Early Childhood Education and Development Studies ECEDS merupakan salah satu jurnal pendidikan anak usia dini yang menerbitkan, artikel penelitian, laporan studi lapangan, laporan studi kasus, kajian pustaka baik sekala lokal, nasional maupun internasional. Artikel yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal ini adalah tulisan asli yang berlum pernah dipublikasian di jurnal manapun. Tujuan Jurnal ECEDS dimaksud adalah sebagai wadah untuk menyebarluaskan informasi yang konstruktif untuk kemajuan pendidikan anak usia dini. Artikel yang akan dipublish memuat informasi dan isu-isu yang sifatnya terkini sesuai dengan perkembangan anak pendidikan anak usia dini. Abstract

The issues contained in the study on cognitive development in low numbers recognition capabilities.The purpose of this research was to study the improvement within cognitive development in the introduction of numbers after the application of the playing method using the number tower media to the B3 group children during the second semester or the academic year 2020/2021in TK-SD Satu Atap Negeri 1 Kenderan. This type of study is a classroom action-based research which was carried out in two cycles with 13 children as the subjects during the second semester or the academic 2020/2021. The data on the cognitive development in the introduction of numbers were collected by observation method with observation forms as the instrument. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The result of the data analysis shows that there was 70,75% improvement for the cognitive development in the introduction of numbers with the application of the playing method in the first cycle, which can be categorized as average.

Abstract

The problems found in this study regarding the introduction of low cognitive ability in numbers. The purpose of this research was to study the improvement within cognitive ability in the introduction of numbers after the application of the playing method using the number puzzle media to the B1 group children during the second semester or the academic year 2020/2021 in TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Dawan. This type of study is a classroom action-based research which was carried out in two cycles with 15 children as the subjects during the second semester or the academic 2020/2021. The data on the cognitive in the introduction of numbers were collected by observation method with observation forms as the instrument. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The result of the data analysis shows that there was 70,5% improvement for the cognitive ability in the introduction of numbers with the application of the playing method in the first cycle, which can be categorized as average. An improvement into 87,16% was also found in the second cycle which can be categorized as high.

Abstract

This study is underpinned by the salient issues apparent in the realm of children's cognitive development. The primary objective of this investigation is to ascertain the extent to which the cognitive advancement of children, specifically in problem-solving through Maze activities, can be augmented subsequent to the application of task assignment methodologies. The method used is data collection, using the assignment method while the data analysis method is descriptive analysis. The problem raised in this research is whether the application of the method of giving assignments through doing a maze (finding traces) can solve simple problems in the cognitive field in children. In this study, it produced data taken based on a survey of students at the State Kindergarten in Tukadmungga Village. With these data, it can be seen that the effectiveness of tracking activities to improve cognitive abilities in children aged 5 to 6 years is very effective.

Abstract

The use of hand puppets to improve children's speaking skills in group A TK Aisiyah Bustanul Athfal Dalam, Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency, Academic Year 2020/2021. The problem discussed in this study is how to use hand puppets to improve children's speaking skills through hand puppets. The goal to be achieved in this study was to find out how far the speaking ability or speaking skills of children through Aisiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency, 20 children were able to use hand puppets in their speaking skills, the rest were still shy. The research was conducted for a week and the data collected was quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data is data obtained from the results of formative tests in each cycle. While the qualitative data is in the form of observations in each learning cycle. The data obtained is then consulted with the success criteria to find out the child's learning outcomes.

Abstract

One of the roles of a teacher is to create a conducive ang enjoyable learning atmosphere, thereby increasing children’s interest in participating in learning activities. However, the observed reality at TK Mawar Sari Binaan Maleipea is that the students are not interested in participating in the early learning activities, which also affects subsequent learning activities. To address this issue, teachers play a significant role in enhancing students’ interest in participating in the early learning activities. This is the primary focus that the researcher in interested in investigating, leading to the necessity for conducting a study with the title: The Role of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Teachers in Enhancing Students’ Interest to Participate in Early Learning Activities at TK Mawar Sari Binaan Maleipea. With the formulation of the problem, namely what is the teacher's role in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities at Mawar Sari Kindergarten Fostered by Maleiea? The purpose of this writing is to find out the teacher's role in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities. This research was carried out in the TK Mawar Sari Fostered by Maleipea and the research subjects were assigned to 4 teachers. Data collection techniques are interviews and observation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the teacher's role in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities was very successful. This can be seen from the teacher's role from the five aspects of children's abilities, namely aspects of concentration, cognitive aspects, emotional aspects, language aspects and social aspects. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the role of the TK Mawar Sari Fostered Maleipea teacher in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities.

Abstract

One of the teaching areas for kindergarten children is learning the alphabet. The introduction to letters is crucially taught because if one of the language activities is reading, then the absolute requirement for a child to read is to recognize letters first. This article aims to explain the efforts that can be made to improve alphabet recognition using the method of playing letter cards. The problem investigated in this research is how to enhance the ability to recognize letters among children in Group A of TK Kemala Bhayangkari Ruteng. This study employs the Classroom Action Research technique, and the number of research subjects is 20 children, consisting of 8 females and 12 males. The research results indicate that the effort of alphabet recognition using the method of playing letter cards makes children more interested in the learning process activities and enhances their language skills. There is an improvement from Cycle I to Cycle II, and the learning process becomes more enjoyable for the children as they are delighted and actively engaged in playing and arranging the letter cards.

Abstract

The purpose of this class action research is to increase the creativity of group B children at the Pembina State Kindergarten, Dawan District. The research subjects were the children of Group B of Pembina State Kindergarten, Dawan District, which consisted of 15 children. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The data collection technique used is observation in the form of observation sheets, documentation, works. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the discussion that has been described previously, it can be concluded that playing plasticine from clay can increase creativity in students. This can be seen in the increase in frequency and percentage that occurred in the initial condition of 15 children, only 3 people got a score of 2 (20%), in cycle I it increased to 6 people got a score of 2 (40%) and 9 people got a score of 3 (60%) then in cycle II it increased again to 12 students got a score of 3 and a score of 4 (80%).

Abstract

This report was made based on the background of problems that occurred in the B1 group of St. Joseph Kindergarten, namely the low language ability of children in recognizing and arranging letters into a word. To overcome this problem, researchers designed a learning process through letter card playing activities with the aim of improving the language skills of group B1 children in St. Joseph Kindergarten which amounted to 15 children consisting of 5 boys and 10 girls. The design of this research activity refers to the flow of Classroom Action Research which is divided into 2 cycles and 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data in this action research is also collected by observation, assignment and documentation. Based on the results of the data analysis collected, it is proven that through playing letter cards can improve the language skills of group B1 children in St. Joseph's Kindergarten. With the results of development achievements as follows: in cycle I children who are in the stage of Very Good Development (BSB) as much as 13% and increase in cycle II to 60%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan kemampuan kreativitas anak kelompok B TK Negeri Kampung Baru semester II tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 dalam kegiatan menstempel gambar dengan menggunakan media pangkal bunga kamboja melalui metode Pemberian Tugas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu : tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas anak dengan menggunakan media pangkal bunga kamboja. Hasil awal yang diperoleh dari 3 (20%) anak yang memperoleh penilaian bintang 3 (***) yang artinya anak berkembang sesuai harapan, dan ada 4 (27%) anak memperoleh penilaian bintang 2 (**) yang artinya anak mulai berkembang, dan ada 8 (53%) anak memperoleh bintang 1 (*) yang artinya anak belum berkembang., pada siklus I diperoleh hasil 7 (46,7%) anak berkembang sesuai harapan, dan 6 (40%) anak mulai berkembang, dan yang lainnya 2 anak (13,3%) belum berkembang. Dari data ini dapat dikatakan bahwa pada siklus I belum mencapai kriteria keberhasilan, karena dikatakan berhasil apabila mencapai 80%. Pada siklus II menjadi 12 anak (80%) sudah berkembang sesuai harapan dan ada 3 anak (20%) mulai berkembang dan ada 0 anak (0%) belum berkembang. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah kegiatan menstempel gambar dengan media pangkal bunga kamboja melalui metode pemberian tugas dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas anak.

Abstract

This research was conducted to address the problem of improving children's cognitive abilities through puzzle playing activities. This study aims to improve children's cognitive abilities through playing puzzle activities at TK Satap Fatumuti group B in 2021. This research was carried out using Classroom Action research which consisted of two cycles, with five meetings in each cycle. This research was conducted for approximately two weeks. The results of the study proved that through playing puzzles children could improve their cognitive abilities at each meeting, the cognitive ability of children in cycle one was 30% with very poor criteria and in the second cycle it increased to 70% with very good criteria. Every time it is carried out in cycle one and cycle two it can be concluded that in learning improvement activities the cognitive abilities of group B TK Satap Fatumuti have increased. The teacher is a model, motivator, facilitator for their students. Teachers should continue to explore and develop their abilities to improve children's cognitive abilities in optimal and varied puzzle playing activities.
