencanaan dan perancangan, (3) penyusunan draft awal, (4) validasi produk, (5) revisi draft awal, (6) penyusunan draft kedua, (7) uji kelayakan, (8) uji efektivitas, dan (9) produk akhir. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan kepada 28 siswa kelas 8 SMP Negeri 2 Purwokerto. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan kepada 90 siswa kelas 8 SMP Negeri 1, 2 dan 8 Purwokerto. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil peneliti-an ini berupa model pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu (1) studi kasus, (2) bermain, dan (3) visualisasi yang disertai dengan buku panduan sebagai pedoman penggunaan model, CD Pembelajaran dan Kartu Pintar Kespro. Dari hasil penilaian validasi ahli dan uji kelayakan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa model pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi yang disusun sangat baik dan layak untuk digunakan, sedangkan berdasarkan uji efektivitas dapat disimpulkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa dan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran siswa tentang kesehatan reproduksi, Reproductive health education model “Fun Kespro” for junior high school students Abstract: This study aims to produce a reproductive health education model for junior high school students that is feasible and effective to use. The developed model is expected to be used by junior high school teachers as a form of a good and effective learning model for reproductive health materials. This research was conducted by adapting the steps of development research as follows: (1) preliminary study, (2) planning and design, (3) preparation of the initial draft, (4) product validation, (5) revision of the initial draft, (6) preparation of the second draft, (7) feasibility test, (8) effectiveness test, and (9) final product. The small-scale trial was conducted on 28 8th-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Purwokerto. Large-scale trials were conducted on 90 8th-grade students of SMP Negeri 1, 2, and 8 Purwokerto. The data analysis techniques used were quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research are in the form of a reproductive health education model consisting of three stages, namely (1) case study, (2) play, and (3) visualization, which is accompanied by a guidebook as a guideline for using the model, Learning CD and Smart Card Kespro. From the results of the expert validation assessment and feasibility test, it can be concluded that the reproductive health education model prepared is very good and suitable for use, while based on the effectiveness test, it can be concluded that the developed model is effective in increasing students' knowledge and can increase students' awareness of reproductive health.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitihan ini untuk mengevaluasi gerakan pada permainan tradisional Plinthengan. Metode yang digunakan dalam review research ini adalah kualitatif, dengan pendekatan systematic literatur review. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada Google Scholar, ResearchGate, dan beberapa jurnal artikel yang relevan lainnya. Sumber yang diperoleh mengacu pada tahun 2022 hingga yang tersedia paling awal tahun 2000. Kata kunci dalam penelitian ini yaitu permainan tradisional, pelestarian budaya, Plinthengan, dan analisis gerak. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa bermain Plinthengan dengan teknik yang benar akan menghasilkan tembakan yang akurat. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa permainan tradisional Plinthengan memerlukan strategi dalam bermain seperti mencari gerakan paling efektif dan efisien menggunakan cara analisis biomekanika untuk menyempurnakan gerakan dan terhindar dari cidera. Keterbatasan dalam menyusun penelitian review research ini yaitu masih kurangnya sumber literasi mengenai permainan tradisional khususnya Plinthengan. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, diharapkan dapat membahas terkait analisis gerakan Plinthengan dari aspek biomekanika. Analysis of traditional games in cultural preservation: Systematic literature review Abstract: This research aims to evaluate the movements in the traditional Plinthengan game. The method used in this review research is qualitative, with a systematic literature review approach. The data collection used in this study refers to Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and several other relevant journal articles. The sources obtained refer to 2022 until the earliest available in 2000. The keywords in this study are traditional games, cultural preservation, Plinthengan, and motion analysis. The results of this study show that playing the plinth with the correct technique will produce an accurate shot. This study also found that traditional Plinthengan games require playing strategies such as finding the most effective and efficient movements using biomechanical analysis to perfect movements and avoid injury. The limitation in compiling this research review research is that there is still a lack of literacy sources regarding traditional games, especially Plinthengan. For further research, it is expected to be able to discuss the analysis of Plinthengan motion from the biomechanical aspect.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengintegrasikan beberapa informasi yang di muat dalam sebuah resume tentang biomekanika tendangan double dalam olaharaga beladiri pencak silat. Basis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada Wiley, Idokan Poland Association, PubMed, Cendekia, Schoolar dan beberapa jurnal relevan yang berhubungan dengan Tendangan Samping dan Pencak Silat. Sumber mengacu pada data sejak 2021 hingga 1998 tertua untuk mendapatkan sumber terkait tendangan double pencak silat. Gerakan kaki atlet saat akan melakukan gerakan tendangan double masih belum tepat dalam membentuk gerakan sesuai standar kaidah IPSI  sehingga tendangan yang dihasilkan kurang maksimal. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah tendangan double dalam olahraga beladiri pencak silat memiliki teknik yang sulit di banding tendangan lainnya. Seorang atlet silat harus memiliki akurasi, kecepatan, kebenaran, ketepatan dan sudut segment tubuh dalam sebuah pertandingan terlebih lagi dalam melakukan gerak tendangan double. Analisa gerakan tendangan double atlet harus sesuai dengan ilmu mekanika diperlukan agar dapat dilakukan perbaikan serta atlet dapat melakukan gerakan tendangan double lebih efektif, efisien dan meminimalisir resiko cedera saat bertanding. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan mampu menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi peforma secara detail terkait komponen kondisi fisik.   Behind the double kick movement of pencak silat: A systematic review in biomechanical analysis Abstract: This study aims to integrate some of the information in a resume about the biomechanics of double kicks in pencak silat martial arts. The database used in this study refers to Wiley, Idokan Poland Association, PubMed, Cendekia, Schoolar, and several relevant journals related to Kick Side and Pencak Silat. Sources refer to the oldest data from 2021 to 1998 to obtain sources related to pencak silat double kicks. The athlete's foot movement when going to do a double kick is still not right in forming a movement according to the IPSI standard rules so the resulting kick is less than optimal. The conclusion obtained is that a silat athlete must have the accuracy, speed, correctness, accuracy, and body segment angles in a match, especially in doing double kicks. The analysis of the athlete's double kick movement must be in accordance with the necessary mechanics so that improvements can be made and the athlete can perform the double kick movement more effectively, and efficiently and minimize the risk of injury when competing. Future research is expected to be able to analyze and identify performance in detail related to the components of physical conditions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh latihan interval dan HIIT (2) pengaruh latihan HIIT, dan (3) perbedaan pengaruh latihan antara interval dan HIIT terhadap performance anaerobik dan keseimbangan pada atlet balap sepeda downhill mountainbike Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini adalah eksperimen, dengan desain Two Groups Pretest- Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian ini 12 atlet yang ditentukan dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen untuk mengukur performance anaerobik adalah RAST (Running-based Anaerobic Sprint Test) dan untuk mengukur keseimbangan adalah strock stand. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Ada pengaruh latihan interval terhadap kemampuan anaerobik power dan keseimbangan pada atlet balap downhill mountainbike Yogyakarta. (2) Ada pengaruh latihan HIIT terhadap kemampuan performance anaerobik dan keseimbangan pada atlet balap downhill mountainbike di Yogyakarta. (3) Tidak terdapat perbedaan antara latihan interval dan HIIT terdadap performance anaerobik dan keseimbangan pada atlet balap downhill mountainbike Yogyakarta. Pengaruh latihan HIIT terhadap peningkatan performance anaerobik lebih lebih baik dilihat dari mean pretest latihan interval sebesar 419 dan keseimbangan sebesar 69,33 dan pretest mean kelompok latihan HIIT 56,8333 dan keseimbangan sebesar 62,76167 dan posttest nilai mean kelompok latihan interval 445,1667 keseimbangan sebesar 76,63167 dan mean kelompok HIIT sebesar sebesar 602 dan keseimbangan 76,285 dengan nilai signifikansi mean antara kelompok interval dan HIIT sebesar 147,8333. Interval training and HIIT to improve performance and balance in downhill mountain bike cyclists Abstract: This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of interval training and HIIT, (2) the effect of HIIT training, and (3) the difference in the effect of training between interval and HIIT on anaerobic performance and balance in Yogyakarta downhill mountain bike racing athletes. This research is an experiment with a Two Groups Pretest- Posttest Design. The sample of this study was 12 athletes determined by total sampling technique. The instrument to measure anaerobic performance is RAST (Running-based Anaerobic Sprint Test) and to measure balance is struck stand. The data analysis technique used is the t-test at a significant level α = 0.05. The results of the study are as follows. (1) There is an effect of interval training on anaerobic power and balance in Yogyakarta downhill mountain bike racing athletes. (2) There is an effect of HIIT training on anaerobic performance ability and balance in downhill mountain bike racing athletes in Yogyakarta. (3) There is no difference between interval training and HIIT on anaerobic performance and balance in Yogyakarta downhill mountain bike racing athletes. The effect of HIIT training on improving anaerobic performance is better, as seen from the pretest mean of interval training of 419 and balance of 69.33 and pretest mean of HIIT training group of 56.8333 and balance of 62.76167 and posttest mean value of interval training group of 445.1667 balance of 76.63167 and mean of HIIT group of 602 and balance of 76.285 with significance value of mean between interval and HIIT group of 147.8333.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menghasilkan model pembelajaran penjas untuk mengembangkan kemampuan directional awareness, auditory awareness, dan gerak dasar manipulatif anak tunanetra. Penelitian pengembangan mengikuti model Borg Gall (Sukmadinata) melalui 9 langkah. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan di SLB N 1 Bantul sebanyak enam orang, skala besar dilakukan di SLB N 1 Kulonprogo dan SLB Hellen Keller yang berjumlah 10 orang. Hasil penelitian berupa model pembelajaran penjas permainan bola besar yang didokumentasikan dalam CD dan buku petunjuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada anak tunanetra. Model pembelajaran bola besar, terdapat lima permainan: (1) permainan bolingling, (2) bola jaring, (3) tangkap ceria, (4) rintangan hore dan (5) bola gawang ajaib. Pada akhir penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran yang dibuat sangat menarik, sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik, dapat digunakan sebagai cara mengajar penjas, serta sangat efektif untuk mengembangkan kemampuan directional awareness, auditory awareness, dan gerak dasar manipulatif Physical Education learning innovation with modified big ball games for blind children Abstract: This study aims to develop a teaching model of physical education for blind children in order to develop an ability in directional awareness, auditory awareness, and manipulative basic motion. This is research and development referred to Borg Gall in Sukmadinata through 9 steps. The small-scale trials were conducted on six students of SLB N 1 Bantul, while the large-scale trials were conducted on ten students of  SLB N 1 Kulonprogro and  SLB Hellen Keller Indonesia Yogyakarta. The result of this research is a model of physical education teaching large ball games that is documented in a CD and a guidebook of the implementation of learning for children with visual impairment. In the teaching model of large ball, there are five games, namely: (1) game of bolingling, (2) game of bola jaring, (3) game of tangkap ceria, (4) games of rintangan hore, and (5) game of bola gawang ajaib. The study concludes that the teaching model is very attractive. It is according to the characteristics of learners, it can be used as a way of teaching physical education, and it is very effective to develop the ability in directional awareness, auditory awareness, and manipulative basic motion in blind children.
