Abstract

The activeness of students in teaching and learning activities undergoes various things, including the learning model used by teachers when teaching. The learning model uses the inquiry learning model where its process involves the activeness of students in teaching and learning activities to create critical thinking that is one of logical thinking way focused on decision-making to overcome the problem. In the guided inquiry, the student role is more dominant and active whereas the teacher directs and guides the right way. The problem that will be explained is how it affects the guided inquiry learning model on the activeness of 5th-grade students in SD Negeri Pujorahayu. The research method uses a quasi-experimental design whereas design research uses nonequivalent control group design. This research analyzes 2 classes that are 5th grade of A and B. The result of this research uses a simple linear regression test that the significant value was 0,000 ≤ 0,05 so Ha is accepted and Ho is declined which meant a significant affect between variable of the guided inquiry learning model on the activeness of 5th grade students in SD Negeri Pujorahayu. Explained the percentage of effect of puberty variable (X) on the student learning activeness (Y) is R square of 0,603 meaning that independent effect (guided inquiry learning model) on dependent variable (learning activeness) of 60%. So, guided inquiry learning model effects of 60% on the student learning activeness.

Abstract

School culture is as character and personality building followed by school members to distinguish between other schools. Good activities and behaviors affects student characters, especially those behaviors are undergone regularly. The formal education, school, those behaviors will form a school culture. The aim of this research is to know how contribute school culture to student characters, to find out the contribution between school culture and student characters and describe the implementation of school culture by inculcating student characters. The method of the research uses quantitative with a survey approach, data collecting technique using questionnaire. The number of samples used is 27 respondents, whereas data analysis technique is validity test, reliability test, normality test, and using simple linear regression with software of SPSS 19.0 version. The result of the research is that positive effect between school culture and student characters. The school culture increases 1% then it will be also followed by improvement of student character is 0,384% where the better culture as if the better student characters. Student characters are influenced by school culture of 17,4% while 82,6% is influenced by other factors outside of variable of research used. Implementation of character cultivation is analyzed though teaching and learning activity processes, curriculum used, development of learning process and school culture, and learning activity center including routine activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary, and conditioning.

Abstract

The importance of knowing the concept of thematic learning is one of the parameters to implement. Knowing the concept, characteristics, and learning stages (planning, implementation, and evaluation), so the teacher implementing thematic learning will undergo well that is according to the meaning of thematic learning. The problem that will be explained was analyzing the under teachers' difficulty implementing thematic learning. The aim of this research was to know about planning, implementation, and evaluation in thematic learning. The type of this research used was descriptive qualitative research. The result of this research was under teachers implementing thematic learning had not been appropriate curriculum standard of thematic learning. This was able to be presented that the planning process teacher had some difficulties in the fabrication of learning devices, methods, and media selection. Meanwhile, the teacher's implementation process also encountered some difficulties in integrating one learning to another learning, learning methods that were appropriate to students' characteristics and themes. In the evaluation process, the teacher experienced a difficulty because KTSP curriculum, on the other hand, the process of the class report had to be based on the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

Reading difficulty is basically a symptom appearing in various types of behavioral manifestations, either directly or indirectly, the most basic of all learning difficulties in reading difficulty. This research used a qualitative approach and the type of this research was a case study. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was the interactive model of quantitative data analysis (Miles and Huberman) that was data reduction, data display, and taking conclusion. The result of this research presented that the cause of students experiencing the reading difficulty was because internal and external factors. The internal factors involved intelligence level, the lack of motivation, and the lack of interest to read. The external factors that caused students experiencing reading difficulty were family conditions and parents' economic situation. The strategy used by teacher to help students undergoing reading difficulty was cooperation with parents, giving learning guidance and always giving motivation. The teacher obstacle factors to help students experience reading difficulty was social environment factors, environment factor in school and the lack of the student awareness experiencing reading difficulty. The supporting teacher factors to help students undergoing reading difficulty were using learning media, family factors, and student interest of reading.

Abstract

The importance of guidance and counseling to students is aimed at helping students to overcome the problems of personal, social, and academic aspects. Guidance in elementary school emphasizes the importance of the teachers’ role in the guidance function. In the teacher system, the teachers have more time to recognize the students deeper, so having the opportunity to have relationships is more effective. The aim of this research was to know the suitability of the teachers’ role as a doer of guidance and counseling with services in schools. The types of this research were field research, qualitative, and the approach used was qualitative descriptive. The result of this research was the problem that happened to 1st-grade students, the lack of students' ability to adapt to the new social environment. In 3rd grade, the difficulty with reading and writing skills, boredom in studying, the habit of making noise in class, and fighting habits in the class. In 6th grade, truancy, lack of motivation in learning, and anxiety about facing the final examination. Preventing teachers to help overcome the problem of students was personal, social, and learning development services, and cooperation with parents. The implementation, so far the role of teachers in implementing guidance and counseling had not been implemented optimally in accordance with the guidelines for implementing guidance and counseling in school. This was due to the lack of knowledge about the implementation of guidance and counseling, the teachers were never given specific training and the guidance and counseling program was not regulated systematically and designedly in school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterampilan guru dalam pengelolaan kelas di kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 048 Sumber Asri. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penyimpulan data. Dalam penelitian ini diperolah hasil bahwa dalam keterampilan pengelolaan kelas dapat ditempuh dengan dua cara yang pertama bersifat preventif yaitu untuk menciptakan dan memelihara kondisi belajar yang optimal. Keterampilan pengelolaan kelas yang kedua bersifat represif, memodifikasi tingkah laku, pengelolaan manajemen kelompok dan guru telah memanfaatkan metode pemecahan masalah kelompok untuk mengendalikan kondisi belajar yang optimal. Kendala dalam pengelolaan kelas yang ditemukan ketika mengajar ialah guru kurang menguasai anak yang terlalu aktif untuk mengembalikan suasana belajar yang kondusif yaitu dengan memberikan teguran dan motivasi agar peserta didik semangat dalam belajar dan kurangnya fasilitas belajar yakni ruang kelas yang mampu menunjang proses pembelajaran serta mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru kelas dalam pembentukan karakter siswa di kelas IV SDN Taraman. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh melalui dua sumber, yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penyimpulan data. Dalam penelitian ini diperolah hasil bahwa strategi yang dilakukan guru kelas IV SD Negeri Taraman dalam pembentukan karakter siswa adalah menjadi teladan dengan memberikan contoh perilaku yang baik, memberikan teguran, kegiatan rutin dan pemberian point ketika berkata kotor. Faktor penghambat meliputi: faktor keluarga, watak anak dan kemajuan teknologi sedangkan Faktor pendukung meliputi peran orang tua dan peran guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model active debate terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 02 Sriwangi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design (Nondesign) dengan One Grup Pretest Postest Design. Adapun subjek penelitiannya yaitu siswa kelas VI terdiri dari 7 siswa. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh hasil nilai ratarata pretest yaitu 60,71% dan nilai rata-rata postest yaitu 80,71 %. Berdasarkan ujihipotesis menggunakan software SPSS versi 25 melalui uji paired sampel t-tes diperoleh nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Model Active Debate dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa VI di SD Negeri 02 Sriwangi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan alat peraga dakota terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 01 Tugu Harum. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Adapun subjek penelitian nya yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN 01 Tugu Harum yang terdiri dari 28 siswa. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata pretest43,75 % dan nilai rata-rata posttest yaitu 86,79 %. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis menggunakan software SPSS versi 25 melaluiuji paired sampel t test diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan alat peraga dakota terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 01 TuguHarum.

Abstract

PPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana budaya yang ada di sekolah dapat mempengaruhi pendidikan karakter pancasila di Sekolah Dasar. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya sekolah dipengaruhi oleh program operasional yang diterapkan. Pada saat ini, peserta didik memiliki pemahaman dan penerapan yang kurang dalam hidup berbangsa dan bernegara. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor lainnya, seperti keadaan lingkungan sosial sekolah, lingkungan kerja sekolah, pengelolaan kelas, hingga kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Oleh karena itu, penerapan pendidikan karakter Pancasila harus kembali digencarkan sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas bangsa Indonesia agar lebih baik.
