Abstract

Banking profitability is the most important thing in the financial system for the economy in Indonesia (developing countries) in the future, because profitability is a ratio that shows the ability to earn profits or profits. The level of income earned in banking is influenced by external factors and internal factors. The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not there is a decrease in the income obtained by banks during the Covid-19 pandemic and the comparison of profits obtained before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Even though the Covid-19 pandemic is not yet one year old, it has brought many bad effects, Meanwhile, the results of research on the analysis of profit comparisons using the profitability ratio method produce data, namely that there is a significant decrease in earnings reaching 40% from the previous year period. This decline is considered to be the greatest from the previous year period.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to determine how exchange rates and interest rates affect stock prices. Two banking businesses listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange between 2018 and 2020 were chosen as study items. Purposive sampling was utilized to collect data. Multiple linear regression models are used to examine the independent variable's influence on the dependent variable. According to the research findings, currency rates and interest rates have a negative and substantial influence on the stock price of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. However, they do not affect the stock price of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. Simultaneously, the exchange rate and interest rate considerably influence PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk's stock price but have no significant effect on PT Bank Central Asia Tbk's stock price.

Abstract

Employees are important assets for the company, because the roles and functions of employees aim to help expedite productivity and maximize performance and use time effectively and efficiently. This study aims to determine the effect of work assessment to performance employee in something company and also aim for review the effect of performance appraisal on employees in an organization or company. This study uses the Literature Review method or literature review. Performance appraisal is also known as a performance review, performance evaluation, or employee appraisal which aims to increase employee productivity in a company. The purpose of performance appraisal is as follows: (1) As a basis for decision making. (2) As a basis foresee or estimate performance with method correlate results test with rating result performance. (3) Give bait come back to employee, so that evaluation performance can function as a vehicle for self-development and employee career development. (4) Performance appraisal can help determine the objectives of the training program. (5) Performance appraisal can help diagnose organizational problems. The function of performance appraisal is to encourage performance improvement. Performance appraisal is used as a means of communicating with employees regarding how they work and what means are needed to change behavior and attitudes, as well as a means of developing their skills and knowledge. Good job evaluation is very closely used to evaluate employee performance in accordance with the components of the job evaluation being assessed, for example, attendance, honesty, responsibility, work ability, loyalty, obedience, leadership and cooperation, as well as employee initiatives or ideas. Good, effective and clear performance appraisals will make employees more motivated to continue working diligently, and good work appraisals will have an impact on the enthusiasm of employees in doing work.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the motivation variables have a significant effect on performance and work discipline has a significant effect on performance. the the sample in this study was 30 respondents and used multiple linear regression analysis with the following regression equation YY = 4.604 + 0.476X1 + 0.336X2 + e. From the regression equation it can be seen that the work motivation variables are stated to have a significant influence on employee performance. It can also be said that more work motivation will affect employee performance. Work discipline variables have an influence on employee’s performance (Y). this means, every time there is an increase in work discipline will improve employee performance.

Abstract

Gunung Karamat Village is a border village between West Java Province and Banten Province, with a distance of 30 km to the center of the Sukabumi Regency government, which is located at Pelabuhan Ratu, with an area of 14.80 km2. Besides that. Gunung Karamat village has a coffee plantation whose quality is very promising. This is the result of a joint struggle between the community and the village government in managing agricultural land. Gunung Karamat village has superior products, namely robusta and arabica coffee. This has opened the eyes of the Sukabumi Mandiri Regional Public Company (Perumda ASM). The data collection method is the observation method, which is one method of collecting data by making direct observations, explaining and describing internal and external conditions (SWOT). The interview method was carried out with coffee managers such as BUMDES Gunung Karamat by asking questions that had been prepared previously. Data analysis was carried out with qualitative methods. The factors of excellence in this Gunung Keramat village coffee product are the availability of a very large area, the brand of Gunung Keramat coffee is well known, and the location of the coffee planter is very suitable. of the deficiency factors, namely, inadequate road access, incompetent experience of coffee farmers and limited capital are factors for slow Mount Karamat coffee.

Abstract

Various factors, including leadership style, decision making, communication, and team building, influence the success of MSME entrepreneurial businesses. This quantitative study aimed to assess the influence of these factors on the success of MSME entrepreneurial businesses in Bandung City, Indonesia. Data were collected through a survey of 150 MSME owners in Bandung City, and multiple regression analysis was used to examine the relationship between the independent variables and business success. The results showed that leadership style and team building significantly predicted business success, while communication and decision-making were not significant predictors. These findings suggest that effective leadership and team building are essential for business success in the context of MSMEs in Bandung City.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of innovation, creativity, and risk-taking on entrepreneurial growth and SMEs performance in Sukabumi City, Indonesia. A survey was conducted with 150 SMEs in the region to collect data on their innovation, creativity, risk-taking behavior, and performance indicators. The results suggest that innovation and creativity significantly impact SME growth and performance, while risk-taking has a weaker impact. These findings have important implications for policymakers and SMEs owners or managers in Sukabumi City and other regions with similar economic contexts, highlighting the need to promote and support innovative and creative practices among SMEs.

Abstract

This study uses panel data analysis and regression analysis to examine the relationship between income inequality, economic growth, inflation, and unemployment in West Java Province. The results of the panel data analysis indicate that income inequality, inflation, and unemployment significantly negatively affect economic growth. The regression analysis shows that income inequality significantly affects unemployment, while economic growth and inflation have a significant positive effect on unemployment. The study suggests that income inequality, inflation, and unemployment are important factors that affect economic growth and unemployment rates in West Java Province.

Abstract

This study explored the linkages between employee engagement, motivation, satisfaction, and retention in entrepreneurial enterprises within the beverage MSME industry in Bogor City. A quantitative research design was used to collect data from 278 employees working in entrepreneurial enterprises within the beverage MSME industry in Bogor City. The study found that employee engagement, motivation, and satisfaction were positively correlated with employee retention and collectively predicted employee retention in the beverage MSME industry in Bogor City. The study also found that employee perceptions of leadership, organizational culture, and job autonomy significantly influenced engagement, motivation, satisfaction, and retention. These findings suggest that businesses in the beverage MSME industry in Bogor City could benefit from investing in strategies and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, motivation, and satisfaction to promote employee retention. The study’s findings have implications for public policy and regulatory frameworks related to the beverage MSME industry in Bogor City and highlight the potential impact of external factors such as economic conditions, political instability, and technological advancements on employee retention.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between social media presence, brand awareness, customer loyalty, and sales growth among fashion industry entrepreneurs in West Java. A survey was conducted with 150 participants, and the data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The results indicate that social media presence is positively associated with brand awareness, customer loyalty, and sales growth. The findings suggest that fashion industry entrepreneurs in West Java should focus on building and maintaining a solid social media presence to improve their brand awareness, customer loyalty, and sales growth.
