Abstract

Endophytic bacteria are the most preferred biological agents in the last period to control Pratylenchus coffeae parasitic nematodes in coffee plants Endophytic bacteria are able to control P. coffeae and increase plant growth. The results of the application of endophytic bacteria can be increased through a combination application. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of endophytic bacterial isolates isolated from a coffee plantation from Kalibendo garden on the growth of Arabica coffee seedlings attacked by P. coffeae nematode. The study used isolates of endocytic bacteria Micrococcus luteus, Micrococcus sp. and Bacillus sp. the density of 109 cfu in two-month Arabica coffee plant seeds with 9 treatments, 4 replications and 3 sub-replication for 4 months of research. The results showed that a combination of endophytic bacterial isolates was able to significantly increase the growth of Arabica coffee plant seeds.

Abstract

Classroom action research was conducted with the following purposes: (1) increasing learning activities of class VIIC State Junior High School 3 Jember, (2) increasing the students’ achievement in Science subject. The result of the study indicated that the implementation of GI which is combined by puzzle game could increase the activities and achievement. From the finding of the study it was suggested that teachers should use GI method which was combined by puzzle games for the teaching and learning of Science subject.

Abstract

A cooperative model learning strategy of STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) is a learning model through a cooperatives learning approach that emphasizes on activities and interactions between students to motivate and assist with learning materials to achieve maximum achievement. The purpose of this research was an increase the result of the 8th grade students science study of SMPN 2 Jember. This research method was a qualitative approach. This kind of research was class action research. The class action in this study was done with 2 cycles. The results were by taking a research subject of 8th grade students of SMPN 2 Jember. From tests for study results on cycle one gets an average of 68,75% become 75,50% while on cycle two is average 75,50% become 87,25%. From the rise in average value, the use of STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) cooperative learning methods increases the students learning result to science lessons

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (guided inquiry) dan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 11 Samarinda tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X dengan sampel kelas X-A sebanyak 36 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif pre-eksperimental dengan metode one-group pretest-postest design. Data dianalisis dengan analisis regresi ganda dan pengujian signifikansi dengan menggunakan uji F. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa besarnya pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (guided inquiry) terhadap hasil belajar siswa sebesar 20 % dengan Fhitung = 8.56 dan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 85,05. Besarnya pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa sebesar 23, 48 % dengan Fhitung = 10, 39 dan rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 81,69. Sedangkan untuk pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (guided inquiry) dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar siswa adalah 37, 21 % dengan Fhitung = 9,75. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel maka Hipotesis Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (guided inquiry) dan motivasi secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Samarinda tahun ajaran 2014/2015.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed to describe the upgrading student learning outcomes on the subject of phytagoras class VIII E SMPN 1 Jember. The learning is done by applying blended learning with google classroom aplication. This study is a Classroom Action Research, which consists of 2 cycles and 4 learnings. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Student learning outcomes obtained based on the value of the test conducted at the end of each cycle. Based on tests carried out, of the 32 students of class VIII E, there are 19 students who otherwise has been thoroughly studied in cycle 1 with a percentage of 59,75% . Better results are obtained in cycle 2 with completeness percentage of 87,5%. Thus, it can be conclude that done by applying blended learning with google classroom aplication can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

Educational problems that exist in the classroom in general, namely the learning process is still dominated by teacher-centered learning and theoretical resulting in low retention and student learning outcomes. One way to improve student retention and learning outcomes requires a revolutionary paradigm by a teacher in the learning process. The BBL (Brain-Based Learning) based SFE (Student Facilitator and Explaining) learning model can improve student achievment and retention. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of BBL (Brain-Based Learning) SFE (Student Facilitator and Explaining) learning models on student achievment and retention. This type of research was a quasi experimental. Based on the results of the analysis does not significantly influence the student cognitive (p = 0.134), influencing the student psychomotor (p = 0.006), significantly influence the student affective (p = 0,000), and significantly influence the student retention (p = 0,000).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang valid, praktis dan efektif dengan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan powerpoint pada materi Barisan dan Deret untuk siswa kelas XI SMK. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri atas 3 fase yaitu: (i) Penelitian Awal (Preliminary Research), (ii) Fase Pengembangan (Prototyping Phase), (iii) Fase Penilaian (Assessment Phase). Perangkat yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini berupa: 1) Rancangan Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), 2) Buku Siswa, dan 3) Media Pembelajaran Powerpoint. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran tersebut valid. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh tiga validator yang berbeda. Kepraktisan didapat dari hasil observasi keterlaksanaan aktivitas guru yang menunjukkan kriteria baik. Sedangkan keefektifan dinilai dari tiga hal, yaitu hasil nilai TPBA siswa; hasil observasi aktivitas siswa; dan hasil respon siswa; yang ketiganya menunjukkan hasil baik dan positif.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe the implemenation of the use TGT model by applying Cerdas Cermat (Smart and Precise) Quiz to Increase the IXE SMP Negeri Sukorambi students’ learning achievement on dynamic electricity in the 2017/2018 Academic Year. Classroom Action Research was Designed by applying TGT Learning Model in Cerdas Cermat Quiz. The research steps was conducted by making small group the students at the beginning. Then, group discussion, presentation of group discussion result, and answering problems exercise. The result of Grade IXE SMPN Sukorambi science daily examination was still low, it was around 30%. It was probably because of the weakness of learning activity which was caused by uninteresting teaching model.

Abstract

HOTs is the main purpose of 21st-century science learning. Individu with HOTs will able to make a connection between facts and concepts, apply it into any new situation to solve the problem. The aim of this research was to developed integrated science test instrument to measure HOTs level of junior high school students. Oriondo and Antonio models’ was adapted and used in this research method. The test was developed in the reasoning-multiple choice form with three category based on PISA and Marzano HOTs competencies. The item analysis involved content validity, empirical validity, reliability, and difficulty index. Rasch model analysis through Quest and Ministep software output showed (1) Mean of INFIT MNSQ level at 1.00±0.12 that shows fit item with Rasch Model or empirical validity of items; (2) Level of INFIT MNSQ for all item between 0.77 and 1.33; (3) Vary of difficulty index; 34 items were at difficulty index level between -2 and +2; (4) junior high school students’ HOTs in SMP IT Multazzam Banyumanik was at low level because they are difficult in giving explanations or arguments about the options that have been selected. Thus, the integrated science test instrument developed can be used to measure students' HOTs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan struktur anatomi batang ulin varietas tando dan tembaga yang terdapat di Kalimantan Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persamaan anatomi batang ulin varietas tando dan tembaga adalah mempunyai sel minyak pada batang, susunan pembuluh bertipe kolateral, penyebaran pori adalah pancar dengan tipe soliter, berganda radial dan penyebaran parenkim apotrakea (sebar) dan paratrakea (aliform dan konfluen). Perbedaan secara anatomi antara batang varietas tando dan tembaga adalah varietas tando memiliki pori berganda radial 2-5 sel dan tipe berkelompok, penyebaran parenkim apotrakea bertipe pita; varietas tembaga memiliki pori berganda radial 2-3 sel; jari-jari empulur varietas tando bertipe heteroseluler, varietas tembaga bertipe homoseluler. Rerata panjang serat, diameter lumen dan ketebalan dinding serat varietas tando berturut-turut adalah 1647,40 µm, 11,90 µm dan 11,70 µm, sedangkan rerata panjang serat, diameter lumen dan ketebalan dinding serat varietas tembaga berturut-turut adalah 1598,20 µm, 15,20 µm dan 11,20 µm.
