Abstract

The world of education is one sector that is always experiencing developments and changes following the times and the flow of globalization, in the world of education one that often experiences development is learning methods and learning curricula. This also affects the teacher who is the main instrument in realizing education, in facing the times and the development of the education curriculum, teachers must also always be ready to face it by continuously improving their competence as a teacher, one of which is professional competence so that they can improve the quality of good learning and excellent students. . This study aims to describe improving the quality of learning design and teacher competence by using collaborative supervision at SDN 20 Sitiung. The type of research in this research is school action research. School action research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle follows a procedure of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that in the first cycle by obtaining an average value of 67 sufficient categories, in the second cycle there was an increase with an average value of 71 in the planning and implementation aspects with good categories. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that the application of collaborative supervision can improve the quality of learning design and teacher competence at SDN 20 Sitiung.

Abstract

Interest means a high tendency of the heart towards something, also interpreted as passion or desire. Interest in children will begin to appear at pre-school age (3-5 years) to school age (6-12 years). And talent is defined as intelligence, traits and traits that are brought from birth, talents possessed by a person are believed to come from genetic patterns or DNA sequences that they carry. The role of parents is very important to detect how the interests and talents of children from an early age, to determine the interests and talents of children can be with the help of experts, namely child psychologists. But at this time there is still reluctance from parents to discuss their child's matter with a psychologist, starting from economic factors with the high cost of consulting and the lack of a number of psychologists which is not proportional to the growth of Indonesia's population. The goal to be achieved in this research is that by building a test of children's interests and talents, it is hoped that it can help parents to find out how their children's interests and talents are from an early age to prepare a quality successor of the nation without the help of experts, in this case child psychologists, whose numbers are still very small. minimal and high consulting fees.

Abstract

This study aims to Analyze the learning process in programming language courses to get information about the needs of lecturers and students as well as expectations in pedagogical learning. Analyze the need to develop project-based learning models and cooperative-based learning. The research method used was a survey method. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews and observations. The research sample is S1 Information Systems Study Program students and Lecturers at the Computer Science Faculty of Putra Indonesia University ‘YPTK" Padang. The results of this study obtained the level of mastery of students' pedagogical competencies at this time and the types of learning styles of each student that describe the characteristics of their learning styles. Then, the model used in the development of learning planning is a learning model that can learn students according to student learning styles so as to create student activity in learning, critical thinking, creative, communicative and collaborative in accordance with the demands of 21st century learning. learning that is equipped with quality model books and lecturer manuals that are expected to be able to improve student competency in accordance with the learning outcomes to be achieved.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning problem solving in story item reductions with different denominator. This research was aimed at improving the students’ learning achievement in story items of the reduction with different denominator by using Polya strategy. This research was conducted in SDN 09 Bandar Buat Kota Padang. The research subject teacher and the IV grade students were 23 people. research result shows learning outcomes cycle I obtaining an average value of 71,52 and increase in cycle II to 83,18.

Abstract

The use of laptops is generally to meet the needs of wireless communication and internet access. The use of laptops has increased very high in the world of education, both among school and college students. The majority of today's school children always bring laptops to school because of the demands of an increasingly sophisticated era. In the world of education, Australia is a pioneer country for the use of laptops in the school environment, laptops are in great demand because they can be used anywhere and also the use of laptops has a positive impact on the learning and teaching process. The data collection method was carried out by interviews using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The results of this study showed that there was no significant relationship between laptop size and health complaints that were felt due to laptop use (Pvalue = 0.961), there was no significant relationship between the duration of laptop use and health complaints that were felt due to laptop use (Pvalue = 0.782), no there is a significant relationship between the frequency of laptop use and health complaints that are felt due to laptop use (Pvalue = 0.065), there is a significant relationship between body position when using a laptop and health complaints that are felt due to laptop use (Pvalue = 0.002).

Abstract

Education has a role to improve the quality of its Human Resources (HR). The purpose of this research is to develop interactive multimedia-based learning media in the Introduction to Computer course. The method used in this development is the Research and Development (R&D) method. Research and development methods are methods used to produce certain products, and test the effectiveness of these products. The research and development itself is carried out based on an industry-based development model, the findings of which are used to design products and procedures, which are then systematically carried out by field tests, evaluated, refined to meet certain criteria for effectiveness, quality and standards. Interactive multimedia-based learning media in the Introduction to Computer course is proven to be able to increase conceptual understanding in Level III students. This can be seen from the results of the average student understanding of the pre-test control group 62.31 and the experimental group 69.81. From several validation experts, it means that this learning media does not need to be revised. However, this learning tool will still be improved based on suggestions and comments from each validation subject.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is the application of the Average Accounting method in building an inventory information system using a codeigniter framework to help warehouse managers of Bank Nagari Koto Baru Branch in completing inventory reports quickly and accurately. This research conducted a variety of problems, such as: data collection of available goods, supplier data collection, data collection of incoming goods, data collection of users, and data collection of goods used, then the data is processed into inventory reports using Microsoft Excel software. During the data collection process the warehouse manager must be careful to avoid data redundancy (double data) because the number of items to be recorded is very large. The system design in this study uses the Information Systems Flow (ASI) approach. The results of this study are an inventory information system by implementing the average accounting method using a codeigniter framework as a product that is very useful for the warehouse manager of Bank Nagari Koto Baru Branch to facilitate warehouse operations quickly, precisely, easily, accurately and produce quality inventory reports to help in decision making. This system is expected to be a very useful tool for managers in optimal warehouse operations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the STIE-GK Muara Bulian promotion strategy. The author uses a priori algorithm to analyze the data of new students of STIE-GK Muara Bulian in the academic year 2018/2019. A priori algorithm was chosen because of its ability to analyze data that appears simultaneously and repeatedly and data that has accumulated a long time, so it is necessary to use data mining, to gain knowledge. The data that I use is the data of new students STIE-GK Muara Bulian randomly as many as 100. The research method that I use is to manually calculate data then a trial of the Weka data mining software is conducted. The results of this study indicate, partially Vocational High School and TKJ majors are the most contributors to new students with a confidence level of 13%. The SMK and ADM majors are the second largest contributor to new students with a confidence level of 10%. The management study program comes from the TKJ major with a confidence level of 7%. The accounting study program comes from the TKJ major with a confidence level of 5%.

Abstract

The ability to solve mathematical problems in fraction material in the form of story problems is an issue faced by elementary school students, especially in the fourth-grade students. Analysis, reasoning, and understanding in solving students' story problems are still weak, besides that students assume that learning mathematics is difficult and unpleasant before trying it. This is the research’s background with the aim of knowing the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on the ability to solve mathematical problems in telling fraction material. This research used the Literature Study. Data collection techniques obtained from the study of literature by collecting data and references from a number of books, journals and theses that fit the purpose of the study. The research results obtained in this study by using literature studies are 1) Student learning is more meaningful by linking the material to the real world, 2) Pressing students to be able to exchange knowledge and learn to work together, 3) Give students the ability to solve mathematical problems in the matter of fraction material stories. This research was conducted by comparing arguments, ideas, opinions and research results from 54 references taken by researchers in this study. This shows that there is The Effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Model in Math Problem Solving Ability in Story Fractional Material Story in Grade IV Elementary Students.
