Abstract

In the collecting oil process at the clarification station the sand trap tank process is first, the trapped sand will be blown down or drained by the operator to reduce NOS (Non Oil Soiled) levels. With the installation of an automatic drain valve, this will further increase the performance of quality control at the clarification station and also minimize maintenance costs for the clarification machines. Another goal is regularity of the drain sand trap tank, affecting the stages of the refining and collecting oil process. Oil separation in the VCT (Vertical Clarifier Tank) with a norm of 40% oil, 40% water and 20% NOS will be maximally achieved, due to the NOS in the sand trap tank improving the blow down results.

Abstract

MikroTik Hotspot Monitor, or abbreviated as Mikhmon, is a Routerboard device management application, such as MikroTik, that it can be controlled from the same network or from a different internet connection. Mikhmon can be accessed via Personal Computer, Hangphone, or website applications, making it easier for admins to manage MikroTik hotspots from various devices as long as they are connected to the internet. Mikhmon is an alternative to RouterOS, or WinBox, which has several features and functions that are considered simpler, and the appearance can be customized using the template provided. Based on this research several conclusions can be using the Mikhmon server can save the load on the routerboard, the use of wireless networks is very useful in terms of convenience in configuring each user manager on the routerboard and easy and stable management.

Abstract

Security in computer networks is very important to monitor network access and prevent unauthorized misuse of network resources. The task of network security is to protect and prevent it from causing system losses and damage to computer networks. One aspect of computer network security is to use the Extended Access List method, which is a type of Access Control List (ACL), which is an appropriate security method for network communications. The Extended Access List plays a role in managing the access rights of each host in a network simulation. The Extended Access List can filter network data traffic by controlling whether packets are forwarded or stopped. The Extended Access List can also guarantee computer security so that communication lines and access rights for each computer can work properly. With the Extended Access List method, it is hoped that it can monitor network access and prevent unauthorized misuse of network resources.

Abstract

Technological advances on smartphones, especially the geolocation feature, have now been developed to carry out various kinds of innovations. One of the innovations made is an Android-based attendance system. Many government or private agencies have implemented this Android-based attendance system in their organizations. This is because the existence of an android-based attendance system will make it easier to record employee attendance and can minimize the occurrence of fraud in recording attendance. Several agencies in the Sarolangun Regency Government are currently still using a manual attendance system which causes delays in data collection because they have to do manual recaps. This study aims to build an android-based attendance system that is tailored to the environmental needs of the Sarolangun district government. It is hoped that this system can reduce the problems that occur and make it easy for employees to take attendance via their respective smartphones.

Abstract

A baby incubator is a special device shaped like a glass tube filled with a small mattress for babies. In general, incubators can only be controlled directly, as technology develops, incubators can be controlled without direct touch via the internet of things. This baby incubator control system only uses 1 sensor which functions to detect temperature and humidity instability. As well as using the Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller which functions to control an input output from a system designed to process input data from sensors. The test results show that the system is able to provide information through the android application if it detects an instability of temperature and humidity in the incubator room.

Abstract

Wireless computer network allows connecting computers without using cables but using radio waves. Today’s computer networks generally still use cables, with the difference in media, namely air and cable, it takes a tool to combine the two networks with different media. In a wireless network where the user of user’s are connected to the internet using air media through an acces point’ divice. This wireless-based network makes it easier for people to access the internet wherever they are. The design of this network installation consists of installing an RJ- 45 connector on a UTP cable, configuring Power Beam Radio, Access Point, Configuration Server Mikrotik Router Board RB 941, Configuring Bandwidth management, with the existence of a wireless network at the ITB Indonesia Central and Branch campuses, Will make it easier for employees and public to access the internet easily and practically.

Abstract

Safety in charging cellphone batteries in public places is the most important thing. Places for charging cellphone batteries / Charger stations in public places do not have a good security system so that there are many cases of cellphone theft and so on. A charger station is very important to have security features to avoid these unwanted things. Therefore the use of the RFID (Radio frequency identification) feature is the right thing to make a security system at the charger station. This charger station system uses an Atmega 328 microcontroller to process data and control RFID, LED, and other components.

Abstract

Checking the quality of water that is not periodic or continuous, this can result in sudden changes in water quality without the shrimp farmers noticing so that it has a negative impact on the shrimp cultivation process and results in crop failure. To achieve optimal production targets, good management is needed, such as choosing the right location, pond design and construction, proper pond preparation, water preparation, seed selection and stocking, water management, feed management, and harvesting. Therefore, it is necessary to increase application of innovative, applicable and efficient technology, as an effort to increase pond productivity and improve environmental quality.

Abstract

IoT (Internet of Things) is a concept that aims to expand the benefits of continuously connected internet connectivity. IoT (Internet of Things) can be used in buildings to control electronic equipment such as room lights that can be operated remotely via a computer network. The research was carried out by building a remote control device that utilizes TCP/IP to carry out control processes in the local network through a web server embedded in the remote control device. There are two control features, namely one lamp control that is used to turn on one lamp and the overall lamp control feature and turns on all the lights at once.

Abstract

on the process, processed rice not only produces rice, but also produces several forms of waste such as husk ash, bran, and rice bran. Rice husk ash is a hard layer that includes kariopsis which consists of two halves called lemma and palea which are interconnected. From the remnants of the rice mill, it can also be used optimally as animal feed. Feed is a mixture of various kinds of organic materials given to livestock to meet the needs of nutrients needed for growth, development and reproduction. The problem faced by this team is how to determine animal feed from the rest of the rice mill. Based on these problems, the authors designed an application system that was built using Matlab software which combines fuzzy logic programs and Matlab GUI as the application display.
