Abstract

This study aims to determine the student’s listening improvement by using instructional media for English Song, students grade VIII MTs. Muhammadiyah 13 Tanjung Morawa. The lack of students’ listening ability through was caused by the learning condition which was not using media so that the learning process run so monotonous and it impact to the students anthusiasm. This case made the students felt boring. In order to achieve the goals that have been determined, then this study uses a two group pretest and posttest experimental research methods. The number of samples in this research were 20 students. The result of t-observed was 5.8 and t-table was 1.68 it means that t-observed higher than t-table. Because the result of t-observed is higher than t-table, it means that by using the media English songs can showed a significant affect on the improvement of listening VIII MTs. Muhammadiyah 13 Tanjung Morawa. The reseacher sincerely expected that enthusiasm are able to try and apply the appropriate media and in accordance with the material to be taught, one of them is the use of English song media for listening improvement.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to get the empirical evidence of the effect of using small group discussion technique on students’ achievment in reading narrative text at the third year students of MTS AL-Washliyah 30 Pematang Guntung. The method used in this study was quantitative through quasi experimental research. The population was all the third year students of MTS AL-Washliyah 30 Pematang Guntung. The total sample was 60 students that were taken by using lecturing technique Instrument of this study was multiplechoise test. Before doing the treatment, the students in experimental class were given the pre-test. Then, the students were taught by using small group discussion technique. At the end of the treatments, the students were given a post-test. T-test was used to analyze the data. Value of tobserve is 4.75 and the degree of freedom (df) is 58, whereas the value t-table on the degree of significance of 5% is 1.67. The T-test revealed that the result is significant; it is determined by the value of t Obsever which is bigger than t table. Thus, Ha is accepted because there is significant effect of using small group discussion on students’reading narrative text ability. Therefore, it can be concluded that using small group discussion is effective to improve students reading narrative text ability at the third year students of MTS AL-Washliyah 30 Pematang Guntung.

Abstract

Skripsi ini membahas tentang pendekatan metode Mind Mapping dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Perkembangan Demokrasi di Indonesia . Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu, Bagaimanakah Pendekataan pembelajaran Sejarah Demokrasi di Indonesia dengan menggunakan strategi Mind Mapping. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan , penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif , dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui Pendekataan pembelajaran Sejarah Demokrasi di Indonesia dengan menggunakan strategi Mind Mapping. Hasil penelitian memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Mind Mapping dalam pembelajaran Sejarah bertujuan untuk memudahkan siswa dalam mengatur dan mengingat segala bentuk informasi baik secara tertulis maupun verbal. Keterlibatan siswa dalam membuat Mind Mapping akan membantu upaya pemahaman materi sekaligus melatih berpikir kreatif siswa. Mind Mapping sangat cocok diterapkan pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Perkembangan Demokrasi di Indonesia karena mata pelajaran tersebut memiliki cakupan yang luas dan membutuhkan hafalan yang tinggi.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran penggunaan metode pembelajaran adalah satu faktor penentu berhasil tidaknya tujuan pembelajaran. Untuk menentukan metode yang tepat banyak faktor yang perlu diperhatikan agar metode yang digunakan dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan UMN Al Washliyah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar mahasiswa Ilmu Kealaman Dasar dengan menggunakan metode diskusi. Untuk mendapatkan data digunakan tes, bentuk tes yang digunakan adalah pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 soal dan waktu yang disediakan untuk menjawab soal selama 60 menit. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik uji-t pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh harga t hitung = 3,14 dan t tabel = 2,00 (t hitung > t tabel) pada taraf kepercayaan 95 %. Dengan demikian data penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh hasil belajar mahasiswa Ilmu Kealaman Dasar dengan menggunakan metode diskusi.

Abstract

This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods by analyzing a case study regarding online learning innovations at SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Batu and MA Al-Washliyah Serbelawan during the Covid-19 pandemic. Teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Batu use online learning following the protocol from the government and innovate in learning to make it better during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to find out the effect of applying snowball throwing on the student’s vocabulary mastery of SMA Swasta Rakyat Pancur Batu at tenth grade academic year 2021/2022. This research was used experimental research. The population were 40 students of two classes. The researcher using class X IPA 1 and X IPA 2 as the sample. Class X IPA 1 as the experimental group and X IPA 2 as the control group. The experimental group was taught and treatment by snowball throwing and control group without snowball throwing model. The instrument used to collect data in this research was test there are pre-test and post-test. The researcher found that there was a significant difference between the students? score in experimental group and control group. It was known by the mean score of the post-test in experimental group was higher than mean score of post-test in control group. The value of the t-observed 9.26 was higher than t-table 1.68 at the level of significant 0.05 with degree of freedom (df)=40. Based on the result of this research, the The researcher found that there are the significant effect of applying snowball throwing on the student’s vocabulary mastery of SMA Swasta Rakyat Pancur Batu at tenth grade.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the application of animated videos can improve the adjectives of 5th grade students Mis integrated al-ikhwan tanjung morawa. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings. Furthermore, this research was carried out in four steps, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The object of this research is to improve students' adjectives. In collecting data, researchers used tests, observations and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the animation video media has a positive role in increasing the adjectives of the MIS Terpadu Al-Ikhwan Tanjung Morawa students. This can be proven by the average value of students from the initial value, cycle I, cycle II. The average value of the initial score was 57.2, in the first cycle it was 62.4, and in the second cycle it was 81.9.
