Abstract

Abstract : Considering that character education is important to give to students, but the lack of knowledge and application of character education is very worrying because of the many acts of free association that occur among students as the next millennial generation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between character education and the free association behavior of students at SMK Negeri 1 Bokan Kepulauan, Banggai Laut Regency. This research was quantitative descriptive research which looks at the correlation or relationship between variables. The researcher conducted this research at SMK Negeri 1 Bokan Kepulauan, Banggai Laut Regency in July - August 2022. The population and sample were students of class X and XI, and the researcher took all the population to be used as research samples because of the population only consisted of 24 students. Data collection techniques used in this research was questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and inferential statistics, namely simple regression analysis, product moment correlation analysis, and also ANOVA analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that there was a very low relationship (0.171, category 0.00–0.199) between the students’ character education and their free association behavior at SMK Negeri I Bokan Kepulauan Banggai Laut Regency. Keywords: Character Education, Free Association, Promiscuous sex

Abstract

Insects can be found in almost all areas above the earth’s surface, on land, sea and air. Insect life has existed since 400  milion years ago, ranging from 2-3 milion insect species that have been identified. Insects are one of the groups of animals that have high level of diversit. This study aims to determine the diversity of surface water insects in the Batu gong river, Tataba Village, Buko District, Banggai Islands Regency. The type of research used was descriptive quantitative at Batu Gong River, Tataba Village, Buko District, Banggai Islands Regency. The sampling technique was carried out using the roaming method. The data were analyzed using the Shannon Winner Diversity Index. The results of this study indicate that the diversity of surface water insects in the Batu Gong River, Tababa Village, Buko District, Banggai Islands Regency was in the medium category whit a value of 1.71 At each station starting from station 1, the diversity index was found at a value of 1.72 in the medium category, while at station 2, the diversity index was at a value of 1.65 whit as medium category, and station 3, the diversity index was at a value of 1.62 with a lower category.Keywords:  Water Insects, Batu Gong River

Abstract

Abstract: Choosing the right learning model during the learning process is a very important thing for a teacher to do, to increase student learning activities. This research aims to find out the influence of learning model the Contextual Teaching and Learning toward student learning activities on biodiversity material in class X SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of the research was class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk for the 2022/2023 school year. The samples of this research were class Xb as an experimental class and class Xe as a control class, each of which consists of 39 students. The data collection technique was used students learning activity sheets with 8 aspects of assessment, namely observing teacher lessons, expressing questions, doing group assignments, listening to discussion group friends’ conversations, solving problems, presenting group assignments, answering questions, and approve and receiving opinions. The data were analyzed using a normality test and a t-test with the help of an SPSS application. The results of this research showed that there was an influence of learning model the Contextual Teaching and Learning on student learning activities on biodiversity material in class X SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk with a calculated tcount = 5.470 ˃ ttable = 1.665 and a significant value of 0.000 ˂ 0.05. Keywords: Learning Activities, Contextual Teaching and Learning

Abstract

ABSTRAKNILLA ERNI NURRACHMAH NINGSIH. 2022. Keanekaragaman Jenis Kupu-kupu di Kawasan Hutan Batu Tikar Kecamatan Luwuk Kabupaten Banggai. (Dibimbing oleh Sulasmi Anggo dan Wahyudin Abd. Karim).Kupu-kupu dapat menjaga keseimbangan sistem biologis dan memajukan varietas normal dalam proses penyerbukan bunga Kupu-kupu juga dapat berfungsi sebagai penyerbuk, memfasilitasi reproduksi alami ekosistem tanaman. Keberadaan Kupu-kupu di Kawasan Hutan Batu Tikar Kecamatan Luwuk Kabupaten Banggai perlu mendapat perhatian, karena ada perubahan Kawasan Hutan yaitu telah banyak ditebangnya pepohonan yang merupakan salah satu habitat Kupu-kupu karena pembangunan pipa-pipa besar oleh PT Awesome. Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk Mengetahui Jenis-jenis Kupu-kupu yang terdapat di Kawasan Hutan Batu Tikar Kecamatan Luwuk Kabupaten Banggai dan Untuk Mengetahui Keanekaragaman Kupu-kupu di Kawasan Hutan Batu Tikar Kecamatan Luwuk Kabupaten Banggai.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Kawasan Hutan Batu Tikar Kecamatan Luwuk Kabupaten Banggai Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 04 Agustus - 07 Agustus 2022. Pengambilan sampel dan data penelitian dilakukan di Kawasan Hutan Batu Tikar Kecamatan Luwuk Kabupaten Banggai . Sampelnya adalah jenis Kupu-kupu yang didapatkan dengan menggunakan alat tangkap jaring Kupu-kupu di Lokasi Penelitian. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara menjelajahi Kawasan Hutan Batu Tikar yang telah ditentukan tempat untuk melakukan penjelajahan. Kemudian menghitung semua jenis Kupu-kupu yang telah didapatkan didalam Kawasan Hutan Batu Tikar kemudian melakukan identifikasi Kupu-kupu yang telah didapatkan pada saat melakukan penelitian.Hasil penelitian tentang Keanekaragaman jenis Kupu-kupu di Kawasan Hutan Batu Tikar Kecamatan Luwuk Kabupaten Banggai Jenis-jenis Kupu-kupu yang ditemukan pada lokasi penelitian yaitu Mycalesis horsfieldi, Mycalesis patiana, Faunis menado, Cyrestis strigata, Dolescalla bisaltide, Vindula erota, Lasippa heliodore, Pareronia tritaea, Zethera incerta, Ideopsis juventa, Orsotriaena jopas, Eurema tominia, Pithecops phoenix, Cepora nadina, Euploea euniche, Lamasia lincides, Papilio gigon, Graphium sarpedon dan Papilio peranthus. Dengan jumlah keseluruhan yaitu 75 individu. Keanekaragaman Jenis Kupu-kupu di Kawasan Hutan Batu Tikar Kecamatan Luwuk Kabupaten Banggai yaitu dengan nilai H’= 2,559116 Artinya keanekaragamannya sedang. Kata Kumci : Keanekaragaman, Kupu-kupu, dan Hutan Batu Tikar

Abstract

Abstract: Project Based Learning (PjBL) is a student-centered learning model aimed at fostering a more disciplined and creative attitude, active learning so that it influences student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the 1 Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on learning outcomes on biodiversity material in class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Taliabu Island. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest and posttest control grup design. The research was conducted in the odd semester of 2022/2023. The population of the study was all student of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Taliabu. The sampel consisted of 2 classes, class X MIPA 1 was gathered by 10 people as the control class, and class MIPA 2 was gathered by 19 people as the experimental class. The data analysis technique used the normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test using the SPSS application. The results showed that there was no significant effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of class X MIPA students at SMA Negeri 6 Taliabu Island with a t-count < t-table, namely 0.198 < 1.703 and a significant value of 0.844 > 0.05. This study can be concluded that it rejected, and stated there is on significant effect of used Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on student learning outcomes on biodiversity material in class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Taliabu Island. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Preject Based Learning (PjBL)

Abstract

Abstract: The application of learning methods must be suitable to students' needs, in order to understand the material, encourage creative thinking, and focus on the task at hand.  This research aims to determine the influence of the  Snowball Throwing learning method on students' creative thinking ability on the Virus material class X SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk.  The type of research used is a pseudo-experiment (Quasi Experiment).  This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2022  /2023  school year, to be precise in August 2022. The research design used is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design.  The population of this research was all students of class X MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk for the  2022/2023 school year. The samples from this research were class XA which amounted to 27 students and class XE which amounted to 27 students. So, the total sample of this study was 54 students.  The data collection technique used 10  essay questions. The data were analyzed using a t-test to determine the effect of the Snowball Throwing method on students' creative thinking abilities.The results showed that there was no influence of the Snowball Throwing learning method on students' creative thinking ability in class X SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk virus material with a tcount = 0.835, and ttable value = 1.675 so tcount > ttable with significance level 0.407 > 0.05.  Keywords: Snowball Throwing Learning Method, Students' Creative Thinking Ability, Virus Material

Abstract

Serangga hama berperan sebagai merusak tanaman, saat ini belum ada penelitian mengenai serangga hama di kawasan agrowisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indeks keanekaragaman jenis serangga hama yang terdapat di kawasan agrowisata Universitas Muhammadiyah Luwuk Desa Lontos Kecamatan Luwuk Timur Kabupaten Banggai. Dilaksanakan pada bulan juli tahun 2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Desain penelitian pemasangan perangkap yellow trap dan handpicking. Pemasangan perangkap yellow trap pada tanaman diserang oleh serangga hama yaitu tanaman markisa, ubi kayu, pepaya, delima, jambu biji, cabai, pisang, kangkung, tanaman hias pucuk ungu. Teknik pengambilan sampel metode random sampling. Data yang diambil adalah  jenis serangga yang berpotensi sebagai hama di kawasan agrowisata. Data penunjang yang diukur adalah faktor lingkungan suhu udara, kelembapan kecepatan angin. Identifikasi sampel dilakukan di lapangan langsung dan di laboratorium pendidikan biologi, FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Luwuk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan indeks keanekaragaman serangga hama H’= 1.87, dikategori sedang. Hal tersebut ekosistem dalam kestabilan agrowisata pada spesies telah mencapai klimaks lebih tinggi pada suatu komunitas, sehingga dapat ekosisstem sedang dan berpengaruh terhadap faktor lingkungan untuk mempertahankan hidupnya. Rata-rata suhu sebesar 28,6 0C, kelembapan rata-rata sebesar 75,4%, kecepatan angin 8,8 knots. Hasil yang diperoleh sebanyak 88 jumlah indiviu yang termasuk dalam 13 jenis spesies.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Pulau Taliabu. This research was carried out in the even semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Year from April to May 2021. The research design was in the form of a Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The population of all students in class XI, amounting to 86 students. The research sample consisted of an experimental class with 22 students and a control class with 22 students, so that the total sample size was 44 students. The instrument used is test questions, in the form of pretest and posttest with a total of 20 multiple choice questions each. The data collected from the test results is processed and tested using the t-test (t-test). to see the influence of the learning model, then to test the hypothesis using the F test, with a significant α = 0.05. Based on the results of the study, the value of tcount > ttable (2.887> 1.682) was obtained, so that it was found that there were differences in the effect of learning outcomes with conventional learning models and two stay two stray learning models. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using the two stay two stray (TSTS) type learning model on student learning outcomes in class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Pulau Taliabu. Keywords: Cooperative Learning; Pulau Taliabu ; Two Stay Two Stray

Abstract

Abstract: The Covid epidemic is believed to have caused issues with online learning and lowered the standard of education in Indonesia. As a result, the government has started to set up a plan that may be carried out in person. A new policy governing restricted face-to-face learning has been implemented since July 2021. If teachers are immunized, set rigorous health standards in the school setting, and limit instruction hours, the limited face-to-face learning method can be implemented. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how parents see the restricted face-to-face instructions offered at SMP Negeri 4 Luwuk. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The population was all parents of 256 students of the school. There were 50 parents become the research sample, who have been selected through the cluster sampling technique. Data collection methods included a questionnaire with ten items and a Likert scale. To determine the parent’s impressions of restricted face-to-face learning, the data were examined using descriptive  statistical techniques. The findings revealed that 26 respondets, or 56% of 50 parents, rated the restricted face-to-face learning procedure as good. The view of parents concerning restricted  face-to-face learning at SMP Negeri 4 Luwuk is then shown to be in a good category.
