Magistrorum et Scholarium: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat (JMS) merupakan ajang penyajian hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan akses terbuka bagi para insan akademisi, peneliti, mahasiswa, dosen maupun praktisi. JMSmerupakan publikasi berkala yang diterbitkan Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) Salatiga, terbit tiga kali dalam setahun (bulan Agustus, Desember dan April). Fokus JMS adalah menyebarluaskan karya inovasi dari aktivitas pengabdian masyarakat berbagai disiplin ilmu dengan rupa-rupa topik yang memiliki dampak bagi masyarakat dan bangsa. JMS merupakan bagian dari komitmen UKSW dalam menjalin relasi yang baik dengan masyarakat dengan menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Keberagaman disiplin ilmu menjadi kekuatan dampak aktivitas pengabdian masyarakat.

Abstract

Keripik merupakan salah satu oleh-oleh khas Lampung yang cukup populer. Industri Rumah Tangga pengolahan keripik di Jalan Pagar Alam menjadi sentra Industri yang paling banyak dikunjungi. Permasalahan dari IRT keripik ini adalah Limbah buangan yang belum dikelola dengan baik. Limbah Buangan IRT keripik sangat berpotensi untuk dibuat anti mikroba alami yang bernilai jual tinggi, diversifikasinya dapat berupa produk pengawet pangan. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah 1) transfer teknologi/hasil riset; 2) memecahkan masalah limbah buangan Mitra. Metode yang dilakukan diantaranya ceramah dan diskusi diseminasi hasil riset, pendampingan pengolahan limbah buangan menjadi produk pengawet pangan. Kegiatan diseminasi hasil riset ini diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan limbah buangan Mitra dan menghasilkan produk samping yang memiliki nilai jual. Prosentase peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman materi setelah kegiatan pengabdian adalah pemanfaatan limbah buangan (40%), pembuatan pakan (50%), pembuatan anti mikroba alami (40%), pembuatan soft soap (80%), pembuatan sabun cair (70%).

Abstract

The Tlogo Kreasi Women's Skill Community, Tlogosari Kulon Village, is an SMME that stands based on the hobbies of some housewives in making crafts, and then traditionally sold between friends and local residents, though the community is getting bigger, they do not have the knowledge about proper financial management. This background, the community service team will encouraged their understanding and knowledge about how to prepare financial reports based on SAK EMKM, so they will understand and be able to apply proper financial reporting. The approach used in this case is a participatory training approach, through outreach and workshops. The material for this financial report based on the needs of the community who do not really understand the importance of financial reports as a support to the progress of community development. The results of this service are increased participant understanding and skills in making financial reports based on SAK EMKM.

Abstract

Tambaklorok area in North Semarang has many Micro, Small, & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) which produce seafood products, such as smoked fish, shrimp paste, fish or shrimp nugget, and fried anchovies. Most of the MSMEs in Tambaklorok still use traditional food technology for food processing and packaging, such as fish curing using smoke and simple packaging using plastic bags. The exposure of cooking smoke used for fish curing might impair the lung and respiratory system of the workers. Therefore, producers might utilize liquid smoke as an alternative smoked fish processing. Besides, in order to increase the production scale, producers might use vacuum packaging to extend the shelf life of food. The producers’ lack of knowledge regarding those processing and packaging alternatives might prevent the growth of their business ventures. For this reason, it is necessary to provide community outreach and counselling session to increase the knowledge and awareness of the producers on the processing and packaging alternatives. The participants welcomed such program and showed interests in applying those alternatives on their products.

Abstract

The training on making Es Dawet Belut Manis (dawnis) was motivated by the abundance of produce from eel cultivation in Kandri Village, like the lack of consumption of fish in Indonesia. The aim of this program is to increase the use of eels as an effort to promote the movement to eat fish. This program focuses on Kandri Tourism Village people, there are three stages, namely exposure to the potential and nutritional content of eels, training in Es Dawnis making and marketing of Es Dawnis. From the three stages, it can be concluded that the Ice Dawnis making training program has been successfully implemented by observing the enthusiasm of the participants, product acceptance, and product marketing that could potentially introduce Es Dawnis as a typical drink for Kandri Tourism Village.

Abstract

The main problem at BUMDes Asung Daya is the control weaknesses that results in the difficulty of mitigating existing risks, particularly related to the cash disbursement cycle. While on the other hand Asung Daya Village Social Enterprise were asked to stay afloat during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this activity is to assist Asung Daya Village Social Enterprise in creating better cash management by promoting optimal internal control. The method used in this activity is assistance, observation and case discussion. The result is the mapping of threats in the cash disbursement cycle, the formulation of preventive controls, the detection and improvement of each of its business activities, and the creation of a flowchart as part of the technical documentation of the Asung Daya Village Social Enterprise cash disbursement system.

Abstract

Akuntansi adalah alat bantu untuk perencanaan, pengelolaan, dan pengawasan organisasi, tak terkecuali di gereja. Pencatatan akuntansi Gereja Jemaat Kristus Indonesia (GJKI) Ekklesia, Salatiga didasarkan pada tata cara dan aturan gereja. Gereja saat ini, hanya memiliki laporan arus kas yang dibuat oleh sekretaris gereja. Padahal, PSAK No. 45/2011 mensyaratkan pelaporan keuangan gereja, terdiri dari laporan posisi keuangan, laporan aktivitas dan laporan arus kas. Oleh sebab itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diselenggarakan untuk membantu GJKI Ekklesia untuk menyusun laporan keuangan sesuai dengan PSAK No. 45/2011. Tujuannya agar pelaporan keuangan disana menjadi lebih akuntabel dan transparan. Metode pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan pendampingan. Hasilnya tersusunnya rekomendasi laporan keuangan sesuai dengan PSAK No. 45/2011 yang siap untuk diimplementasikan di GJKI Ekklesia.

Abstract

Pajak adalah sumber pendapatan utama negara. Usaha restoran juga dikenai pajak, yaitu Pajak Penghasilan, Pajak Restoran, dan Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan. RM Swalayan, Salatiga taat melakukan kewajiban perpajakannya, namun pembayaran pajaknya masih dilakukan secara konvensional sehingga menghabiskan waktu yang lama. Oleh sebab itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kewajiban perpajakan di RM Swalayan dan melatih pemilik usaha untuk menggunakan e-billing, sehingga bayar pajak bisa dilakukan dari mana saja dan cepat. Metode pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan pendampingan. Hasilnya, pemilik RM Swalayan dapat menggunakan e-billing dan tersusunnya rekomendasi terkait pengenaan Pajak Restoran dan Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor yang diidentifikasi belum diimplementasikan sesuai dengan aturan perpajakan yang berlaku.

Abstract

Organizational control is needed by both business and non-business organizations, business organizations have the main goal of getting profit and for non-businesses it has a goal for public services. Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) "Rukun Makmur" is located in Jetak Village, Semarang Regency and has three types of business units, including the Stationery and Photocopy Sales Business Unit, the Material Sales and Heavy Equipment Rental Business Unit (Molen), and the Non-Cash Food Assistance Business Unit (BPNT). The purpose of community service activities is to identify weaknesses in organizational control that exist in the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) organization and provide recommendation for appropriate strategies for the development of BUMDes.It is hoped that BUMDes managers will get a better understanding of the organizational control conditions and strategies that should be carried out.

Abstract

Audit Sistem Informasi merupakan mekanisme yang bertujuan untuk memastikan pengendalian internal dalam sistem pada organisasi telah berjalan sesuai dengan desain yang ditetapkan dalam upaya mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan dengan cara mengevaluasi dan menguji setiap aktivitas yang dilakukan dalam organisasi. Dalam artikel ini dipaparkan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa audit sistem informasi pada Sistem Pa’Tani di Dinas Pertanian Kota Salatiga. Audit dilakukan menggunakan COBIT. Berdasarkan hasil audit didapatkan bahwa sistem informasi pada Dinas Pertanian Kota Salatiga yaitu Sistem Pa’Tani sudah berjalan lancar dan dikelola dengan baik sesuai tujuan dan kebutuhan yang diinginkan.

Abstract

This community service activity is aimed at empowering the people of Kalkurmo Village, Beringin District, Semarang Regency through the processing of local natural resources. The appropriate technology being trained is the processing of corn into modified flour which can then be processed into various processed food products. Activities carried out in the form of training and community assistance to master post-harvest corn processing technology. Corn has been successfully processed into flour by fermentation and acetylation and then made into cookies. Cookies products can be used as processed food products to be marketed.
