Abstract

This paper discusses democracy in Islamic education, this paper aims to know in depth about the definition of democracy, democracy in Islamic education, Problems of Islamic education democracy, Islamic education democracy solutions , Implementation of Islamic education democracy. Democracy regarding education where many problems often occur, one of which is a problem that often occurs in the world of education according to the observations of researchers, such as: schools, especially teachers, are often a reference of many things that are not desired by the community. When children are dependent on watching television, it is the school that is targeted because it is considered not to provide maximum media education. When there are frequent brawls, it is the school that is most highlighted because schools lack value education. When people are not familiar with technology, schools are also the focus because of lack of attention to the times, and there are many examples of other problems. The purpose of this study is to know the concept of democracy in Islam and to explain democratic education according to Islam. The research method used is a basic theoretical method that uses data from materials, namely library research, where the author reads and studies books or literature related to the problem under study. Democratic principles in Islamic Education are: There is freedom for educators and students, where freedom here includes: freedom to work, freedom to develop potential and freedom of opinion. Equality towards learners in Islamic education. Because, Islam provides equal opportunities for all learners to get an education or learn. Respect for individual dignity in Islamic education.

Abstract

This article examines the implementation of the English Language Policy in Indonesian schools and its positive and negative outcomes. The policy was established in the 1960s to assist students in learning English for academic and employment purposes. While the policy has led to increased access to learning resources and improved curriculum guidelines, challenges such as limited funding, inadequate teacher training, and a lack of standardized assessment methods hinder its full effectiveness. Additionally, resource disparities between urban and rural areas contribute to unequal access to quality English language education. To address these challenges, recommendations are proposed. These include increasing funding for English language education, enhancing teacher training programs, developing standardized assessment methods, promoting authentic language practice, addressing resource disparities, and collaborating with international institutions. These measures aim to improve the implementation of the policy, enhance students' English language proficiency, and create a more equitable education system. Regular evaluation, stakeholder involvement, and policy adjustments are crucial for the continuous improvement of the English Language Policy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Students in elementary schools are asked to study mathematics. Mathematics is a basic subject and also a means of scientific thinking, students are encouraged to study material that can be understood and used in everyday life. Besides students carrying out the teaching and learning process in class, students should have a strong motivation to carry out learning. In order for this motivation to continue to increase, educators must be active, creative, and innovative in designing student learning processes, using learning media that attract students and create joyful learning conditions. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of interactive CD-ROM learning media on students' motivation to learn mathematics V SDS TRISULA PERWARI. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method with the research subject being fifth grade students at SDS TRISULA PERWARI.

Abstract

Language is part of humans since birth, one of which is English where the use of this language is widely used almost all over the world and has become an international language. In language, good and correct pronunciation of a word can affect the response that will be received by the listener. Pronunciation plays an important role in personal and social life. The purpose of this article is to find out what errors and difficulties are often experienced by students when pronouncing words in English. This study uses a qualitative method, to find the perceptions experienced by students towards errors and difficulties in pronouncing words which will then be described based on the results found. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews which have been calculated and analyzed. The results show that many students experience errors in the pronunciation of English words due to the lack of student activities in listening such as listening to podcasts, movies, music from native speakers, and the differences in accents that students have with native speakers, and also students experience errors and difficulties in pronouncing words because there are words that sound almost the same but actually are not therefore students have difficulty distinguishing them.

Abstract

The increasing diversity in the student population presents challenges for educators in designing curricula that cater to the needs of all learners. This article explores the importance of designing curricula for diverse learners and the benefits it brings in promoting educational equity and inclusive education. It emphasizes the need to recognize and respect learners' diverse backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles to create an environment that fosters equal opportunities and educational success. Library research was conducted to gather information on designing curriculum for diverse learners. Thorough literature searches were performed using online library catalogs, research databases, and academic journals. Relevant sources were critically evaluated for credibility and relevance to ensure reliable information.The article discusses the needs of diverse learners, the challenges in curriculum design, frameworks and models for designing curriculum, and strategies to adapt the curriculum to meet diverse learners' needs. It highlights the significance of understanding cultural backgrounds, language proficiency, learning styles, abilities, and equitable access to resources. The Universal Design for Learning framework and other models offer valuable strategies for inclusive curriculum design.

Abstract

This research is research and development or Research and Development (R&D) which aims to develop teaching materials for news texts through worksheets based on high-level thinking skills for grade VIII junior high school. The development model used is the ADDIE model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. This research limits development to the development stage. From the stages that have been carried out, the results obtained are that Class VIII students at GKPI Padang Bulan Private Middle School are very interested and need LKPD products in learning. This was obtained through questionnaire data analyzing students' needs for LKPD needs based on high-level thinking skills with a 100% presentation. Through the needs analysis data, the development of LKPD was designed and validated by material experts, design experts, and teacher responses. The results of the study show that "Development of LKPD based on high-level thinking skills in news texts for class VIII" is included in the "very feasible" category. This can be seen from the results of the validation of material experts 80.7% in the "adequate" category, validation of design experts 80% in the "appropriate" category, the teacher's assessment of the field of study is 92.5% in the "very feasible" category, with a final percentage of 84.4% in the "very feasible" category. Therefore, this product is suitable for use in the educational process.

Abstract

This research aims to develop alternative instruments to assess the nationalist attitudes of learners in elementary schools. The method in this research is R&D model. The sample was chosen by purposive sampling with research subjects of high grade students in elementary school. Instruments in this study using a modified Likert Scale. The validity test used is content validity and construct validity. Content validity is measured using CVR (Content Validity Ratio) and construct validity is measured using EFA (Exploratory Factor Analysis). Testing the validity of the constructs extracts the components into eight, namely (1) Prioritizing the public interest above personal interests, (2) the spirit of sacrificing, (3) Unity and unity of the nation, (4) Patriotik in maintaining and promoting the nation, (5) Respect and preserve national culture, (6) cooperate, (7) tolerance, and (8) peace love). Test Reliability using Alpha Cronbach with good category. The nationalist attitude assessment instrument is feasible to use and can be developed by the teacher according to the specified grid.

Abstract

The research method used in this research is the experimental method. This method is used based on the consideration that the nature of experimental research is trying something to find out the influence or consequences of a treatment or treatment. Apart from that, the author wants to know the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable that is quoted or observed regarding this experimental method, because in this research we are looking for a cause-and-effect relationship from training using videobreaking to improving rowing skills. By conducting experiments on variables that allow you to get results. This is explained by Lutan, Berliana and Sunaryadi (2007: 146) that: "Experiment is a type of research that directly aims to influence the main variable, and a type of research that can truly test the hypothesis of a causal relationship." Meanwhile, Arikunto (2006:3) argues that: "Experiment is a way to look for cause and effect (causal relationship) between two factors that are deliberately caused by the researcher by eliminating or reducing or setting aside disturbing factors."
