Abstract

This Community Service Program is carried out by lecturers of the Accounting Study Program and Digital Business Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Musi Rawas University, which also involve students in order to provide insight and additional knowledge to Yadika Vocational School students, Lubuklinggau City regarding strategies for managing finances and dealing with technological developments . The method used is using lectures, power points with visual media and question and answer. The enthusiasm of the participants in participating in this counseling activity is a benchmark for the success of the Community Service agenda. This is shown by the interaction between the speakers and the participants in the question and answer session so that the discussion of the material gets deeper.

Abstract

The aim of this PKM is to increase knowledge about innovative processed cassava products that can be made into various kinds of food products, improve the skills of cassava craftsmen, empower people to be more productive, and create more modern processed cassava products to increase income.  The location of this PKM activity was carried out in M. Sitiharjo Village, attended by 10 opaque, sweet potato cracker and eyek-eyek craftsmen. The stages of activities carried out at this PKM are the preparation stage. The  enthusiasm of the participants in this PKM activity was felt when there was a question and answer session and sharing stories. The hardest thing felt by the cassava craftsmen was the marketing of processed opaque products. So that makes the opaque craftsmen not enthusiastics and not innovating to make new products. With this PKM activity, it is hoped that the craftsmen will be more enthusiastic and able to innovate fot the better

Abstract

Community service is one of the obligations to the community which is carried out in a programmed and planned manner. By empowering the community which is the target group, the service is carried out as a relationship between empowerment and the target that will be the goal of service. Air Satan Village in Muara Beliti District is one of the agricultural and livestock areas, especially cattle and goats in Musi Rawas Regency. This resulted in a large amount of waste from livestock manure that was abandoned around the stables. Farmers' insight into the importance of protecting the environment is expected to increase as their knowledge increases in the utilization of natural resources into organic fertilizer. Pemberdayaan has a direction to provide motivation to the target community with education, direct practice. The method used is the method of lectures and demonstrations to the public. This activity is carried out by providing material through counseling (power point media) and then conducting demonstrations/training so that this counseling has success, namely farmers have the knowledge and ability to make liquid and solid organic fertilizers from livestock waste which can be used to replace inorganic fertilizers. This success was measured by the contribution of farmers who were active in discussions during the demonstration process. The increase in knowledge and ability is expected to contribute to the application process in the field.

Abstract

Keberadan limbah ternak merupakan salah satu permasalahan bagi peternak di Desa Air Satan, tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk membantu peternak dalam meningkatkan usaha melalui dengan pemanfaatan limbah/kotoran ternak sapi untuk dapat diolah menjadi pupuk organik sebagai sumber pendapatan tambahan bagi peternak. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik bagi peternak di Desa Air Satan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini memberi manfaat yang besar bagi masyarakat Desa Air Satan yang masih awam mengenai pemanfaatan kembali limbah ternak menjadi pupuk organik, dimana limbah dari kotoran sapi hanya dibuang saja tanpa ada pengolahan lebih lanjut. Pengolahan pupuk organik ini menjadi lebih cepat dengan bantuan bahan sebagai bioaktivator. Pupuk organik yang dihasilkan dapat dimanfaatkan untuk membantu meningkatkan kesuburan tanah di Desa Air Satan dan sekitarnya. Abstract

Pupuk organik dibuat dari penguraian tanaman, hewan, atau sampah organik oleh mikroorganisme aktif. Permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat adalah ketergantungan terhadap pupuk kimia,minimnya pengetahuan tentang bahaya pupuk terhadap unsur hara pada tanah. Tujuan PKM untuk mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia dan beralih ke pupuk organik.Metodologi PKM ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan dilakukan sosialisasi, dan penyiapan materi Tahap pelaksanaan, dilakukan penyampaian materi kebijkan penggunaan pupuk organik. Tahap ketiga adalah evaluasi dengan tanya jawab tentang materi dan penggunaan pupuk organik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat mengaplikasikan pupuk organik pada tanaman, meningkatkan kesadaran peserta tentang pentingnya penggunaan pupuk organik, sehingga bisa mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia di masyarakat Desa Air Satan .
