Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student's social attitude. This study aims to determine the effect of learning Civics using sociodrama method to instill social awareness of fourth graders Elementary School Swasta Seberang Jaya. This research is a quasi experimental research with Noquivalent Control Group Design research design.Subjects in this study are the students of class IV consisting of two classes. Class IVB as experiment group, and class IVA as control group. Data collection techniques used in research in the form of scale, interview, observation, and documentation. Test requirements data analysis using the test of normality and homogeneity. Hypothesis testing using t-test with 5% significance level.The results of this study indicate that the learning of Civics using sosiodrama method gives a significant positive impact to instill social awareness of fourth grade students of swasta Elementary School Seberang Jaya 2017/2018. This was demonstrated by a t-test in the experimental-control group post-test, which showed significant differences between experimental-control group post-tests after treatment (treatment).

Abstract

The background of this study is the low writing skill of students at PGSD STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the implementation of learning writing of description text by using mind map at PGSD STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with four stages of activities namely planning, action, recognition and reflection. The results of the data analysis can be concluded that the use of mind map can improve the writing skills of students PGSD STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to describe some of the following: (1) the contribution of reading literature on short story writing skills texts by students, (2) the contribution of mastery of the concept of short stories short story text writing skills by students, and (3) the contribution of reading literature and mastery of the concept of short stories short story text writing skills by students of class XI SMAN 4 Muara Bungo. This research is a type of quantitative research by using descriptive and correlation design. The data of this research is the result of a questionnaire score reading literature, scores of short stories concept mastery test results, and the results of the test scores of text short story writing skills. The findings of the study are as follows: (1) interest in reading literature gives konrtibusi to text short story writing skills by 37.21%, (2) the mastery of the concept of short stories contributed to the text of the short story writing skills by 35%, (3) interest in reading literature and mastery of the short story concept jointly contribute to the text short story writing skills by 42,25%.

Abstract

The background of this study is that not all teachers in Civics learning have implemented active student-based approach learning. To create active learning, teachers can carry out learning using inquiry methods. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the description of the inquiry method and its application to self-development learning (PKn) in class VI of SDN.60/II Muara Bungo, Central Rimbo District. The object of this research is Class VI students of Public Elementary School 60 /II Muara Bungo, Central Rimbo District, Bungo Regency with 30 students. The research data collection technique uses observation, interview, and test techniques. The results of this study, namely (1) Preparation of learning planning using inquiry methods covering the subject, questions that refer to conclusions, teaching aids, media, and student worksheets, (2) Learning using inquiry methods is more attractive to students and can encourage students to find the final concept (conclusion) of the observations in accordance with the time set, (3) Learning outcomes using the inquiry method is better than not using the inquiry method. (4) obstacles in conducting research can be overcome. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the inquiry method can improve the process and learning outcomes of PKn students in Class VI SDN 60/II Muara Bungo, Central Rimbo District, Bungo Regency.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi awal yang dilakukan di SMK N 3 Sungai Penuh terlihat fenomena-fenomena pergaulan dari siswa/i dengan teman sebayanya yang mana hal tersebut ada kaitannya dengan minat belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui pengaruh Teman Sebaya terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa di SMK N 3 Sungai Penuh Kecamatan Kumun Debai Kota Sungai Penuh Kabupaten Kerinci. Pendekatan penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelatif. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan variabel bebas dan variabel terikat.. Hasil dari penelitian ini dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa Teman sebaya berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat belajar siswai. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan level signifikansi variabel Kepuasan kerja bernilai 0.000 (< 0.05). nilai koofisien regresinya adalah sebesar 0.510. hal ini berarti berpengaruh positif terhadap minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that approximately 41% of students have not finished learning ensemble music. Limitations of lesson time / hours available in one week. There is a gap in value between students who complete the KKM and the value of students who have not completed KKM. This type of research is Class Action Research. The samples taken were 32 people. The sampling technique is done by total sampling. The technique of collecting data uses tests and observations. The results showed that learning using peer tutors had a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes. By using peer tutoring method, it can improve learning outcomes in ensemble learners on pianika musical instruments. The lowest value increases from 62 to 85 while the highest value increases from 95 to 100.

Abstract

The level of success of students in the learning process is expressed by the learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are expressed as learning success rates expressed in the form of scores, after the learning process. Learning outcomes achieved by students give an overview of their level of position compared to other students. To find out someone has undergone a learning process and has undergone changes, both changes in knowledge, skills or attitudes can be seen from the learning outcomes.

Abstract

Hasil pengamatan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran tematik yang dilakukan oleh guru belum mampu meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, strategi Know Want to Know Learned (KWL) diterapkan. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk menggambarkan penerapan strategi KWL dalam pra-kegiatan, sementara-kegiatan dan pasca-kegiatan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar tematik siswa kelas tiga di SD Negeri 12 Koto Baru Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok. Ini adalah penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat fase termasuk perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa di kelas tiga. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan lembar observasi, catatan lapangan dan tes. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terungkap bahwa dari siklus pertama ke yang kedua, skor kegiatan guru meningkat dari 75% menjadi 88,75%, aktivitas siswa meningkat dari 65 menjadi 81,75, dan prestasi belajar siswa meningkat dari 70,2 menjadi 80,8.

Abstract

The result of observation in the field had indicated that the thematic learning process conducted by the teacher had not yet been able to improve the students’ learning achievement. To deal with this problem, Know Want to Know Learned (KWL) strategy was applied. This research was designed for describing the implementation of KWL strategy in pre-activity, whilst-activity and post-activity to improve the third grade students’ thematic learning achievement at SD Negeri 12 Koto Baru Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok. This was a Classroom Action research which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases including planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subject of the research was 30 students in the third grade. The data was gotten by using observation sheet, note-field and test. The data gotten was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the results of the research it was revealed that from the first cycle to the second one, the score of the teacher’s activities improved from 75% into 88,75%, the students’ activities improved from 65 into 81,75, and the students’ learning achievement improved from 70,2 into 80,8.

Abstract

This study began with a problem that occurred in Class IV SD 12 Mundam Sakti, namely the low activity and student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the results of observation and analysis of the results of UH I students. This study aims to reveal the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategies on thematic learning activities and outcomes that are specific to mathematics learning. The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of SDN 12 Mundam Sakti District IV Nagari, Sijunjung Regency, totaling 20 people.This research is a classroom action research with a simple qualitative and quantitative approach. In its implementation, this study consisted of two cycles conducted by researchers. Each cycle consists of planning activities, implementing actions accompanied by observations and reflections in each cycle. This research was conducted in the first semester of the 2014/2015 school year at SDN 12 Sakti District IV Nagari, Sijunjung Regency. The research data was collected through observations, field notes, videos, documentation and test results. The results of the analysis of the research data indicate that the use of PBL strategies can increase the activities and learning outcomes of Mathematics in class IV SDN 12 Sakti District IV Nagari Sijunjung Regency. This can be seen from oral activity, writing, and mental, has increased from cycle I to cycle II. The same thing is seen in student learning outcomes, namely: (1) the average student learning outcomes in cycle I 73.5 and in cycle II to 87.5. Seeing the results of this study, the classroom action research in the use of PBL strategies in mathematics learning needs to be applied and developed in order to improve the quality of education in the future.
