<![CDATA[AbtractThis research was backgrounded by unintegrated learning process applied to students in which a teacher, in this model of integrated thematic learning, had not introduced the students to actual cases happened in their environments. This research was aimed to describe the application of Problem Based Learning model to improve learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning to the students of grade V on SDN 114/III Dusun Baru Siulak Sungai Penuh Kerinci. The type of this research is CAR (Classroom Action Research) with mixed qualitative and quantitative approach. It was found in RPP that cycle I was 79.16% (C) in average, increased to 96.4% (SB) at cycle II. The implementation of learning on teacher aspect cycle I was 82.14% (B) in average and increased to 94.4% (SB) on cycle II. Meanwhile, the student aspect on cycle I was 82.14% (B) and increased to 94.4% (SB) on cycle II. The learning outcomes received on cycle I was 66.6% (D) in average and increased to 92.59% (SB) in average on cycle II]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to describe the application of the Discovery Learning model in integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. This research is motivated because there are still several problems that occur in the implementation of integrated thematic learning in elementary schools, especially the lack of teacher understanding of the implementation of integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. The method used in this research uses literature study (library research) through literature review to strengthen the analysis of the various sources used. Literature study in this writing is as a basis for forming an initial writing plan and as a secondary data source for writing, secondary data sources in the form of books, online journals, theses, and dissertations as well as other sources relevant to the application of the Discovery Learning model in learning. thematic integrated in elementary schools. The main sources of this research are reputable articles and journals. The results obtained by the writer from the search will be reviewed and analyzed using the content analysis method. Based on the results of the analysis of 15 journals, and reinforced by several theories, it can be concluded that the use of the Discovery Learning model is effective for application and can improve the implementation of integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. It can be seen from the explanation of how the learning planning is designed by the teacher, observations on aspects of the teacher and aspects of students, and the learning outcomes obtained by students.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning with the cooperative model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) in class V SD Negeri 16 Kampung Nan VI, Lubuk Sikaping District. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study was a teacher (practitioner) and 20 students. The results showed an increase in a). RPP cycle I averaged 82.15% with Good qualifications (B) increased in cycle II 92.85% with Very Good qualifications (SB), b) Implementation in the teacher aspect of cycle I averaged 82.81% with qualifications Good (B) increased in Cycle II 93.75% with very good qualifications (SB). While the implementation of the aspects of students in cycle I averaged 81.25% with good qualifications (B) increased in Cycle II 93.75% with very qualifications good (SB), c). Assessment of student learning outcomes in cycle I an average of 72.92 with sufficient qualifications (C) increased in cycle II 82.80 with good qualifications (B).]]>

<![CDATA[Mathematics is considered to be one of the most difficult subjects for most students. The negative effect of this is that many students feel anti-and fearful of learning mathematics before they actually learn mathematics. To increase students' interest in learning mathematics, new innovations are needed, such as the use of the context of karate in learning mathematics. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students by developing teaching materials using the context of karate sports based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education in learning mathematics on arithmetic operations. This research is a development research (Development) which leads to the Plomp development model. Three stages were used in the development of the Plomp model: 1) The initial research stage; 2) The prototype stage; 3) Assessment stage. This study obtained the results of the validity of teaching materials with an average total value of 62 in the very valid category. The results of the practicality level are stated to be practical, this can be seen from the results of teacher responses and student responses. Thus, PMRI-based mathematics teaching materials using the context of karate are declared valid with high and practical categories.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to improve students' integrated thematic learning outcomes by using the cooperative group investigation type model. Integrated thematic learning is learning that uses themes as the main focus. This learning provides meaningful experiences to students because in integrated thematic learning students will understand the concepts they learn through direct and real experiences. This research method, using classroom action research methods. The research procedure is in the form of a cycle. Each cycle consists of four stages including: planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. Data collecting techniques through observation and tests. This data collection uses an instrument in the form of student and teacher observation observation sheets in the learning process, while to determine the quality of student learning outcomes, evaluation / test sheets are used. The results showed that the use of the investigational group type cooperative model could improve students' integrated thematic learning outcomes. From the average value in the first cycle, 73.80% to 90.97% in the second cycle.]]>

The purpose of this study is to describe the data on how the analysis of students' speaking skills on the theme of energy 6 and the changes in sub-theme 1 energy source class III SD Negeri 2 Bangoan. The research approach used is a qualitative approach and the type of research used is descriptive. Related to data collection methods using interviews, tests and documentation. Interview and test methods are used to obtain information about students' speaking skills. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. <![CDATA[This study aims at finding out how Problem Based Learning (PBL) model improves the integreted thematic learning process of the fifth year elementary school students. This study used a classroom action research, conducted in two cycles. This studi used both qualitative and quantitative appoarches. The results of the observations on the Lesson Plan in Cycle I were on an average of 89,28%, categorized in the “good” qualification (G). The results increased to an average of 96,42% in Cycle II categorized in the “very good” qualification (VG). In the learning process during Cycle I, the results of the observations on the teacher and student aspects were on an average of 80,35%, categorized in the “good” qualification (G). The results increased to 96,42% in Cycle II, categorized in the “very good” qualification (VG). In the aspect of students’ knowledge and skills, the results of the observations in Cycle I were on average 75,01% categorized in the “good” qualification (G). The results also increased in Cycle II to an average of 85,14%, categorized in the “very good” qualification (VG). Thus, the results indicate an increase in the integrated thematic learning process using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class V of SD Negeri 20 Indarung, Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to explain the learning outcomes of students using the Discovery Learning model in thematic learning in class IV SD 13 Seberang, North Padang. This research is a class action that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were the teacher as the observer, the researcher as a practitioner, and the fourth grade students of SDN 13 Seberang, North Padang, amounting to 21 people. The results of this study are: (1) The percentage of RPP observations has increased from 79% to 95% in each cycle. (2) The teacher aspect in the first cycle was 81.25%, increasing to 93.75% in the second cycle. (3) The aspect of students experienced an increase in percentage from 81.25% to 93.75%. (4) Student learning outcomes, in the first cycle the percentage value of 71.4% with category C to 95.2% in the SB category in the second cycle.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims at developing QR-Code-based data presentation learning media which are valid and practical to improve the learning outcomes of the fourth year elementary school students. This study used a research and development (R&D) model consisting of such stages as analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of this study included 2 experts, 2 teachers and 26 students at class IV-B of SDN 15 Ulu Gadut, Padang. The instrument used in this study included expert validation sheets and questionnaires distributed to the teachers and students. The results indicate that (1) the use of QR-Code-based data presentation learning media to improve the learning outcomes of the fourth year elementary school students is valid according to the material expert and very valid according to the linguistic expert and media expert with the validity average of 95,41; (2) based on the response of the teachers and students, the use of QR-Code-based data presentation learning media to improve the learning outcomes of the fourth year elementary school students is very practical with the average of 95% and 88%.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the index card match type active learning strategy on student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning. This type of research is quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The research was conducted in 02 Balai Nan Duo in Payakumbuh. The sampling technique is simple random sampling, which is selected as the sample class is class IIIC as the experimental class and class IIIA as the control class. Sampling is using purporsive sampling technique. The instrument used to collecting data in this research is objevtive test with multiple choice form. Based on the results of data analysis using t-test, obtained tcount = (2,92) > ttabel (1,69) at a significant level of 0.05. It means that tcount > ttable, so H1 is accepted. Thus, there is a significant effect of index card macth type active learning strategy on the learning outcomes of integrated thematic in class III of Elementary School.]]>
